1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 10, 2022, 11:52:39 AM
Its been a very long time that I've been using coinmarketcap.com/new to find new crypto projects that just get listed on the platform and I've come to notice that every two to three days coinmarketcap always list up to 30 new crypto projects, how insane is that? It shows that more than 100 crypto projects are released every week cos some landed on coingecko first before coinmarketcap, this to me is scary

To be honest i think that there are way more 100 crypto projects that are appearing every week. The problem is not only that the number itself is that huge but that 99% of all those new "projects" are just stupid meme-coins that no one needs, that offer zero utility and the only reason why they were created is that i takes almost zero effort to create one, you just make another BSC or ETH token or whatever and that's it. Now with the dexes like Uniswap or Pancakeswap, which i genreally like, those projects also can immediately be traded, that is a big problem, because back in the day, shit-coins like that would have never been listed on a good exchange.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 09, 2022, 05:09:30 PM
Lewandowski already has so many trophies that he hardly pays attention to new ones. Maybe he'll pay it once if he gets the Ballon d'Or, who knows  Grin I am amazed at its performance. If he played for Bavaria as much as Müller, then he would be on a par with Ronaldo now. And Muller remains a mystery to me, in my opinion Bavaria could have long replaced him with a stronger player.
He deserved Ballon d'Or and he could get it next year if he continues like that. Messi is doing miserably and CR7 is not shining as usual. Mbappe and Haaland aren't better than him. Benzema is quite good but they will not vote for him for several reasons.
Muller is a second striker in Bayern and he scored 5 goals and made 16 assists in 18 games. As long as the machine is working as intended, they will continue with their strategy without much change. He is 32 now so yeah he will eventually leave the club at some point, he has another 1 year and a half in his contract.

If he doesn't get injured, I'm sure he'll play for a few more years. It is possible that when his form drops and he starts scoring fewer goals, he will start thinking of retirement, but even then I doubt that he will want to give up what he loves too soon. I also think that for a long time, and maybe even never, a club will be found that will be able to convince Bayern Munich to sell Lewandowski.

Lewandowski is one of those players (like Cristiano Ronaldo and Zé Roberto) that is a 100% professional. He has an additional traing routine that he does at home in addition to the already hard training at Bayern Munich. His wife was a very good karateka and she is also totally into fitness and healthy food. I think this kind of lifestyle is the reason why Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo are in way better shape then professional football players usually are in their age and therefore i think that Lewandowski can still perform on the highest level for a few more years.
I don't know though if he stays that long at Bayern Munich, this weeks there were rumors going around again that he wants to force a move to England or Spain after this season.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 09, 2022, 01:31:33 PM
Liverpool interested to bought 17 year old Barcelona player Gavi and Klopp really want him because Gavi can be prioritized as a replacement of Henderson or Fabinho in the future and the chance is open wide to get this player because of deadlock for extended contract between him and Barcelona even the rumours said Liverpool are willing to unlock contract clause 41 millions poundsterling and if Barcelona allowed him went to Liverpool Gavi will get high salary far to the current salary

Such transfers of extremely young players are always very risky in my opinion. The past has shown that a lot of times already. Take for example Martin Odegaard, back in 2015 basically every big club wanted to sign him and a lot of people said he will be the best footballer on the planet in a few years and he had a very hard time and never really was a factor at Real Madrid. He is now playing for FC Arsenal and delivers good performances there so i am happy for him but he is nowhere near of being the best in the world. Some players just stop to make progresses very early and i think Odegaard is an example for that.
The same thing could be true for Gavi, or he is one of does players that keeps improving until he is in his early twenties..no one can know that now.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying right now? on: January 09, 2022, 01:16:25 PM
Hi guys, Bitcoin has dropped to 41,000 again, and all altcoins are with it. So this is a good opportunity to buy some tokens for a good price right? Share what you bought and why?
What about me, i bought a couple of fundamental tokebs that showed good growth during the fall of Bitcoin: NEAR, LINK, ATOM

For me in general times like this are a good opportunity to buy big and well established crypto projects like for example the ones that you have mentioned. I still don't invest at the moment because the drop in prices was not that big yet. I mean i am not planning to buy any ETH or Solana or Cosmos because i usually don't like the idea of buying a token where other people already made a x100 or even a x1000 with it. So in order to make me buy this tokens the prices would have to go down at least another 50% from here on and i highly doubt that this will happen and i also don't hope that this will happen because that would mean that my portfolio would be completely worthless then.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 08, 2022, 06:32:48 PM
I am curious about today's match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund. The hosts are in good shape lately and they will certainly count in the fight for promotion to the Champions League. Borussia quite unexpectedly has a chance to reduce the distance to the leader from Munich. I hope for an interesting match and a lot of goals.

I think that Dortmund had a pretty good start into the game they were aggressive and the better team in the first 10 minutes or so, but then Frankfurt scored the 1-0 out of a freekick and of all sudden it looked like Dortmund just fell apart completely. The second goal of frankfurt happened because Dortmund made 2 big mistakes, the first one when they lost the ball and the second and an even bigger one when Reus gave the ball back to a player of Frankfurt only a few meters away from the goal. Frankfurt hit the post shortly after that so it could have easily been a 3-0 lead for Frankfurt after 30 minutes. Dortmund also had a big chance shortly before the end of the second.
1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on what to consider when making an investment ? on: January 08, 2022, 06:26:26 PM
What's up guys, I am relatively new to the crypto world and although I've read a lot and watched countless videos on crypto and how to do your own research, I was wondering what are the most important aspects of a project, and what are the most important factors and things to look for. If you could give me some advice on the resources you guys use that would be really great. I was also wondering if someone could explain to me what is a vesting schedule and what a good token distribution looks like vs a bad one.

It always depens on what you want to achieve with your investment if you want to invest with as little risk as possible (if that is even possible in the crypto space) then you should probably invest into Bitcoin or Ethereum. Those are the biggest crypto projects and they are well established, but even with that projects you can lose 10% of your investment in 1 or 2 days as the last week has proved again. If you want to invest into smaller projects or new and upcoming project than i would recommend you to really only use money that you can completely afford to lose without having any impact on your life. I personally always look for the team, the whitepaper, the use-case and also the investors, if for example big exchanges like Huobi or Okex have invested, then it is pretty certain that this project will be listed pretty quickly on those exchanges.
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When people said hype and utility is most important on: January 07, 2022, 11:15:42 PM
The slowest crypto that walk from grass to grace is BTC, it's the first decentralized crypto asset that works with zero hype since the Dev decided to went hidden and remain unknown to the world, BTC works with no hype at all, slowly this asset confused the world that it matters but projects of today talk and talk about thousands of promises only to end up queueing under BTC LMAO

Well to be fair though the biggest advantage that BTC has in comparison to all the other crypto projects out there is simply that Bitcoin was the first ever cryptocurrency. A lot of people that are not involved into crypto still think that Bitcoin = crypto, maybe they have heard about Ethereum but that is pretty much it. In terms of utility BTC is inferior to a lot of projects out there nowadays like Ethereum, Solana, Radix, Polygon so basically to every Ecosystem out there that offers smart chain functionality and still those projects will probably never be able to overtake Bitcoin in terms of total marketcap, which is fine by me. I also agree though that hype is not really important, 99% of those shitty meme-coins will be dead in a few months.

bayern  1 - 2 Gladbach

I knew it was almost impossible for Bayern to win in that situation, Gladbach may be a weak team but they wouldn't lose against a B team, that would be a very bad joke and I doubt Gladbach's coach would be sleepy after losing against a B team

Well first of all congrats to everyone that placed a bet that Gladbach would win this game. I did not do that because for me Bayern was still the favorite even though there were missing a lot of players. If you have watched the game then it was obvious, that it was not impossible for Bayern to win this game, in fact they where the better team and were very unlucky that they have lost this game. Bayern completely dominated the game and their goal to the 1-0 lead was completely deserved. Then completely out of nowhere Gladbach scored two goals with their first two shots. After that Gladbach had only one more good chance while lewandowski alone hit the post two times and Bayern had several chances more. So Bayern should have definitely won that game.

Congratulations to Aston Villa for being able to sign Barcelona player Philippe Coutinho on loan. They signed him on loan with an option to buy. In this transfer, Steven Gerrard was a really big factor of course. They know each other closely considering their history at Liverpool. I think that this is a good signing for Aston Villa. I know that Coutinho couldn't show his talent much at Barcelona. But he was really great when he was in the Premier League. I hope to see him performing well again.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/official-aston-villa-sign-coutinho-barca-player-loaned-out-with-option-to-buy/view/news/397778

I totally agree here. Coutinho was one of the best players in the world back in 2013 to 2018 when he played for liverpool. As you already said it sadly did not work out for him at Barcelona for whatever reason but even at his short stay at Bayern Munich 2 years ago he showed that he is still able to show great performances. It was also a very important transfer for FC Barcelona. I read today that only because of this transfer of Coutinho they were able to register Ferran Torres as their new player at the spanish league, because they have so much debts. So this is a transfer where every party involved seemed to have benefited as it should be.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 07, 2022, 10:30:29 AM

In my opinion, City, Bayern, and Real Madrid are the contenders for the UCL title. Real seem like they have found back their rhythm after a shaky start to the season and City and Bayern play really good team-oriented attacking game which I love.

Real Madrid's midfield has aged quite a bit. All 3 of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro are above 30 but I dont think age will play a big role over here as Modrid, even at this age is still one of the best midfielders in the world.
I don't know how the Manchester City team play, but it doesn't seem that strong to me
with PSG he took a goal at home
with RB Leipzig he lost, and I don't think he is a super team
I don't know, but I repeat I don't know him as a team

I also think that ManCity is one of the big favorites to win the champions league title. At the moment they have more than 20 people of the club that are in quarantine or tested positive for covid, including their coach guardiola but there is still enough time until the playoff round of the champions league starts. Yes it is true that ManCity lost against Leipzig but that was only because they were already qualified for the next round and therefore they were not playing with their best team on that day. I think this year covid also plays a big role in who will win the champions league. If you have a lot of players that can not compete because they are tested positive then you have a massive disadvantage obviously.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: staking is a type of mining? on: January 07, 2022, 10:18:49 AM
a crypto being on a stake it means that this crypto is mining others?

Staking basically means you use your coins to support the network (at least that is how it works when you stake via native wallets on your desktop, i am not sure if this is also true for tokens that you stake via one of those Defi pools). So yeah in the end it is a consensus mechanic just like proof of work. I think that proof of stake will become more and more popular now and in the next years because of environmental reasons. Tesla was already accepting bitcoin as a method of payment but then they had to take that decision back because of protests because bitcoin has to be mined and for that you need a lot of electricity.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 06, 2022, 05:54:53 PM
Bayern wants to postpone tomorrow's game against Gladbach because there are so many corona cases in the team. But it doesn't look like the German Football League will go for it. That's why Bayern is flying in several U17 players today, so that a squad for tomorrow's game can be set up at all. On the other hand, Gladbach has only one confirmed Corona case of a regular player and can therefore virtually has the full manpower. I bet a small amount on a victory of Gladbach  Cheesy The odds are still much too high for the current situation in my opinion.

The game will not be postponed as far as i know and even Nagelsmann said that it shouldn't be postponed. Bayern is missing 12 players tomorrow and that is a huge number but i still don't think that this makes Gladbach the favorite now i just looked up what could be the starting eleven from Bayern Munich tomorrow and even though it is not as strong as usually it still is a pretty solid team in my opinion. Bayern still has Süle, Pavard, Kimmich, Musiala, Gnabry, Müller, Sabitzer and Lewandowki and i think that those 8 players would also have big chances to be in the starting eleven even if there were no covid cases. For me Bayern is still the favorite tomorrow.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing in meme coins on: January 06, 2022, 05:48:06 PM
why most of the peoples are not investing in meme coins??

Well there are several reasons for that and i also think that no one should invest into meme-coins because as long as people do it new meme-coins just keep on appearing each and everyday. A few reasons why most people dislike meme-coins are probably that they offer zero utility to it's users and investors, they are not even real projects as they are just creating another BSC or ETH token with a website template and that's it, 99,9% of all those meme-coins will be completely dead a few week after it's launch, people are just creating meme-coins to make some fast money with it as zero effort is needed to create a meme-coin. This are just a few reasons, there are plenty more.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 06, 2022, 01:46:40 PM
We always read the words "Don't bet more than you can afford to lose", but are we really following that safe principle in gambling?

So, I have a question here, if you are earning like $2000 a month, how much are you willing to gamble that you think you can afford to lose?
Please use the amount as a basis for your answer.

This advice is not only true and important for gambling but of course also for investing into cryptocurrency in general as the market is so extremely volatile. The last few days have proven that as well with the prices being down more than 10% within less than 24 hours. To your question and example: It is not that easy to answer because we would also need to know how many fixed costs you have every months so let's say you have to pay 800$ per months for rent, then let's say 200$ for electricity and water and then another 100 $ for internet, telephone, netflix and stuff like that and then probably another 400$ per months for all the other stuff like clothing, food and so on. This would mean that you have 500$ per months that you could theoretically use for gambling, but in reality you probably need to put aside at least 400$ per month aside to build up some savings and for unforeseen stuff, so you would have like 100$ per months for gambling left and you would not need to worry if you would lose that money.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 01:34:20 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?

What happened yesterday and is still happening today is definitely more than a correction but it is also not a real crash yet. We have to wait and see not if the prices stop falling now and begin to stabilize or if they keep on going down. If they stabilize now then i think we are still pretty fine and don't really need to worry. I personally would not sell now the prices are already down now and i don't think we will see another -10% from here on, so if you sell now then it could happen that you sell at the low point which would be a shame. If you have the feeling though that the maket continues to drop, then of course you can/should sell now and buy back when the prices are even lower.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could Gambling Legalization be a positive thing for Brazil? on: January 05, 2022, 03:33:05 PM

What do you guys think?
Shouldn't it be the sound decision??
Why is the government not legalizing gambling casinos even tho since 2018 sports betting has been legal in the country.

Well i would guess that everyone that is a big fan of gambling in brazil is already doing it using VPN or other methods so i don't think it is a bad thing if gambling would be officially legal in brazil. Of course this also means that probably advertising in television and the internet for gambling would be allowed then. There i think the rules need to be pretty strict that it is made clear during the commercial that gambling has a high potential of getting addicted and that you can lose your money too. In addition to that it should only be allowed for adults to do gambling of course but i guess and hope this would be the case anyway.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULDN'T THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOKENS BE MORE SUPERVISED ? on: January 05, 2022, 03:29:06 PM
These days, the number of scam projects in the cryptocurrency space is really getting alarming.
It seems as if creating a cryptocurrency or token is as easy as opening a facebook account, and that's why rug pulls and other forms of crypto scams is rampant now.
Shouldn't the blockchain technology restructure their requirements and tighten their audit methods to prevent or to an extent, reduce this menace?
I think some progressive actions should be made, like more strict supervising and audits and as well, due consequences should be attached to defaulters.
Cause it's really disheartening the loss being recorded everyday due to elaborate cryptocurrency scam schemes.

It's definitely true that there are like 100 of new tokens that are appearing each and everyday and it's almost impossible to keep track of all of that and from those 100 projects i would guess that at least 95% are just another meme-coin (or sh*t-coin). For meme-coins it is definitely true that the creation is just as simple as opening a facebook acount. You just create another BSC or ETH or whatever token name it after Elon, Shibu or whatever. Then you only need to use a generic website template and that is pretty much it. I don't think you can really do much against that. The only thing you can do is to not buy such sh*t-coins.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2022, 11:22:45 AM
I think Morata will be successful in Spain. He will concentrate better than the Italian league and will come to the matches more mentally ready. If he reflects this during the match, he will play better matches than he played in Italy. Barcelona has young players who can offer Morata good opportunities. If the transfer takes place, let's see together.
7 goals in 23 matches for a striker who is in a team like Juventus? I would call such performance very average. Morata used to perform even better as compared to his current form. Remember when he left Juventus for Real Madrid?
He went on to score 15 goals in 26 matches.

I think that 7 goals in 23 matches is not that bad i mean you can not expect every striker to score 30+ goals per season just because Ronaldo, Messi and Lewandowski are doing that for some years now. For me Morata is a great player that always showed some good performances over his career so far but he somehow never really managed to make that last step to be an absolute world class striker. It is pretty safe to say that Morata will show a good performance in spain as it is his native country. For me this transfer would definitely make sense. Barca is broke and can not just sign the best and most expensive players. They have to look for players that are performing well but are a little bit under the radar.
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you trade your crypto on: January 05, 2022, 11:12:11 AM
I want to know with what platforms you are working with.

Great Day

I am not that active of a trader but when i trade i mostly use centralized exchanges to be honest and there i mostly use KuCoin. I never had a bad experience with them and everything always worked there so far for me and they are really having a lot of coins listed there so even small projects are tradeable there in a lot of cases. I used uniswap only once or twice because the gas fees are just way to high for me personally. Yesterday i used pancakeswap and it worked great also with low fees, so it's no wonder why a lot of people and projects are switching to the binance smart chain network recently. Yesterday i also used bittrex for 2 trades and i have to say the fees there are pretty high like almost 1% per trade if you don't have those bittrex credits yet.

It is very surprising to see AO and the Australian government lower their requirements for Djokovic and it doesnt say well about them. They recently just crushed dreams of an Indian Junior for not being vaccinated as vaccines for under 18 isn't yet permitted and testing is in process in the country and hence, he didn't have a choice to get vaccinated. Would like to know how he got the "exemption" while the Indian junior couldn't.

Edit: I just read the statement released by AO. They state that 2 independent medical authorities had gone through the case and have considered Djokovic's case as a valid reason to not be vaccination. Exact reasons haven't been mentioned.

I also read about that special permit that Djokovic gets to be able to be part of the Australian Open and i have to say that i am surprised on the one hand but on the other i also kinda expected that to be honest. Djokovic never really concealed that he is not a friend of getting vaccinated so i did not really expected that he would change that just to be able to compete. Djokovic has won the Australian Open 9 times already as of now and i am pretty sure the tournament officials really wanted him to be part of the tournament as he is also one of the biggest money makers in the sport and of course also the best player at the moment.
The statement by AO said that the applications for the special permits are anonymous so the authorities did no know which application they are reviewing. If that is true then this procedure is fine with me.
