482  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Banning ng Binance App sa Pinas on: January 23, 2024, 10:25:53 AM
So kailangan ko ulit today mag cashout for my  bills. Maybe this is my last time mag cashout using Binance pero sana hindi.

I'm looking for Chinese and Brazilian members

Cool! BK8 expanding to the huge Brazilian and Chinese market.
484  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 08, 2024, 06:24:31 AM

Guys ano ginawa niyo kung for example meron kayong 10 to 20 coins tapos yung iba tig $200 to $500 lang ang worth?

Thank you so much BK8 and roycilik for the opportunity to work with you. I joined at week 22, it was a year and a half. What a ride! Maybe it is time for me to take a short break as well, travel to some places I've never been, and then be back by February. Happy New Year mates.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What gives high winning percentage for you, spread or total? on: December 29, 2023, 12:04:30 PM
In basketball which is my favorite sport to bet, I am mostly into the spreads. I am not into total odds because it is another work of research and analyzing teams' scores in their previous games. I just prefer the usual way which is analyzing who wins, and the ability of the teams and players.

I don't know if spreads and totals are popular in other sports. In boxing, I am mostly into ML and then KO or decision which is a different method. In DOTA 2 e-sports, I am also into ML. There are also spreads but the change is huge since it's mostly best of 3 and 5, and giving up or getting a plus 1 or 2 games is too significant.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 29, 2023, 11:30:04 AM
Inoue isn't that much of a talkative guy so a lot of the media are trying to reach out to his Japanese promoter Hideyuki Ohashi. So the plan is for the undisputed champion to defend all the belts 3-times in 2024. Bigger venues like the Tokyo Dome that could seat 40,000 fans are considered. Las Vegas and Saudi Arabia are also mentioned.

The first title defense is targeted against former 2-division world champion Luis Nery of Mexico. Nery is banned in Japan so it's most likely happening in the US unless the Saudis can offer bigger.

The second title defense will be against former unified champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev who lost a highly disputed decision to Marlon Tapales. Akhmadaliev also won the WBA eliminator in his last fight which means Inoue has to fight him or get stripped of his WBA belt.

The planned third title defense will be against Johnreil Casimero, a 3-division world champion. Inoue and Casimero were scheduled already to unify their belts when the pandemic of COVID-19 happened. It was canceled but it seems like they are destined to really face each other.
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrencies without investment? on: December 29, 2023, 10:56:06 AM
The best way to still make money is to really find a job. You might find small part-time jobs paid in crypto but there are still more opportunities outside crypto unless you are an experienced programmer since there's a lot of demand for it in the crypto space. If there are no opportunities in your place then travel elsewhere to other places not far and look for a regular job. You can also look for online jobs and see if you have the qualifications needed.

There are also opportunities in this forum but limited. You check them at;

A few more weeks before the trade deadline. It seems like the Lakers know their chances against the top teams as they are pursuing trades aggressively. So according to the odds, the Lakers are likely to acquire Dejounte Murray from Atlanta. I don't know what assets the Lakers can offer but the team has a decent roster except that they lost their future first draft picks already in the previous trades.

Some people on social media are saying Lebron should be part of the trade which is impossible. It's not even a surprise if it's Lebron pressuring the management to acquire other stars or better talents while he is still playing at a high level.

490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder Vs Parker & Joshua Vs Wallin Boxing Mega Saudi card 23rd December on: December 29, 2023, 09:32:02 AM
^^ Yes, it could be possible that AJ vs Parker is going to be push through by either side. I mean AJ doesn't have a dance partner, but they have to make a storyline between AJ and Parker so that they can sell that fight.

It used to be AJ vs Wilder, but we all know that Wilder didn't do his part and Wilder derail all the plans.

If Parker wanted to spoil everything they make him fight AJ, it's just the question of whether the Saudi's wanted that fight as obviously they wanted to stage the biggest fight ever in HW division.

The biggest fight at heavyweight will be the winner of Usyk-Fury defending all its belts against AJ. But I doubt people are interested in case Usyk beats Fury. It's less than 2 months already so if AJ is really interested in the belts especially the chance of becoming an undisputed champion, he should just wait. But I guess Eddie knows his ward is still a heavy underdog and there are a lot of low-risk-high-reward fights to exploit.

Parker suffered his first defeat at the hands of AJ in a big IBF-WBO-WBA unification fight. But it was also the first time AJ went the full distance as he failed to knock out Parker. The official cards gave AJ a wide UD. I haven't watched the fight but I saw the per-round punch stats and surprisingly it was close like it should've been a draw. So I think Parker is still dangerous to AJ with less reward. Wilder, MMA star Ngannou, and 40-year-old WBO interim Zhang should be Eddie's priority.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 29, 2023, 08:57:31 AM
One of my plans before is to continue my monthly DCA until bitcoin reaches $50k. I don't know but I already missed 3 months including this December. I felt bitcoin was already becoming expensive and that I thought I could buy at a discount. So far, the more I waited, the more the price increases. I think I had the opportunity to buy bitcoin at $26k last October but I insisted on waiting a bit. My October DCA would've been valued at 150% and my November DCA at around 125%.

I wasted some opportunities but it is what it is. Now I have to stick to my plan B which is to wait for bitcoin to drop below $40k to continue my DCA and of course to fill my 3 months backlog.

Dude, you're not understanding what DCA is. The whole point of DCA is so that you DON'T try to time the market. Yet all you are talking about is how you are trying to time the market and that has caused you to miss out. So you aren't doing DCA. You're just trying to time the market and you're doing a bad job of it.

My advice to you is to stop trying to time the market and instead actually do DCA.

So start buying now, instead of waiting and hoping for it to drop below $40k (which it may never do). If DCA was your plan A, which you didn't do, and instead you tried out your plan B which was trying to time the market, and that is obviously going poorly for you, why would you feel that you HAVE TO stick to your plan B?!? Plan B is not working out for you. Stop trying to stick to it. All your plan B is doing is convincing you to not buy bitcoin lol. Go back to your original idea of DCA and actually follow through on it by starting it now.

I clearly understand what DCA is all about. I actually started my monthly DCA last year. I just missed the last 3 months when I felt like I should try to buy bitcoin cheaper. I think it was the time when bitcoin made a sudden price increase. I felt like a correction was coming and so I should just wait and then the month ended and then the next months it became more expensive.

Maybe I'll just stick to my monthly schedules starting January of next year. And then I'll just fill my 3 months backlogs every time there is a thousand dollars decrease in price.
492  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 29, 2023, 08:39:12 AM

Kabigay mo lang then after a few months hihingi ulit. Ang pangit pa walang warning2 freeze kaagad ang balance mo. Kupal talaga.

493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting on sports, which one to choose -110 or +110? on: December 28, 2023, 02:55:51 PM
My favorite betting odds are between 1.90 to 2.05 although sometimes I extended it to 1.85. So yeah, I prefer the -110 which is like the 50/50 without the house edge. But I don't see much difference between -110 or 1.91 and +110 or 2.10.

53% win rate at 1.90 or -111 means a $7 profit out of your 100 bets at $10 each bet. It's pretty small but much easier to win.

Getting a 50% win rate at +110 or 2.10 means winning 5% or $50 out of your 100 bets at $10 each bet.

Overall it isn't easy to stay within your favorite betting odds range because it depends on the market availability and how complicated it becomes. In basketball, almost all odds are available using the spreads. And this is why NBA basketball is my favorite when it comes to betting.

496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 28, 2023, 12:26:35 PM
^^ And just imagine the trash talk by Casimero, I mean he has been calling Inoue since the bantamweight division unfortunately, they haven't face in the ring yet. We don't need to discuss it though, we all know what the reason is.

And it seems that Inoue is now the Filipino torn in this division, Donaire and now Tapales, and other Filipinos that he has face before.

Maybe Casimero is the now going to stop the bleeding and put him name on the top of the super bantamweight division again.

Casimero is once again trending at least in his native country because he is known to mock and challenge Naoya Inoue. But based on their previous performances, I wonder if Casimero can even survive 5 rounds. Casimero is already in his mid-30s and his lifestyle as an athlete is not that strict which is probably the reason why he is performing below world class level.

I am not calling Inoue a thorn in Ph boxing. He's just at a different level and he is even loved and has a lot of fans in Ph. He did beat a lot from the Ph but it's the same situation with his Japanese comrades trying to block his way to greatness. The first time I heard Inoue was when he dared a Ph national champion for his pro debut. I thought, he would lose and in my mind, I was like, how dare he fight someone at that level in his first fight. The rest is history.

IMHO, Casimero is in for the money. Imagine if he gets a contract to fight Inoue then that would be the biggest purse that he will get in his entire career. Casimero is on the downslide of his career, father time is catching up on him and like you've said, his lifestyle is not like that of an elite fighter.

Inoue is Pacman reborn at least for me hehe. If he could climb up two more weight divisions where the money is flowing, Uncle Bob will be more than happy to support on his cash cow.

We all know that, but at least Casimero would be a deserving challenger compared to the challengers that are lining up to fight Inoue, those that are in a higher standing, they are all the same. Casimero loves to take against Inoue and even against his fellow Filipino boxer, so I think once and for all, it's time for Inoue to accept the challenge and see if he can shut Casimero up.

I still believe Casimero is a deserving challenger but only because he is a 3-division world champion and they are supposed to unify their belts before both of them move up in weight. They nearly had it and were scheduled already but then the pandemic came. But the later part was more on Casimero for not making weights and having personal issues that led to being removed from his belt which was the only key since Inoue wanted to become undisputed.

To say Casimero is more deserving than those lining up for Inoue, I don't think so. The WBA mandatory, Morudjon Akhmadaliev is the former unified champion and only lost a highly deposited decision to Tapales so he deserved a shot, especially to his former belts, and even so, he earned it more by fighting and winning the WBA eliminator. I looked down on Sam Goodman before but after winning the IBF eliminator by upsetting highly touted undefeated Raeese Aleem, he earned it. Aleem by the way is the one who sparred with Casimero multiple times and was getting the better of the exchanges. Luis Nery is a 2-division world champion, he also won a WBC eliminator although not stated as final so either the WBC can issue a final mandatory or it can just reinstate Nery as it's mandatory.

Inoue might only fight two more times before moving up in weight. So it's either Nery, Akhmadaliev, Goodman, and Casimero. I would love Casimero to get the shot. But right now, I see him as the easiest of the four.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 28, 2023, 12:06:17 PM
It doesn't make sense to me or maybe it's just me. But I am not following any casino streamers ever. Not that they're bad since we have different tastes when it comes to entertainment but we should not be influenced deeper like over extending the time spent for betting or betting more than our allocated budgets.

Honestly, I still don't get why some people are fond of watching streamers gamble. Why not just gamble on our own and experience it firsthand? Forget about the amount since we can bet as small as possible.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 28, 2023, 11:43:55 AM
I'm being tempted to agree with you that gambling for fun is a lie we tell ourselves to make us feel better in the midst of losses. I don't really condemn the proponents of such since its a strategy for reducing the pain of losing.  But the reality is that no one gamble for fun. The primary reason for gambling is money and more money. Remove the money from gambling and see how many of those championing gambling for fun will still be there.

If you remove winnings from gambling, I wonder how many gamblers that will still come back to gamble, beyond having fun, there's a subtle challenge in our minds that we're coming back to win and recover lost money. Because we've told our selves that we're gambling for fun, it suppresses the feelings that we want to gamble to win, if not why would you have fun playing games that you have high probability of losing. The consolation that I see for reasonable gamblers is that they gamble the amount that they can afford to loose, so the frustration of eventual lose can reduce. The exceptions that I see are money bags who have enough money to throw away without minding, because they have it in surplus.

You talked a lot but I wonder if you already have decent gambling experience. Or have you ever been to a land-based casino? Otherwise, why listen to you? Do you even understand how the house edge works? Do you know the rate of house edge on the different games? But I understand that only people with extra money and have the kind of risk tolerance should gamble. Maybe gambling is not fit for you.

Remove the winning from gambling and there are still some people who will play. It's like going to a movie house or a computer gaming cafe. Some people call it illogical since we can watch movies at home or play games at home. But it's the experience. People simply just have different tastes in entertainment.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 28, 2023, 11:15:23 AM
@OP you forget if no one will tell someone a way to success or their' net worth, if he can able to buy a luxurious car, it means he's an old money or really successful. Since he can afford to buy such car, he don't need financial advice, he might be an OG who owns 1K BTC and you will never know it.

Moreover, not everyone want to invest in BTC or ETH, you shouldn't control someone else decision in their life.

Well said. It's funny when some people make threads in this forum after their so-called advice were not considered. This is my second time reading a thread where the OP got disappointed, got into an argument, or canceled their friendships. It's a shame, these people need to understand that they are not giving a piece of advice but rather an order for their friends to follow or they will get mad and cancel their friendly relationships.

But I guess this is a made-up story by OP. I made a quick search on the most expensive cars for the year 2023 and here are the results.

First result.

The second result is from motor1.com. This seems to be the latest since Boat Tail has increased to $28 million but is no longer the most expensive. So according to an article, the Boat Tail has been produced only 3 times and is reserved for billionaires. So it's either OP has a billionaire former friend or OP is just creating fantasy stories. I doubt someone has a billionaire friend but is making an effort to apply to the merit sources in this forum to earn merits and join a campaign. Otherwise, I'll just stay in this forum having fun and won't bother applying for merits, it'll come naturally anyway.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 27, 2023, 11:34:35 AM
with Bet of course , there are 2 scenario that may happen and that is

   - We will win and enjoy the outcome.

   - We will Lose and still enjoy the outcome .

Gambling must be for fun , but it is stupidity not to expect winning so if ever win then we should be thankful but even if we lose still we must be joyful at least we have tried our luck right?

Gamble only with the amount we can afford to lose.

Yeah. Yesterday I lost some bets in a boxing event but I enjoyed the whole fight. But not all people will enjoy watching especially when their team or athlete is losing. Cheesy But as you said, only gamble an amount that we can afford to lose. I don't know but there are a few times when I get disappointed when the team or athlete I am betting on is losing. But I am pretty sure that I am only betting in small amounts.

But at least there is nothing compared when watching a game where our bet is winning. Sometimes we even stand, shout cheer, and clap our hands even if we are only watching alone in front of our television or computer.
