3081  Other / Meta / Re: NEW SPAMMER EXPOSED !! MUST READ INSIDE !! [NEED MOD FOR ACTION] on: November 09, 2015, 04:06:36 AM
I would like to inform the both of you that at this point in your conversation you have both become Spammers.
This is a conversation to be had via PM, and if you really think it's necessary give a moderator a PM as well.. but I see no need to continue bantering this way in public.
3082  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Repunza do chargback with paypal on: November 09, 2015, 04:01:29 AM
This user was attempting to purchase more BTC for Paypal just earlier today and was using marcos258 as a vouch.
This is pretty disgraceful, but this user should definitely be tagged before he hurts somebody else's pocket.
3083  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMED FOR $4.50 IN MARKETPLACE BY USER: Ninjahitoko on: November 09, 2015, 03:58:33 AM
In my opinion you are not entitled to a refund, you are entitled to the product you paid for.. Which is a stolen NBA league-pass that is highly liable to not work at any given time and should be purchased/checked long before the game you wish to watch.

As long as he provides you with a working NBA league pass I do not see this as a valid scam, but seeing as there is no way to actually verify if he provides you with a working pass other than your own personal verification.. Huh
3084  Other / Meta / Re: NEW SPAMMER EXPOSED !! MUST READ INSIDE !! [NEED MOD FOR ACTION] on: November 09, 2015, 03:53:25 AM
I can see how it would be annoying for you to receive these repeated ratings from the same user, however I want you to know that most people do not care about untrusted feedback in the first place.
Nobody cares about reputation given to you from somebody who also has massive amounts of negative feedback, and it's reasons like this that there is a Default Trust.

I'm sorry that he is bothering you, but admins do not mess with reputations almost ever.
3085  Other / Meta / Re: Un-Watched Thread, Still Watching? on: November 09, 2015, 03:15:12 AM
Thanks for all the replies guys; I'm aware of my options now and I'll just be managing my Watchlist more thoroughly.
Somehow I honestly just overlooked the fact that I even had a separate watchlist section.

Locking the thread. Smiley
3086  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Don't trust tigerdirect EVER EVER! on: November 09, 2015, 03:13:25 AM
I think your thread would have more credibility with some pictures, screen-caps and order information potentially.
We want to be able to see what's going on with the order and we want cold hard facts.

People have used tigerdirect a lot, it was a reputable business the last I checked.. Are you positive you are using a valid link and not a scam/redirect?
3087  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB .15 BTC via PP on: November 09, 2015, 01:40:46 AM
I would be willing to handle this for you at about 15% as well, but I can see you're not interested in that amount..

Is there any particular reason that you haven't contacted a trusted-exchanger directly via PM or on their thread?
I can name 3 or 4 off the top of my head that accept Paypal from members for rates much lower than you'll get from people who aren't really exchangers such as myself.

I've dealt with marcos258, lihuajkl, bitspender, etc. I wrote lihuajkl and got a price. But he hasn't given me an address to send him payment yet. I dont wont to use the previous address we used without his permission. We maybe in two different areas of the world.

It seems extremely fool-hardy for you to include the name of someone you scammed in with people you've done business with.

Personally I hope they open proper scam accusation threads against you so that DT can tag you for what you've done, but I wish you the best of luck regardless if your intentions are genuine. Roll Eyes
3088  Other / Meta / Re: a way to stop signature spammers by punishing the campaign managers on: November 09, 2015, 01:35:31 AM
Your idea has potential, but I think that we can come down on the signature campaign owners too hard because then this discourages campaigns to be run at all, which is helpful towards the economy of our community.

I will say however that I do like the idea of punishing them by some degree.. I think that it would make the job of signature campaign managers a million times more difficult, but it would also make signature campaigns a little more competitive as they should be.
3089  Economy / Digital goods / Re: S-- Sr Member Account on: November 09, 2015, 01:28:14 AM
You are attempting to get .25 BTC for a Senior member account I don't see that being the case.

You can probably ask for half of that, especially considering all the signature campaigns have lowered their rate according to the new BTC jump.
I know I could go pick up an account just as prestigious for about half of what you're asking.
3090  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan of 0.04 BTC on: November 09, 2015, 12:04:48 AM
I'm not defending amazonrefunder1 and i'm not interested in making a case as if I'm on the stand before a jury.
I'm just saying there is proof and evidence of him positively dealing with users around the forum and I happen to be one of them.

I still would look at the glaringly obvious scam attempts and successes however, and take every precaution possible when dealing with this user..
3091  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell xbox one accounts on: November 08, 2015, 11:50:15 PM
I am potentially interested in purchasing the new Black Ops from you.

Are you willing to accept escrow?

I noticed you can not offer up any vouch copies, but I am wondering if there is a potential discount for your first buyer? Smiley
3092  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan of 0.04 BTC on: November 08, 2015, 11:43:51 PM
I have dealt positively with this user in the past. He purchased something from me and provided the BTC up front.
I'm not sticking up for his past actions, but I will say he's not all bad.

That being said I would fund this loan if and only if proper collateral is to be provided.
3093  Other / Meta / Re: Why post count stay 28? on: November 08, 2015, 11:23:47 PM
As another general rule of thumb; once you have received an adequate reply on your question/thread it's in everyone's best interest that you lock it at the bottom left hand side of the page.

This would avoid receiving the same answer said in different words 50x Smiley
3094  Other / Meta / Un-Watched Thread, Still Watching? on: November 08, 2015, 09:50:00 PM
I'm wondering how to make a thread stop popping up in the "Show new replies to your posts" section. I assumed that Un-Watching a thread would make this happen , however this is not the case and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do?
3095  Other / Meta / Re: Why post count stay 28? on: November 08, 2015, 09:35:51 PM
My post count stay now at 28, even when I am making more post.

Anyone explain it?

Thanks

You should take a peak at the stickies around this forum because they really go a long way towards explaining how things work around here.
Activity is better explained here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0)

Your post count is showing 40+, however your activity is still sitting at 28 because it is based off of time-constraints.
3096  Economy / Lending / Re: 2btc requested in pa with vehicle title as collateral on: November 08, 2015, 09:31:29 PM
Having the title to a car you could potentially junk for just as much money as you could sell, especially when it's such a low-valued vehicle isn't much collateral.
For all we know you're planning on burning this car and using the title as a way to scam someone out of 2BTC.

Holding on to the title when the car is practically garbage means nothing; You could have over-paid for this car, found out mechanical issues and are now attempting to make up loss.

I'm sorry your story doesn't hold up to my paranoid scrutiny, and I suggest you find different collateral or a different means to liquidate your vehicle.

that doesnt not make sense at all dude. you could not junk a car for close to the value of it . the car was just inspected in october.  The buyer would come see as i already said numerous and requested someone in my area so nothing you said makes any sense at all. How do you think title loans work in real life genius? they are inspected by the potential lender. I went over this already. Please at least read the posts already here before creating some elaborate scam scenario in your head. These loans happen everywhere everyday in the world, just not with bitcoin.

Please stop just rambling angrily like a child every time someone has a legitimate concern about the way you're attempting to transact business. Everything I said makes perfect sense and the fact that you choose to entirely re-direct my question, rather than answer it really does say a lot.

I'm just saying that it would be extremely easy for you to get into an "accident", "total it" or do something else to end it up in the junkyard and render the collateral without value.
My point being is this "title loan" going to be complex and in-depth enough to have contingency clauses and alternative collateral?
3097  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB .15 BTC via PP on: November 08, 2015, 09:14:10 PM
BUYER BEWARE! There is now a scam accusation against this member and I don't suggest dealing with him until it's been dealt with or sorted out.

3098  Other / Archival / Re: ★☆★ [Work for BTC] = [25$ - 1000$ monthly ] ★☆★ on: November 08, 2015, 09:11:33 PM
I see you're looking for a paypal to Bitcoin exchanger.
I used to do that service for members of another forum long ago I would be willing to do the same for you here.

I have verified exchange accounts for all major bitcoin exchanges, and my Paypal is fully verified with speedy bank withdrawals.
Let me know if you have any interest
