1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Misstatements you'll hear about Bitcoin on the media on: June 02, 2018, 06:15:08 AM
Then it would be cheaper for them to run an append only SQL table. It also runs faster.

yeah but the point is that the blockchain technology doesn't have to be used for decentralization. even in creating a cryptocurrency you can create a centralized one such as many altcoins that have already done it or the government issued cryptocurrencies such as Petro (Venezuelan crypto). being good/bad, efficient, cheaper or not is another argument though.
1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PRICE-VOLATILITY VERSUS PRICE-STABILITY on: June 02, 2018, 05:48:47 AM
to act as a currency bitcoin needs to become stable. and when that happens it will also eliminate all the newbies who want to become rich with bitcoin in a short time and it turns into more like a Forex market investment instead of a wild market with a lot of profit and loss.
so I think the preference of everyone should be to have a stable bitcoin. but this will take a long time because to become stable bitcoin needs to first become mass adopted so that the adoption rate drops and the market grows. for now the adoption rate is high and because of that we will see this kind of huge volatility.
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the Spirit folks, this is how you will get bitcoin killed on: June 02, 2018, 05:34:22 AM
I really don't get what the intention was with this advertisement. It's just implies that the advertisers are mocking the people who doesn't have bitcoin. They don't want to use it/invest in it, so? Let them be. There's enough hate in this world like what the hell. It just gives us a bad rap. Now people are going to think that crypto investors are a bunch of crybabies.

hate?
it is not insulting people. in fact the term is vague at best. this term did not even exist 7 months ago! as a matter of fact the term "nocoiner" was invented recently (about 6 months ago LOL) and if anything this picture is just advertising this newly created word.

what does it mean? someone who doesn't have bitcoin. who will be offended by this? Cheesy
1784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain technology solve our identity problems? on: June 02, 2018, 05:25:33 AM
Blockchain help us store a large amount of information safely. It would be easier to store all citizens information but it means the goverments can not control it.

blockchain technology doesn't have to be decentralized! when we are talking about a currency made using the blockchain technology we prefer it to be decentralized but if this technology is used in another place for another purpose (for example storing some data, like in a hospital for patients history, by government for storing documents, for registering property,...) then it can be centralized and in full control of the creator (government, ...) and there is nothing wrong with that.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin technology has been obsolete, why bitcoin prices still expensive? on: June 02, 2018, 05:18:13 AM
when you make a statement like this you have to back it up with reasons. right now it is pure bullshit unless you provide proof.

you say it is obsolete and outdated. ok, tell us why. a technology is only obsolete if it becomes useless and replaced by a newer technology. so give us an example of a better technology that is doing things better than bitcoin so that we can prove how wrong you are.
your problem is that you saw some advertisement telling you some altcoin is "best" so you have fallen for it. but if you go use that altcoin and educate yourself a little bit you can see  why I call it "advertisement".
1786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons Why Price of Tokens/Coins Grow + How to earn X's on: June 01, 2018, 01:50:53 PM
the summary of all these "reasons" is one thing:
altcoins/tokens are going up based purely on hype. so look for things that have the potential of hyping them up and initialize their pumps. it can be release of something from their roadmap (even a new wallet version is known to have pumped coins in the past), or it can be listing on an exchange or simply changing the name (like changing RaiBlocks name to NANO an pumping the coin!).
1787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your best HODL in this Red Zone? on: June 01, 2018, 01:44:48 PM
if you are not a trader then the only thing that you should ever hold is something that has real potential. in my opinion that thing is bitcoin and nothing else.

Technically speaking, if Bitcoin goes up, it will make sure the altcoin market goes up with it. Bitcoin is the benchmark currency of this industry, and with the enormous growth that it will experience, it means the entire industry will get a boost in the long term. From there it's pretty safe to say that the most well established altcoins will increase in value throughout the years. The only thing is that with Bitcoin you know that you have the right currency in your portfolio, where with altcoins it will remain somewhat of a gamble. Diversifying your portfolio is fine, but Bitcoin should at least be 50% of that because every portfolio needs solidity for the most part, and a smaller part for very speculative (but potentially very rewarding) altcoins.

I haven't actually ever verified this hour per hour on bitcoin and different altcoins but with just quick glances that I often have of the market I can say what you said about the rise is not true. when bitcoin rises altcoin do not rise with it. and I don't mean after the drop ends and it reverses, but I mean when it is actually on the rise because after the reversal everything goes back up but that is not rise it is recovery.

as for diversification I say what you said here is contradictory. you say if bitcoin rises, others rise and we all know if it drops others drop. so it doesn't make any sense to buy things that follow your main investment! the first rule of diversification is to buy things that are not related and don't move together. like buying bitcoin and gold. not bitcoin and altcoins.
1788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would BTC shake off an ICO shite implosion? on: June 01, 2018, 12:20:43 PM
as long as money is involved and as long as it is easy to make it using the alternative market there is always going to be a lot of shitstrom where a bunch of greedy people pour their money into just to lose it to a bunch of other people who see the gullibility level and want to abuse it.
so if the ICO shit implosion ends there will be another shit implosion in the altcoin market right after that and with a different method and different name but basically the same principals.

and bitcoin will remain under the pressure that this side-market puts on bitcoin until it becomes too big that the space between bitcoin and the whole altcoin market becomes too huge to have any effect on it.
1789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: June 01, 2018, 11:26:54 AM
....
Yes traders have never bothered about transaction fee.Lower transaction fee would help bitcoin once again to get accepted as payment.

We could remember those days when some companies just withdrew accepting bitcoin payments due to very high transaction fee.

of course, I didn't mean to say lower fees never help bitcoin. it is obvious that when fees are lower there is a much bigger incentive for people to spend their coins and merchants to accept it as payments and all that will contribute to more adoption of bitcoin and finally a higher price. there is no argument there...

however what I meant to say was that traders that are already in never changed their attitude towards the market because of the higher fees. of course everyone was angry about it but they still continued buying bitcoin and price went from about $6000 to $20000 during that high fee period.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the impact to Crypto Market if we meet global crisis again? on: June 01, 2018, 11:18:53 AM
there will definitely be a huge rise in bitcoin price as there will be a huge wave of people coming in to dump their money for the only decentralized currency that nobody can control and is secure enough to store their value.

additionally I think for at least a short while we may see an altcoin pump as some will be fooled into investing in altcoins thanks to the advertisement but I doubt that can last long because all the pumpers will want to go back to bitcoin and store their money there in case of a crisis so we may see a total destruction of altcoins after a couple of months.
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: June 01, 2018, 11:05:34 AM
From last few days, btc transactions fees has been reduced remarkably. Even its transactions fees are now lower than bitcoin cash.
are you joking or are you actually serious about this? bitcoin transaction fees have never been high except for a short couple moths that the spam attack was at its most serious. in fact this spam attack ended nearly 6 months ago and fees were normal and low ever since.

Quote
It is really a great news for btc trader i think. How it can help the current market?? Share your logic please .

the "market" and the "traders" have never cared about the fees based on what they have shown during the fee ATH which was at the same time as the biggest price rise.
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Steps Forward To Legalize Cryptocurrencies on: June 01, 2018, 11:00:36 AM
It is necessary to wait for final result since from that as in a final form the law will look a lot of things depend.

If the Ukrainian government is "legalizing" their btcmarket there are two sides: Firstly it seems great and I do not want to negate that but secondly they will start to tax and oversee transactions of companies in their country which also could be a loss. Maybe the smaller one..

anybody including companies that aren't doing anything illegal don't mind their finances being reviewed and they don't mind paying their taxes so you can not call that a downside. it is only a downside for shady people who wanted to do something illegal.
besides the good part of it is a lot bigger. a legal currency as bitcoin is in countries such as Japan, means a lot more adoption and a lot more merchants freely accepting bitcoin payments.
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Misstatements you'll hear about Bitcoin on the media on: June 01, 2018, 06:36:26 AM
#1 why does it say SHA2 instead of SHA256?

#2 nobody says that Tongue they say "miners" validate transactions which is somewhat true since they either run a node themselves for their farm or connect to a pool that runs a Fully Verification Node that does it for them.

#6 is misleading. blockchain is the technology and it doesn't have to be used in a decentralized manner. it can be used by many sectors also. for example there are hospitals using blockchain technology to store and share their patient's documents and it is centralized and has nothing to do with a currency or asset (calling bitcoin an asset here is another mistake)
although this explanation has nothing to do with "bitcoin can be surpassed" though! that statement is similar to #9 and is created to advertise altcoins and pump them nothing more.
1794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto market=online casino on: June 01, 2018, 06:02:42 AM
if you go to stocks market and see the names of each stock like XYZ, ABC,... and buy them randomly without knowing what company they belong to, what their potentials are, whether they are scams or not (like going to penny stocks market), .... and then lose money does that make Stocks Market a big online casino?

of course stocks market is a bad example for the whole altcoin market because at least when you have Shares on that market you must be a legit company with assets but in altcoin market you can create a shitcoin with click of a button. but at least the example is good for bitcoin.
1795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which trading exchange site best for beginner ? on: May 31, 2018, 09:21:42 AM
the platform itself doesn't make any difference for a beginner because all of them are almost similar with different design. they do have certain features different from each other but these certain features don't matter to a beginner.

as a beginner you need to learn how to trade then learn how does the cryptocurrency market work before you want to invest in it.

my suggestion is using Binance and also I would advise  staying away from Bittrex because it is a shady and scammy exchange.
1796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rotchilds and Wallestreet stopping the market rise ? on: May 31, 2018, 07:14:09 AM
you are trying to come up with a conspiracy theory but the fact is that there is no incentive for them to do this and also there are bigger whales in bitcoin that a new person or group wanting to come in would be considered a small fish unless they spend a couple of millions over a long period of time because they need to get in first and buy from the rest of us.

not to mention that price of bitcoin will eventually rise back up like it always does after a bear market period ends.
as for altcoins I disagree with what you said, they should NOT rise anytime soon. a lot of them need to get dumped a lot more before they can be considered "out of a bubble"
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The New Strategy: claming which bitcoin is the first? on: May 31, 2018, 06:48:07 AM
this is not an "strategy" and it certainly is not new way of begging for attention.

from early days there has always been only one thing: bitcoin, then they started adding some bullshit name after it and claiming their shitcoin is better: bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, bitcoin core, ... are all the same  bullshit.
they have also always created some shitcoin with a different name and then claimed it is better than bitcoin to pump it for a short time before it gets dumped hard and dies: Dash, Ripple, Paycoin, Ethereum, ...
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Article] 10 Reasons Why Cryptocurrency Isn't Mainstream Yet on: May 31, 2018, 05:48:11 AM
the only major reason that is keeping bitcoin back from everything has always been FUD in my opinion. there is a lot of lies, misinformation, exaggeration, false scary stuff online and generally in the media. and when people are constantly exposed to negativity they  are going to be programmed to be negative towards bitcoin. and we all love FUD because it helps us make money by buying the dips so we are also to blame.
we have seen this last year with evidence that whenever some big undeniable proof against these FUDs come out the adoption explodes to the moon. and this was Japan adopting bitcoin as a legal way of payment or a legal currency.
1799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax Time is Here and Lots of Cryptocurrency Holders Don’t Care on: May 31, 2018, 05:34:20 AM
I see it going both ways, on one hand, crypto is beautiful in a way that no government regulates it's movement. However, if crypto gains/losses are taxed, that means governments are recognizing it as a viable means of currency.

the government is taking tax on your "gains". gains on what? on your fiat that you invested in cryptocurrencies. in fact in some countries if you are not invest in in bitcoin then the government will not take any taxes from you. you can have 10000BTC and spend it freely in Japan without paying any taxes on your purchases. so in a way it is regulated.
1800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized and Decentralized on: May 31, 2018, 05:25:26 AM
Centralized and Decentralized each have advantages and disavantages depend where is to be used, but for me decentralized more better than centralized, my reason are very simple, mostly we are here to learning  about how to earning, maybe with trading or follow the bounty hunters ICO ,thats all is work on cryptocurrency platform, and cryptocurrency is one of decentralized product. CMIIW

what you say doesn't really make much sense. you can't really compare centralized with  decentralized like this and say one is better than the other. for example a decentralized bank doesn't even make sense but a  centralized bank (what we simply call banks) are good and trusted and we used them and have money with them. on the other hand a centralized bitcoin doesn't make any sense either, it must be decentralized to be worth anything.

and regarding "earning" that is what you do not everyone else. earning should be your secondary goal if you understand what a currency is!
