2041  Other / Off-topic / Re: What’s your favorite Nike sneaker? on: December 06, 2021, 06:17:12 PM
I don’t mind, it’s a great brand & I feel comfortable wearing most of them. If I had to pick then I guess I prefer a more retro style.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: December 03, 2021, 06:14:12 PM
ETH is pretty well established, it’s going to take a lot to usurp it as numero deux to bitcoin. Maybe Solano can compete but it’s going to be a few years.
2043  Other / Off-topic / Re: China back in the Crypto game on: December 03, 2021, 03:56:15 PM
Not sure where you’re getting this from but most miners have been banished from China. Exchanges are closing accounts of people from mainland China. Basically crypto is over in China, they're bringing out their own CBDC shitcoin & they don’t want any of their people using bitcoin or any other crypto.
2044  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need small loan 0.01 worth of BNB for gas fee on: December 03, 2021, 03:40:47 PM
You should post your request in this forum: Economy > Marketplace > Lending

I strongly recommend that you read the forum rules before posting in that forum.

He’s got no collateral & has no intention of paying back any money that anybody is stupid enough to send him. Probably best to let this thread die & let’s not encourage him to post anywhere else.
2045  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again, Vaneck, SolidX withdraw proposal on: December 02, 2021, 10:01:58 PM
It is really sad to see SEC dragging their feet this much on this topic. I get that they want to do it properly but the reality is that we are talking about something that is inevitable, so them postponing it for years now is not really a solution. I mean if it was something that may never happen unless someone comes up with a brilliant plan, then I would understand them waiting for it to happen for this long.

However, a few years later in the future we are going to see ETF everywhere, and we will have plenty of nations doing it as well, so USA and SEC will have to come up with a reason for postponing this much and start accepting everything after a point.

They don’t want to protect investors. It’s just an excuse, they don’t want average joe to start getting interested in buying bitcoin because they are scared as hell bitcoin is competition for the $.
Gensler even said similar yesterday.

Any way it doesn’t matter, they will have to bend their knee in the years to come or get left behind all other countries.
2046  Other / Off-topic / Re: 💪 Crypto+Gym ? on: December 02, 2021, 09:56:58 PM
Anyone here going to gym and workout on daily basis ?

I go for long walks daily, it gets me kinda out of breath & gives me a certain level of fitness. Does that count?
Obviously I’m heavily into bitcoin too.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: December 02, 2021, 09:49:52 PM
Every time you panic sell, whales like Saylor are gobbling up cheap coins. There will be loads of institutions & individuals like Saylor buying but remaining quiet, probably OTC buys. The smart money knows bitcoin is tye future. Don’t get shaken out, be patient.
2048  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need small loan 0.01 worth of BNB for gas fee on: December 02, 2021, 09:43:22 PM
I suggest you lock this thread, I can close to guarantee you that nobody will give you a single sat. You're likely to receive negative trust for a no collateral loan request. I suppose you don’t care though as you are using a throw away account. This is also the wrong part of the forum for loan requests. Lock the thread though, have a bit of self respect.
2049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: December 02, 2021, 09:25:07 PM
Binance make money on fees from people buying & selling. They don’t care what the token/coin/asset is, if people are willing to trade it, they will list it. Don’t read too much into Binance promoting anything.
2050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ross Ulbricht is releasing an NFT collection for a charity on: December 02, 2021, 09:17:52 PM
I’m not keen on the whole NFT craze but I am saddened by the reaction to Ross over this. He is already suffering from what I consider overly harsh sentencing so cut the guy some slack. Whilst Silk Road did have some shady services, Ross wasn’t the one directly doing them. He is an important figure in bitcoins early life, show him some respect.
2051  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to forget her? on: December 02, 2021, 09:15:13 PM
Presumably you’re talking about a girl who you aren’t  with any more? I would suggest spending time with friends & family. Do things you enjoy, the feelings you have will fade & you will be OK.

2053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Career choice and school on: November 29, 2021, 07:52:21 PM
You’re on a bitcoin forum & you’re asking how to make money. Look at the returns bitcoin has given investors over its relatively short existence. You’re not too late, work hard & buy bitcoin regularly. HODL for many years & voila, generational wealth.
2054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: November 29, 2021, 07:01:37 PM
In all honesty, it’s not enough to ‘make it’, certainly not for at least another decade or two. Bitcoin is still one of the very best savings tools though so DCA’ing will put you in a good position at retirement age or something. If you are a noob investing now, it will take you a while to get rich.
2055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: November 29, 2021, 06:41:14 PM
Musk is one of the most intelligent people in the world but he’s also a bit of a troll online & he really enjoys himself at other peoples expense maybe. He’s not an idiot so he won’t be buying an alt with such a huge supply any time soon.
2056  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it normal not to have a partner/boyfriend? on: November 29, 2021, 06:38:59 PM
It’s normal to have a partner/bf but it’s also normal to be single. There is somebody out there for everybody, you will meet somebody, probably when you least expect it.
2057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 25, 2021, 01:58:50 PM
Condolences to anyone who will be facing "Bitcoin fell $12,000" around the dining table today. Cheesy

Ask them how much money they’ve made in the last 12-18 months (realised or unrealised). Show them your bitcoin balance & tell them what the price was 12-18 months ago. That will wipe the smile from their HFSP faces.

Happy Thanksgiving WO.
2058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 25, 2021, 01:32:34 PM
Don’t trust what big corps say regarding investments, especially financial ones. They don’t care about you, they don’t want the little guys to do well.
2059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors prefer coin memes, new trends or seasonal henya? on: November 25, 2021, 01:21:07 PM
The only investors who prefer meme coins are newbies poor people who think it’s too expensive to buy BTC or ETH etc. Not many calculated, mature investors buy meme coins.
2060  Other / Off-topic / Re: BlueBorne Virus affects all bluetooth devices. Turn your bluetooth off! on: November 25, 2021, 01:14:50 PM
I always have Bluetooth turned off. I don’t like being in a public area & my phone being accessible/visible by anybody else. I suggest to follow the OP & turn yours off.
