The information contained here, is more than the offer of gold. The present crypto space has been invaded with different kind of projects paraded by scammers. As a newbie in the crypto space, bitcoins is the way to go until you have a proper knowledge about altcoins and how to recognize those ones that can survive the test of time.  The promise of high unrealistic APR and increase in price is a red flag to some of those projects.

Yes, bitcoin is always the primary choice for crypto investment. It's always at the top and in the last years, we never experienced problems in its network, unlike the other blockchains and projects that are experiencing hacks and other issues.

Any project that provides a high APR is already unreliable. Maybe 6% is the highest but this is not even suitable for new projects and those that have low volume in the market. I would rather enjoy gambling with good chances of winning, especially in sports than risk in any hyped crypto projects that have bad tokenomics.

Only 2 games today but very intriguing. At Crypto Arena, the top 2 seed in the west badly needs a win to even their series against the Lakers. But can they do it away from home? The Lakers might be only ranked 7th but this time they are healthy and are too experienced when it comes to the playoffs.

In another very important game today, the Miami Heat, another low-ranked seed at #8 in the east will try to take advantage at home with a commanding 2-1 lead over the Bucks. This time Giannis is expected to return, we do not know if he is really fully recovered from his injury but they badly needed a win as well. The Miami Heat though very well-seasoned when it comes to the playoffs are suffering from their own injuries as well. Butler and Adebayo are not even guaranteed to play while they are already without Herro and Oladipo.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: April 24, 2023, 08:58:24 AM
I'd been contemplating lately playing a play-to-earn game again. Is there anybody here playing profitable P2E games? I have a few hours to allocate daily. I am 50/50 between trading and playing. I want to relax in the next months so I prefer to play a P2E game but of course, I also want to earn even a little like $40 daily should be fine. Investing in order to play is fine but I am done throwing thousands of dollars for some games so my budget might be a little tight this time when it comes to NFT games. Trading is also good especially when the market is starting to move but there are times that it is stressful too.

I stopped playing these Play to Earn games for me it's a waste of time because I hardly get profit from playing these Play to Earn platforms, but if you want to just whilst away time and you play for fun then go for it.
I'm not really a gamer I was attracted to its potential profit because of the hype and the shill, but instead, I lose a lot, all the five Play To Earn I invested like Dpet and AgeOfGods are down 90 to 95% of my initial investment, I was a victim of hype of these PlayToEarn.
So think twice f you want it for fun or profit, I don't know if there's profit that I can expect in the future from this PTE, but I'm not hoping anymore.

So true. I also lost all of my play-to-earn investments before except Axie Infinity where I am not sure I was even or slightly at a loss or gain. I am stubborn though as I still see potential in PTE and invested again last year which was probably my last time to invest thousands of dollars per game. This year I haven't invested in any of these PTE but I am still believing that this young system will become effective and long-lasting when done correctly although profits may be little and it will be more focused on the fun and entertaining side. And I also learned in the past so I will only invest little amounts if I am to play again.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 24, 2023, 08:34:09 AM
apart from the fact that he can still fight impressively and might be next undisputed champion in bantamweight if he's lucky to unify the belts as fast as he can.

In Nonito Donaire's last 6 bouts within 5 years, it's only against Naoya Inoue he got defeated.

After his first defeat against Inoue, he reclaimed 2 winnings later on at the age of 38 and 39 with an impressive knockout win. I think that's the reason why he still wants to fight since Inoue is nowhere anymore in the Bantamweight specifically in the 122 lbs division.

I'm sure if he losses again at the hands of a boxer in the 122 aside from Inoue, he will now consider retiring from boxing and finally hang his gloves. Until then, he will just continue to fight and if he continues winning, maybe just targeting being an undisputed champion as his final target before retiring.

Donaire really has that lethal hooks that this division is not capable of absorbing well. Donaire may be slower now but his chin is somewhat durable in this division and he has enough world-class experience to try to connect his deadly hooks in 12 rounds. I am confident Donaire will become champion again but I am not sure how long he can stay as champion knowing his age. Hopefully, 2 unification fights will happen so it only needs 1 more unification fight to determine the next undisputed champion. Otherwise, it will take years to collect all 4 belts to become undisputed.

By the way, it's 118 for bantamweight mate, 122 is 1 division above.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 24, 2023, 08:14:09 AM
So congratulations to those with winning bets, especially Tank KO/TKO. What is next for KingRy? I feel that he might focus on his social media skills. He honestly mentioned some years ago that he is earning big amounts from it and is okay even if he was inactive in boxing. That is tempting indeed especially if you are already rich because boxing is not easy as you have to sacrifice a lot, especially during a training camp. This was probably the reason why Canelo and Eddie Reynoso kicked him out of their camp, both are gym rats. So I guess Ryan Garcia is done with boxing unless this defeat brings back the fire in him or if his pride won't allow him to get out of the sport after a KO loss.

As for Tank Davis. I wonder if he is now ready to fight for a title. He should stop cherry-picking his opponents because I would love to see him vie for a title for a chance to become a 2 division world champion. His mindset of being the face of boxing though might be an indication that he will continue to cherry-pick his next opponents.

2AM , wonder if I should sleep.

My problem, Golden State is playing in 2,5 hours and I really want to watch the game.  Grin

This is do or die. They win and the gain the momentum and Sacramento might get nervous. If they lose we all know it's over. Being this week on the road and having to win 3 straight with 2 on the road, that's gonna be impossible.

Draymond Green is returning after his 1 game suspension and will give them some defensive help inside. If 2 out of 3 players ( Steph / Klay / Poole ) make a good game shooting wise this will be a win for GSW.

I think it's gonna be a close game and I wouldn't wonder if it's open to the last shot. If the series returns to Sacramento being tied at 2:2 there might be a chance That the Kings are getting nervous. They are quite inexperienced in the playoffs and we all know what the GSW are, they are champions.

Gonna be an exiting game tonight.

Maybe your lack of sleep was worth it. The game was indeed very close and was open to the winner in the last shot. I really thought Sacramento would've won this game. GSW is indeed a very dangerous 3rd quarter team although the inexperienced Kings made their own rally in the 4th.

Now the Kings need to win in game 5 if they want to stay alive in the playoffs. The Kings are now feeling the pressure they never felt during the regular season. I am still hoping they can win this series against the defending champions but it will be an uphill battle. The best way for the Kings to win is to lead early and stop GSW's potential rallies. It will be very hard to beat the defending champions in the last few minutes.

1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SUI TOKEN PRICE SPECULATION on: April 21, 2023, 08:41:29 AM
Congratulations to you mate. I've been very busy lately that I am not able to track these big projects that are expected to release their tokens.

$0.03 is indeed a very cheap price although it is limited. At $0.1 per token, it gives Sui a valuation of $1 billion in market cap which is just right. I am not sure about its short-time growth though since it would've been easier for the token to pump if the public sale is below $1 billion. Long term though or let's say next year and 2025 where people are expecting a bull run, $0.2 is very doable.

If I were given the chance to buy cheap, I will probably dump half of it at $0.01 or above. I will then observe the market and do some buybacks when it's priced below $0.01, maybe a $0.05 to $0.08 ratio.

So no airdrop for SUI mate?
1471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 21, 2023, 08:21:42 AM
Simple easy answer. What did you gamble then? So no, it is not gambling. For me, it is only accounted as gambling if we risked something, be it money or other kinds of stuff that has value. If you are playing something that enables you to earn money if you win, that is not gambling. It's like you join contests in sports, games, and other activities without gambling and yet you can earn if you win.

About the Suns, well they are back on track. Without Kawhi & PG13 they have no chance. They still made it a close game and it's not over yet but they are down 9 now with just 3min to go so I think this one is done and the home court advantage is back with the Suns.

It's really sad to happen to the Clippers. They have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George yet they never enjoyed the benefit of their acquisition due to injuries. I really doubt they can win the series against the Suns without at least Kawhi. The Clippers surprisingly made the game close but I doubt it will happen again when adjustments are also made in game 4  which will be their last chance to even the series at home.

KD is always expected to get the main focus of defense but Booker is the one making most of the attacks. One thing that made KD special is his efficiency, he is not the type of player that will keep on attacking if the defense is focused on him and the Suns has the luxury to have a dangerous line-up of stars that can take over their games.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 21, 2023, 06:06:26 AM
I cannot blame people to have full confidence in Inoue because he earned it. He has too many achievements and he is a guaranteed first ballot in the Hall of Fame even at this current stage of his career. P4p #1, undisputed champion, 3 division champion and he became a champion in only his 6th pro fight.

Fulton on the other hand is very brave by traveling to Japan to defend his belts. Fulton has the size and skills. Fulton has a proven solid chin too after what we saw during the Figuroa fight. So I won't be surprised if Fulton will try to establish himself early as the aggressor to gain respect and not allow Inoue to just hunt him like prey.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 21, 2023, 05:42:54 AM
so This fight between Spence and Thurman will only be an appetizer for what is to come, whoever wins, I think that the fight will be heard.

Is there assurance that this fight will happen?

According to this article below, it says that the deal is being finalized. However, it's not enough information. We need confirmation that the deal has already been finalized, so we can expect that the fight will really happen.

https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/errol-spence-keith-thurman-finalizing-a-deal-for-april-in-154-lb-fight/256670

I am tired of Errol Spence. We better not take things seriously when it is about him. Ducking Crawford for many years and still gets scared when Crawford is in his mid-30s and was inactive last year. Now corrupt WBC is giving him an easy mandatory against an inactive past prime Keith Thurman yet he still wants the fight at 154 so he cannot risk his belts which should not be the purpose of a mandatory defense.

I hope Spence gets hurt really bad so he will be out of boxing. Stanionis and Ortiz have overdue title shots due to Spence holding hostage of the belts. And there's also Ennis who already petitioned the IBF to enforce his mandatory status.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 20, 2023, 09:17:42 AM
$30 is not a lot of money although it's not bad for a starting capital for a newbie that is still learning. Sooner or later, that person will be knowledgeable enough and knows what is next for him. Is he going to add little by little or is it better to start a simple business in real life with a small capital?

But if that person only has $30 as his only savings, then better to tell him to start looking for another source of income because $30 is not going to make him rich. Maybe you can tell him the potential earning of leverage trading and he might get interested and study thoroughly how to profit from it. But it is indeed very very risky, especially for a newbie.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 20, 2023, 08:57:29 AM
All of them are doing great against "non ufc fighters". Some people say that this is similar to going from professional to amateur, of course you gonna do great there.
WTF?!
PFL and Bellator are not amateur MMA leagues, but go ahead and step in octagon to test how amater they are.
Let me tell you something, I think you never watched any MMA Bellator or PFL fight in your life, and you dont know what you are taking about.
You are allowed to have your oppinion, but this is end of discussion for me.

Wonder which of my words offended you so much...

Before you end this discussion, I would like to drag one last answer from you - you think that fighters from Bellator, PFL or other promotion are on the same level as UFC ?

I think you dont know the difference between professional, amateur and a guy who goes 2-3 times a week into gym for years just to "train mma" for himself.

The UFC is the biggest MMA promotion and it has the widest audience which means the company also has resources more than any other promotions out there. But this does not guarantee that its champions are always better than the other promotions. The UFC though has the resources to take the other promotions fighters when there are chances or once contracts are done. This is the only advantage the UFC has so most of us can say they have the best fighters in MMA but this is not 100% guaranteed.

An example that UFC champions may not be the best as always in the MMA is when WEC was purchased. The following year its former fighter Ben Henderson took over the lightweight division by impressively defeating UFC champion Frankie Edgar. Frankie Edgar after losing the rematch then dropped down in weight to fight for the featherweight belt, by then held by Jose Aldo, another ex-WEC. Edgar lost again.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 20, 2023, 07:58:23 AM
What can say about this potential staging of fight in Saudi Arabia involving the top heavyweights?

https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1648011840050307075

Do you think that Eddie Hearn can make this happen?

Who's going to be the main card? the undercard card?

Who's going to win between Fury and Usyk? Wilder vs Joshua?

Gonna be interesting if this can really happen in the future, and if that money is on the table, then I don't think that anyone can refuse it unless their ego flare up and wanted more slice on the pie.
That's certainly going to be a big one. But, I have my doubts it could materialize. Imagine how much the tickets will be? I think only the rich could afford that fight. Then pay-per-view, which is the only option for an average boxing fan. How much will it be? I bet it will be higher than the recent fights that will happen like Tank Davis versus Ryan Garcia that price ranges at $65 for DAZN subscribers and $85 for non-subscribers. Ouch!
I think that is the reason why they only go for one big fight per event. They want to maximize the profits they could collect so they divide them at different dates.
Saudi Arabia and even the other super-rich Gulf countries keep on hosting many different events not just for profit but some kind of long-term investment. These desert kingdoms knew that oil becomes irrelevant in the future so they are investing themselves in many ways in order to sustain their rich economies with or without oil. Saudi Arabia has too many futuristic projects including a city and it needs to convince people and investors around the world that it can be a good place to live, invest and entertain.

So I really believe that the fight is doable. They don't care about the profit of the specific event just like how many billions of dollars Qatar spent just to host the World Cup last year. The problem though is the Belly. Belly seems to lose his warrior spirit and instead inherited Wilder's duck spirit along with the WBC. Belly earlier denied this news as false which is crazy. Belly should just retire then rather than face Vaseline Chisora for the 4th time or Whyte for the 2nd time.

Saturday night event! A big one. The fight that we had been waiting for. The expensive one that I just mentioned above.  Grin

The undercards:
Sena Agbeko versus David Morrell Jr. WBA Super-Middleweight Belt (Regular)
Gabriel Rosado versus Bektemir Melikuziev - Super Middleweight Fight

Place your bets!
Hopefully, I won't be that busy so I can watch this fight. I already got Tank by stoppage but I honestly want Garcia to score an upset. It's really crazy how Showtime tries to mislead by calling Tank a 3-division champion. And Tank is starting to believe these lies when he said that he already belongs with the greats.  Cheesy
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 20, 2023, 07:31:25 AM

He needs to be impressive to attract more interest from the promoters. Even his opponent's is not that known fighter he
should still condition his body and train for the fight preparation.

I mean a kind of preparation same like when he's facing a decent fighter, he should treat every fight as an opportunity to bring the attention
of the fans, to help him hype his name inside this new division.

Casimero never disappoints us every time he is in the ring. The only reason why he can't win by KO is that his opponents often quit early. Just like his previous fight, instead of going toe-to-toe, his opponent didn't want to take more beating and acted like he was punched illegally, resulting in a no contest. If this boxer, Nghitumbwa, comes to fight, then we will certainly see an entertaining bout.

I really hope Casimero is training like he is fighting a championship fight. When he fought in Korea earlier, he left his country and trained in Thailand to keep away from distractions. Now I heard he is training in Cebu, Philippines but together with Nonito Donaire who is also to challenge another title. It does not guarantee that Casimero can focus though since he is most likely not staying in the same house with Donaire.

Casimero better be ready for any kind of style if he wants to become a champion. Inoue might be heavy-handed but he is not the type of fighter that wants to brawl. Fulton and Tapales can brawl but they are pretty much technical fighters as well. Casimero gets schooled by any of these fighters if he is only expecting them to brawl.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 20, 2023, 07:10:26 AM
That Lakers game was terrible. No Ja Morant and they still got spanked. Once again LeBron James led the team with a worst +/- of -17. I hate to even think it, but maybe old age is starting to get to Bron. I don’t see how his team can win games if he has the worst +/- of anyone else in the game. Not even sure how to explain it.

Well, I've seen Memphis in the past making winning streaks without Ja Morant. So I cannot really count them out since they are a very talented young team even if they are playing without Brandon Clarke and Adams this season. Without Ja Morant maybe Bane or Jackson Jr. become All-Stars. Anyways, props to the defense of Memphis, especially Jackson. Lebron at this age is still great but he cannot carry the whole team alone. The Lakers are still a little ahead since they stole a home game from Memphis but I really believe Memphis without Ja Morant can beat them.

What is annoying to me is Miami Heat's defeat to Gianisless Milwaukee.
