Looking on Bittrex orderbook...there are HUGE amounts of bdg selling, it's not about the coin supply but the fact that 10 million coin generated in just 2 weeks means a lot of coins immediately in the hands of miners, so the coin will have to survive the dump of this huge amount of coins (miners mine for profit not for PoS) on the market before getting a decent price. Because that is determined by the market offer/demand before than coin supply. I like the idea of the coin, not sure about this first phase though. Actually there are many problems, like in the rest of the world... World economy is too dependent on USD, so all USD problems are the world problems. That's why some subjects are trying to drop of USD dependency.  Do you have some info on the economic growth of Russia for the last two years? Trimester by trimester if not monthly?

Something weird is happening... Chinese exchanges are up but stamp and btce are dumping  Could it be the chinese dumping at other exchanges? Why would this have happened today and why would Chinese not sell on their own exchange for the higher price? I don't know.. maybe because of the coming holiday Not much people will catch their dump during that time  Maybe there's no one else buying on their exchanges... fake buy and sell orders... LOL! Chinese playing the trendreversal.avi movie clip on their exchanges then other exchanges follow it.. Then dump to those exchanges... LOL! I'm wondering how many times the words China and Chinese have been mentioned in this thread. Might do a script to find this out later. |

From the budget, i.e. the rest of Russia. At least for the first 2-3 years. Even 2-3 years may not be necessary. A lot of Russian tourists are traveling to Crimea now. Most of them had earlier preferred destinations such as Goa, Egypt & Turkey. Also, a number of casinos are planning to open in Crimea. They will also bring in the much needed revenues. I bet! Right now it's the perfect time to enter Crimea. That's why a lot of ships are switching their destination from Crimea (Ialta and Sevastopol) to Constanta. Currently 7 companies doing cruises have done so , our port is seeing a 25% growth in tourists and this during this time of the year. There will be no huge influx of Russian tourists to Crimea , the ones that wanted to visit it have already done so , the ones wanting to get out of Russia will still flood Turkey. |

The transition from 500 to 277 coins per block occurs between 3250 and 3500 but this author did not see the necessity of getting the exact moment of halving. Simple math shows that 3250 blocks multiplied by 500 coins a block is 1,625,000 Darkcoins created between the times of 3:54 and 11:22 on January 19th, 2014. As of today there are around 4,300,000 DRK in existence, making this a pretty hefty instamine. The Darkcoin website expects around 22,000,000 DRK to be created. That means in less than 8 hours, almost 5% of the Darkcoins that ever will be created spawned in that 1/3 of a day. It's safe to say Darkcoin has left it's investors in the dark on this one. |
