581  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mobile Gaming (ALL) Thread on: November 15, 2023, 03:28:02 AM
I've played a few mobile gacha games but I find the daily grind necessary to have a strong account to be tedious and I drop them after a few days. There are a few tactical games like Aster Tatariqus and Girls Frontline 2: Exilium which look interesting due to their nice anime aesthetic and strategic gameplay. I will give these games a try when they are released outside of Japan and China.
582  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: November 14, 2023, 05:32:25 AM
I click on the address where its sent to and it looks like starting Yesterday and Today, a bunch of money is just being mass sent to this one address, including my money
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/3KUHpUCxaaJAsR5DQYB5rPYK8xwQprcZC9

is this something related to giving back the money from FTX victims? What's happening?

The money Rollbit sent was already confirmed and is now being transferred out. The outgoing transaction is being sent to a wallet used for consolidating recent deposits sent to FTX. There aren't any other clues as to the wallet's purpose because there is no other activity besides these consolidations.

The FTX claims website indicates that customers are only entitled to their balance prior to November 11, 2022. Since it is after the claim deadline and your lost funds were sent to FTX after the specified date it's not looking too favorable but perhaps the custodial service you used could amend their claim or submit a new one to try and get back those funds.
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 14, 2023, 04:09:17 AM
Anytime I've asked a chatbot to predict the price of Bitcoin on a date that is many months into the future it always thinks the price will go up. If you ask for a short term prediction it will give you an answer based on recent price trends. There is nothing really special about AI predictions. The answers you get will be based either on random predictions they scraped from the web or on recent trends. The next time there is a crypto winter, AI won't see it coming until we are already in the midst of it.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 14, 2023, 03:26:08 AM
I thought bookmakers would add this fight so people can place bets and but I look at the stakes and I didn't see this fight listed, from what I can see bookmakers don't want to get involved with fights that don't show signs of seriousness, fights in which the fighters don't take themselves very seriously. but bookmakers keep adding friendly football games and we all know that in friendly football games, team coaches don't put their best players on most of the time, but even so, bookmakers put these games on so that people can bet on them.

That's why I don't understand why this fight isn't added to the stake, could it be that other bookmakers have added this fight so that people can place bets? And is anyone here going to place a bet on this fight and who are they going to bet on? I won't make any bets, but I'm more inclined to think that Andre August can come out victorious in this fight. he seems to me to have a chance of winning

I'm sure the fight will be listed on sportsbooks eventually. There are plenty of low level fights you can bet on so there is no reason to exclude this one. I won't be betting on this fight but I consider it easy money if you're picking Jake Paul. His opponent is an Uber driver. Oftentimes, the terms "cab driver" and "Uber driver" are used as slang terms for fighters of low quality but Jake Paul's opponent is a literal full-time Uber driver. It's as obvious of a cherry pick as you are going to see. The odds will likely be very wide in Jake's favor, that's why I don't find it an attractive bet.
585  Other / Meta / Re: What's AI Written Post? on: November 14, 2023, 02:26:40 AM
If campaign managers started allowing AI generated posts then the forum would be 100% spam. There would be no reason for organic conversation when people could just earn money from copy and pasting from ChatGPT. It would not benefit any of the advertisers if most posts were just low effort and full of mistakes.

As far as I know the forum itself doesn't have a rule on using AI but these types of posts tend to get flagged and removed often. AI spam could have a negative effect on search engine visibility if it gets too out of control.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 13, 2023, 03:37:23 AM
mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago
Was this a flex?  Cheesy

Yes this is a big flex mate and I don't believe that that member truly lost such an exorbitant amount on stake just 2 weeks ago,  this should probably be a make-up story and figure because that figure is too high,  $200,000 in a go as a lost is such a huge amount for anyone but I know is not impossible but in this case I can see a clear impossibility in the event unless if the member decide to share some more evidence to support this claims.

The story is definitely BS. A few weeks ago this user also claimed he lost $400k on Exodus Wallet and he used that post to promote some scammy Telegram channel pretending to be Trust Wallet.
https://ninjastic.space/post/63002703

He also made a post about how the CEO of Stake was decapitated and his source for that information was a Medium blog post created by a CNN impersonator.

587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eloncoin will be massive. on: November 13, 2023, 03:06:05 AM
I have tried to check it's total supply and exchanges which it could be operated, but I haven't seen. it's just a unique coin just as Elon musk always like his things to be. So I see it as one of the most important altcoin to hold because it future will be bright.

What do you guys think about eloncoin?

I don't see it becoming the next dogecoin. It would have been better for adoption if it had been a token on Binance Smart Chain, Tron, or Polygon. According to its announcement thread there are a few low volume exchanges where it is supported. That is something positive at least but if it was a BSC token it could've already been listed on some really popular DEXs with much better liquidity. Maybe it can be useful as a really cheap gambling coin if Lightlord decides to add it to one of his casinos.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: November 13, 2023, 02:34:39 AM
This fight is just weeks away, but I don't know, it is just me or others see that there are no hype in this fight? It could be because this two is showing respect with each other? And then in their interview, you will really hear that they don't talk against each other but instead focusing on what they want to do in the future, that is facing Canelo Alvarez. Both of them as far as we know are looking for Canelo in the future.

But I guess they need to have a storyline so that fans might go and watch this fight. As I will say that they are no PPV stars, although there are undercard that is good as well. Like in the Plant vs Benavidez, there is animosity and so it makes the fight more interesting as compare to this one which look very soft to me, just saying.

Benavidez says that if he wins this fight and Canelo is not available, he might go and fight Morrell as he had the WBA regular belt.

That's probably why Showtime is getting out of boxing at the end of the year. These fighters aren't household names and shouldn't be on PPV, but the purses they're demanding require that you charge fans so much money to watch them. Pushing everything to PPV limits the popularity of fighters like Benavidez and of the sport overall. Even a megafight like Crawford vs Spence only got 650k buys — which is really poor for a fight hyped up for many years — so to make up for decreasing buys, promoters raise the price for viewers which further limits their audience.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 11, 2023, 11:36:00 PM
There is news of Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder fighting in Saudi Arabia on December 23. They won't be facing each other but instead Joshua would fight Otto Wallin and Wilder would fight Joseph Parker.

These are very good fights. Otto Wallin was one of Fury's toughest opponents and has no losses other than that fight. Joseph Parker is a former world champion who is still considered a top contender and he looked impressive on the Fury-Ngannou undercard.

590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTT token everly hit it ATH again? on: November 11, 2023, 11:01:54 PM
When a token has fallen by 95% like FTT it is possible that we can see some big pumps. It won't get anywhere close to its ATH though. What remains of FTX is being sold off. FTT tokens could be abandoned entirely, dumped, or transferred to new ownership. If the FTX exchange comes back then the token would get relisted on many exchanges and current holders would use that opportunity to cash out causing the price to crash.

You would have to be a complete degen to invest a significant amount in FTT right now. It will take a long time before everything is fully resolved with FTX. It is risky to trade this token but if you have a few bucks to play around then I don't see much of a problem.

592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 11, 2023, 06:31:03 AM
A 35 year old club fighter who has fought mostly guys with losing records is the type of opponent I would expect a young novice fighting 4 rounders would fight. Jake Paul has been a pro long enough that he should at least be fighting some fringe contenders. There are plenty of faded eastern european former champions with some name recognition that would be more suitable opponents.

They are trying to spin this in a positive way by saying that Canelo and Crawford fought guys with really poor records in their ninth fight but the comparison is ridiculous because those guys were very young, Canelo was only 16 in his ninth fight. Loma and Inoue already fought multiple world champions in their ninth fight but they don't make that comparison because it's obviously stupid.

Jake isn't trying to build a legitimate career. He is cherry picking an easy opponent with the hope of getting a highlight reel KO and perhaps people will be dumb enough to fall for this farce that it will convince them to throw $80 down the toilet next time he fights a has been UFC fighter on PPV.
593  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: November 11, 2023, 04:53:37 AM
However, as we know there is no such thing that can work for us in the background and make you money better stay away from it. They are already marked as suspicious by my antivirus so it’s better two steps away from these peeps. Hope so it helps.
I couldn't find the site which you have mentioned in your post. But there used to be an app which was allowing the user to connect their Freebitco account in it for running the hourly roll simulator for 24 hours. Freebitco doesn't allow the usage of such simulators. How have you found the site?

Okay guys, here is the exact URL of the website that I was talking about. I think I have misplaced a letter here and there. But I was able to screenshot it on my last visit.

The exact Scam Site URL is: freebltco.in

This shady site is also getting published on various micro-tasking sites these days. Probably it is a new site and they are going all in with their marketing budget.

The good thing is my browser is able to identify it as a spam website and the browser also tries to take us to a genuine website. I am not sure how it works but it is a good thing, right?

@Freebitcoin shall try to take it down because they are also using all the theme parts as it is from the original website. I am not putting all the screenshots here but if you guys visit the website then you will come to know that.

These types of scams are extremely common. I have seen them advertised on Telegram and even in this forum there are scammers like gregsonstone who sell fake scripts to automate the wheel of fortune. The wheel of fortune results can't be manipulated by a script due to the provably fair mechanism. These automated programs never work as promised and are highly likely to contain malware.

I'm not sure if FreeBitco.in is interested in the whack-a-mole game of trying to get their sites shut down but regular users can contribute by submitting a complaint to the abuse prevention email listed in their WHOIS information.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favourite Alt-Coin, and why? on: November 11, 2023, 12:54:26 AM
When dogecoin was much cheaper I would use it for gambling. Once it attracted attention from Musk and started pumping I swapped it for BTC. The community became really annoying and obsessed with Elon Musk. It was no longer fun to hold this coin so I dumped it. It's difficult to find interest in altcoins aside from just speculating. There are some privacy coins with interesting features but lack of businesses and exchange support has kept their prices depressed. I have dumped most of my altcoins after their prices started coming down in the bear market. I was attracted by the slick marketing and potential of high returns but in the end they didn't offer enough to compete with Bitcoin.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Biting more than i can chew. How can i do better? on: November 10, 2023, 11:23:14 PM
I am a young man who is not married. I have made some mistakes in how I use money and the resources I obtain. So, I have come to share this problem with everyone in the hope of finding help and changing the way I misuse money.

When we are young we often lack the foresight to be able to properly handle our finances. There's nothing that can be done to recover what you have lost due to irresponsibility but you can take the lessons learned to adequately manage your future income. It's happened to me before and for a long period I was unable to earn very much.

It can take a while to bounce back but what has worked for me was completely cutting off most expenses aside from the bare minimum needed to live. I like to keep detailed information of how much money I have saved up and if it starts to get too low then I will look for an area to cut spending from.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to LN BTC without conversion on: November 10, 2023, 08:28:07 AM
There are a few Lightning wallets that have a unified balance. When you first send BTC to your wallet it will open a lightning channel for you. When you need to send a payment to an on-chain address it will do a submarine swap to transfer those funds. That’s about as close as you can get to the idea you’re proposing.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could stable coins save a deprecating economy on: November 10, 2023, 05:37:11 AM
Failing economies could just adopt the US dollar if they think it will boost them in some way. Stablecoins could be useful if they were more widely accepted. Currently, their greatest benefit is as a store of value. The US dollar is still susceptible to manipulation and inflation but it will not depreciate as fast as a currency suffering hyperinflation.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anyone saw mempool right now? Mempool spam on: November 10, 2023, 05:08:59 AM
The fees have come down to more reasonable levels. It's late in the day and also a holiday weekend in the United States so this might cause fewer on-chain activity for a brief period. Most of the spam is related to minting BRC-20 tokens. There is not much actual usage of these tokens once they are minted so eventually the shitcoin spam will subside.

Not sure if everyone has heard of Andre Berto before, he was one of the best 147 lbs about 10 years or more ago. He held the WBC belt before losing to Victor Ortiz.

And we will have his revenge to another man who beat him, Robert "The Ghost" Guererro, another good fighter in that era. But both of them are already way past their primes already and it jus surprises that this two are going to square it off.

https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/11/andre-berto-fighting-robert-guerrero-in-rematch-on-november-25th/

They will be on the undercard of Benavidez vs Andrade.

Berto’s been retired for 5 years and Guerrero should’ve stayed retired after announcing it 6 years ago. This fight really makes no sense. These old guys shouldn’t still be taking punishment. It’s a really bad look for the sport. They will never be contenders again and the money would be better invested in developing younger talent, which is something PBC really needs to improve on.
