Does that mean the benefit of the doubt should be given to those that seem to be suffering from the "Kelvin De Bruyne" syndrome?  Grin

Quick forum search in Nigeria (Naija) section says that majority knows the word idea (dozens of results) and there is one person who uses the word ideal instead. But it proves nothing this way I guess.

I'm not sure about that one. Based on the phrasing, it's possible that both "idea" and "ideal" could fit semantically in the sentence mentioned. "Idea" typically refers to a concept or thought, while "ideal" refers to something perfect or optimal. So, when he said "the ideal of stable coins emerged after Bitcoin was created to solve issues related to volatility," even though "idea" seems like a better fit, "ideal" could also work in this context.

The martyns web of connections seem to increase the more his account is looked in to. I wonder if it will be a more prolific farming ring than what figmentofmyass was operating.

You are right, as far as I can recall by far the majority of the sold/hacked accounts do get some sort of tag. I feel probably both negative and neutral tags in this case will not be heavily contested even by most of those that have previously felt some form of pity for martyns.

I wonder what comments others will make about your strategy because it effectively means a blanket ban for buying/selling accounts and dismisses by default any notion of mitigation (and any sympathy along with it). Will account sales ever be accepted, I doubt it but there could be exceptional circumstances we have not contemplated yet.
It's basically what DT has done with sold or hacked accounts in the past. Not a ban but a negative trust. So yes, people can buy / sell accounts but it will get tagged.
I believe once a sold or hacked account has been detected, there's a 99% chance, that the account will get tagged, if there is sufficient proof.
However, I'm always giving everyone the benefit of doubt.
For the case here of martyns, I've only submitted a neutral trust so far but I might change it into negative, considering his lies and involvement in other abuses. The negative trusts on his accounts are very valid.
And it's quite funny that sold or hacked accounts are often involved in various abuses, isn't it?
Maybe account buyers aren't so innocent as suggested here by a few members...
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: April 29, 2023, 09:51:03 AM
These are the games taking place today:

Crystal Palace vs West Ham United
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

If Brentford and Brighton win today they will both remain in the hunt for a Europa League position and that is very good progress considering the clubs are relatively small in comparison to the Premier League giants. As for West Ham, they continue to pull away from the relegation zone and also Crystal Palace have improved immensely since they sacked their manager Vieira.

The remaining games for Arsenal are like these:

- Chelsea (H)
- Newcastle (A)
- Brighton (H)
- Nottingham (A)
- Wolves (H)

Technically all of the games are quite winnable except the one against Newcastle. Because Newcastle are in a very solid shape these days. They started to obtain very big victories when we take their last five league games into account. Arsenal couldn't win against them in Emirates either. This makes me think like Arsenal are quite probable to have a point loss in this one.

However even if Arsenal win all of the rest of their games it is still too difficult for them to win the PL title indeed. Manchester City don't have any concentration issues while competing for 2 big titles at the same time - PL and CL. Their having 2 missing games is making things easier for them to take the lead soon. I will still be appreciating Arsenal's huge effort and it'll be lovely to watch them in the CL next season.
Arsenal had the chance to take the Premier League title, maybe they still can do it Manchester City slip up. They dropped too many points recently as they felt the pressure and basically could not handle it.

I expect Newcastle United to beat Arsenal but do expect them to also drop points against Brighton too.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: April 29, 2023, 07:40:07 AM
Back when Abramovich was the Chelsea owner, he would regularly fire managers every season or two and the squad's performance has stayed mostly intact for most of his tenure. So clearly, the manager run-in is not the problem. The problem is with the players that are chosen to start together. Chelsea plays a 3-4-2-1 so if you're not starting players who are good in that system, of course shit will hit the fan.
Chelsea have had that many starting formations over the past season that we all have lost count. They brought in too many players during the time the new owners came in and I think it backfired. The new owners won over the fans by splashing the cash and showing their intent but is all simply backfired. Owners bringing in players without the consent or advice of the manager is a recipe for disaster and that is why they pushed Tuchel out. Sacking Tuchel did not help even though many of the players gave up on playing for him.

I see people blaming it on the lack of strikers, the lack of a good defense and stuff like that. And that's horseshit because they've signed good players like Mudryk, Koulibaly, Felix, hell even Gallagher is good as long as you play him properly. You can't just buy anyone you like and expect them to just fit in the system.
The system definitely is/was flawed but good players always find a way to at least to an acceptable level. I cannot foot all the blame with Potter because in the end the players go out there and perform but Potter was never the right man for the job, the club was too big for him and his lack of experience showed.

Felix and Mudryk, they have not really performed but you can put it down to the moving to a new country and new league but they cannot have an excuse next season.

A complete and total breakdown of tactical play is why they are struggling to win games big time, and I don't see that just changing overnight next season. Which is bad for them, because they risk becoming another Spurs.
They have to sell most of the excess squad and get back to basics. Once their new manager is announced (and it looks like Todd Boehly has managed to talk Mauricio Pochettino in to becoming their manager and they have a verbal agreement), things will change. If the rumours are true, they will make a bid to buy Kane from his ex-club Tottenham.

1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: April 28, 2023, 09:41:59 PM
I don't understand what people think Chelsea could change with the arrival of lampard, I see a lot of criticism about him.
I would say a lot of the criticism is justified, after all if he cannot even get desired results then he is the one who has to answer the fans, the owners and the media about the failure. He failed with Chelsea twice as manager and also failed at Everton. He had success at Derby as manager but he quit his job just as they were on the verge of a return to the Premier League via the play-offs and the irony is if he had stayed maybe he would been offered the Chelsea job a few years down the line and it could have all turned out very differently.

Still, I think Arsenal's accomplishments should be acknowledged and next couple of years seem bright for them.
Arsenal definitely have potential that cannot be denied but they still did not win anything this season. I am not confident they will challenge next season on multiple fronts such as the Premier League and Champions League but full credit to them for pushing Manchester City right to the end in the Premier League.

Here are the results from the games played on 27th April 2023:

Everton 1-4 Newcastle United
Southampton 0-1 Bournemouth
Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 Manchester United

Here are the results from the games played on 26th April 2023:

Nottingham Forest 3-1 Brighton and Hove Albion
Chelsea 0-2 Brentford
West Ham United 1-2 Liverpool
Manchester City 4-1 Arsenal

Arsenal may have lost the title already but their accomplishments this season should not be ignored.
Arsenal will finish second in the table and Manchester City will end up as premier champions again. They did well this season but will they keep up momentum next season?

@JollyGood what an embarrassment Lampard’s appointment is turning out to be, and I won’t be surprised if he’s sacked soon now because how much longer can the board allow him to embarrass the club. Furthermore Manchester City won a huge game, however I won’t say it’s all over for Arsenal just yet because if City player’s get over confident then Arsenal can yet find their way back provided they start winning matches again.
Even if Arsenal end up winning games they will have to rely on Manchester City to drop points. It is highly unlikely Arsenal will win the Premier League this season.

As for Lampard, what a disastrous career he had and has as Chelsea manager but the owners will not sack him because he was only there as temporary/interim manager until the end of the season. They have 6 games remaining, it makes sense to allow him to see those games out and then allow a new manager to come in pre-season. It is somewhat sad the first tenure and now the second tenure of Lampard as Chelsea manager has been a massive failure when you take in to consideration the record he has as Chelsea manager.
1810  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discussion on buying/selling accounts/users actively seeking possible bought acc on: April 28, 2023, 12:02:11 AM
A high ranked account is only bought for the following reasons:
- perform a scam
One type scam not really discussed in the forum is the number of sold accounts that end up receiving loans and then defaulting and allowing the account to receive negative trust. Is something like that even happening regularly?

But as long as we don't have a working strategy to "legalize" account sales, it's best in my opinion to give out negative trust if there's enough evidence about sold / hacked accounts.

If we are talking numbers and it is just a conservative guess, how many accounts in the farm do you think are operated by the martyns puppeteer?

So, I've taken an aggressive approach on the subject.

I've updated my trust list, btw.
I look forward to reading your updated trust list but the problem without having consensus on the issue (in other words by having a case-by-case basis in matters such as these) you will always find those who agree and those who disagree with a particular stance.

It is official, the first ever all-Manchester FA Cup final will be played on 3rd June 2023 at 3pm. A usual the FA Cup final will take place at Wembley Stadium.

The odds have to be on favour of Manchester City to win but Manchester United will try their best to stop their neighbours winning. It will be an interesting match to watch  Grin

With what i'm seeing in the premier league after the first game so far today,Some big teams will find it difficult to get to the top this season, imagine Liverpool drawing Fulham in their first game of the season, this really surprised me because Liverpool's odd against Fulham was very small, but they ended up seeing a draw, and I must confess the way Fulham played today,if they can continue in this kind of form,I think they will surprise people this season.
Totthenham won their first game as well as their bitterest rival Arsenal who broke their every first match jink yesterday with a 2-0 convincing win.The pressure was much on Crystal palace that they scored an own goal.
The premier league game opening is a little bit tough for big team like Liverpool that narks out a draw against Fulham, although the results isn't a better one for Jurgen Klopp as he needs to tops the table presently, afterall there would be enough teams that are willingly to compete for the new season. Games results were battling and brilliant to some extent, like Tottenham trashing Southampton 4 goals to 1, Fulham drawing Liverpool 2-2. Chelsea managing to beat Everton 1 nil. I really enjoyed every bit of the premier league.

Zidane is set to manage PSG next season according to reports.Zidane is seen as one of the best coaches in the world, and PSG has suffered incompetency in the aspect of the coaches that manage the club, considering the high profile players at the club.Lionel Messi,Neymar and Mbape are three big recognised names in the club, and yet, they are unable to win the champions league, therefore,it is understood that if a good coach like Zidane should manage the team, there is every possiblity that PSG will win the Champions league.PSG were not able to reach the final of the Uefa champions league final last season, and all were narrowed down to the incompetency of the manager.
Zidane will bring a new dimension of football to the club, and I believe his tenure will be the best.
Zidane is considered as an experienced coach, who can probably take PSG to the Champions League final, and possibly make them lift the Champions League trophy. Yes, we all expected them to struggle for the title last season since they had one of the strongest squad. But, Unfortunately they couldn't. Although, Zidane will have to introduce a new strategy that will enable them to resist other tough teams which they might encounter next season, and also help them in win consistently in their games.

You guys will find more posts like this. I am not sure how campaign managers sees this but that's for definitely not the right way to use the forum. Clearly they are doing anything for the sake of earning money.

Who knows maybe in dire need of money they can use one account to escrow and on other one to start the deal and then scam. That's one account gone and then go to next one.

Some of these accounts have been neutral marked by JollyGood for gap in history and there has been once instance where lovesmyfamilis has poked him too at his attempt to get into campaign by increasing merit count on the application post.

My opinion: I think this is a big alt ring, Martyns is just a piece and there could be lot more. Right now my impression is that he just wants to earn as much as from signature campaigns and therefore he posts every chance he gets. Even if there is none, he creates one. I mean look at the address: https://explorer.btc.com/btc/address/33GPgbaJuSaMyBo8tuhe6HhRunptrE8xVS , there is 0.166BTC (approx $4,800) being moved to that wallet. That's not how forum is intended to be used. Is it?

In addition to that, the one I have my suspicion on has been part of the campaign for 100 weeks and believe me its a good paying campaign as I have been part of that earlier. There are some more (including 1xbit one I mentioned above) but its based on just not much strong links I guess but I am still digging on those.

Everyone should be given chance to explain themselves so I asking @blackened515, @LordHermes and @omgitsmehehe to post here to explain the situation here and will see how the community sees this.

What happens if a ban evader has several high ranking alt-accounts and uses them to support the ban evaders application for having the ban overturned? Even if it not related to a scam, surely in that scenario action should taken across all accounts if they are discovered.

I want to clarify if I'm not supporting ban evader, but I don't know why you can think the account will cause a further harm to the forum. It's more like your own assumption rather than being objective about what he had done in this forum.

Aston Villa defeated Fulham 1-0 to go to fifth place. Totteham is currently in sixth place, and tomorrow they must dig their own grave.
Look at how well Aston Villa have performed ever since Gerrard was sacked and Emery replaced him as manager. As for Tottenham, seriously though what is going on with them?

Erikson was a key man in the team, but he was sold for a reason I can't even tell.
I cannot be sure but I believe Eriksen wanted another challenge because Tottenham had reached a peak and could not progress including losing the Champions League final to Liverpool therefore he moved on to Inter Milan (I believe). After that there was the sad incident when he collapsed on the field.

Since he recovered and started playing again, he has been instrumental in the recovery road that Manchester United have been on while at the same time Tottenham have shown glimpses of brilliance but again are struggling to chase the pack for a top four finish to the season.

Here are the games taking place this evening:

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Chelsea vs Brentford
West Ham United vs Liverpool
Manchester City vs Arsenal

I'm mobile getting ready for my procedure but while reading some replies I started wondering why people seek out some of these accounts?
I know this is somewhat off-topic but I never knew you were going to have a new procedure and if there was a thread (or comments) about it, I missed it/them. The last I read about your health was in your extensive thread which was later locked.

I wish you success and good health  Smiley

I feel like so much time is probably wasted by users finding accounts that potentially did nothing but were bought. Eyes should be more focused on bigger things IMO. Buying accounts to me is nothing.
You have a point but maybe when members are searching for scams, scammers or suspicious behaviour that these sorts of account farmings are discovered and made available to members.

If there's no scam why bother though.
Again you have a point but that is where difference of opinion comes in to play. As of yet there is no real single instruction from the forum admins or theymos about how to deal with such a scenario.
1818  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discussion on buying/selling accounts/users actively seeking possible bought acc on: April 26, 2023, 10:46:22 AM
Why does the forum need users who cannot grow on their own, but resort to such methods? A forum's account is history, it is status, it is reputation, it is knowledge, and all this should be assigned to only one user and should not be transferred somehow.
The forum does not need them but it is them that need the forum therefore they purchase and trade accounts in the hunt for bounty and signature campaigns.

Should all accounts be tagged that are guilty of or presumed bought? Is a neutral tag appropriate for accounts that are bought that have no reputation, or should accounts be ruined period?
I told you in the other thread. Who commits a crime does not change the typology of the crime. Giving different penalties depending on who commits the misconduct goes against the fundamental principles of law.

All this is stirred up by someone who not only bought an account, but is a ban evader and willingly participated in advertising a known scam site.

Being from a poor country and getting away with buying an account is a comparative aggravation against your compatriots from poor countries who do not take the fast track and with their effort little by little rank up the account.
What would happen if say for example the forum had an open policy of accepting with open arms those that buy and sell accounts. Surely the quality of posting would drop further from what it already has and not only that, it would most probably increase the number of posts (most of which would be nonsensical incoherent ramblings) being made in order to meet the minimum character criteria to earn the weekly fee.

But the recent change of ownership and a blatant lie—look how Martyns writes about his brother— The fact that he died was not announced immediately. He corrected this, realizing that we would ask the brother. And also ignoring and subsequently lying about another blocked account—doesn't that deserve a negative tag? Does anyone here like to look like an idiot for believing this?
He has no choice but to present lie after lie because he wanted to protect the account from neutral and/or negative feedback. To that degree he just kept fabricating stories and we do not know what the truth is or was about him.

Forgetting about the banned BlackViruse account for a moment, martyns never posted a reply about his alleged connections forum members merintishidup and dreamsnight. It would be interesting to read what he has to say.

In addition, if someone buys someone else's account, he must understand that one day a ray of suspicion will be directed at him. If someone was Indonesian from the very beginning, why go to another locale?
If at that point of suspicion other members decide that the suspect has contributed enormously towards the forum then he might get away from being tagged at all however that does not send the best signal to others as they can try to use that same defence when trying to protect their traded accounts from being tagged.

After all, when a particular member (now a campaign manager) was accused of having purchased his account several years ago and a thread was opened to discuss him, he ended up being defended by several members. There is no consistency in the way DT and DT members approach this matter. If the forum policy is simple as purchased/traded account = negative tag then it is settled and there is nothing else to discuss but when it comes to being subjective and opinionated about whether exceptions should be made or whether mitigation should be considered on a case by case basis, we end up having disagreements.

As a result, I think that each case and each bought and caught account deserves separate consideration. When a person thinks people are idiots, the red tag fits well with his reputation.
Fair enough but that would again make it subjective. One member may feel a negative tag is warranted/justified but another member may feel a neutral or none is appropriate and then we all go back to same point debating the subject all over again.

These are the games taking place today:

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Crystal Palace
Aston Villa vs Fulham
Leeds United vs Leicester City

These are the results from the games played on Sunday 23rd April 2023:

Bournemouth 0-4 West Ham United
Newcastle United 6-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Newcastle United gave a very harsh lesson to Tottenham as they sit in 3rd place. Tottenham will probably miss out on automatic qualification for the Champions League and leave it Manchester United and Newcastle United to battle it out for 3rd and 4th place finishes to the season.

West Ham took a massive step to safety with a big win away at Bournemouth but they can still mathematically be dragged in to the relegation zone.

I was sure I posted about these results before but upon a second look I had to re-write the post because it was not there
