Is it just me or are BTC confirmations taking forever today?
Are you sending to cryptsy? Last couple of times I sent some they tool a long while to land... Im putting it down to the lower price of BTC meaning more moving about... No actually, just moving between wallets. I'm sure I had to wait 40 mins for 1 confirmation earlier. Last six block happened in the last 1 hour and 10 minutes, nothing really unusual, but there is one that took 40 min... I guess bad luck. I read a lot about blocks taking longer because their difficulty takes longer to adjust, but I don't see it happening. Probably because most hashing power can't be repurposed and they can still pay the electricity. Must have just been bad timing on my part then  |

50k on finex now and 25 on craptsy. looks like otoh wants to have 250 nodes wow.. he doubled it edit : and make that 75 MN's.. not 250    Greeeeen with envy. Lets see those walls eaten up for Otoh |

Some guys on different chats tried to convince me that Darksend is tracable.
Is there missing some explanation of how darksend works, or they just spreading FUD?
Here's a link to the response from our lead dev to the results of an independent security review that we had done. https://darkcointalk.org/threads/reply-to-kristovs-paper.2325/Since then, most if not all problems have been fixed. There is a lot of FUD about Darksend because there is growing competition with private transactions. If somebody has found a way to trace transactions then they are welcome to report it to the dev team. There are significant bounties payable for such info. As far as the community is concerned, a darksend transaction has never been traced despite thousands of attempts to trace one. |

Anyone else having trouble running the latest binary for Linux with p2pool? Common reasons for this include all of bitcoind's connection slots being used... Cheers. Rolled back to the previous version & everything is working again - so it would seem that the latest binary is broken with p2pool? Anyone?  Its better to ask questions like this on Darkcointalk. Or raise it as an issue on Jira. I think there is a thread over there covering this issue. Vertoe is investigating I think. |

Not addressed to me, but anyway just to mention LTC has been good to me the last week or so   I closed my short and am looking to show DRK a little Wall-E love in time for it's first birthday By now I think everyone knows that If a whale publicly hints a pump then that means the opposite is going to happen Nice try Otoh. Fork might be the wrong word... well sorry evan "called" it the same he said this "Fork from Bitcoin 0.9.3 taking advantage of nearly 2 years of development to the Bitcoin core client" my bet We literally forked Bitcoin 0.9.3 then implemented every change that was done to Darkcoin the entire year on top of the new client. We're no longer based on the Litecoin codebase, which is good because it seems like they have no interest in maintaining it. Wow. I'm running latest version of darkcoin wallet and I'm trying to run a mix of 10DRK/3 rounds.
It's at 66% percent for a couple of hours and now instead of having around 120DRK in my wallet as confirmed it shows around 20DRK Available and 100DRK as Pending?
What does this mean?
It means 100DRK is still to be mixed. I think that darksend improvements won't be visible until the majority of masternodes have updated... |
