So, let me get this straight; you will pay me a profit of over $100 every 30-minutes if I deposit 1BTC into your wallet, which you claim I am the only one that has access to it? You don't use the coin for trading, investments or anything else so how do you justify these gains? Your business model is not sustainable from the sounds of it; do you have a white-paper, or a business plan of any sense?

Where does the profit come from?
What is the proof of security for your members?

Right now it just looks like you're creating a fantasy incentive in order to get people who are too excitable and naive to think about it critically on your platform so you can disappear with some quick coin... All you have invested in this is a poorly designed website, a newbie account and the most short-sighted ponzie scheme idea I've ever heard of.

You could've at least paid a web designer for just a little coin, so I doubt even a single person will reap reward from this sham.

Our address is 174GvaBhzkT5iuEDJM6MnXvzSdftZdthVZ

Thank you (to whom will quote this Wink )

- CoinTonic Team

Quoted, but should write a verifiable message for it to matter, otherwise it's sort of like pissing in the wind... It feels good for now, but it could go really bad at any moment. You can use any sort of personal wallet to sign messages from your address(es) these days. There's only certain limitations, normally exchanges if I'm not mistaken won't allow for you to sign a message.

Good luck to you, at least you're making an effort in the right direction Tongue
2763  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC rate when bitcoin will mined on: December 02, 2017, 06:55:13 PM
What do you think will happen with the bitcoin rate when it will be completely mined? I've heard quite opposite opinions on this issue.
And some (like me) believe that nothing will change for a long time after this.

People lose their bitcoins everyday, losing their wallets, corrupting hard drives, sending to the wrong address that is inaccessible to anyone. Silly things happen everyday that eat at the total amount of bitcoins that are usable at any given moment, but for right now mining is happening quicker than BTC is being lost to oblivion; once the mining stops the supply only goes down, and assuming interest in bitcoin increases or even remains stagnate we'll see a major upward trend in price for a long time.

Y'know, Supply & Demand, all that good simple economics stuff. As long as bitcoin can handle the volume of transactions that comes along with the increase in interest/demand then I wouldn't imagine anyone being scared off through the flaws of bitcoin itself. With that being said, and a constantly decreasing supply, hang onto to your hats boys (or dare I say, coins)... The next few years are gonna be bumpy in the best way possible.
2764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to cryptocurrency need some advice! on: December 02, 2017, 06:45:40 PM
...Investing in Cryotocurrencies is like gambling...

I've gotta disagree with you there my friend. Investing into bitcoin is far from a gamble, it's an invention into innovation, new ideas and the future; that is very different that going all in on the flop.

A lot of ICOs these days are pretty close to a gamble, though, I'll give you that!
2765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: had bitcoin gold, now it's gone on: December 02, 2017, 06:39:01 PM
Have you checked the transaction history to make sure it wasn't sent out or stolen? I had a near heart attack when I forgot I transferred some coin to another address once upon a time. It also could potentially just be a temporary bug in the UI that's just not letting you see it currently.. It's a long shot, and I don't really know much about hard wallets, but does the firmware or software need updating by any chance? It might have been programmed a little goofy and just needs an update or something simple like synchronizing it to the chain.
2766  Economy / Reputation / Re: ICO SPAMMERS EXPOSED --> NEW SELF-MODERATED THREAD on: December 02, 2017, 06:33:06 PM
I notice you listed CoolWave twice, and I've also noticed Coolwave tied up in a couple of other accusations as well, such as trust farming and account hoarding. He seems to be linked to multiple high-ranking accounts, even a legendary account has been tied into the shenanigans.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2495762.0 < That's one of the accusations he's involved in, aside from this, of course.
2767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to cryptocurrency need some advice! on: December 02, 2017, 05:37:36 PM
If there was one thing I wish I didn't do when I got started out is spend my bitcoin exactly how you're describing you'd like to use them. I bought games, candies, stickers, accounts, the list goes on and on; but if there really is one thing I wish i knew I would've told myself "don't spend a single bit, don't even send dust!" I would've been a millionaire if all I did was buy less clothes, games, etc. So really think on what you'd like bitcoin to be in your life.

If all you did was put $100 into Bitcoin in 2010 and never touched it until today you would have over $100 million. When I was new to cryptocurrency I wish someone would've told me that; it is the future of international trade and the price will reflect that for years to come. My advice is at least put a chunk of your fiat into bitcoin, and maybe a couple other off your favorite coins then not touching them for 10-years... Look at it as a long-term investment and then 10-years from now you can send me a thank you. Smiley

2769  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Old Bitcoin Addresses on: December 02, 2017, 09:46:35 AM
I am looking to buy old Bitcoin address private keys without any Bitcoins in them.

Send me the addresses either here or via PM and I will make an offer if I am interested.

Escrow can be used, you pay the fees.

How old are you looking for? I have addresses from every year since the start, nothing in them, but I have a bunch of addresses. Would you be interested in any 2016 or is that too new?
2770  Economy / Services / Re: Do my online Econ 101 quiz for $15 in BTC on: December 02, 2017, 09:14:49 AM
While I agree with the fellow telling you to be wary of sharing your information around willy-nilly; if you're still looking for someone to do this for you, I've take similar online courses and would be comfortable doing this for you if i knew a little more about the format of the test, such as is  it timed? Are there multiple attempts? What caliber of institution is the quiz being administered from?

I would gladly accept payment once it is complete, no need for the half-half as you suggested Smiley

Edit: I've had to do similar things in the past and have had to get a friend to do this for me because of time-constraints, family matters, etc. Have you considered asking any friends ?
2771  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What do you think of this project? altcoin-decentralized cryptocurrency exchange on: December 02, 2017, 09:07:18 AM
The idea pulled me into the thread, but to be honest I was really hoping to read through some concept papers, or some whitepapers (maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing). I want some explanation for how this is decentralized and what the inner-workings are, as decentralized and open-source (or at least transparent) should be synonymous.

Does each participant operate as a node, are there dedicated nodes, does it mimic the blockchain?
2772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to max out all credit cards months to buy BTC? on: December 02, 2017, 08:48:37 AM
This is a terrible gamble that I wouldn't take; earn some money and invest it into bitcoin.. don't max out your credit cards, you might as well go buy chips at a casino and bet all on double-0 in roulette.

If it works, you're good to go! If it doesn't you're in tons of debt, could ruin your credit score and negatively affect your life for years..
2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest into Bitcoin or Enthereum to get higher return ? on: December 02, 2017, 08:44:03 AM
Hi everyone,
I concern if Enthereum price will grow up strongly like what happened in bitcoin.
is there any chances to get a significant return when investing Enthereum now  ?
Of course, no correct answer but I want to here from your view ?

Thanks

Ethereum is by far the most known and used alt-coin AFAIK, but I also think alt-coins are only used because of the short-comings of bitcoin currently, like the inability of quick micro-transactions. Little tweaks, due to consensus within the bitcoin developer community could quickly throw alt-coins off the rails IMO. I say Bitcoin for long-term investments, or alt-coins if you know enough and want to go that route, but watch the development of BTC closely and know when to jump ship!
2774  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a english native writer on: December 02, 2017, 08:39:40 AM
I've written a few e-books and I speak English exclusively. I'd be happy to help you out, but I don't want to e-mail you a whole resume before we discuss more; I hope that is alright?

Will I be writing the FAQ myself or do you have something in mind? By the sounds of the job I could have it done very quickly.
2775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 0.01 BTC, what should I do with them ? on: December 02, 2017, 08:37:25 AM
My suggestion is always the same man, set it and forget it.  Grin
It always seems to be the best move with whatever coin you have; save it, increase it.

BTC taught me one solid rule, get more BTC.
2776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Tax Time: Where to cash out Bitcoin in the US?? on: December 01, 2017, 07:17:32 PM
Hey, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure U.S. tax code makes it so you don't have to pay the taxes on your capital gains until you liquidate your holdings.
I don't think you have to pay taxes on the increase in your bitcoin assets until you get them exchanged to fiat.

Do not take this as advice
I'm just saying you should look into it Tongue
2777  Economy / Services / Re: [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] TRUCKCOIN [OPEN] on: December 01, 2017, 05:17:05 PM

2778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most influential crypto websites? on: November 30, 2017, 07:57:02 PM
The guy above me already said it, but obviously this site takes the cake by far. It's where the development in the early stages was discussed largely, not exclusively of course, but a good chunk of the development and consensus' on the direction of bitcoin has been driven by discussions right here. Bitcoin is not a multi-billion dollar industry and it effectively had it's home here since it's birth.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble? Really? on: November 30, 2017, 07:54:05 PM
They're projecting the flaws of their own system onto ours. People might try to claim the price movement of bitcoin is indicative of a bubble, however we don't experience the same downward trends that these bubbles cause. Price moves, but the bubbles they're afraid of come from the corruption of the financial institutions and governments attached to them (for the most part), which we've done away with.

They're out of touch and already got left behind; cognitive dissonance at it's best.
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC futures on: November 30, 2017, 07:49:43 PM
speaking of btc future we need to consider next:

1. 10k- some may sell however this has been happening all the way so far so I wouldn't expect anything big - in fact I am expecting potentially a surge
2. BTC Lightning ⚡ - if you're holding alts you may want to limit exposure - this tech will make micro txns viable and potentially crush alternatives that offer pure txn hyped benefits
3. Point 2 is a death sentence for BTC forks where bkocksize has been flagged as a solution - it isn't and lightning ends them- this includes Dash
4. Expect more official efforts to reign in BTC as it breaks above 10k- next target 🎯 is Market Cap 200bill
5. 2018 should see a massive surge - look for 1k increases in successively shorter periods as money flows in - big watch on institutions
6. Enjoy - once in a lifetime moment in history!!

I second all of this, been my thoughts pretty much to a tee, but I do expect a pretty consistent and hard upward trend in the value of BTC once futures begin trading; there will definitely be price jumps like mad, but I would expect an influx of investment and demand.
