litecoin seems like a dying language. no new things.
dunno about that, there is a ETF on the cards following up after the BTC ETF, then btc/ltc will be in proper investment circles and bounds ahead of anything trapped in this niche market.

Is now the time to but or get the hell out as quick as you can ?
Got to love playing the markets haven't you, Im seriously thinking of buying, what do you all think ?
Cheers Mark
Litecoin is like a lot of other coins, it's down and down hard. The next phase of growth will come from coins with the hardest working communities. To me, that looks like Dogecoin at the moment. Dogecoin is the gangnam style of the crypto world, it'll be yesterday news in no time.

I do not understand several facts about this coin, can someone clarify please ? First: Specifications Total Coin: 100,000,000 CFCThis is 100 milions ? I think yes, but in such case what is your giveaway amount ? How to get CFC? (please don't repeat the claim.) 1.400,000CFC /person (BTT Sr. Member) 2.200,000CFC /person (BTT full member) 3.100,000CFC /person (BTT member) 4.50,000CFC/person (BTT 20+ posts )1.400,000 ? what is this ? 1.4 milions ? or 1400 (1.4k) ? And why sr.member may receive smaller amount of coins than full member and why full member receives smaller amount than member ? Thank you very much for any clarification ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) 1) 400 000 CFC etc

None of late from this niche community will overtake bitcoin, however something commercial may in the longterm. Most the flavors of the week here will die.
I also think (and maybe called crazy here for doing so) longterm ltc could surpass btc (just from an investors on the street point of view due to fairness, well percieved fairness).
LTC fails on it's original goal of being ASIC resistant. I'm sure that would deter investors from further putting their money in the coin, as it's value would only go down over time...look at the charts, it's already went down over 30%. Most of those old coins are not doing so well, Peercoin, Primecoin, Litecoin, there prices are only getting lower as people lose interest and move away from them. It's the new coins like Darkcoin, that would end up taking the lead and the spot right next to Bitcoin. You're talking from the point of view of this little niche crowd, both BTC and LTC are heading wallstreet investors. They don't care about mining whatsoever. BTC will have a ETF in a year + then there is a followup LTC one. thats when the scene will really heat up. BTW LTC was never designed to be ASIC resistant, ASIC was a non issue at the time of LTC creation.

Thanks Einstein ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Well its obvious Bitcoin could add anything of value that's tested in the alt community, that's the great thing about alts, a live testing environment for things that could be implemented into btc or testing what to do in future btc scenarios. Having said that and been around btc awhile and used it regularly bitcoin is shite. Completely off track of its own purpose as per initial white paper. Not user friendly at all, slow, bulky and unstable clients on many OS. Bitcoin team has lost its balls so to speak, more worried about regulations and not damaging btc price in USD, then the true value of the concept. I've said it once I'll say it 1 thousand times, the only good/useful thing to come out of cryptocurrencies to this point is the idea.

THE FACTS ABOUT DARK COIN
1. released without windows QT so that only dev and pals could mine it.
2. Instamined harder than any other coin out there 12.5% of the current minting was mined in the first day
3. Later they decided to cut the minting by 75% to turn their 12.5% instamine with no windows QT into 50% instamine in 24hours - nice hey
yes that is correct they mined 50% of all the coins available at this time by themselves in the first 24 hours whilst windows users could not mine.
That is the facts.... doesn't matter what else they say... nothing can change what they have done.
Once zero coin, or bytecoin with a decent wallet it released or another darkcoin clone is released.... dark coin will sink like a stone.
+1
