521  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: February 29, 2024, 10:10:02 PM
I think you should have tried to access your account when you first discovered it was frozen. Why did it take you four years to try to get your account unlocked? Regardless, if you had a balance it was your money therefore you have every right to try to get the funds returned to you. I do not know much about how Bittrex operates these days but do not give in if they try to put obstacles in your way to get to your funds.

I can not access my account Since my account was frozen in 2020 Are there any solutions to withdraw my balance?

522  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcasino.io won't let me cashout my money on: February 29, 2024, 10:05:21 PM
We have seen allegations in abundance against many casinos and gaming websites, usually it turns out there was much more to the story than was initially being told in the OP.

I think it will be the same here however there have been times I have been surprised when evidence pointed to the OP being a victim in some capacity. We have to keep an open mind until we read a reply by Bitcasino.

Pretty sure most sites don't allow bets until a deposit is confirmed to avoid the hassle of double spends. I am also pretty sure that Bitcasino or their partners would not just accuse this bettor of an action without good reason. Their reputation is worth way more than $2000. There has to be more to the story that the OP hasn't given us.

I'm not calling the OP a liar and I'm not saying a mixup couldn't have happened, but let's all remember that more than half the accusations we see in this section are false and intended to try to pressure a site to pay or smear a reputation. We shouldn't come to any conclusions without having all the information. Give the site time to respond(if they wish).
523  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 29, 2024, 09:58:24 PM
That is similar to what I was beginning to think. It is safe to put aside anything related to JackpotRacer and his claims against blackjack.fun (at least until/unless further evidence is put forward or more allegations are made).

Therefore the logical aspect of this thread has to be the outstanding questions related to their operations.

To my knowledge, they have not had any serious scam allegations made against them therefore (as I mentioned before) even if there was an issue where the Curacao licence might have expired and the Anjouan licence might have started, it would not be as serious an issue as them stating they had the licence at all times but it turns out they were not covered. If that happened it will damage their reputation and could raise trust issues.

Regarding the provably fair questions, we are all in the dark until/unless she replies.

In the meantime, where is the Blackjack.fun forum representative Eva when it comes to posting here? This thread was created by her to repel against what she cited as unfair/unjust attacks on the reputation of the casino yet she has been largely absent from the conversation including not addressing questions that some of the community sincerely feel should have been answered by now.
If I can venture a guess, she doesn't like the direction the thread has taken. It's no longer just about JackpotRacer's wrongdoings, which have already been established, it's also about whether or not the casino and the people running it are capable of hosting a fair game that can't be cheated by those who know how to.
524  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit refuse to send me back my deposits on: February 29, 2024, 09:45:47 PM
I think you have virtually zero chances to receive your money back. I am sure is extremely disappointing to read but you will have to move on and get past this incident. If you hold hopes for having the money returned you cannot be blamed for having wishful thinking but if we are being honest we know it will not happen.

By reporting the incident here you have already helped the community as it shows another claim against 1xbit/1xbit1 and you should try to find some solace in that.

Still no answer, still they stuck my funds and not give me back my money. I am very sad. Please someone help me to get back my funds!
525  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: February 29, 2024, 03:58:58 PM
Well, you have to ask yourself about the function of any administrator/liquidator that has been appointed to collate the assets of any company they are investigating. How many are primarily profit agencies that end up taking a huge amount of the assets to cover their own expenses while they investigate the matter?

After they take the funds for themselves, what remains is distributed (in most cases) unfairly across investors. If Cogito are taking advantage of the current situation it does not mean investors should give in to their offer.

I remember my balance being around $100 to $150 at the time of the hack.

Why would I want to sell that for a questionable token like they are offering that I would only be able to sell for around $5??

I mean, isn't that the math being this?
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Funds are SAFU": Here we go again, but with Coinbase! on: February 29, 2024, 03:53:12 PM
We all know the motto: not your keys, not your coins.

It is understandable that many people would not be in a position to download the whole blockchain but at the very least they could use Electrum in order to be sole users of their wallet. If investors do not have sole access to their crypto, it means any of the other parties that have access to them could effectively steal them (or be responsible for them being taken if there was a security lapse). Thankfully that did not happen in the case with Coinbase.

People who are not trading coins do not need to use an exchange. It is just ridiculous seeing people on X/Twitter having a mental breakdown over this even after hearing about "not your keys, not your coins" so many times.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ [POLL] ENGLISH FA CUP 2023/24 TOURNAMENT - Discussion Thread on: February 29, 2024, 03:46:01 PM
These are the FA Cup quarter-final fixtures to be played on Saturday 16th March:

Chelsea vs Leicester City
Manchester City vs Newcastle United
Manchester United vs Liverpool
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Coventry City

As it stands, most people would probably state Manchester City and Liverpool were favourites to win the trophy. After that there is not much to choose between Chelsea, Newcastle United and Manchester United. Least favourites have to be Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City.

528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ [POLL] FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 on: February 29, 2024, 03:39:36 PM
These were the previous results from the knockout stag first leg that were not updated:

Wednesday 21st February
FC Porto 1-0 Arsenal
Napoli 1-1 Barcelona

Tuesday 20th February
Inter Milan 1-0 Atletico Madrid
PSV Eindhoven 1-1 Borussia Dortmund

Arsenal suffered a loss and could be out if they do not win in the return leg. I think the season has been long therefore Arsenal could be tired with all those young players and for that reason could lose the tie (even if they drew on the night).

There were the latest results that were not updated:

530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: Carabao Cup On Final Sunday 25th February 2024: Chelsea vs Liverpool on: February 29, 2024, 03:30:20 PM
Liverpool had 99% of their first choice starting eleven unavailable because of injuries therefore to beat a Chelsea team that had near full first choice starting eleven was commendable. Klopp will leave Liverpool in good shape because the players coming through the youth ranks of today will be part of their first team tomorrow.

I hope Chelsea owners and fan have patience with Pochettino, he will make them challenge for the title again but he needs time.

But what makes this victory feel even more exciting for Liverpool is that they achieved it in less than ideal conditions.
Liverpool came in having lost many players due to injury, namely Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota.
With minimal options, Liverpool must rely on young players. Harvey Elliott and Conor Bradley, both just 20, started.
With this victory we can see where Chelsea's level is, with young players who have fantastic prices.
It turns out that this is not a guarantee of being able to beat Liverpool and become champions of the Carabao Cup. Liverpool really deserves to get this trophy.

Once again congratulations to Liverpool! Hopefully this trend will continue in the EPL until the end of the season.

Ah well, there is another group of names that will get tagged for being so obvious in their for-hire-bump-service. If any entity employs bumping services it will eventually become apparent therefore it should never have been considered in the first place. I will follow suit when I have time and will tag the accounts because they have zero legitimacy.

Nice one, @notblox1! Most definitely a hired bumping/spam service.

For now, we have a list of these accounts:

533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 29, 2024, 03:10:05 PM
Take a look at the manner in which the OP is posting, he posts once in the hope of getting merits then gives up and does not want to re-post in the same thread again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3550524;sa=showPosts

As soon as I read the OP, I thought it was an alt-account being operated by a particular member from the Bengali local community. Looking through his history, he did make a post in the Bengali community. Still, it is not concrete but the hunch is there.
534  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 27, 2024, 11:07:00 PM
In these scenarios the one receiving the merits can state they received and have no control over the one who sent them (which can be true of course) therefore however unlikely, what are the chances both accounts are being operated by the same puppeteer? When it comes to this forum, very strange things have happened over the years and still continue to happen to this day, therefore is it an option?

I guess it could be case of merit purchasing, the one who sent those merits might have sold the merits and the account who got it might have bought those merits. No matter what's the real story of those merits, the thing is that it's a clear case of merit abuse.
535  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 27, 2024, 11:00:42 PM
Good news! both bustabit and bustadice are back online. Thanks for hanging in there. Let the fun begin! (while we continue monitoring things).
Congratulations on the successful transfer. Wishing you success in your endeavours.

I'm surprised so much bankroll stayed, maybe Leo himself was a big investor.
I am also surprised the numbers did not drop on par with the previous days when divestment seemed to be on the minds of investors because the sale was announced. The bankroll is just below 700 BTC therefore well above the 400 BTC I anticipated would be left when the transaction to transfer was going to be completed.
536  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: February 27, 2024, 10:40:44 AM
You skipped past the question, maybe you will answer it this time. Look at the following account:

~OddJobsForBitcoin
~Newchanka
~Michael63
~Cyberczar

What are your opinions regarding what the correct form of action should be for the following accounts (including your OP account) if a demotion or similar button were to be implemented. If you admit to having any other accounts I will add them to the list therefore do you have any other accounts?

A system that promotes but never demotes never gets the best of its men. Let’s make this happen.
537  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 27, 2024, 10:31:18 AM
What are potential cheats supposed to do when they are watching account farmers and literally some of the lowest of the low trying to rank up using any means necessary?

For example, when action is not taken when members are blatantly using purchased accounts and are lying about participating in charity events for people (namely those that contributed in the field of cryptology) that are no longer with us and are instead being rewarded with enough merits to get to 500 and then to see those accounts get selected for the spam fest campaign that is Stake and to make 99% of their posts spamming the gambling board. It encourages others to post in similar fashion.

Regardless of the manner in which a system has been set up to function, if there is any chance of cheating/manipulating it people will try to find a way. When merit abuse occurs, members should take action as a collective in order to send out a signal to members that try to cheat.
538  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Sort of Signature is "FUCK Royse777"? on: February 26, 2024, 10:53:25 PM
The answer to the question is: many of them will never learn. The irony for the members that follow this pattern is that they know there is a chance it will end badly for them (just as it ended badly for many others) but they still continue to go down a path where they bring further attention to themselves in the Reputation board of all places.

I have lost count the number of times members have received tags after they created a thread they that had little to no purpose in the first place.

Why is it that when people create these topics it usually ends up in the OP getting neg trust? Now a self admitted cheater outs himself. When will people learn?
539  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 26, 2024, 10:47:36 PM
As it has a proven track record it is unlikely for any issue to arise on the Bustabit server therefore third-party associates would most probably be where to look. If any outage were to happen at ActuallyFair (correct me if I am wrong) it would bring a cloud of uncertainty to all rounds that have finished on Bustabit until the connection was re-established.

The downsides are that the system is more complex and therefore more difficult to explain, especially to less-technical players, and that an outage at ActuallyFair could interrupt betting.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: Carabao Cup On Final Sunday 25th February 2024: Chelsea vs Liverpool on: February 26, 2024, 09:44:26 AM
At one stage Liverpool were missing 10 first team players therefore they had to play the game with a reserve team full of kids therefore surprised most people watching the game by winning it.

Having said that Chelsea statistically were also a very young team but for some inexplicable reason they failed to do push for a winner, instead doing very little when extra-time began and that was when Liverpool were playing most of the attacking football. The game would have gone to penalties if Van Dijk had not scored 4 minutes from the end of the game.

Klopp celebrated that win with a lot of comfort and satisfaction, he personifies Liverpool therefore they will suffer without him when he will not be there next season. I think it is obvious Salah will also start the next season playing his football in the  Saudi Pro League therefore Liverpool will have to cope without their two main stars.

Congratulations to Liverpool!
I expected them to win but not in the extra time, for sure not in the last two minutes before penalties and Chelsea disappointed me for not scoring any goal.
Unfortunately I couldn't follow the whole game and Klopp should be happy for this achievement before leaving Liverpool.
For Chelsea, that defeat could serve as an alert to wake them up from their low level right now..
