581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: Carabao Cup On Final Sunday 25th February 2024: Chelsea vs Liverpool on: February 29, 2024, 03:30:20 PM
Liverpool had 99% of their first choice starting eleven unavailable because of injuries therefore to beat a Chelsea team that had near full first choice starting eleven was commendable. Klopp will leave Liverpool in good shape because the players coming through the youth ranks of today will be part of their first team tomorrow.

I hope Chelsea owners and fan have patience with Pochettino, he will make them challenge for the title again but he needs time.

But what makes this victory feel even more exciting for Liverpool is that they achieved it in less than ideal conditions.
Liverpool came in having lost many players due to injury, namely Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota.
With minimal options, Liverpool must rely on young players. Harvey Elliott and Conor Bradley, both just 20, started.
With this victory we can see where Chelsea's level is, with young players who have fantastic prices.
It turns out that this is not a guarantee of being able to beat Liverpool and become champions of the Carabao Cup. Liverpool really deserves to get this trophy.

Once again congratulations to Liverpool! Hopefully this trend will continue in the EPL until the end of the season.

Ah well, there is another group of names that will get tagged for being so obvious in their for-hire-bump-service. If any entity employs bumping services it will eventually become apparent therefore it should never have been considered in the first place. I will follow suit when I have time and will tag the accounts because they have zero legitimacy.

Nice one, @notblox1! Most definitely a hired bumping/spam service.

For now, we have a list of these accounts:

583  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 29, 2024, 03:16:47 PM
In the meantime, where is the Blackjack.fun forum representative Eva when it comes to posting here? This thread was created by her to repel against what she cited as unfair/unjust attacks on the reputation of the casino yet she has been largely absent from the conversation including not addressing questions that some of the community sincerely feel should have been answered by now.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 29, 2024, 03:10:05 PM
Take a look at the manner in which the OP is posting, he posts once in the hope of getting merits then gives up and does not want to re-post in the same thread again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3550524;sa=showPosts

As soon as I read the OP, I thought it was an alt-account being operated by a particular member from the Bengali local community. Looking through his history, he did make a post in the Bengali community. Still, it is not concrete but the hunch is there.
585  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 27, 2024, 11:07:00 PM
In these scenarios the one receiving the merits can state they received and have no control over the one who sent them (which can be true of course) therefore however unlikely, what are the chances both accounts are being operated by the same puppeteer? When it comes to this forum, very strange things have happened over the years and still continue to happen to this day, therefore is it an option?

I guess it could be case of merit purchasing, the one who sent those merits might have sold the merits and the account who got it might have bought those merits. No matter what's the real story of those merits, the thing is that it's a clear case of merit abuse.
586  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 27, 2024, 11:00:42 PM
Good news! both bustabit and bustadice are back online. Thanks for hanging in there. Let the fun begin! (while we continue monitoring things).
Congratulations on the successful transfer. Wishing you success in your endeavours.

I'm surprised so much bankroll stayed, maybe Leo himself was a big investor.
I am also surprised the numbers did not drop on par with the previous days when divestment seemed to be on the minds of investors because the sale was announced. The bankroll is just below 700 BTC therefore well above the 400 BTC I anticipated would be left when the transaction to transfer was going to be completed.
587  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: February 27, 2024, 10:40:44 AM
You skipped past the question, maybe you will answer it this time. Look at the following account:

~OddJobsForBitcoin
~Newchanka
~Michael63
~Cyberczar

What are your opinions regarding what the correct form of action should be for the following accounts (including your OP account) if a demotion or similar button were to be implemented. If you admit to having any other accounts I will add them to the list therefore do you have any other accounts?

A system that promotes but never demotes never gets the best of its men. Let’s make this happen.
588  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 27, 2024, 10:31:18 AM
What are potential cheats supposed to do when they are watching account farmers and literally some of the lowest of the low trying to rank up using any means necessary?

For example, when action is not taken when members are blatantly using purchased accounts and are lying about participating in charity events for people (namely those that contributed in the field of cryptology) that are no longer with us and are instead being rewarded with enough merits to get to 500 and then to see those accounts get selected for the spam fest campaign that is Stake and to make 99% of their posts spamming the gambling board. It encourages others to post in similar fashion.

Regardless of the manner in which a system has been set up to function, if there is any chance of cheating/manipulating it people will try to find a way. When merit abuse occurs, members should take action as a collective in order to send out a signal to members that try to cheat.
589  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Sort of Signature is "FUCK Royse777"? on: February 26, 2024, 10:53:25 PM
The answer to the question is: many of them will never learn. The irony for the members that follow this pattern is that they know there is a chance it will end badly for them (just as it ended badly for many others) but they still continue to go down a path where they bring further attention to themselves in the Reputation board of all places.

I have lost count the number of times members have received tags after they created a thread they that had little to no purpose in the first place.

Why is it that when people create these topics it usually ends up in the OP getting neg trust? Now a self admitted cheater outs himself. When will people learn?
590  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 26, 2024, 10:47:36 PM
As it has a proven track record it is unlikely for any issue to arise on the Bustabit server therefore third-party associates would most probably be where to look. If any outage were to happen at ActuallyFair (correct me if I am wrong) it would bring a cloud of uncertainty to all rounds that have finished on Bustabit until the connection was re-established.

The downsides are that the system is more complex and therefore more difficult to explain, especially to less-technical players, and that an outage at ActuallyFair could interrupt betting.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: Carabao Cup On Final Sunday 25th February 2024: Chelsea vs Liverpool on: February 26, 2024, 09:44:26 AM
At one stage Liverpool were missing 10 first team players therefore they had to play the game with a reserve team full of kids therefore surprised most people watching the game by winning it.

Having said that Chelsea statistically were also a very young team but for some inexplicable reason they failed to do push for a winner, instead doing very little when extra-time began and that was when Liverpool were playing most of the attacking football. The game would have gone to penalties if Van Dijk had not scored 4 minutes from the end of the game.

Klopp celebrated that win with a lot of comfort and satisfaction, he personifies Liverpool therefore they will suffer without him when he will not be there next season. I think it is obvious Salah will also start the next season playing his football in the  Saudi Pro League therefore Liverpool will have to cope without their two main stars.

Congratulations to Liverpool!
I expected them to win but not in the extra time, for sure not in the last two minutes before penalties and Chelsea disappointed me for not scoring any goal.
Unfortunately I couldn't follow the whole game and Klopp should be happy for this achievement before leaving Liverpool.
For Chelsea, that defeat could serve as an alert to wake them up from their low level right now..
592  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: February 25, 2024, 10:18:02 PM
It is now at 144.

Personally, I think the sale is probably a good move because the new owner/operator already possesses the know-how to run Bustabit/Bustadice as well as improve them. It looks as though the new owner/operator will have to do a lot of work to gain the trust of investors even though devans has stated he has known and worked with him for several years.

I wish both the new owner and devans the best of success.

It was around 700.

The amount of money both Bustadice and Bustabit were making for the owner was extremely impressive. I have seen numbers regarding the divestment at Bustabit but viewed the Bustadice late, it is currently at 152 BTC. Does anybody know what the Bustadice bankroll was before the announcement was made by devans on 19th February 2024 regarding the sale of Bustadice (and Bustabit)?
593  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: February 25, 2024, 09:51:55 PM
Since you created this thread with the intention of attention-seeking and not really because of the question you asked, I would like to ask if you have any opinion regarding what should happen to the following accounts (including your OP account) if any sort of demotion button were ever to be added:

For obvious reasons it might be difficult for you to take a purely impartial view on the above mentioned accounts but nevertheless your views would be interesting to read.

594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: Carabao Cup On Final Sunday 25th February 2024: Chelsea vs Liverpool on: February 25, 2024, 09:24:32 PM
I have to give congratulations to Liverpool too. Klopp knew he had a good chance to try to unsettle Chelsea and win the game even though he fielded a team of inexperienced young players along a few senior regular players. The way Van Dijk connected with the ball to guide his header to the goal was perfect and the goalkeeper had very little chance of saving it.

I hope Liverpool use the win as a catalyst to try to win as much as they can this season because it will be a great way for Liverpool and Klopp to part ways.

As for Chelsea, I hope they get past the disappointment of the loss today and start doing what they can to start climbing up the Premier League table with the intention to start next season with a fresh mindset. I am sure Pochettino is the right man for the manager role at Chelsea and hopefully next season he will improve their team.

Congratulations to Liverpool, it was a good achievement, they can still achieve more things like the Fa Cup, the European League and the Premier League, but the fact that at least Liverpool won this tournament is already something very motivating.

596  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 25, 2024, 05:55:15 PM
All this does is shine an unnecessary light on both accounts and some of us will probably keep an eye on them from time to time just to see if they make any mistake which connects either/both accounts to more accounts. Why the desperation to send 50 merits in one go in this way when it could have been handled in a different manner which could have attracted less attention.

Now both accounts have been brought to our attention.

My question is, how do I give 50 merit in this simple post? Merit is given to those who post good quality standards, but it is seen that merit is being misused. Merits are being offered to random posts that need to be noted. They are trying to grow new accounts using multiple accounts.

You're right. It's a misuse of merits and both accounts are probably connected, but it's hard to prove.

Icefrag has been inactive for over five years, and all of his merits have been airdropped, so it's possible that he's part of a larger account farm. hashuna, on the other hand, is a newbie and all his posts are related to "Pyrin" announcement.

597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: February 25, 2024, 05:44:17 PM
What are the chances Liverpool will win all four competitions they are still involved in? They are in the Europa League as well as the Premier League, FA Cup and they are playing the final of the EFL (Carabao Cup) today against Chelsea. Manchester City are current Champions League winners and they will not want to give up their crown without a fight.

Of course these 3 clubs are the strongest candidates for the EPL title this season. Their points difference is not much. It seems that seeing the situation of these 3 teams they will compete until the end of the season. My prediction is that the new EPL champion can be seen in the last match of the season. Liverpool are trying to give a gift to Kloop who will leave, Guardiola certainly wants to set a record for consecutive EPL champions, then Arsenal want to make amends last season. It's quite difficult to guess, but I'm favoring Man City champions.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: Carabao Cup On Final Sunday 25th February 2024: Chelsea vs Liverpool on: February 25, 2024, 05:38:38 PM
Both teams are desperate to win the game. Chelsea need their first trophy under their new manager Pochettino and under their new owner. Liverpool want to win to give their manager Klopp a wonderful goodbye before he leaves his job at the end of this season. I had it wrong, they are in to extra-time with less than five minutes left before it goes on to penalties.

I know how important this game for Chelsea too but still think Liverpool will win in the main time.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: February 25, 2024, 01:33:02 PM
There is one game taking place today:

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Sheffield United

These are the results of the games played yesterday 24th February 2024:

Aston Villa 4-2 Nottingham Forest
Brighton and Hove Albion 1-1 Everton
Crystal Palace 3-0 Burnley
Manchester United 1-2 Fulham
Bournemouth 0-1 Manchester City
Arsenal 4-1 Newcastle United

What a team Arteta has built at Arsenal, they seem to be playing the most attacking football this season and will be there fighting to win the title alongside Manchester City and Liverpool.

As for Tottenham and Manchester United, on current form they do not deserve to have a Champions League spot and for that reason Aston Villa have rightfully occupied 4th place.
600  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 25, 2024, 01:09:09 PM
Personally, what I hope can be the outcome of that point is a way for blackjack-fun to clear their reputation and invalidate JPR's claim, both inside and outside this forum. One of the accusation by JPR is the validity of their license.
How would they (or any other online gaming website for that matter) be able to prove to a satisfactory level that will be accepted by most members here that they have indeed operated with appropriate licences at all times? When you click the Anjouan licence validator link it does not show the date the licence was issued yet it does confirm they licence is currently valid.

From my perspective, if they did not have a licence for the overlap period of the Curacao licence expiring and the Anjouan licence being issued, it is not that much of a big issue but them stating they had it and it turns out they did not have it is something that will damage their reputation and raise trust issues.

And man, JackpotRacer rings a bell in my head from years back.  He's been complaining about one thing or another (or it could just be this one thing) for a long time if I recall correctly.
He seems to be a serial complainer but I have been unable to work out his modus operandi.
