Had a look into proudhon’s posting history. He’s a butt hurt early adopter who sold everything way, way, way too early. He could have been incredibly wealthy but sold everything for pittance. Evidence - I believe roach has a similar story too (selling way early when it was $600) but Since I don't care enough to read his posts I am not going to dig it. I don't think Proudhon is as poor as he wants us to think. Don't take his posts too serious. |

Meantime I just ditched a job offer with 60k more money simply because they wanted me to pee in a cup. Fuck that. I have bitcoins, I'm not putting up with that shit.  Well done. I have in the past wondered what I would do if I had to take a drug test, and I have come to the conclusion that I would give them two choices, either I pee in the cup (just to prove I'm not on drugs) and then i quit, or they trust me and I stay on. Being financially independent of course helps. |

If you study the charts and the confirmed data you can clearly see that this marks the end of the short-term, irrational up-trend. We've resumed bitcoin's downtrend. Like I said earlier, $15k is likely unobtainable (on any time-scale). Bitcoin will never set ATHs again. Soon it'll be clear enough to everyone in the market. 2017 was bitcoin's last big move. The downtrend will hold. By 2020 $10k bitcoins will be a dream. 2021, $1k. By the end of that decade bitcoin will be a hilarious memory.

This is unsustainable. The price will be under $10k before the end of the year, and stay there until Libra takes over. Bitcoin is done. Short bitcoin.

“Computer says no” bullshit.
You CAN'T have multiple people depositing into your account with no official paperwork associated. Heck, you CAN'T even regularly deposit substantial amounts of cash into your account by YOURSELF without proper explanation. It is the way it is. doesn't mean it's not bullshit Definitely bullshit. Like in Sweden where it's impossible to deposit cash into half the banks. WTF Can a swede put his own cash money into his own bank? Computer says no. True, but they are loosing a lot of clients to the banks that still handle cash. I changed to Forex Bank several years ago. They are both a bank and a forex, they handle not only Swedish cash but all major currencies, they are also open seven days a week. The one I use open 07:00 and closes 18:00 on weekdays, somewhat earlier during the weekend. And there is an other one in town that is open 07:00 to 20:00 seven days a week. That's better than any bank I have ever used before. All services including internet banking and bank/Visa card cost 2 USD a month. Until last April it was free of charge, and I get 0,35% interest. They do ask questions when I deposit cash, but they all do that, it's the new EU anti money laundering rules, there is no bank that doesn't do that. But they do it in a nice and friendly manner. Also no problem withdrawing your money, no questions asked, and you can deposit them back, no questions asked if you go to the same office and bring the receipt from the withdrawal. |
