1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ Masternode& POS ✅ Labrotix Coin 🏅POS 20% MN 80%/ Low Premine ✅Exchange Live on: December 26, 2019, 01:57:51 AM
The above message is true. This guy owns both BLOCS project as well as LABROTIX exchange. Be very careful with both. He is a big scammer. Its kind of Mafia with him. He claims that the other project people stole his money. Be very careful.

No wonder this project is not attracting users here. More than likely, they will discard their premine by selling it to their exchange. But the problem is, are there buyers of their coin? Also, this exchange has address in Russia, are they licensed under Russian government?

1942  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: December 25, 2019, 11:46:40 PM

Although it is simplied model, while it provides basic thinking about it.

My question is is there other popular model/formula about it ?
I dont think there would be a model/formula about it yet here on cryptospace where people do only refer on whats being written on coinmarketcap.com when it comes to
its total market capitalization which would signify its demand and this isnt the accurate one since OTC trades arent really being tallied nor being included.
BTC price is the average total on where bitcoin is being traded.

There is really no accurate formula for the bitcoin price. Spare yourself in knowing one as there is nothing that you will find. The formulas the OP presented are just basic equations to get the approximate price. But looking for an accurate one, nope. There are a lot of factors in play here, aside from countless exchanges involved, the happenings or situations surrounding the use of bitcoin or crypto are immeasurable.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUDIT] AuditStarter - the main crowdfunding platform in software security on: December 25, 2019, 10:53:49 AM
Often, developers take part of their own code from open sources that no one has tested. A lot of people think: this is an open source and anyone can check it, but no one does this, relying on others. Some of the developers doesn't have time, someone doesn't have money for an audit. Of course, developers are interested in third-party audit. Especially if it is free for developer.  Moreover, developers according to the results of the audit receive a confidential extended vulnerability report. And only a short audit report becomes a public.

I didn’t ask about that. It’s clear that some developers will be happy with the free way to check their code. I asked: would another part of the developers want to show their bugs?

We are all a human beings and we are all subject to errors. It would be better for the developer and his prestige if his mistakes will be found during the audit and those mistakes will not be used by hackers for personal benefit. So, yes! The developers themselves interested in officially showing their vulnerabilities.

Auditing aspect needs a sufficient number of staff to perform their duties satisfactorily. Aside from the 2 members published as part of the team, how many of your staffs are really working on this project? At least approximate number of people who are working full time for this platform?
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Hekaton -=* The NEW Bitcoin *=- Wallets releasing tonight on: December 25, 2019, 10:01:52 AM
I think their goal of being listed their coin to 1-3 exchanges have not been fulfilled?

How about this one? Any bit of progress on this goal? Or at least have they started addressing this goal?

1945  Economy / Gambling / Re: LAMBOWEI.COM | Interactive art on the blockchain, EARN X2 THIS CHRISTMAS! on: December 25, 2019, 02:18:42 AM
So while you guys were asleep, Lambowei went from zero to 0.01 to 0.056... (a couple more times) to about 9 ETH. The rise and rise of the Lambowei.

How do we know that the owners of eth addresses are not connected with each other? I mean, who knows, only one person owns all of that addresses. Tracing addys via etherscan is not effective anymore as you can create eth addys as many as you can without being connected with each other? And as you said, only time will tell to trust this project.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 24, 2019, 11:14:44 PM
Would you be willing to trade your location, name, and any other private and personal details over BTCitcoin? Yes? No? Why?
I know many of us have already submitted countless documents to various cryptocurrency exchanges just to pass their KYC process and comply with AML but how far would someone be willing to give up just to get a part of that precious BTCitcoin?

To an extent. I completed KYC at Bitstamp and Coinbase years ago.

I limit the number of exchanges I do business with for this reason though. I appreciate my privacy and I don't want my tax ID# and documents being compromised by careless exchanges. So I use altcoin and derivatives exchanges that don't require verification.

I have had completed KYC requirements to several exchanges as well because to trade specific coins that are within their trading system, I have to comply their requirements. And I think, we have no choice one way or another. Because if you wanted your precious bitcoin to be in your fiat currency, very few options that you won't need to do the KYC. However, I carefully chose those exchanges and I also did research if that exchange is legit in the first place. But for some small exchanges asking for KYC, definitely no! One should know where you submitted your vital docs so in case something goes wrong in the future, you can easily pinpoint where it is coming from.

I know this project has accomplished a lot already. But have you managed to fulfil all the items listed on your roadmap for the last quarter of this year?

Want to use your app as I have had airmiles that were expired before. With your services, one can use their airmiles in so many options.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][COMM] 🌟 Crypto Commonwealth: A Crypto Asset Manager and Publisher 🌟 on: December 24, 2019, 02:56:13 PM
I hope these noobs are not part of the team that are hyping up this thread. Because if in case it is, then, it is poor attempt to market their platform. If they are confident with their business model, no need to flock this thread by noobs. Let the community notice their capability of delivering what have been promised like the passive income per se. Your core team is very commendable so let your work speaks for yourself.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE]FEX Exchange on: December 24, 2019, 10:30:29 AM
Announcement about the upgrade of BTC wallet on November 27, 2019
For more information:https://fexpro.net/messageText?type=89&showNoticetype=0

By the way, if KYC is mandatory for all withdrawal levels, where can we see who are behind this crypto exchange? At least give us something that this exchange is fully licensed to operate, where are the legal documents? Give at least one to two persons with profile links. How are we gonna trust you our docs if nothing substantial regarding the legality of this exchange?

Hi there, for your question, you may find some answers on FEX Medium about FEX CEO:
https://medium.com/@fexcoin/blockchain-technology-will-wipe-out-half-of-employees-in-traditional-financial-sector-f251d4ed384e

About the legal documents, FEX Exchange registered in Hong Kong. If you are looking for more details, please pm me.

Thank you for your attentions, your questions will help us being better.

Checked the link but it is only a text of interview and only first name. No surname, no profile links attached. By the way, everyone can make a text interview. About the legal documents, I don't need to pm you, you can just publish the registration number or legal docs on your website so everyone can see what license you have in HK. There are many sprouting crypto exchange and if you have the real license to operate, it will add credibility to your exchange.

Yes, thats right. It will add credibility. However, it is not my decision to publish or not. Your suggestion has been recieved and I will report to the team. Thank you.

I just so happen to encounter again your project. And I guess, there is some unresolved queries here. If you are registered in HK, actually it is very easy to publish your registration or license number. No one can steal it from you. I don't understand why it is difficult on your end to do that? while many exchanges are publishing their license no.
1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Loses Data for 267 Million Users, Calls Libra Security Into Question on: December 24, 2019, 04:40:17 AM
When libra runs on the decentralized network and that will improve the security of the libra itself as so many nodes are securing the network. About the scandal of facebook and that's what will be happened when you are trusting the centralized tech.

Basically, to talk about the security of libra doesn't make sense as the nodes will be running by all of the libra pratnership and that will make libra becomes decentralized and it can't be hacked easily like what already happened with facebook.

To put it this way, system of facebook and libra would be different from each other. Aside from that, FB team has already learned their lessons, so I don't think they will ruin the reputation of Libra as they are just starting to introduce it in public. They will be very careful in security matters especially they are in the hot seat. They will show their best foot forward in order to make this project happen.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | A Linux Infrastructure for Scalable DApps on: December 24, 2019, 01:04:31 AM
Why create a new ANN thread? You can just use the old one because it has only 2 pages so far.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209230.0

But, if you want this to be the official one, you should lock the old thread so people will not be confused on where to check the updates of your project.
Because more than likely, someone will still post on your old one.

It's been locked, thank you for that heads up.

When is launch and where can I get CARTESI coins?

Any public sale is still TBH. The team is exploring all options, in the best interest for all parties involved in Cartesi. We highly recommend staying up-to-date in our Telegram group: https://t.me/CartesiProject

We will be launching a Community Adoption Program later this week with Bubbalex, so keep your eyes out for that.

Public sale is difficult nowadays. Very few can really achieve their targets. You need to find other options to raise funds. You already have technical experts on your team so it is not that hard to sell the platform to private investors. But may I ask, are all those partners & supporters listed on your website providing financial funds to your project or they have different contributions to this project?
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FT1] Fortune1Coin is not just another cryptocurrency. on: December 23, 2019, 11:00:30 PM
If this is not just another crypto, then, what are the significant achievements so far for this coin? As of now, we haven't seen their claim to be their most important innovation as a coin - their market model - increase of its price on its own. This is yet to be seen once they are active in trading. Are we going to see a different course on this coin?
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⭐[ICO] Pixby - Where Creativity Is Rewarded 💰 [Private Pre-Sale] on: December 23, 2019, 03:28:35 PM
Actually some time I saw a number of projects that did the staking system and I saw nothing changed either the price in the market or even people's interest, maybe PIXBY has way in the future
I think this whole system has been integrated to whet interest in selling tokens.  Now it is very difficult to raise funds for the development of the project, so the introduction of such a system (staking) is quite justified. If the PIXBY holds several sessions on different exchanges, then they have money and opportunities to promote the project further.

Will this staking program help in making this project afloat in the market? We will know the answer for the next couple of years of this project. Even one year is already long enough to assess the effectivity of this program towards the project. But aside from this staking program, I believe the team should already be thinking of their lineup of activities in order to sustain the interest of their followers. Because if not, the story will be the same like all those forgotten projects.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] WPP ENERGY TOKEN - TOKEN TO BE TIED TO THE VALUE OF H2 on: December 23, 2019, 02:44:02 PM

Let's talk about product, not the price. Where is the product? I'm talking about W2H2, and not Vorax (Because this is not their product)
The WPP product they have developed is WPP Store, but the platform is still empty of users,
we cannot expect more from this project

Honestly, I have high expectations on this project. I thought they are changing the game in crypto. Token to be tied to the value of hydrogen? How far it is from reality? Or don't expect that it will happen anymore?  Is there any hope that they can deliver their original objectives for this project?
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔶 [ANN][XRC] Bitcoin Rhodium — Not a fork. Low Supply. PoW. Quarterly Rewards on: December 23, 2019, 01:52:59 PM

I saw price pumping.  Any news coming from AMA? Something to looking forward?

You can check full AMA recap in the article https://medium.com/bitcoin-rhodium-xrc/ama-with-xrc-team-recap-d00aa931b972

In short:
— Devs hinted about changes coming to reward program which will be announced closer to Christmas.
— Also Wasabi port to XRC will offer more options around controlling your XRC … CoinJoin option, manual coin selection (you can also do this in Electrum now also, but Wasabi makes it more obvious UI wise right now), Tor by default.
— And of course imminent Freemarket.one release.

There's sudden jump of price today. Any new updates from the team? Also, with regard to freemarket.one marketplace, would it really hit off in the market? Since your identity is protected, how can you assure that when you trade your precious metal, everything will proceed according to your expectations? Can the system detect someone is about to screw your dealings?
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: December 23, 2019, 01:08:59 PM
Good article but I can't agree that:
Quote
if you store your profits in USDT, they will just lie there idly, slowly eaten up by inflation
because actually there are many additional earning opportunities provided. We can lend this money or use Flexible Deposits on Binance to earn interest, with the flexibility to redeem funds at any time.

When you think about the benefits associated with Goldstablecoin I think it's far profitable to store your funds in Gold instead of USDT or any other stablecoin, using Exchange to store your funds comes with the risk of your funds getting hacked and in cases the exchange doesn't have reserve funds to take care of the situation the chance of you recovering your funds is lost.

Comparing USDT to GOLD, apart from the market capitalization and popularity. USDT isn't that much of a go to project as they are always chance of encountering fud and shady practice from the partners/operators of the stablecoin meanwhile GOLD has been fud free since months of it's existence. All I'm trying to say is that, I'll fav Gold over USDT anytime, wasn't much of a fan of USDT anyway.

And that is really good choice if this project will really stick to their promise to its followers and stakeholders. And achieve their objectives as laid out on their roadmap. You will find many users to be hesitant on relying this project as even it is claimed to be backed by gold because you have to remember, that most of the projects that attested to be gold-backed turned out to be fraudulent ones. So just pray and hope that this one will remain to be authentic throughout its journey in this business.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EXCHANGE] Atomars - Fast and Secure Digital Assets Exchange Platform on: December 23, 2019, 11:11:52 AM
It seems that this exchange would be another choice of mine to trade. Since there is no KYC below 2BTC, I guess this is good for small time traders like me. No need to worry about sending docs. And the advantage I am seeing here is the liquidity. Like for example, most of the time I use doge for transfer purposes, and if you check the doge/btc pair, they have long line up of buy and sell order. So not bad. Will bookmark atomars website.

Pockmine under maintenance :

Since you are getting private investors here, are you going to run at least sig campaign in this forum paying btc and not your coin run by a reputable manager? This will help in reaching out more customers of your platform. Though it seems that you have solid foundation already, marketing of your services is still a necessity.
1959  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MoneroV - SCAM - Fake team - fake website on: December 22, 2019, 11:38:30 PM
why should they create a new team to spend resources to transfer to a new network, a new hashing algorithm?  There is more than one mention from the "main" development team since May 29, 2019.  what is your problem and distrust?  guys decided to revive the coin

So you are supporting this fake monerov project and creating a new account to post on this? Let me guess, you are part of this fake team  trying to lure naive users to get their private keys? The problem is this project is trying to extract vital information to get access with their wallets.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 22, 2019, 03:28:53 PM
Bounty hunter new very careful about a project promoting because they are get more time spend with hard work but do not received any success money.
Personally if i got a project scam announce topic then i brave participate so those projects you have share i hope their have more problem then hunter avoid bounty or airdrop.
Yes, be careful when choosing a project you have to, because now it is very different from the past, where there are currently so many unclear projects, so hunters must research first before promoting a new project.
I think to be able to find projects that can guarantee profit for this year has been very difficult to happen because there are many scam projects, but maybe still with the IEO method that can still benefit even though only a small profit can be obtained.

Even project that undertook IEO in reputable exchanges like BNB has no assurance that an investor can get profit especially if you are a small time investor. Aside from that, scammers can penetrate these exchanges as they can deceive them with their intentions, especially if they can shell out money just to list them. Bottomline, projects failed because of lack or insufficient funds or lack of motivation to move forward. Very rare that you can find a valuable project nowadays.
