2961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite Game? on: November 16, 2015, 02:40:54 PM
I was wondering what is the percentage of gamblers for casino and other gambling games.
I for myself love to play Poker, so it is my favorite game to gamble with money.

And you? What's yours?

Honestly my favorite game of all time is SatoshiCircle, but that's because I have a special place in my heart for it. I used to play SatoshiCircle for HOURS while I was taking long car rides or doing anything that required waiting for more than 30 seconds.

It is the only game that can take my money without me leaving frustrated. Cheesy
2962  Economy / Gambling / Re: What attracts you to a casino? on: November 16, 2015, 02:36:16 PM
I like when I catch a new answer while reading through the thread.
I really liked the "instant withdrawal and fast support" answer, because quite honestly when a site holds their withdrawals for days and their support never answers that's enough to scare me away from a site in a hurry.

Instant Withdrawals can also be a hassle for some sites especially with the transaction problems we just went through recently in the protocol. Still though, their programming should be able to properly handle instant withdrawals if they expect a solid player base Smiley
2963  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMED BY JAKEZ SOLVED! on: November 16, 2015, 02:26:42 PM
I tried to tell everyone not to jump the gun about calling Jakez a scammer, because I knew that the only thing that could keep him from resolving an issue around here, especially for such a small amount would have to be something serious.

Thanks for clearing things up Jakez, and you should never rush to make a scam report because I'm sure this could've been handled smoother Tongue
2964  Economy / Reputation / Re: Rawdog insulter, troll, and anti-semite on: November 16, 2015, 04:38:06 AM
Self-moderation is the closest thing you're going to get to a resolution as far as I am concerned.
Don't feed the trolls and they normally wither away, or at the very least bother somebody else.

You can report posts that you feel should be deleted, but please don't waste the staff's time with this feature.
I'm sorry that this person is bothering you, just ignore him and carry on.
2965  Economy / Lending / Re: Need Loan low-interest on: November 16, 2015, 04:31:46 AM
You need to state the amount of the loan you are interested in receiving.
You need to state what is the reason for this loan, because right now it just seems like it's for no reason.

Can you provide an old signed address associated with this account?
Can you provide any collateral?

When do you plan on repaying?

How much interest are you planning to pay?
2966  Economy / Gambling / Re: UFC 193 Predictions: Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm on: November 16, 2015, 04:06:23 AM
I'm really looking forward to watching this fight on winter's stream, but I'm going to have to definitely take Rousey, in the last minute of the 2nd round. She's just been looking good lately and has been knocking everyone out without a question.

Good luck Holm, and I hope everyone enjoys watching the fight. Don't lose too much money Cheesy

The happened yesterday and Holm won the fight. She totally embarrassed Rousey by knocking her out though her signature head kick, I bet Rousey knew and prepared for it but she still was caught. Th first knock out of her life, I think she learned her lesson this time.

Holy crap.. I totally lost track of the date. Cheesy I feel like a fool, and I'm going to have to catch the Vod, even though I know how it ends now hahah.
Thanks for the reality check.  Shocked
2967  Economy / Gambling / Re: What attracts you to a casino? on: November 16, 2015, 03:38:39 AM
I like all the different answers I am hearing, but normally I won't gamble unless I am liking the odds I'm looking at.
Meaning I normally won't even gamble unless there's no investment required and the only thing I'm putting into it is time.

Money doesn't come easily, but there's always somebody trying to trick you out of it.
2968  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers in the Loan Section (litmore & magic max) on: November 16, 2015, 01:56:49 AM
are you new here or something? this kind of stuff happens in the lending and currency exchange sections multiple times a day.

I'm not new here, but this is the scam accusation section for a reason is it not?
I should be able to post the alts of scammers, and active scammers here to be able to reference their prospective victims.

Is there a problem with being a part of the solution, rather than allowing it the run rampant?

Why giving a bitcoin address that belong to another member Goose20 ?
Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1083034.0
thats not the address i posted

Hey QS, I just wanted you to be aware that I strongly believe this user has multiple accounts attempting to loan scam.
I have created a scam accusation : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1250460.msg12984072#msg12984072 about this user and one of his alts, but I just thought you should probably steer clear of this member if you haven't already decided to do so.
Thanks for the tip. I have been needing help in brushing up my ability to spot and find scammers, especially those in the lending section, and especially those whose alts can be found with blockchain evidence.

Because of you I was able to avoid lending to that person Smiley

Happy I could be somewhat of a help to someone. I've had some free time lately and have been doing my best to tag scammers and warn users against dealing with them before it causes a headache they could've avoided.

Good luck avoiding his inevitable future alts that you'll come across from time to time and I'll do my best to point them out in the future as well Tongue
2970  Economy / Gambling / Re: What attracts you to a casino? on: November 16, 2015, 01:12:26 AM
First im a guy and if i saw them sexy hot ladies in the website. It attracts me to play and test the site out  Grin

Would that be enough to get you to deposit or would you only be interested in trying the site if they also handed out a sign-up bonus?

first of all, I do not even get attracted in sign-up bonuses or deposit bonuses because likely it has some catches in it "You have to wager this and that amount to fully able to withdraw". I more in to the design and functionality of the site.. thats all i can say..

I can appreciate that; normally I'm the type of person to head over to whatever casino is offering a no deposit sign-up bonus and I read the terms pretty carefully and try to wiggle out some investment-free profit from the site Cheesy

Normally I make out pretty good on the slots, but then they try to make you play pretty much every game on the site to withdraw and they never allow you to withdraw much beyond the bonus they give.. Otherwise I would be making out damn good Wink

2972  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice fucked me over :-/ on: November 16, 2015, 01:08:15 AM
Your best bet here would be to create a formal scam accusation thread rather than a thread in the lending section.

Your rant would be better appreciate there as long as it is coupled with hard evidence, such as proof of the scams and associations and attempts to contact for resolution, etc etc. That way we can have a good standing record of other users facing similar problems, and get the issue handled to the best of the capabilities this forum has to offer.

2974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers in the Loan Section (litmore & magic max) on: November 16, 2015, 12:55:57 AM
magic max asked for a loan to Quickseller lending topic.
He posts a bitcoin address that belongs to an other member, Goose20 (source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=812533.msg12983963#msg12983963)
Once caught, he edit his post and claim in another that it is not the address he posts but Quickseller and me have quoted his post before he edit it.

I wonder what is the link between magic max and Goose20. Alt for scamming purpose ? I don't know but I find this suspicious.

Thank you very much for sharing this here, and I am sure that he has many alts created specifically for scamming. Any and all association that you can provide between his alternate accounts is extremely helpful. I hope that we can successfully suppress this user and his many alts, because he is currently acting as a nuisance around the forum for days.

2976  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Gauging Interest in New Site on: November 16, 2015, 12:40:58 AM
Honestly my biggest concern is when you're coming straight out about being a ponzi and leaving the "newer" investors in the dust, is that you could potential mislead us to believe the early investors will make their deposits back just so that you can run away with as much initial investment as possible.

We would definitely need something better.
2977  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Gauging Interest in New Site on: November 15, 2015, 11:19:58 PM
We no longer need ponzi, we need a more sustainable website that will last for a lifetime.. not days, weeks, months, or yrs.

This is mostly what people are interested in because bitcoin is flourishing lately. Supporting something like a ponzi is not helpful to the community and it's not worth our time. We are interested in something that's mutually beneficially for all parties involved.
2978  Other / Meta / Re: account related request on: November 15, 2015, 11:08:59 PM
You will definitely need to provide a signed message from an old-old address associated with this account at the very least.
Alternatively however, you could go through all of your posts and delete them one at a time. Cheesy

I understand this might be a ridiculous task, but I would be interested in helping you complete this task if we could come to an agreement of some sort. This alternative is only to be considered if you receive no satisfactory response from the staff, of course. I hope you can get what you want handled, but try to remember that your account does have some value even with all the posts deleted. Smiley
2979  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Gauging Interest in New Site on: November 15, 2015, 11:01:09 PM
I'm saying that, it's a ponzi and the owner will decide when the profit-point is saturated enough for him to just walk-away from the project.
In your first post you say something along the lines of "the first users will make their deposits back and some profit, but the late investors will lose their deposits".
I'm simply saying that the concept of a ponzi is enough to scare everyone away.

Would the 2% fee not be a pretty good incentive for the ponzi operator to keep running the games?

Not when the deposits he can run away with make his incentive to run away 50x stronger.

Is there anything that would convince you that the owner will not run away?

It has to make logical sense that the owner will stay. Ponzis are never created to be long-term, and if the owner has the ability to prove his track-record that he has committed to successful projects prior with valid reasons for discontinuing the project then it would be possible.

The owner could put a hefty amount of BTC in escrow, but only an amount large enough to guarantee that all investors/users will be re-paid.
2980  Economy / Gambling / Re: What attracts you to a casino? on: November 15, 2015, 10:54:14 PM
MONEY.

Isn't that the main reason anyone visits casinos? To try to win money and having fun doing it. Obviously doens't work in their favor.

So basically the greater the facade that a casino can create without actually making it profitable for people, the more likely they are to attract gamblers. As long as the casino can make it seem like they're the suckers, it'll attract the suckers Wink

On a serious note though, that's very interesting that incentive is required to gamble (at least in our community).
