Big jump in hash rate since I last checked, and a big drop in active nodes . People have moved coins where they need to be and settling in to wait...
MoneroBlocks was offline for a few days. Therefore, also keeping in mind that they most likely had to restart their daemon, it is probably not seeing all the (full) nodes yet. This geomap shows a relatively stable node count: https://monerobase.com/geomap/I was citing monerohash.com which is still showing 880 range. Monerobase.com is 11xx, which is what I had expected to see (if not higher, with the hashing jump).

I'm gonna go ahead and call it:-
Monero to have a $2 billion market cap by 1st November (11/01/2017).
... So, yeah, just about a 3X spike from here to hit $2B market cap would be nothing too hard. Actually it may be "easy" even IF bitcoin doesn't crash and burn like this: fucking Dash(LOL) is still holding over $150? XMR oughta be well past it too, actually... Could be achieved on the back on bitcoin alone without too much trouble, if BTC resumes its ascent in time.

It will take some time to attract the chinese to the XMR forum on 8BTC and build a community, meanwhile some further updates will improve the usability. It is just important to start and I think it is a good way to let XMR grow in China.
https://monerohash.com/nodes-distribution.htmlalready 48 Chinese nodes as it seems I think nodes more tells us where Moneros are mined then whee are used. But yes this is only data we could use to see where are most Monero users. But if we just stop at miners, 4% of Moneros being mined in China is a bit low. There should be more in Japan and India also. Being active on such forums, that are tech and crypto foums, will for sure get us more miners from China. Active nodes are not necessarily miners. BTW - 1148 as I type - new ATH as far as I have seen. 1149 in a few seconds, as I update mine ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Shit tried to open another long @ 0.01870491 but polo didn't post it and then it started going up too fast. Damn it.
HAH, turned out to be a good thing price is down to 0.01856886. Hmm m0ar or keep the margin in the 90's? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Goddamn Polo it keeps saying my margin is placed but the damn thing never gets on the books. 0.01850003 didn't think I'd see that again. Shit price is really getting depressed today. Wonder if peops are running to fiat cause btc downward progress. Can't begin to guess this market. But everything points to growth. Yesterday I saw 1129 active nodes. Double digits wasn't that long ago.

MOnero is not moving beyond 0.02 btc range.I invest in monero and was expecting it price to rise but it has proved to be a bad investment for me till now.Seems I have to hold relly long to make profit
This is mainly caused by BOTNETS, which mine monero (it seems that about 30-35% of the entire monero network hashate - botnets). These fa**s increase net difficulty on 25-35% just within few hours. They sell a large amount of xmr and holding price in the range of 0.017-0.018btc And Devs do not do anything ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) mining emission does not change. Drops every couple of minutes...

1096 active nodes (highest I've observed). HR rising. Exchange action stagnating. Powder keg?

Icebreaker Stop to come to mess the forum digibyte because personally I am not fan of monero and I do not like it. But I do not come to make jealousies like a child ... I will come 4 times a day on the forum monero to invent problems like you made me.
OOOHHH!! That'll show him! ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Ignore is a feature on this forum. Use it.

I memeber that day when XMR hit 0.025 there was more than 150k XMR available on lending market (just few weeks ago). Then next day, just a minute after the big dump deep below 0.02 I've checked again and there was around 100k XMR missing from there (around 60k XMR only). Now I would actually like to see more coins on lending market because it adds up to XMR liquidity, but current shortage (only 35k atm) probably comes from the lack of confidence in holding too many coins on Poloniex cos they had to many issues over past few months. Right now there are 44k traders online, back in 2016 there was below 10k users online, now if you let 100 people jump in the bus made for 50 people - you get a broken bus full of pissed off people That's whats happening to Poloniex right now, and could be the main reason for lack in liquidity and increased volatility in all markets there, not only XMR. Example: 0.0015% 18745.91379309 2-14 Days That is the reason there are not more XMR for rent on Poloniex. Ludicrous.

Except Coinbase is totally fucked right now. I would advise anyone to not use their service. If you have any issue with your account you will be waiting weeks or months for a response from support. They are too busy spending money on facebook ads to hire personnel or make improvements to the website/ backend. (Website was down several times yesterday.) Maybe things will improve in the coming months but for now Monero doesn't need them to be successful. Its way undervalued and if you don't own some of these coins in a few years you are going to regret it. I would be very surprised if XMR wasn't $100 by this time next year. Monero is the GNU Linux of the Crypto world. It doesn't need ads or corporate sponsors. Hard work and good code will prevail over time. This is a long-term project.
At some point coinbase had 50000 new accounts made per day. So I am sure that times were hectic. I woudl expect that on any exchange actually. But those most popular have biggest activity spikes. One of those is also Poloniex. If it will go like this we will see soon constantly over 100k people online on Poloniex. And this soon might happen really soon if Bitcoin will keep getting new ATHs. About Monero, I said long long time ago that when price reach $50 I will sell 10% of my Moneros and when price doubles so is $100 another 10% and at $200 next 10%. Now price reach $50 two times in almost a week and I classically did nothing What should I buy for that 10% BTC? Gold? Chilean farming land? The Dip.

We don't murder scammers, okay?
Well...gee...okaaaay, I guess. But is it technically really murder? I think it's like coyotes and gophers... Sort of a do what you want policy, to reduce the pest level.

Washing the truck is always rather suspicious.
I don't trust anyone who washes vehicles. I let the dirt build up and then it usually comes off like a complete second skin when I have my next car crash. My latest was with a sheep. I won. I would feel really bad if I crashed into a sheep. The sheep would feel worse though. A wet sheep with soap on it should do wonders if you hit it a few times...

What do you guys think?
What crypto-currency have wallet on phone ? A real one -with backup & restore & official support ... not a backdoor to a VIRTUAL wallet hosted on exchange. You can not pay a person with ALTS. You can not start a business with ALTS. ALTS are good to trade and it's an hoover for FIAT money (good, because Bitcoin is the last step after trading ALTS). Bitcoin is a vault for 100 years. http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-nanosatellites-orbit-earth-2016/Can you run a full node (bitcoin) on a smartphone? I thought Monero was the only coin to achieve that to date... Why can't you pay with alts? I can. I've done it here and there for several years.

All the candles from the one hour out to the last 6 hour are green. Just sayin'
For me it is just funny how nearly everbody overlooked the Paxos/Bank news, which are huge. I think the fact that big european banks like Citi will use their blockchain which incorporates XMR technology is very bullish and speaks a lot about how good the tech is and could help with XMR adoptation and further software development. XMR has a great future, a trolling action more or less wont change that. I still don't get what banks will achieve by incorporating decentralized permissionless ledger into a centralized company. It seems a burdensome database that would be hard to 'cook the books'. How well could they secure it?

I'm personally still trying to digest all of this and figure out what it means, long term, and FWIW, I HAVE NOT SOLD ANY OF MY XMR (yet?) DUE TO THIS... But ONE THING is for DAMN sure... People Are Going To Be Talking About This For YEARS...! This too, shall pass. I might occasionally buy high, but I sure as hell don't sell low
