So I guess tomorrow is definitely the time the ANN / Website / Forum will attack full frontal with a triple-attack-combo!

As always, remember to take a backup of your wallet.dat Smiley

You should send an email to the exchanges and remind them too. Quite a lot of people have their coins there  Grin

Good point brains!

Update:

Website is >95% finished, and so is the ANN thread draft (I gave the ANN thread a similar design as the website).

Right now I am finishing the forum (adding spam reduction, moving everything to new server)

I am also working on the linux 32 and 64 bit builds (this takes most of the time, since I want to make them as statically linked as possible.)

When I have the forum and the linux builds ready we can go online.  Smiley

great georgem ...

sounds like a lot of work ...

will you have the source in git for our own linux builds? ...

#crysx

The source is still the original one, I am not doing any change in the code right now, just replacing the missing linux builds.

o ok ...

that source just refuses to work when compiled ...

ive pulled my hair out many a time trying to get it all functional with sgminer ...

i use sp's ccminer for the nvidia systems - but 1/4 of the farm is amd - 280x cards ...

its that build that pains me ...

#crysx

Are you sure you are building it the right way up?  It might have been coded in the northern hemisphere...

Thanks for your hard work mate.  Whilst you're here, fancy a quick debate on who I should vote for in the upcoming UK general election?

I am an anarchist, I don't think that voting is doing anybody any good, apart from giving the population the illusion that they are in control (when they are clearly not!).

Fancy enough as a quick debate?  Grin

Update: Tuesday, 28 April 2015

Developer Q&A for ShadowMarket!

The Shadow Project development team is racing to finish Shadow’s decentralized marketplace and bring you a truly anonymous e-commerce platform, but that doesn’t mean we’re leaving you all on the sidelines. Now that the ShadowMarket release is drawing closer, we will try answering all of your questions so we can share with you our vision for the first truly anonymous decentralized marketplace.

The developer Q&A will provide an opportunity for non-developer end users and community members to ask questions about the upcoming ShadowMarket directly to some of the developers responsible for writing the code. Keep in mind that ShadowMarket is still under development, so we may not be able to answer all of your questions, but we have plenty of info to share, so we’re sure we can satisfy your curiosity.

For this Q&A, we’ll gather most of your questions on Slack (#ShadowQnA), so be sure to join the community to take part. You can also submit your questions via Twitter by using the hashtag #ShadowQnA, or simply by replying to this forum thread. As we’d like to get to as many questions as possible, we’ll only consider questions that use 50 words or less, and all questions must be submitted before Friday, May 8. Keep in mind that we’re focusing on the ShadowMarket for this Q&A session—questions on other topics will not be answered.

We look forward to reading and answering all of your questions.

Best regards,

The Shadow Team

This is really good to see, especially in a time that we have a lot of altcoins that have only existed for a few weeks claiming to be delivering workable marketplaces in a similar short time scale of days or weeks.

Lets see which marketplaces are better.  The ones that are copied and pasted from code that many devs have found problems with and rejected or the marketplace that is being written from the ground up with community engagement and consideration of the lessons learned form the drawbacks with the various opensource marketplaces that are about to be pasted into coins that I won't name for fear of the onslaught of FUD and trolling.

I have a feeling I know which marketplace will be a long term contender.

@crysx

What GMT time suits you?

preferable if during the mid day for me ... but that also depends on what jobs i have on ...

but more than likely 1200 midday adelaide time ...

that may throw everyone off - as there doesnt seem to be many australians here ...

#crysx

There are only about 20m of you in Australia Wink

The population of the metropolitan area of London is about 10m.  I feel incredibly jealous of the space you guys must have. Ok, a lot of it is desert but thats better than urban sprawl  Embarrassed

hehehe ... believe it or not - the desert is actually no where near the cities and urban sprawl Smiley ...

most of it is in the heart of australia ... with all the kangaroos and wallabies and wildlife and flora ... its really not like you see in teh movies ... unless you travel deep into australia itself ...

the cities are gorgeous ( sydney especially - where im from ) and i will agree that we do have a great deal of space compared to most other cities in the world ...

someone should win lotto and pay for everyone to come here and stay for a week ... meeting all you guys and gals would be awesome ...

#crysx

I can imagine the logistics of building a city in the Australian interior would be quite tricky Cheesy

but believe me ... if the usa can do it with vegas ... we can too ...

we just too damn broke as a country to try ... hehehe ...

I banished from my small village of Likwang. I village idiot, and cause many trouble! Wise man of village tell me... go to place where I fit in. He send me here!

Bob Surplus is village idiot in crypto. He finished. Nobody like, or trust! Spoetnik act like village idiot, and sometime... he is village idiot, but he also speak truth many times. I wise man now telling Bob where to go where he fit in... Bob, go to Hell! Poopooface Tongue

This is Bob doing what he was taught to do since birth. Its not his fault. He was raised to value shiny things, not humans. We not humans to Bob. Just opportunity... nothing more.

I'm sure that most people were first attracted to crypto by the opportunity to make friends rather than make some money.

I shouldn't pour salt on your wound, but here goes.  I placed a 2 DRK bet on Celtic to win the Scottish Premiership this season.  I used your address as the payout.  This accomplishes a couple of things.

1 - It tests the "timelock" feature of (currently) DRK as the funds won't be available until April 22.
2 - It puts 2.12 (currently) DRK in your wallet.
3 - It is a placeholder for anyone wishing to join in, the address is below.
4 - It makes a good question for a poll:

ON April 22, will the price of DASH be:

A - Below $3 USD,
B - Between $3 USD and $5 USD
C - Between $5 USD and $99 USD
D - $100 USD

Celtic 8 points in the lead with 4 games to go. Cheesy

We all did stupid things, bro. Joining the Heritage Front is in a league of its own. I'm surprised you would play with this clown tbh.

Bro.. People change.. Murderers Change, Crack dealers change, racists change... If he was a pedo it would have been game over.. But a neo nazi as a kid, i can live with that... I was a fucked up kid myself dude and some of you would say things I did were in a league of their own too.

Anyway.. Im no Adam fanboy.. I just see an angle here that some of you are missing I guess.

I dunno. So long as you can live with it I guess. I draw my line at Nazis, you draw yours after. What can I say? Good luck Sad

Once a snake, always a snake.

Dont worry mayor. Anyone who has been here long enough knows that bob is just a shit stain on the crypto scene

I'd genuinely like to know how many people on here who proclaim Bob to be a shit stain have a remote idea of what his involvements and dealings are compared to those who may have a genuine grievance against him.

The man's good at making money.  If he's broken the law doing so, then talk to LEA.  If you're just pissed off that he made some money from you then maybe its time to focus some of your anger into your own game.

If Bob is a shit stain, he's not the only shit stain in crypto.  He's not even the only shit stain who has posted on this page proclaiming that Bob is a shit stain.  The altcoin scene is a mess right now, full of scams, P&Ds, thousands of people after a quick buck and a handful of honest projects desperately trying to keep some visibility so they can hopefully one day innovate and those "honest" projects are full of people wanting to make a quick buck.  Even some of the good projects are starting to start fights with each other in a desperate attempt to get ahead (see various anti-DRK/Dash threads everywhere).

As far as I can tell, Bob takes a lot of flack for being one of the more successful shit stains in crypto.  I say this because I can count the number of people I know to be trustworthy in this industry on my fingers.

Your right bob is not the only shit stain in crypto. There are many others.

Bob doesn't necessarily need to be the biggest shit stain with corn and other chunks sticking out of that stain to still be a shit stain.

And no, i never lost any money to bob. Also i could careless that he may or may not be successful .

A stain is just that, a stain. A stain makes the whole scene appear scammy.

Its damn near impossible to see the clean bits in amongst the stains right now and from where I'm standing with the shit thats going on in altcoins at the moment I wouldn't be able to say whether Bob is standing on a nice clean patch of cotton or sitting on an undigested chunk of sweetcorn.

If I have learned some things on here number 1 is don't believe anything you read about somebody else especially if the thread is specifically about them and number 2 is form your own opinions based on your own experiences.  DYOR/FYOO
