I think that litecoin has a great future. It is silver. one of the competitors of bitcoin. I think it will show itself more.
Well, it's true that Litecoin is silver to Bitcoin's gold, but the way I see it, is that Litecoin will complement the pioneer cryptocurrency rather than becoming a rival or competitor. While Bitcoin has been struggling to reach consensus for SegWit adoption, Litecoin has managed to adopt it first meaning that it has a well unified community than the former. Also, Litecoin has faster transaction speeds, and cheaper fees than BTC, making it quite attractive for micropayments. Given the level of attention that LTC has received lately, i'd say that it is far away from becoming dead anytime soon. It will continue to receive improvements and support from its users and developers, making it stand among other altcoins as a solid cryptocurrency for many years to come. Nevertheless, Litecoin has been one of the oldest altcoins in existence, making it one of the strongest cryptocurrencies in terms of adoption and hashrate. Just my thoughts It's far away from being dead, but the thing is it's not gonna pioneer over anything anymore, which is exactly why it's not so great as an investment. Especially now that crypto space has been filling up with lots of new, exciting stuff.

What are the most promising low market cap coins that are still under $1?
Dogecoin is still under $1 though you might not make any money from it since the price is always fluctuating in a weird direction. Probably that's because that coin was created as a running joke. Don't take it too seriously.

I only invested BTC and ETH. because the two coins are very suitable to be invested because the price continues to increase
While those 2 are solid, there are a lot of opportunities to invest in ICOs. Genie for example is an undervalued one, its a legitimate p2p lending platform looking to expand into the asset exchange space.

the price of ethereum for 2018 is $ 2500 and will increase by $ 5000 by 2019. because the price of ethereum is always stable and rarely to increase rapidly
IMO, if BTCBTCBTC on its own managed to get way above $15000, why not ETH? Smart contracts will go big, and so will ETH. It's just a matter of time.

Bitcoin cash could be it worth 2018 For me ethereum and waves is still the best coin to buy today, because both of this coins has a bright future and i am confident that both ethereum and waves can rise its value really well and i think both of this coin can be known by many people and in that way many people will make many money. ETH will surely hit and go way above the $1000 mark, it's just a matter of time. With regards to Waves, I'm not sure. The best coin to buy? The one you believe is highly undervalued.

You'd rather be better off investing your funds in another medium than day trading. Trading small amounts without an autotrader/trading bot is very exhausting and time consuming. Small trades wouldn't net you significant gains unless they're made by tens or hundreds.

I like those as well, more wary of Sia as its having a hard time breaking into the market as well as it should.
But Sia/Storj have great potential if they can increase demand for the service.
I'm also interested in Zen as it looks damn interesting, one of the few ICO's i really wish i had some capital to invest in.
Sia/Storj would be really big if they can provide a fully functioning efficient product, with easy access and is user friendly. They're on the way to it, but as of now, Gdrive and Dropbox are still kings.

ICOs are high-risk, high-reward investments. It’s important to know how much one is willing to invest and possibly lose before participating in one
too risky, it is same as gambling your money and waiting for much return. but not all ico can make us profitable so you must be very careful when investing, Yes it is too risky and the one thing is if you invest in the wrong campaign or the scams you’re too unlucky for that. And yet like a gambling you’re not sure if you gain profit. You’re just wait for nothing if you invest in the wrong campaign. Actually if you're gonna do a good background check on the offering you're interested you'll at least have a good idea if it's gonna prosper or not. It's hard to find gems but it is worth it.

The only long term strategy is to buy a few good altcoins and hold for a big price increase. I don't see any way of gaining big multipliers unless you hold some coins long term. You need though to find those gems when they are pennies a piece, a bit like penny stocks and when they explode in price, sell some of them for big gains. I would have been a millionaire now if some coins I had I had not sold for only a x 2 gain but I didn't know and am paying the price now. I hope I can slowly get a few good coins and grow a decent pension portfolio over time.
Would have been too if I hadn't liquidated a huge chunk of my portfolio way back 2015. Learned a lot from that. @ontopic In this space, patience is key, or a trading bot if you're into day-trades. 4 months is way too little of an experience believe me.

Look for projects you’re interested to. For example, if you likes cars or vehicles, take a look at VLB. Or if you’re interested to gaming platforms, try reading about projects like Xenio. Or if you’re fond of gambling online, there are projects that are dedicated to it such as HERO. There are many projects that will soon launch their ICO, but I suggest you choose the ones you’re interested to, and read. If they got potential, invest.
That helps but in investing, you've gotta be ready to break away from emotions, in this case, your interests because you're gonna be bias for it. If it helps, take a look at Genie, the one in my sig. It's a Singapore-based lending platform trying to expand their horizons over Asia as a lending and asset exchange.

I sold my ETH for $10,- Just saying to wait longer Crypto is just started.. many project will fail.. some projects going to be huge I sold a huge chunk of my BTCBTCBTC for $1200. At that point I thought that was already the ceiling. So yeah, patience is very rewarding in this space.

Also what is your forecast for a price?
First day of trading IGNIS on exchange maybe will maintain its price by 3$-5$ per IGNIS . HITBTC exchange will be the first to start trading IGNIS that what i think it seems that now has started a lot of interest IGNIS tokens, prices have bounced in just one exchange, but turned with NXT now, whether NXT will be abandoned? Hopefully not, there are a lot of ongoing projects under the nxt platform that I'd like to see pursued still. The devs did commit continuity.

Ripple is also decentralized. I think crypto is still a startup. Als xrp will be huge It's still more of a speculative bubble. Most of the spotlight came in like a few days ago. Ripple has already been here for a few years, with development and achievements yes, even newsworthy, but the value didn't rocket up until today.
|
|
|
Isn't Ripple exactly the opposite of de-centralisation? I believe there is a dump coming eventually.
Most coins are centralized in one way or the other, be it hashpower or nodes. The thing is, Ripple isn't exactly built for everyone. It's a company, a product made to cater to financial institutions. It's a private chain, I won't look at it like some other crypto if I were you.
|
|
|
Anyone believing in decentralization, stop investing in this coin. They have found a good way to steal from all of you. If you are here to get money then go ahead.
Actually most coins are highly centralized in terms of hashpower and/or nodes. Anyway, Ripple is built for corporate purposes, so they've gotta ensure that they'll profit if they'll hope to survive.

It's been proven that alts with a solid dev team behind will prosper and succeed. Just look at ETH and Dash. I knew Dash very well even when it was still Darkcoin and the dev was real solid. So those probably would be the best investments. In ICOs, those that already has a solid and working platform are the good ones, like CrowdGenie for example.

this was my first ICO i participated in, and was baptised into the crypto world. Since then I have gone on to make about 60X my ARTE investment on real projects. This project is so pathetic it is almost hysterical. I actually laugh when I look back that I invested in it. Maybe in 2 years I will look back and ARTE will be worth something.
Everyone who is in the crypto community should burn in one of the icos. It is a good lesson for inspect good and spend wisely. I burned back in day too Got a whole share of the burning experience way back too. There weren't even ICOs back then, alts were the craze. Good thing the whole airdrop to the community tactic came around, I recovered all of my losses and profited from those coins that were given away. Anyway, we gotta move on from this dead thing.

Since Bitcoin is damn too high and might crash soon. Instead I invested in Cardano and IOTA because their price is still below 5usd. Imagine what if Bitcoin exploded its bubble and people started to shift technology , leave blockchain and go to IOTA and Cardano. Hey guys, im trading now for a few months, sometimes with good results, sometimes not For the rising charts of BTC and altcoins it is not difficult to let your portfolio be more worth from one month to the next, but that is not what i am looking for. My aim is to become more BTC every month, from 1.0 to 1.1 or 1.2 every month. And my question is: _ if you are trading on an exchange, and you think BTC is on a high position, you decide to sell and buy back after the dump you are expecting: DO YOU sell your BTC for $ or for another coin on the exchange??? Basically this is the best thing to do. Spread your assets, spread the risk. IMO over the years in this space, long term gains by holding is always better than short term gains from trading. Believe me.

It is so sad that you can't short anything in crypto. Shorting nxt on 28th would make a great profit.
It may even come back to 800-900 sats, where it used to be before ignis thing.
Will it be that bad? That's like more than 10 times of the current price but yeah If we could short anything in crypto, NXT would be the best thing to short after the snapshot. However i don't think NXT is that bad, just that their opponent like Waves/ETH has better blockchain/platform Actually when ETH came by I thought that if NXT wouldn't upgrade soon they'd be dead. Yet here we are, NXT still has significant capitalization and is still kickin. Hopefully this new update would bring NXT back in the spotlight.
