2641  Economy / Goods / Re: MYSTERY BOX!!!1 - HIGH SATISFACTION FOR MAKING CUSTOMER WITH MOST HAPPINESS on: January 10, 2018, 09:10:39 AM
Wow.

That's basically my review in a nutshell and I have nothing except positivity for this mystery box; I had no idea what to expect and quite frankly I did not expect much, especially after seeing that expensive 2-day shipping was used to deliver the box.

I popped open my box and it was absolutely bursting with items, stuffed to the brim, to maximum capacity with things to unbox. A couple of the things were actually items I had planned to buy this coming week anyways, which was extremely convenient and lucky. It was like Christmas, only a couple of weeks late.

I wish I was able to share the items I received without ruining the fun for future participants of the Mystery Box, but let me tell you it exceeded expectations and I got way more value than I thought I would have. I unreservedly give my recommendation for dealing with TECSHARE, stand-up guy who went the extra mile to make payment arrangements with me, delivered early, didn't require escrow and gave me at least $50 worth of stuff (estimate). I have immediate uses for about 90% of the items I received and the other 10% I know exactly who to gift them to.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sharing my CS:GO bets! [0/0] Profit: +/- on: January 09, 2018, 07:52:42 PM
-snip-
I actually think that there is a certain demographic here on this forum that does enjoy CS:GO betting, but it's probably just a smaller niche.
Still, I've come across quite a few topics here in the gambling section asking about CS:GO betting with Bitcoin or asking about betting on e-sports in general.
-snip-

I do think OP should post his picks anyway, there's going to be at least some interest.

There's certainly people interested in CS:GO betting, but I'd feel confident saying that there are people around here that would enjoy "Rock, Paper, Scissors" betting if there was a site or service to support it. I wonder how large that niche would be; I'd be willing to bet that it would be a similar size niche, so while I've seen with my own two eyes the interest in CS:GO betting I am not so sure that the interest necessarily stems from CS:GO. We have more desperate gamblers willing to throw coin at any opportunity than we have CS:GO fans hanging around the forums, at least as far as I know.

Again though, there definitely is interest in OP throwing their picks up here as I am one of those interested. I'd be willing to make small bets alongside, or at the very least watch the games live and keep up with the thread to make sure the picks are held to some degree of integrity. Not to say that OP wouldn't handle them with integrity, but of course it would have some weight if those of us already in the thread maintained our involvement to see this through, whether it's a bust or turns out to be the real deal seems to be our burden to bear at this point.

Still waiting to hear when OP will make their first prediction and I'm looking forward to reading their analysis.
2643  Economy / Goods / Re: I will buy anything you own in exchange for Crypto on: January 09, 2018, 10:17:08 AM
I've just recently filled out the forms on your site, as I'm trying to jump through the hoops you've asked so far. I'm only pulling your chain, or poking fun as the kids say, in all honesty your form is pretty simple and it really only asks for the necessary information to identify what you are attempting to sell. It allows for pictures, specifics, categories, descriptions, etc. It allows OP to get a full picture of what they are purchasing prior to contacting you with more questions or an offer. My only concern so far about this service after just filling out these forms is that it asks for your full name and address. I understand you do not need to provide this information and it certainly does not need to be accurate (unless your item needs to be shipped back, for whatever reason). I always get sketchy about "unofficial" 3rd parties asking for personally identifiable information that can be used for marketing, malicious purposes or other unsavory acts.

its a very great and cool idea , i want to know do you also buy stuff from people from other countries?

As far as I know the seller (you) pays for the shipping cost for your item, therefore it would only be logical that they would accept items from you as long as you are willing to pay for the shipping cost. They are paying in crypto, and you are paying the shipping fees so I cannot figure out why they would be unwilling to accept items from other countries. The only thing that may potentially be an issue is customs and local laws/jurisdictions taking issue or imposing tariffs on your goods.

I'm waiting for your responses to my form, looking forward to discussing more and hammering down a price so that I can start using your service, write up a review and sell you more stuff.

I have a ton of stuff I could sell you.   Computer parts (SSD’s, RAM), car parts, kids toys, etc.
-snip-

I have a lot of similar items that I would be interested in dishing out, would these also be something you're interested in? I'll fill out the form if so.
2644  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: January 08, 2018, 01:34:34 PM
Hey BoXXoB, I wanted to stop by and let you know that I will no longer be participating in this signature campaign. I really appreciate you giving me the opportunity, and letting me represent BitDice for the short period that I did.

You made being a part of the campaign incredibly smooth and easygoing; I've left you a positive feedback for holding your end of the bargain, without any fuss or mess and being trustworthy enough that I didn't even worry about payment coming through, I knew it would happen. Thanks for being a stand-up campaign manager and I hope to get to work with you in the future.

I do not expect payment for this week, since I'm leaving about mid-way through a round/week; and since I was an "extra" participant as far as I can tell, I'm not sure if there will be an open slot for a Hero member. (up to BoXXoB, of course)

I simply got another opportunity that feels like a better fit, but I did not want to leave you without letting you know properly; it wouldn't feel right to just disappear without saying a thing. I would highly suggest to anyone looking for a campaign, throw your application for BoXXoB to look at and you won't be disappointed with how he runs things.
2645  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Gaming laptop gtx 960m, 1050ti or higher. on: January 08, 2018, 12:46:49 PM
Thx guys.  I wound up getting a steal on an EVGA SC17 with a gtx980m for about $900

That is a pretty good price for what you got, I can't fault you for getting yourself a great deal. Sometimes you have to treat yourself, and I can totally understand how a broken screen would be enough to turn you way, even if it's cheaper. I would've definitely let mine go for less than that, maybe even half of that if we're being honest; sometimes you just have to go with the best value and that's probably where you ended up.

If you're planning to use the graphics card for mining, I would definitely suggest trying to acquire a couple more cards or rigs to up your profit to significant enough numbers that it feels worth the effort/energy being put towards it. I might be completely off base though and for all I know you needed a laptop for your new interest of music producing, video editing or playing Steam games.

I appreciate you keeping us up to date so we don't continue to check the thread hopelessly. If you do plan on purchasing more rigs/cards just let me know, because my laptop/card probably won't be going anywhere unless I receive a decent offer on it. It sounds like you got a ridiculously low price on a very high-end newer model laptop, so I just want to throw out my basic disclaimers to you; if you're purchasing from a private party, like another user then definitely get an escrow involved in the transaction as to avoid many headaches that could come your way. If you've purchased this from a corporation I would snag the insurance, because things always tend to go wrong with the higher end laptops. If you purchased the laptop from an off-brand website, double-check you are actually getting what you paid for, because I've heard of some sites changing parts or mislabeling models just to make an extra buck. Good luck with your new laptop, hope it arrives to you safely and without malfunctions.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple way to earn Bitcoins through Gambling and Casino games. on: January 08, 2018, 12:00:44 PM
Let me just start by saying if you use gambling as a source of income, then you're probably doing it wrong. There's an older gentleman in my family that has never had a "real" job a day in his life; he has spent the last 60-odd years exclusively surviving off of his earnings from gambling. He "supported" (more or less) and raised 3 kids by doing nothing except gambling to put food on the table, clothes on their back and all the other things that come with being a provider.

Now and then you are able to find loopholes, exploits or just plain intelligent strategies that enable you to make consistent profit from gambling or casino games. This is not the regular or norm by any stretch of the imagination, even when it comes to trading or investing in stocks/Forex less than 1% of traders ever turn a profit consistently. Now many people wouldn't call Forex or stocks a gamble, but you've got to think if less than 1% of serious traders are profiting then how many regular gamblers do you think are turning a profit? If I had to guess, I would certainly assume there are less gamblers than traders/investors consistently profiting. I might be naive in thinking this, but gambling by it's nature is more random and volatile than a strategic investment/trading strategy.

There is no simple or easy way to earn bitcoins or fiat through gambling or casino games, else there would be an endless line of people attempting to take advantage of these methods until they've been sucked dry. Nobody is going to hand you a winning lottery ticket, but that's probably the simplest way to make some cash through gambling. Another simple way would be to be extremely lucky or riding coincidence and just repeatedly going all in. Anybody that is promising you an easy or simple way to make your dreams come true almost certainly has ulterior motives.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sharing my CS:GO bets! [0/0] Profit: +/- on: January 08, 2018, 11:11:39 AM
We have our own strategies of placing our bets especially when we know the flows of each dice or card. The important is that how you manage to place it in the right place knowing that it is also hard to predict weather you win or not but can also read weather the dice or card goes on. It is the matter of giving of time to read your card and what the players drop for you to understand what other card you drop for you to win the game. We have unique ways on how to place it.

Honestly I gave your post the best attempt I could to understand it in even the slightest manner. I've come up blank, unfortunately and I have no clue what you're talking about or how it relates to the topic we're discussing. There are no "cards" or "dice", I'm completely confused what you're talking about in any capacity. I've read it multiple times and I can't figure out for the life of me why you quoted my post as if you're replying to it.

There is no way you have some secret special strategy for "Cards"/"Dice" in CS:GO, when there is nothing of the sort. There is no way you have a solid strategy for any dice or card games when you are unable to make a coherent reply to a thread only 3-replies long.

Even if the thread was about dice and cards you have given no information, clarification or explanation as to what you're talking about. You talk about a vague strategy without context or explanation; you repeat yourself multiple times and quote my entire post without responding to it in anyway. It seems you quote posts and make irrelevant responses quite regularly, which leads me to believe you're just spamming around the forums without even making an attempt to contribute to these conversations. If you're speaking in deep-tongued metaphors that're going way over my head, then you have my sincerest apologies, but from where I'm standing it just looks like you smashed 10-words in different orders until it made a loosely-associated paragraph.

Have I missed something, or are you just not making much sense?
2648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sharing my CS:GO bets! [0/0] Profit: +/- on: January 08, 2018, 10:23:10 AM
Counter strike is a big game, alot more then just teenage market.   The game has been around since 1999 so its hardly going to contain just teenage boys, some of them werent alive when it was first made.

I wasn't trying to belittle anyone that plays Counter-Strike or the general demographics of the people it attracts. I was just saying that most people around here, even with 1999 being the original release, are uninterested in computer games or video games at all for that matter. A lot of users find that there is no interest when discussing, selling or offering services surrounding video-games; most are more interested in cryptography or something else that doesn't allow for much free time in terms of pursuing a video-game seriously.  I know plenty of grown adults that are hardworking, bill-paying home-owners that play Counter-Strike and watch the events live.

CS:GO in my opinion does for the most part attract younger teenagers, it feels like most of the older players that were playing in 1999 didn't enjoy the different engine and other changes made to their beloved Source. I'm not a teenager, and as I said I play the game so you're preaching to the choir about the broad demographics it reaches. Whenever I hop on Counter-Strike source it seems to be mostly young-adults, but I can't say the same for CS:GO; unless I'm playing ESEA, which is mostly young-adults as well.

By far and away the biggest demographic playing video games all together and specifically CS:GO would definitely be teenage boys though, there just is no disputing that.

CS itself is actually really hard to judge, I find the most predictable bets would be at a major where strategy comes into play.

It is incredibly hard to predict the outcome, because there is variance to everything within this game from human error to bullet-pray variance. Similar to combat sports, it's almost impossible to predict the outcome because the smallest things can change the entire game-play. Once the plan is out the window and chaos ensues, it very rarely matters how polished a strategy is.
2649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sharing my CS:GO bets! [0/0] Profit: +/- on: January 08, 2018, 09:36:03 AM
Hey guys!

I've got a lot of time on my hands and I'm deciding to share my CS:GO predictions.

I am not claiming to be someone who can guarantee 100% accuracy nor I am forcing you to bet alongside me.
I do have a lot of experience in the CS:GO scene and I have been following the professional scene for almost 4 years now.
Just sharing my bets.

I will also share a short analysis before each bet.

Good luck, have fun

I'm not sure how many users around here are going to be interested in this sort of thing; believe it or not the demographics around here are not teenage boys for the most part. That being said, I'm personally very interested in this, because I play a lot of ESEA and I try to watch the professional players to become better at competitive CS:GO. It just so happens to be one of the games that I've enjoyed playing since I was younger; it has that nostalgia feel to it, so I don't mind following professional matches especially if there's a little incentive (such as a prediction).

I've never placed a bet on a Counter-Strike match, because I've heard a lot of nonsense about fixed matches and teams throwing games while they bet against themselves. By no means would I be betting on your first prediction, but I definitely will follow along with your predictions and let you know how I feel about the reviews/analysis you're giving for each. I'll be following this thread, and I certainly wish you the best; do you have any history doing this sort of thing (providing "signals")? I'm just curious of the level of prediction/volatility to expect, given your history or lack thereof.

If you don't mind me asking, do you place bets on these predictions or are you simply an avid watcher/follower of the professional scene and seek to give your opinions for others to potentially benefit? Final question, when do you plan on making your first prediction, and will this be a regular thing you maintain?
2650  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Gaming laptop gtx 960m, 1050ti or higher. on: January 07, 2018, 08:59:12 PM
I have a Origin Gaming Laptop 980m 17inch screen SSD looking for $1500
-snip-

I would be willing to accept less than this fellow, because again the screen does not work and the graphics card is a slightly less powerful version (almost indistinguishable comparatively, though, in terms of mining power). I do not expect $1,500 for my used laptop, but if you're looking for more power then this may be more up your alley than mine. I'm honestly thinking about just setting my laptop up to mine Ethereum or something like that, if I can't get a fair price for it that is.

-snip-
How much are you looking for ? In BTC or GBP / USD / LTC / ETH

I normally wouldn't let someone seemingly hijack the thread, but OP hasn't answered in quite sometime and I figure this question would be helpful to them as well. I'm not sure if you're asking because you would like to offer/purchase, or if you're trying to be helpful to OP.

No clue how much I would be happy accepting for my laptop, that's why I'm honestly open to offers; as long as it's a fair amount I would have no problem letting it go to a new owner; I'm trying to get rid of a lot of my stuff so I can travel more lightly without worrying about my valuables away from me. I'm working on moving and would love to have less things, more money.

I know that isn't a very definitive answer, but if I'm given a good offer I won't hesitate, unfortunately I won't know what a "good" offer is until it comes across my plate.
2651  Economy / Goods / Re: MYSTERY BOX!!!1 - HIGH SATISFACTION FOR MAKING CUSTOMER WITH MOST HAPPINESS on: January 06, 2018, 08:01:36 AM
So far so good, been in contact with TECSHARE and I had some trouble right from the get-go, because I had planned to pay with bitcoin and had not considered how ridiculous fees have gotten lately. He was very accommodating and offered to honor hiss quoted price for 24-hours; even after I had taken longer than 24-hours to figure out payment arrangements for the box I had ordered TECSHARE was more than willing to work with me to accept my LTC payment as an alternative. Many other people would not have put up with me after it took longer than 24-hours to produce payment.

They've kept a very good and pleasant attitude throughout our entire back-and-forth; and what's even more is even though it is an incredibly busy time of the year, they got my box out for shipping within what felt like minutes. I was expecting to have to wait some extra time for shipping, especially because I wanted to add another item to my box after the fact and the weather in my area is treacherous. It is only looking to take about 3-business days total to make it to the address.

Nevertheless shipping says it will arrive on Monday, so if I can just contain my excitement over the weekend I'll be able to pop open that mystery box. All-in-all I have had a very pleasant experience dealing with TECSSHARE so far, they got my box shipped out quickly and did not use snail-speed shipping. I'm looking forward to writing a review of my experience once it comes full circle, thanks again TECSHARE, hope I enjoy what's in the box as much as the rest of the experience so far.
2652  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Gaming laptop gtx 960m, 1050ti or higher. on: January 06, 2018, 05:58:05 AM
I have a MSI gaming laptop, I believe it's an Apache GE72; it has a GTX 965M inside of it and I think it sounds like it would be right up your alley. I haven't used the laptop in quite some time, though I periodically boot it up to recover an old file or perform updates/maintenance and the only problem is that it needs a new screen. My girlfriend dropped something on the screen and it doesn't work anymore. I used to game on it, playing PUBG, H1Z1 and things like that. It's in good condition, works fine, nothing internally wrong or malfunctioning.

For the most part the laptop was used for school and small work projects. I'm wondering if you would be interested in something like this, it has the kind of card you're looking for and as I said the only problem is needing a screen replacement.

I also have a GTX 980 TI card that I'd be willing to part with for the right price/trade. The GTX 980 TI would only be the card, however, as I need the rest of the rig.

I'll be watching the thread, so feel free to respond here or shoot me a PM; I'm flexible on the price, just want something fair for it. You can pick the escrow, I honestly don't mind who it is as long as they're trustworthy, obviously, and preferably an "official" escrow.
2653  Other / Archival / Re: 🔥🔥🔥Signature space, Avatar & Personal Text Available for rent🔥🔥🔥 on: January 06, 2018, 03:17:10 AM
Taking a peak at OP, Rabby637 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1165212), it seems like they have posted 20 times since we've replied to this topic and every single one of those posts are in exactly the kinds of threads we've offered payment for them to avoid. I find it hard to believe that they haven't seen the replies or simply missed their Watchlist. It appears as if they've chosen the path of frustration and not being a valued member of the community.

-snip
I've got $10 on it
-snip-

Even doubling the offer doesn't seen to get their attention and that's sad, because it's definitely more than they would make off whatever they're wasting time doing currently. I feel like we've got a pretty good offer on the table, and it's a shame OP can't even give us the decency of a reply when we're offering a chance at redemption!

It's so befuddling to me that users like this never get anywhere with this kind of behavior, yet they continue, even after it has been made clear and there is every reason to change what they're doing.

I just wanted to address some of the comments here. If a seller for any reason would like to use an escrow service I have no problem using whatever service they feel is necessary.

I am willing to do anything to make a seller feel comfortable selling to Junktion.

I can assure we are not a scam of any means. As of right now, it is not a company policy to use an escrow as we have just started paying out in crypto and are still figuring everything out.

In the future we will have some sort of an escrow and JUNKTION WILL PAY ALL ESCROW FEES TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR SELLERS

This is a growing project and I am very thankful for the comments left here. It is leading us in the right direction.

If you have any recommendations with escrows that you have used in the past please suggest them to me. I have never used them

I want to let you know that this looks very good, I did not mean to offend when I was giving my criticism; I wanted to convey how seriously everyone around here takes using an escrow.

If you'd like a full list of "Trusted" escrows there is one maintained here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0

I have personally used SebastianJu (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18640) in the past, no problems, very safe, responsive and allows both parties to set terms to their satisfaction.

This is 100% a step in the right direction; you do not need to use an escrow for every transaction, but it seems like you understand that you should at least offer it every transaction. I'd assume these first few orders will certainly require an escrow and big orders will probably require escrow. There will never be a point that you are free from escrow, but with a good reputation you will find yourself being trusted by many members.

With your clarification here, I'd certainly be willing to dip my foot back into your service and see what we can agree upon.

Since I have so many items I would like to sell I think I'm going to fill out your forms for just 1 or a couple reasonable items to get a feel for your service. Once we've successfully made a deal I would have no problem posting a review, my experience and how fair/smooth the process was. If I'm satisfied, I'll fill out the forms for everything I have.

Is there any particular category that you are most interested in so I could try to cater my first order with you to be something we're both excited about?

I will put $10 in an escrow to pay you not post in any thread about a signature campaign, bounty, ICO, Air-drop or micro-earning thread for 1-month while remaining active on the forum. Every single one of your posts is about being paid for a post and I'm sure I don't need to explain why that is a turn off not only to those who are paying regular users of the forum, but it also pisses off everyone that is a regular user of the forum. People are sick of people that post low-quality threads, only to up their post count, activity and hope to be paid for their non-input, copy-paste "+1" type posts.

It seems strange that you have all the information to come to the correct conclusion, yet it eludes you; Signature campaigns offer limited slots, because they are looking for the greatest contributors to the forum. I do not understand why your response to this is to make another post, which under no stretch of the imagination could be considered a contribution, then honestly believe someone will come crawling to you as if there is a shortage of applicants. I'm baffled by this kind of reasoning. You must not have thought this through, but there is redemption to be had, because this is not activity born out of malice.

Try learning about bitcoin, the nuanced conversations you can have about it's potential and future direction and try to learn how it is developed; you could even try thoroughly reading the white-paper until you could explain everything about bitcoin from start until now. It doesn't feel like you care to be a part of the community, so again my offer is serious.. I will put $10 in an escrow to be released to you after 1-month if you refrain from posting in the aforementioned threads and are determined to have actually been making an effort towards learning, improving and maybe even providing something of value to the community. Your signature/Personal text must remain empty during this time as well. You may meet some friends, make connections and even find an opportunity to earn outside of burst-posting. Only post when you genuinely have something new to say, offer or ask; for everything else there is a search function.

Let me know if you're interested in actually providing something other than spam to the forum, if not I guess you can keep doing what you're doing until you're frustrated enough to abandon your account (which may be the better option, if your only interest is bounties and campaigns.)

If someone else thinks I am promoting something negative with my proposition, I'm all ears, but it could be an interesting case-study.

I will not be using any of the escrows on bitcointalk at the moment. This is not the type of service where I feel one is warranted. In all pawnshops do you have an escrow? most likely not.

Then count me, and probably everyone else, out. I was very interested when I thought this could be mutually beneficial, but at this point it does seem like you are not interested in your customer's security.

The reason you don't use an escrow in a pawnshop is because the pawnshop is physically within grasp; you do not release your item until there is cash in your hand. The reason escrow is needed here is because you are not a physical shop, you are asking us to provide an item and hope you pay us after you've received it. I have $100's in items I would love to trade, but without escrow I would be asking to have them stolen. Your reason for not providing an escrow does not make sense, and therefore you have no good explanation of why you will not be using an escrow.

If you are interested in properly conducting a deal, I will work with your company; until I can guarantee my items, safety and payment I will not be throwing away my items to a possible low-tier scam.

"Paypal" is not an escrow and it certainly is not acceptable here, on bitcointalk. I would personally suggest nobody use your service until you reconsider escrows, unless they are planning on donating instead of selling.

Having an e-mail of the price you said you'd pay does not help when you have my item and refuse to pay. This entire company just started looking very suspect. There are typos on the website, it's poorly designed, you're refusing to use escrow and there are no reviews; sign me up for some of that "social presience".

If you want to be successful with this, then you need to do it properly and right now you are just coming off as another short-sighted scammer.

This is definitely the kind of service where an escrow is needed, whenever there are two things being traded an escrow is needed or you throw away your security. There certainly is a lot to worry about, even when being honest about our item; we are entrusting our items and money into your hands and if you don't think that's cause for concern then you don't know very much about this community.

EDIT :
-snip-
If a seller for any reason would like to use an escrow service I have no problem using whatever service they feel is necessary.

I am willing to do anything to make a seller feel comfortable selling to Junktion.

I wanted to throw this here, so that anyone who reads my criticism can also see that it has been addressed, and addressed adequately in my opinion. I don't want to be the reason someone avoids this service under false pretense, because they stopped reading here.

I would like to confirm that everything went smoothly this week! Box handled everything on time, and it all went smoothly without a hitch. It's been a good week, I played around on BitDice a bit in my spare time, talked a little nonsense in the chat with the other folks. Thanks for the hard work you're doing and the opportunity to be a part of it, Box.

I'm confused. Is this the current payout from this signature campaign?

I received $70 this week, so I just wanted to touch back to confirm this is the case, hopefully clear up any confusion now that I have a more solid picture of what's going on. I still stand by my statement that you should update OP with current pay-rates (even though spreadsheet has correct pay-rates), and I also think a new thread title would do some justice; we've started and it's past December 1. Cheesy
