1901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 20, 2022, 05:23:38 AM
And its happened again today , and the next big Club is out of the DFB Cup !
Hannover 96 has surprised and won against Gladbach in the Cup with 3 scored Goals , very disappointed what Gladbach playes right now.
Guess if they keep playing this , its only a matter of time when the Coach will be kicked out.

It was also pretty shocking to me how poorly Gladbach was performing yesterday. The managed to kicked out FC Bayern in the round before in a extremely convincing way just to deliver such a poor performance in the next round against a team that is only on the 12th place in the second Bundesliga. Somehow Gladbach is just not able to show their true potential for a few games in a row, which is really weird. As you already said, if they continue to play like this they will sooner or later have to fire their coach. For me Leipzig and Freiburg and now big favorites to reach the final of DFB Pokal and Union Berlin also has a chance.
1902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Don't Use Brave Browser on: January 20, 2022, 05:19:39 AM
Most of us know and use Brave Browser, a leading browser application, a pure example of a web3.0 application with monthly 50 million active users. Brave brings a new model of the web browser in the internet media. Users can now easily use the browser without seeing the ads and also can uniquely tip the creators, but I consider some reasons that cause me not to use the browser.
Reasons:
I do not doubt that Brave made an excellent model of web 3.0 but they should update their system to lunch it globally. Many content creators from all around the world have a basic plan for revenue-generating from the ads, and I think the Brave browser creates a large barrier between the users and creators.
The whole thing is only my point of view, I might be wrong but I followed many youtube channels and bloggers that run from my country, where ads revenue is low, now if I used the Brave browser it will not grateful to them.

I switched to the Brave Browser a few months ago and so far i am pretty happy with it. I really like the ad-filter that is already implemented in it natively. That someone that you follow is not yet accepting tips via the brave browser is not really the fault of the browser itself in my opinion. You could contact that person to let him know about that feature of brave if you want to change that. I am from Germany and i get ads from the brave browser pretty regularly i have to say. So far i have made around 40 BAT with it, but i have not even looked at how i would cash them out or something because i mainly use brave because i like the browser.
1903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 19, 2022, 05:15:49 PM

PSG were always the best team in France. What they were lacking was the recognition of being the best in Europe - which comes by winning the Champions League. We can say by their transfers that they want to win the Champions League so bad. Buying Messi, Ramos, Wijnaldum or Donarumma. Specially buying Messi.
But it will be quite hard for them as their front trio are still does not having the chemistry needed in order for them to win.

I don't follow the french league 1 that closely but i am pretty sure that PSG was not always the best team in France. I remember quite well in the early 2000's that Olympique Lyon was the strongest team in France and they even managed to reach the quarterfinals and i think even once the semi-finals of the champions league. That were the times where they still had Juninho in their squad. Paris became strong once the sheikh decided to aquire PSG and pump a lot of money into it. They are just another toy-club of a super rich guy. Since then they won the french league almost every year, but before that there were by far not the strongest team of the league.
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 19, 2022, 05:10:24 PM
There has been so many YouTube influencers and other folks predicting to buy certain altcoins for huge profit and once the Bitcoin dropped down thus send a shockwave across altcoins we don't see people or influencer coming up with their favorite list of altcoins with the kind of confidence which they showed when market was green.

This is the right time to pick invest into altcoins which didn't got expected pump during the bullrun yet posses the potential, I want you guys to share your opinion on altcoins which we should invest.

Though I am not a big fan of XRP but I would prefer XRP and ADA to invest now at dip. 70% investment would be into ADA and 30% into XRP.

First of all i would never buy a coin or project just because an influencer says so. In the end all those influencers have just one goal, to increase their own wealth. Usually they are able to buy into new projects in the private sale or even in the seed sale which means they can buy the tokens for a price that is below the listing price. Then of course they are shilling that project like crazy and once the project is listed they dump their tokens on their followers. Always do research for yourself. If we are really going into a full bear market then i think it is a good opportunity to buy the big and established projects like Ethereum or Solana for example.
1905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 19, 2022, 11:56:51 AM
Damn , i just have seen the DFB Cup results now from yesterday and what a surprise win from FC St. Pauli at home against Dortmund.
The next big Team is with that out of the Cup and a strange game between Cologne and Hamburg.
Just watched the review of this game and the last penalty for Cologne was not given, because the player shot himself the ball on the leg and then into the goal , Lol  Cheesy

Yeah i was also completely surprised about the result of that game as Dortmund was the huge favorite before the start of the match. St. Pauli had a great start though and was leading with 2-0 pretty quickly. Of course Dortmund created a lot of pressure after that because they desperately needed to win because the DFB Pokal was probably the only realistic title chance that they still had until yesterday. They only managed to get one penalty out of that 60 minutes of pressure though and that was simply not enough. The chances to win the cup for the remaining teams have drastically increased now. If Leipzig advances today, then they are the favorite for me to win it this year.
1906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC flips Tether on the Ethereum network on: January 19, 2022, 11:53:29 AM
Not on other network but on ethereum network, USDC which is also a stable coin, its marketcap surpass that of USDT on ethereum blockchain.

https://news.marketcap.com/usdc-flips-tether-on-the-ethereum-network/

That is not that big of a surprise to me to be honest, because there are rumors around USDT for a few years now. It basically all began once the company behind USDT changed their wording regarding the backing of every USDT minted back in 2019. First they always said they have enough money to back every USDT to "we have enough reserves to back every USDT minted". The problem is no one can verify if those reserves really exist and in what form they exist. USDC on the other hand is created by coinbase which is an US based company and therefore audited regularly. So we can be pretty sure that every USDC is still backed by a real USD.
1907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 18, 2022, 03:02:58 PM
These two teams are regular, very strong. But the Manchester United and PSG teams are strong enough though irregular. The PSG team has a lot of star players. Although their performance is irregular, they are not weak. Their main weakness is their match-strategy. If Zidane takes over as PSG coach, the PSG team will become stronger.

Really Zidane would be a great asset for PSG. But I have some doubts that he will accept to join the project in the middle of the season.

What makes Man City and Bayern, is the consistency they have. They have almost the same players for 2 or 3 years, with no major changes in the squad. This helps players get to know each other well, and in turn have incredible regularity.

It's definitely true that Zidane would probably be a good option for Paris as he is a frenchman and already won some big titles. That being said, i am still not so sure yet if Zidane is really that great of a coach. Yes he was extremely successful with Real Madrid but at that time Real still had Cristiano Ronaldo at his best age and i would guess that back then Zidane did not have much coaching to do in terms of tactics and stuff but he only needed to keep his stars happy. I think other coaches like Pep Guardiola or Thomas Tuchel for example have already proven that they can make any team better by introducing new tactics and formations and stuff. Zidane still has to prove that.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 18, 2022, 02:51:38 PM
What is your market expectations this 2022? Here is what I believe will happen, we will see more dips than price surge this year and that will happen because we have many more crypto believers now, if we are in 2019 now we would have been in a heavy bear market already, as time goes on there will also be more sell than buying and bears will get their powers back

I think that we probably will be in a sideways or even a slight downward market for another months or two, maybe three at most. Then i hope and think that the prices of the big projects like Bitcoin begin to climb again slowly but surely, afterwards it usually takes a few weeks or a months again until the smaller cap gems begin to climb too. There are also people out there and here in this forum that say the real bear market is still to come because of what happened back in the beginning in 2018, but i don't think that just because the massive bear market came back then that it also has to come again this time. The market is much more mature now in my opinion.
1909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2022, 12:06:32 PM

A team cannot win if they only have one great player. If you look at this Barca squad, the only star players I can see are Busquets, Pique and Depay. Of them, the former two have aged.
So even if they bring Haaland, he alone can't only do so much. They have a very young midfield who won't be able to serve Haaland the way he gets the supply in Dortmund. Even his career might also get wasted if he joins FCB at the moment.

Well i don't think anyone expects Barcelona to win any major title in the next few years because even their most loyal and enthusiastic fans have to acknowledge that this is just very hard to achieve with the current squad that they have and it is also not possible to buy a few great players that can instantly increase the quality of the squad because of the 1,3 Billion € of debts that Barca has. They now need to develop young players again themself and make them into great players, barca has already proven several times that they are able to do that, but of course this needs time. They have Xavi as their coach now which is also a great choice for that task. Still, no one should expect Barca to be winning any titles in the next 4-5 years or so.
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do I feel as though I don't have enough knowledge of Crypto? on: January 18, 2022, 12:01:49 PM
My Crypto journey started about 4 years now, but I have been on and off due to fear, unbelieve and complacency. But I fully decided to take it serious towards mid last year. And I must confess, I am loving the experience and my regret is not starting much earlier when I had the opportunity.
I have learnt a couple of things about cryptocurrency from personal research online and also from this forum (btw, this forum has really been helpful). Despite what I think I know, sometimes, I still feel as though I know nothing.
I would really like to know more. If there's anyone willing to help out with where to get a thorough and extensive information about cryptocurrency in general, I will very much appreciate it.
M

I think it is almost impossible to keep up to date about every interesting project or hype and trend that appears in the crypto space there is just too much going on each and every day. There are already at least a few dozens of those sh*it-coins (meme-coins) that are appearing every day, but i would say it is not worth the time and energy to keep yourself informed about meme-coins. Then we currently have the trend of metaverse projects, the first few ones were very successful so far in terms of ROI for early investors therefore now we have a lot of copycat projects too that want to make a quick buck by riding the current hype. I think it is impossible to stay up to date about everything that is going on. Focus on on topic that you are interested in and try to inform yourself.
1911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2022, 10:19:18 AM
New rumours about Adam Hlozek. FC Bayern & Dortmund have contacted Sparta Prague. Adam Hlozek is 19 years old and is currently  the Czech Republic's greatest talent (market value € 19,000,000). He is also a national player. For FC Bayern he can only be a substitute, for Dortmund a replacement for Haaland? Would make more sense. Maybe they can had him for €25,000,000 and if Haaland leaves, there's €75,000,000 in the pocket, so it's an easy deal.

I think it could make sense for Bayern to sign Hlozek and i also read about this rumor the first time a few weeks ago. I mean of course he would not have a starting position right away at Bayern Munich but his first 1 or 2 years at Bayern could be used to increase his times on the field gradually and then afterwards, once Lewandowski is gone he can be the number 1 striker at Bayern. Also there are always rumors about Lewandowski that he wants to leave Bayern again after this season in order to be able to play at least once in England or Spain in his career. So if that would be the case then Hlozek would be needed right away at Bayern.
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 18, 2022, 10:09:25 AM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding

Of course it doesn't hurt to have 100k Shiba, because it never hurts to hold an asset, but if i would have to make a decision what i should buy with my 2,8 $ (which is the value of 100k Shiba), then i would definitely not pick Shiba Inu as my project that i want to invest in. The reason for that is quite simple, it's a sh*it-coin which offers no utility at all to it's users and it's price movement is solely based on hype and the truth is, that the hype for meme-coins is slowly but surely fading away. There will definitely be some price spikes here and there but i am pretty sure that the general trend for Shiba Inu (and all other sh*it-coins) is going downwards.
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 17, 2022, 09:45:19 AM
Change back in F1.
From next year they will go back on old free practice.

They increase again the duration from 60 to 90 minutes while in 2021 it has been decreased from 90 to 60.

Don't think is a good move I liked more the 60-minute version, however this year with new cars they probably need these 30 minutes for session back.

To be honest, those changes are not that important to me because i never really watched the free practices that closely because especially in the FP1 there is not much happening and the times that the drivers and teams achieve there don't mean much. So this may be an important change for the teams in order to make sure that their new car is tested as much as possible for each track, but for the spectators on TV and the bettors it's not really that important. I do like though that in 2022 there are also 6 sprint qualifying planned which are supposed to happen in the first half of the racing season. I think those are a nice little alternation of the usual racing weekend.
1914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 17, 2022, 09:39:02 AM
Now that we are in 2022 is 100k per BTC still possible? It seems no one is talking about this price anymore and now BTC is fighting at the 40k range, what do you think could still happen? Also it seems like altcoins have no high chances again unless BTC do the impossible

Well at the moment we are in a phase of correction or even in a small bear market, before that we had almost 1 year of permanent growth so it's not really that surprising that, phases like the one we are experiencing now have to come sooner or later. During bear markets BTC is probably the coin that suffers the least from price drops in comparison to other projects. I own mostly small cap and new projects and my portfolio is down 90% in comparison to the beginning of May 2021. So i would say bitcoin is doing quite well in compared to that. Once another bull market begins i think that 100k for one BTC are not that far away.
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 16, 2022, 02:54:03 PM
For some reason, I like VP @1.70 vs NAVI this is the last game for NAVI and even though VP still has another series this is basically their best chance to get their fourth win since their last match would be against Team Spirit. In some way, this is like a tiebreaker between third and fourth place but i'm leaning on VP to win since they look slightly better than NAVI. I also think the over should hit but i'm not too confident on it since all it takes is one outdraft.

I also think that Virtus Pro should win this series as they are just the stronger team overall in my opinion. I don't know but i also feel kinda sad to see B8 losing so clearly with 0-2 again. Dendi was probably the first big star of Dota 2 but now he is nowhere close to the best players and best teams anymore, but that just shows that the game keeps on evolving and back then when Dendi won a lot with NAVI the whole scene was still pretty amateurish in comparison to today. But hey as long as he is having fun playing competitive Dota 2 he should keep on doing it and i guess he can still live from it with his twitch streams.
1916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet Exodus: experiences ? What do you think? on: January 16, 2022, 02:42:13 PM
Exodus, i have seen so many recensions on it, very bad and very good. I do not know what to think.

Anyone is using it, Do you like it ?  There is a valid alternative ?

I need a desktop wallet, non-custodial for the major altcoins, especially Solana (SOL) and Near (NEAR).

Exodus seem to be the main widespread option, am i wrong ?

Sorry for any grammar mistakes english is not my mother tongue.

Thank you.

I use exodus as my BTC wallet for my bounty rewards from my signature campaign here on this forum for a year now or so and i have to say i never had any problems with it. I also used it recently to collect all my little amounts that i somewhere get from airdrops. I sold them on the exchanges for Stellar sent all those stellar to my Exodus wallet and from there i sent it to another exchange to sell the Stellar. Everything worked great. Of course there is always some risk evolved if you have a wallet that is connected with the internet on your personal computer especially if it is the same computer that you also use for gaming, chatting or whatever.

Breaking news... Djokovic's appeal has been rejected and he'll be deported.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-60014059

That was his final appeal, so it's definitely happening now. He officially "poses a threat to public health", and will be deported.

No-one comes out of this looking good.

Well what a sh*it-show this have been basically from all sides evolved. Everyone that was involved in this looked pretty bad. Djokovic because he wanted to sue his way into the tournament even though he isn't vaccinated and does not want to be vaccinated and of course also Australia. First they grant him an exception, then he is denied to entry the country and has to stay in a hotel. Then a jury says Djokovic can enter the country, then the relevant Australian minister still denies Djokovic to enter the country and then Djokovic fails with his last appeal. The press in Serbia is outraged now.
At least this topic is done now and everyone can concentrate on the tournament that is starting in a few hours.
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so negativity for NFT? on: January 16, 2022, 11:44:59 AM
I have been seeing this extraordinary hate for nft, i find it really irritating, i can understand some criticism but the way they make it look like it is a sin. I mean first of all art is subjective, the points they use to criticize can be easily applied to modern art. For me most of modern art is crap but it has value because people believe in its value simple as that. Even currency is just a paper but it has value because people believe in its value. This is somewhat same hate bitcoin gets even to this day. And i know the same people who are criticizing NFT will be first in line to get NFT once it become more common and once they see profit.

I would guess that this is just part of the normal hype circle that happens with every new type of trend that appears in general but especially in the crypto space. First there is a new project that is doing something new or is trying to do something new then this project gets a lot of traction and attention in the media and the social networks. The early investors of that project make a huge profit and even those that are investing in the next projects of the same type still make nice profits. Then there are more and more copycats coming that are just trying to make a quick buck by copying existing projects and sooner or later people get fed up with it and don't like this trend anymore.
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 15, 2022, 07:25:54 PM
What a start it was from Bayern yes. 2 stunning goals from Bayern in the 1st half. Even Koln did score a goal in the 1st half but it was declined as it was at off side and missed a goal at the very beginning of 2nd half. Koln had a several chances to goal but it was unfortunate with just one goal. But Bayern just were on fire with back to back goals. It was just R Lewandowski's day with 3 goals. Awesome.

Bayern completely dominated the game and even though i think that the result of 4-0 was like 1 goal to high in the end, they definitely deserved that win today. I would guess that they felt a little pressure today because Dortmudn won their game yesterday already and the gap before the start of the game today was only 3 points after it was already 9 points a week ago, but if a team in the Bundesliga can handle the pressure, then it's Bayern. Sane was back again today and he already showed some good performance again. In the coming week more players will come back to the squad so i think Bayern will only get stronger over time.
1920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accept crypto payments on: January 15, 2022, 07:20:43 PM
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced dogecoin adoption as payment for its products, this news came after Elon musk earlier tweeted about the done coin being a better payment option compared to Bitcoin. As we can recall that Tesla use to accept Bitcoin payments in the past before putting on hold its crypto payment gateway.
This announcement gave dogecoin a push-up in price as the coin gained 25% after the announcement.
Reference
https://cointelegraph.com/news/dogecoin-leaps-25-after-musk-announces-doge-payments-for-tesla-merch

Well we have to be careful here, Tesla only accepts Dogecoin as payment for their merch and i guess the sales volume of their merch is very low compared to their sales volume for cars. One of the reasons, or at least a factor that increased the bullrun of last year was the announcement that Tesla accepts Bitcoin as payment, not only for their merch but also for their cars. Of course people are crazy enough to buy Dogecoin just because Elon Musk made another tweet about it, but that news is very small in comparison to the one of last year. I am not sure, if Tesla will ever accept Dogecoin as a payment method for their cars.. in the end it's just a sh*t-coin.
