1921  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: April 15, 2023, 10:10:01 PM
We must always be optimistic to pursue the dreams we have made, age should not be an excuse for making these dreams not happen, as long as we keep trying then these dreams will come true, many people are successful when they are old or are over 60 years old and as long as they are life then we never stop dreaming.
It depends on the circumstances that you're facing. If there is more urgent than the situation that you're in, then it shouldn't really be pursued anymore if you've changed ways already and accepted that there's another fate that you need to take the path of it. Although nothing stops a person from pursuing his dreams even if the situation isn't favorable anymore and there's no more hope in finding that passion and dream that you've built when you're younger. But the reality today is that the drive for that hunger to chase the dreams you've once thought of is changing and mostly gone.
1922  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 15, 2023, 03:32:26 PM
Am the one who is victim here what do you want me to say

I didn't do anything wrong and accoung isnot locked they just told me

They have provider issue.. Its 950$ usdt Ijust deposit from my money
If you have already contacted them a few hours ago, it's possible that your ticket is still in process and you need to wait until a representative takes care of it.
I understand the frustration in terms of your withdrawal but you don't have to worry, Duelbits isn't like any other casino where you might be thinking negative thoughts.
They'll cater to your concern and will solve what's needed to be solved. If the request was made a few hours ago, give some bit of time but probably won't be more than a day.
1923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 15, 2023, 02:24:07 PM
Too much emotions can be very bad in gambling, this affects a lot of gamblers especially when they lose the money as we all know, its frustrating to lose money in gambling. I remember being bad to other people because I lose money, all my surroundings turns into a stressful thing, and that is my turning point that I should assess my gambling activities because if it get worst, I might be on trouble for sure. This is not a good attitude after all, you should be able to control yourself and be emotion less.
When a gambler is out of his emotions, there can be a lot of unexpected things to happen. Like losing everything that he's got within a span of a minute.
He can roll and reroll that in dice without thinking of the amount and just wanna go all-in because that's a YOLO mentality. There's no need for him to be wary because what's important to him is to rely on his emotion and that's already tilted him. It's a dangerous moment when he's got into that moment because as you've said when frustration comes you'll barely remember why you've gambled in the first place especially if it's for fun.
1924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 14, 2023, 10:25:56 PM
1. always set a budget for playing slots and stick to it. do not chase losses or try to win back what you have lost by playing more.
A reminder/tip that we're used to saying. But how many of those gamblers really have heard this right and followed it? These are not just for slots but also for other games where someone forgets to have his budget planned and has it followed.
Chasing losses can make you get those losses back but the chances are very low and you're likely to lose more instead of having back what you have lost.
1925  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30k Bitch!!! on: April 14, 2023, 03:11:47 PM
When those people keep on saying that they're bearish, we all know that do the other and opposite thing and that's the message.  Cheesy
Now, it just needs to go into this price as a support and we might see some better prices again. But then, do not be too confident that we'll stay here because no matter what happens, we're already heading to the bull run and $30k will be left behind for sure.

It isn't a surprise to see Bitcoin @$30k  there had been some prediction roaming around when BTC first touches $28k that the next hop would be $32k so getting into the $30kish price is just a road to the next target price.  Anyway, I am still hesitant if we can call this a bull run since there is also a possibility of bull trap and reversal.  There is not much good news that can strengthen the bullish sentiment of the market.  But yeah, let us enjoy the current price and see what would be the next thing unfolds.
I'm more with the potential start of the bull run, whether it pulls back to $25k or even $20k, I'd still call it as the potential start because we're heading to the halving next year and it's all interconnected and we're aware of what shall happen next.

It's nice to see +30k, but wouldn't be bothered either way, long-term is the name of the game here  Smiley
Exactly, I'm with you on that!

We might be seeing $32k soon.. then $36k the $40k..  and so on..  Just hodl and wait for the price uptrending unfold.
Yeah, let's hold on and we all shall see the bull again and as a reminder to everybody, don't forget to take profits when you're happy.
1926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 14, 2023, 12:44:48 PM
I am now watching the tiebreaker match between Aster and Execration, it's still on the first map and it seems that Execration is leading the game. Whoever wins the game will still have a match against TSM. This is quite confusing to me but in Group A, three teams are fighting for the last remaining slot for Stage 2. While on Group B, it's gonna be OG, beast coast and Team Spirit that are fighting for two slots and only one team will be kicked there.
the Aster and Execration matches are interesting matches because if you look at the performance statistics, the two teams have almost the same abilities. but in map 1 Execration dominates this match and in my opinion Aster will surprise Execration through Hero Enigma chosen by the Aster team.
even though in this match both teams are very strong but I prefer Aster who is more experienced in various matches and has performed well in the previous matches. looks like I chose the Aster team in this match.
Well, Execration and Team Aster are out of DreamLeague so they can now focus on the upcoming Berlin Major. And we just have another update from Team Aster and it was broadcasted by Nigma that their mid laner, Sumail is going to stand-in for Team Aster. It was already updated on the page of Berlin major and that's an interesting stand in for someone like Sumail. No doubt about his capacity but knowing that Team Aster is a chinese team, will there be no communication problem on him?
1927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto as "payment" method adaptable for non tech-savvy people? on: April 14, 2023, 11:01:48 AM
Start with the most basic thing and that's to know how to save and keep their private keys. There's no way that they'll learn everything in an instant and it goes through a process that everything will be learned. Let them watch some videos like Andreas Antonopoulos' bitcoin for dummies or books that he has published. They can't learn everything within a day but they can start with the basics on how to generate wallet, keep their private keys, learning what are their addresses and those things.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 13, 2023, 10:32:36 PM
Maybe aside from that, they'll also ask you for an interview before able to deposit and that's like going to happen during the registration. These casinos understand that the more they ask a lot of things from their customers, the more that they're pushing away that money from them.
That's why it's important to get along what's the demand is asking them and not to ask customers more that aren't really needed unless it's an actual information that the regulators want them to have.
That's true when there's a casino that has stricter requirements then those gamblers would just simply switch to another that requires less as it's unlikely for every casino to have the same requirements when they're based in different countries.

There would still be gamblers that are willing to follow those requirements but the downside for the affected casinos might be too much and in exchange, it's going to limit their operations.
Yeah, if there's an option why would the gamblers stay on that strict casino that's why it being asked many times in the forum about being required to comply with the KYC process. And with all of these requirements and stuff, this certificate is just going to be another obstacle for many gamblers and it's kind of annoying for some because there's this self validation that needs to be done and many of us don't like to be figured out like that as we know ourselves better.

1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: April 13, 2023, 08:00:19 AM
We can only say that it is safe to keep money in the bank if the amount we keep below or exact the guaranteed insured by the FDIC if the bank collapse the money we had deposited will come back. But if the amount is higher than the guaranteed insured the exceeded amount will not be returned.
There's a limit on how much will be insured so if you're going to keep money in the bank then just do it under the threshold of what's covered by the insurance of the central bank or so. I'd say that money is still safe in the bank as long as it's not that a lot of money because we know that they're freezing funds by their customers based on what they think is the status of the customer and what they think about the situation of the bank and the country. This has been happening in Chinese banks and as well as in Lebanon.

1933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF ONLY EVERYONE CAN EASILY ACCEPT CRYPTO on: April 12, 2023, 10:40:59 PM
The bank isn't just good as we think that they can accept bitcoin/crypto for their transactions. They've got a different purpose so as we do.
And much even worse that most of these issues being delivered to them will take 1-3 business days for acceptance and up to 7 business days for them to solve or send back the refund to you for these errors they make. Well, the time is coming when these banks might go with the same interest as we and we're seeing few banks accepting services related to crypto and investing in bitcoin. But then, we just can't see that all of them will in the future even if it's already in the mainstream.
1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 12, 2023, 09:21:31 PM
It's okay for Ancient Tribe to be at the top for week 1 since they've got 3 matches while for Team Secret, they've got 2. But later on, is the start of week 2 and we'll see Team Secret match against D2 Hustlers.
As for Old G, that's okay, the tournament has just started for them but they're approaching to the 2nd week and this is a serious tournament that shall bring 2 teams on this division 2 into division 1.
Now Team Secret just got their first loss from D2 Hustlers, after going up 1-0 they tried drafting around Armel's TA in game 2 but it didn't work as D2 Hustler's midlaner was just dominating Armel throughout the last two games.

With that shaky performance, they might get their second loss against Ancient Tribe and that could potentially stop their road to getting promoted back to Div 1. I hope they can bounce back and win against PuckChamp in their next series though so we'd get good odds for the Ancient Tribe series this weekend.
What a series, it was 2-1 and D2 Hustlers is a team that all of these opponents should take notice. Looking at the draft, it seems that in game 3 they were out-drafted. I also wish that they'll win against PuckChamp and I think that this will be a winnable game for them, actually all of them but it just so happens that even in division 2, teams are not that weak. They're all potential teams to go to the ladder to division 1. But whoever deserves it shall deserve and get it. I guess most teams here are looking upon AT and D2 Hustlers as their toughest opponents.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does loss of BTC affects total amount of BTC in total supply. on: April 12, 2023, 06:13:10 PM
Think of it as a donation to the entire economy of Bitcoin but it won't be affecting the supply and it's still the same. What I mean is a donation because it will help the demand higher and lessens the supply in circulation.
This will result in a higher price of Bitcoin if we've got a lesser supply that's in the economy because those are lost forever and can't be retrieved so that's likely serving as a contribution to the entire market to make the price go up.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help pls Metamask extension error on: April 11, 2023, 11:09:40 PM
Actually it wasn't fixed right after. I downloaded it to another browser. But now I can also install it on Chrome.
They fixed this issue later.
I thought that it was fixed already. But that's good to know that it's fixed just as you said. It's easier and more compatible with using the browser extension to Google Chome.
Although it eats a lot of ram and space in your PC. If you can use any other browser like Brave or Firefox or even Edge, well that's on you for what's more convenient to you in using.
1937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 11, 2023, 10:12:12 PM
On their week 1, they've got 2 matches and all of them got 2-0 as results. So far, that's a good start for them for having an entire new squad for pos 2, 3 and 4. If it's not for Puppey, fans of Team Secret will be gone honestly. But, they're still a top tier team and many tier 1 teams are struggling on division 2 and that's deciding them on what type of team they are. It's just so hard to win games to the point that these are pro teams, having hard times. There's still week 2 and week 3 remaining for the WEU Division 2 tour and more games for Team Secret.

One might think that Team Secret will easily dominate Division 2, but I see that have good competition there. Ancient Tribe is currently leading the group with 3 wins. They even swept Old G in their match, and it is a quick match as well. I think this team will give Team Secret a headache when they meet each other this weekend.

I expected Old G to come on top of Division 2 but they are slowly slipping. They are beaten by unknown teams. Are they not that strong that they can't get out of Division 2?

1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are lotteries really a good way to engage with gamblers? on: April 11, 2023, 06:40:09 PM
Would you guys mind sharing you vision on the following:
-Do you personally take part in lotteries by online casinos?
Lotteries are fun but I don't really engage more with this type of game, it's not my preference.

-Do you track the progress and results of such campaigns?
Yes, with curiosity about how it went and what's the result, it's really interesting to know and track the progress if it's possible.

-If so, are there any changes you would offer to make lotteries more exciting?
I guess that free tickets are going to get a lot of customers on board with this. You know that whenever there are free and promos, there will be a lot of people going there quickly.
1939  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession Highly Likely on: April 11, 2023, 09:29:16 AM
.. do not forget about OPEC limiting oil supplies on a daily basis. The heck is happening on this world, even with a recession only the rich becomes richer.

OPEC's recent oil production cuts are a real concern for the world economy. They do not seem to care about the crisis or recession of the world economy, what they want is to keep the oil price high to make a profit. In the long run, this will most likely cause inflation to rise again, and we will fall into an inevitable recession.

Many have happened to our world over the past two years, and this will not end anytime soon if the war of the great powers in Ukraine does not end soon. Only when the war is over can we expect the economy's stability.
That's true, whoever controls OPEC is controlling the world now honestly. With war and demand increasing for oil because of it, they're also doing something that's off to everyone to make the demand higher and lesser supply in the market. It's really a big concern for every country's economy. Basically, it's a domino effect when oil price hikes and these rich people that are part of it don't feel it because they're all set for life but too many folks are affected by this move.

Being 2nd on the last TI, they shouldn't be there. I'm now torn how they've ended up being there. Oh, it's because Nisha transferred and resolution as well so there have been points deducted. The system of DPC is I don't know being good or bad to those TI participants.

yeah, after Nisha went to Team Liquid, team Secret is in disarray. Even when they still have Reso in their line up, they cannot win anymore in Division 1. Hopefully, their relegation to Division 2 can help them regroup and find better strategies for them to start winning again. They are off to a good start though. They swept their first two matches so that should mean something. They are heavily favored to win this tour and hopefully get back to Division 1.
