If you people think that someone who holds 23% of coin would sell it at once you are not sane.

No but a constant stream of dumps with volume like that means he won't get very far until the coin absolutely tanks. At current ZET prices there is just not enough reasonable profit to be made by a P&D scam considering all the months of work that have been put into it.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 10, 2014, 03:49:11 PM
for a start they have way more than 7.5mil, i think the address still holds 37.5mil?

Even still though I just don't see how someone could feasibly sell 37 million coins and not crash the price to nothing, maybe i'm just naive but I don't see the whole play in all this, logically shouldn't they have dumped 3-4 months ago when price was at 10 cents?
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 10, 2014, 02:58:35 PM
Let's do the math.

Even if 7.5 million were dumped right now, at current prices that would only be $150,000

First off, finding the volume to buy that many coins before it dumps to nothing would be zilch, second, if this were a P&D there are a few team players involved so you have to split that money at least 5-10 ways. At best 1 person could hope to make $10-15 grand which in reality would be much lower due to the market losing confidence quickly.

It seems like an awfully lot of work to orchestrate a 6-12 month P&D creating fictitious social media websites, faking business discussions among themselves on nobs.is and various blogs, and tweeting all the time 8 hours a day just to make a couple thousand dollars. Real con artists aren't this dedicated. There is way more money to be made and fast in creating a quick wordpress site, pumping out a country coin with a premine and hyping everyone up for a week before dumping.
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2014, 02:27:30 PM

Are you serious? There are dozens of people dying everyday of israeli air strikes and no one bats an eye. And then the israeli government is sending foodtrucks?? THANK GOD FOR THE ISRAELI PEOPLE!!. You are the scum of the earth. I am only investing on this coins because you people are just going to pump this up to make each other rich.
If there were no jews on earth there will be no: American domination of the world. So 90% of the wars would be no more. All the debt in the world would be gone. Some people will get butthurt about this argument but idgaf it is true. And there would be no dictators in the middle east. Everybody knows that the american government is just pumping money in their pockets so they will give the profits of their country to the american government. Why else is there such poverty in the most oil rich countries of the world? Is it logic? no ofcourse not. But you people should be ashame of yourselves.. And after all this, YOU STILL THINK YOU ARE THE GOOD GUYS. If you have a nice home and a nice meal everyday without the fear that you will be bombed the next day. Than you shouldnt talk about the things you do good for palestine. I have no problem for israel being an jewish country. But i have problems with it for being a zionsit country.. I dont want to offend anyone. But dont tell me that the israeli government is doing good.

I think my issue is, Israelis kill a few hundred Palestinians over the course of a few decade, and the whole world loses its shit and calls Israel the number 1 threat to world peace.

But 150 THOUSAND Syrians have been killed in the last 3 years and it is just "business as usual" in the Arab world.

The kind of people that are butchering people in Syria...these are the people Israel has to negotiate peace with. How do you negotiate peace with an Islamic warlord who thinks thieves should have their hands chopped off live on twitter? Answer me that.

Is Israel a dovish country? Certainly not, but its hard to be when you live in a region full of people who LOVE to fight.
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2014, 01:36:31 AM

Just curious -- who are you and your nation to think that the right to overtake Arabian's national rules belongs to you? (I don't really care about both sides, but see no human arguments in your arguments. You are messing in other person's and nations' life. Or?)

Mentally stronger -- no you are not.
Humanity -- ... (no comment, there is no moral)
Culture -- where is it?

Where was the right of 5 Arab nations and even volunteers from Sudan and Pakistan to gang up on a bunch of holocaust refugees? Israel never asked for war, it was thrust on them, but because they won they are supposed to give land back to the people who tried to kill them all? That makes no sense. Compared to how Arabs treat each other, Israel is nice, they don't chop off fingers or torture people to death like Assad or Saddam. When Arabs learn to treat their own neighbors like brothers, maybe Israel will be able to do the same someday.

The problem is people born in the last few years see things on TV like Israelis with expensive tanks and jets, but there was a time 60 years ago when the Arabs had all the best guns, airplanes, and tanks given to them by the British colonizers and all Israelis had was a homegrown militia army and some Czech rifles, they were the underdogs and the oppressed and beat the odds.

But I think even Palestinians have realized going to work and feeding your family is better than fighting a pointless Jihad for dirt, where would you rather be living now, the West Bank or Aleppo? How ironic that "Occupied Palestine" is one the quietest places right now while the rest of the middle east is in chaos.
2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2014, 01:09:07 AM

When Palestinians were kicking the chairs out from underneath old Jewish ladies praying at the wailing wall in the 1930s were they tyrants?

You want to talk tyranny, how about the tyranny Muslim women face in their own bedroom from their abusive and dominant husbands?

I'm sorry but the middle east needs to clean up their own cesspool first before they keep throwing stones at Israel.
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2014, 12:55:14 AM

There was a conspiracy before the war to make it seem like Jews were the biggest victims of WWII and that this would be used as propaganda for the creation of Israel. Have a look for " Six Million Jews" on youtube. Can't say how many died for certain but it certainly wasn't that many. I'm mining this coin anyway and have been for a while.  Anything that can undermine the importance of government in Israel should be supported.

What propaganda? No one came to the Jews aid in 1948 when the Arab armies circled them in 1948 to finish them off, not even America. But they beat the odds and won and get vilified for it, how would you treat your neighbors who tried to exterminate you in 3 wars and STILL want to exterminate you from the face of the Earth because Allah says so?

Funny, no one ever says anything about Arabs occupying Kurdish homeland either, how about "their" state? Or is it not important?

The barbaric behavior going on in Syria from 14th century barbarians butchering and eating each other over a tribal religion is why Israel puts up high walls.
2008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2014, 12:05:52 AM
Rose from nothing!!!! Is that what stealing is called! I figured it out isracon should be based on btc that is stolen from Palestinian ppl so it can rise from nothing in the same fashion as your country!!!!!!!!

Actually Israel rose from the Arabs trying to finish what Hitler started in 1948 but keep playing the "poor oppressed Palestinian" card

Almanac of 1940 the world population of Jews was 15,319,359. The world Almanac then reports in 1948 just 3 years after the war ended the world Jewish population is listed at 15,713,638. So explain how the world jewish population INCREASED when supposedly almost half were exterminated? Anyone who has done research knows better then to buy anymore jewish GARBAGE/LIES! Zionist fascist swine just wanted Israel because of it's strategic location in spreading Zionist world domination. Before you invest a SINGLE PENNY in this coin please read, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, you owe to yourself.

Fucking imbecile.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Protocols_of_the_Elders_of_Zion

You may be a mentally retarded bigot, but this coin is obviously bullshit, too.

Right and the war against the Soviet Union never happened and 30 million Russians, Poles and Ukrainians never died at the hands of the Nazis, the Germans just wanted to bring chocolate and sunshine to all the countries they conquered, really where did you get your schooling?

On coinmarketcap it shows number 4 because developers own 480 million coins. Just look closer there  Roll Eyes

Someone on a troll box said there is only some 900k though floating in the wild? So its a rare coin when you don't count the premine.
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: April 09, 2014, 07:14:08 PM
So I'm playing the poor Palestinian card and you bring up hitler! Hahahahahaha. Hitler oppressed me so I'm allowed to steal Palestine makes sense. I guess all the Chinese who died in Nanking deserve to steal a country from (fill in blank).  Shocked

The UN mandated two states in 1948, a Jewish one and an Arab one. The Jews accepted it, the Palestinians rejected it, and they ganged up with the ENTIRE Arab world to go in and push the Jews into the sea. Their leader, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem also allied WITH Hitler to open up a second front for a mideast Holocaust in 1942, 5 years before Israel was even created! Israel was created because they were fighting for their lives, not for land.

People act like the history of the region goes back to 1967, Zionist Jews have been there since the late 1800s and most Palestinians are descended from Arab migrant workers from the Levant and Arabia who came to the region WITH the Jews due to the job opportunities from all the Zionist settlers. The whole region was mostly dead and uninhabited and Mark Twains writings confirm this. Arabs have 99% of the land in the mideast yet couldn't find room to share 1% with the Jews, this is why Israelis are such hard asses, and I am speaking as an American.

I know this may sound crazy but what if the Kenyan government adopted a crypto currency? When over 70% of your currency is flowing through a mobile phone already, why not go one step above, adopt crypto and enrich your nation overnight?
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 09, 2014, 04:55:52 AM

Some people start to realize that they have been buying/supporting the wrong altcoins for the wrong reasons all along. And now they are bitter because they understand that hype isn't enough anymore to prop up an altcoin and that actual work needs to be done.

Exactly, I appreciate innovation but really, which coin is more likely to be adopted by a major company? The one dwelling in the little corner of bitcointalk with all its groupies hyping it as the next big thing, or the coin whose benefactors kick down the doors of investors and pitch directly to themselves?

People sometimes forget the end use of crypto is more important than whether how its mined or what algorithm it is using. Instead of waiting for Wallstreet to come to you, you have to go to them because any layman investor would just be overwhelmed spending just 5 minutes here or worse on a crypto trollbox.

Seems to me the only social crime being committed here is the ZABD305 team has spent the last few months working quietly among themselves instead of appeasing the teenagers on Reddit and BTCtalk with daily FUD updates.

Personally i'm more encouraged that a team is out there trying to work deals in the real world instead of jerking everyones chain on a silly forum all day talking about what a coin "could" do. There is some nice discussions here but this isn't the God anointed end-all place for crypto either, developers shouldn't HAVE to grace us with their presence just to gain legitimacy.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 07, 2014, 09:34:40 PM

Clearly this large bag holder is an exchange and money moving out of cold storage because zetacoin is active. Check the volumes out but i'm sure you know this already.

Now go back to the dark hole where you came from and don't cheat zetacoin believers into selling too soon. The ride has only just begun.

+1  Cheesy

Agree, +1

I don't mind people being skeptical or having a difference of opinion, but it is silly to try and argue 1,000 people owning half the Bitcoins in the world is somehow "fair-er", just a couple of these whales dumping at once can inflict a lot of damage just as one guy with 25% in all honesty.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 07, 2014, 04:20:54 PM

Why set up multi million dollar farms when you can buy 10k coins with 4 millions?

Why mine period when you can just buy? It is all speculation on ROI either way.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 07, 2014, 03:46:40 PM

It's still 16% of the coins mined so far , not 23% of all coins that will be mined like in case of zeta.
And what you're saying about bitcoin are assumptions , while  in this case we have proofs.

We still have no proof it is an individual or an exchange wallet either way. Anyway I don't like the idea of someone owning 23% either, but I don't like the idea of 1000 people owning half of the Bitcoins as well. Bitcoin is no more fairly distributed than the traditional wealth and finance world which goes directly against what Satoshi intended. And while more coins can be mined in the future, who has the money anymore to mine and accumulate a significant chunk of Bitcoins but big multi-million dollar mining farms? Bitcoin is not decentralized like people think.
