621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: July 30, 2021, 06:37:32 AM
It must be a bullish investment. There are now many signs that Bitcoin will rise, because we all trust Bitcoin now, judging by what is happening now. Even if there are "rumors", it will not affect Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still developing slowly, so we must stick to our original aspirations and don't sell our Bitcoins because of market panic.
I agree that we shouldn't sell because of rumors that induce panics for some, I think that what we should do is to buy when the panic sets and the prices gets too low to the point that when the prices go back up, you will be able to make a really good profit out of it.
622  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: July 30, 2021, 06:02:20 AM
It is very difficult to predict the direction of bitcoin. What we have experienced this year is a good signal, that ATH is currently set at a high. And we're at $39k, assuming 29k is the low, we're in the midpoint zone, which looks like a sideways move. But we have optimism, as major catalysts are supporting the crypto space. I believe we can go up.
I think that it's more than just a good direction because I feel like it has reached new heights already and I think bitcoin can't go down anytime soon like how it have gone down in 2018, there's just a lot of factors that are preventing that from happening, institutional investors and more people getting into crypto as an example.
623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you agree with Binance's behavior? on: July 30, 2021, 05:26:52 AM
Definitely, this has something to do with those NFT crypto games which make you buy BNB coin to transfer in metamask wallet and convert it into some of their coins to enable them to play. Most of those NFT also use Binance exchange and BNB. As the trend for those games recently hit the market, probably the reason why it spike suddenly like that.
Is there anything wrong with that I mean that's the only way you can buy those NFT to play the play to earn feature of those games so I don't see where you're getting at because it's not inherently a bad thing although if there really is a manipulation then what can we do? Boycott them? What we have to be doing is being vigilant at all times on the signs of a market manipulation.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: July 29, 2021, 02:13:55 PM
Agree, i think we're still not to late to join the party. There still a big chance for us who think already miss the train but the reality we're not late. I don't want to do a same mistake like 2018 when i sell all of my crypto investment, right now no matter how drop the price it is, i'm not gonna sale #hold
It depends on your risk tolerance though, if you have a really low risk tolerance then there's a possibility that you won't profit a lot of money even if the prices go up because you will easily panic on a small drop which ends up with loss and inf lucky, some breakevens.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China takeover Bitcoin network? on: July 29, 2021, 01:40:50 PM
How can China takeover Bitcoin network? First China is not the owner or creator of bitcoin. Although the large numbers of miners came from China but now it was drastically reducing. Also there is a news that China are banning bitcoin. I can't imagine how can China think about bitcoin network to be their own. Not only do they claim the territory of other countries as well as the bitcoin network they also want to claim.
Probably what OP meant was the mining, which they really can do if they want to but given that they have finally banned bitcoin already means that they have already banned bitcoin mining in their country, I don't think that there's a possibility of takeover in the near future.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: July 29, 2021, 01:03:36 PM
That's definitely a good point.
A movie about Bitcoin will help people understanding what crypto is and how was it created.
Do promote its good sides, and don't associate it with crime or dark web whenever the name of Bitcoin comes up.
How do we exactly make it interesting though, with bitcoin being the center of the story, plus it has to compete with the biggest movie franchises if it's going to be released plus it's a difficult to do an advertising, I get the point that it's for more people to learn about bitcoin but we have to make it interesting.
627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 29, 2021, 11:54:33 AM
As long as you don't meddle with the decision, it's alright to recommend your friend to buy bitcoin. Given that the prices are going up right now you have to be prepared to be blamed for when the prices go down while your friend is still hodling and have bought at a higher price.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 29, 2021, 11:16:29 AM
~~~
especially for rich people $1k money is like nothing compared to poor people, of course that amount of money means a lot to them. therefore rich people will certainly have greater speculation. on the other hand with all the needs that have been met, then they will be easier to hold in the long term
Exactly what I was saying, what we saw as treasure and grand in terms of money is just a chump change for these people. Well, even if they have the advantage, it's not like people of medium income and low income won't be able to hodl, they can but the only problem is that their portfolio is significantly smaller than a rich person.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: First U.S. Bitcoin mutual fund launched by ProFunds on: July 29, 2021, 10:41:09 AM
I totally disagree with them saying it's not an ETF, they said it's something really close. But I do admire the way they packaged it to help it pass through the bureaucratic machine that is the government.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin doesn't care about Tesla and Amazon on: July 29, 2021, 10:01:13 AM
~~~

After the recent price rally any major company has Bitcoin on their radar. They might not yet be part of the crypto market yet but they definitely are evaluating their options. If there is a chance to make money of it that more big institutions are going to enter the market. For now Amazon doesn't want to be part of it, so the hype was over in a day. It remains top be seen if the price will go down to 30,000 USD again or remain around 40,000 USD. The influence of Amazon and Tesla should be getting smaller with more and more other player entering the market.
What's taking them so long getting into the market then, I think they're planning something that will make it favorable to them. I don't think that Tesla and Amazon's influence would dwindle even if there's more people getting in the market, Elon has millions of Twitter followers and they do their best to have him on the headline, Amazon on the other is already a staple in many households so I disagree with you on that part.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: New Jersey Pension Invested $7M in Bitcoin Mining on: July 29, 2021, 09:28:02 AM
Looks like they saw a vision of BTC in the future, but the sizable investment seems like they are taking a risk and continuing to use the mining that pollutes the environment for us, there needs to be some how to replace BTC mined in this kind of pollution model.
It's not as risky as many think because pension is a long-term investment so using the fund for bitcoin mining is pretty much a useful thing to do because you basically help in moving the money and at the same time growing the money in the process since bitcoin is an appreciating asset, what they just have to worry is the expenses for the electricity that they're going to use.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: July 29, 2021, 08:41:55 AM
Of course, the countries that will develop rapidly after the pandemic are those that have a lot of resources, natural resources, human resources, as well as finances as well as a stable political situation, but it's rare for a country to have it all, so it's hard to guess which country will recover quickly, maybe China because they dominate many things in this world.
That's not needed for some because we are on computer age and there are possibility that the new programs can be developed by different countries that don't have those things or if there is, the development isn't supported by the government. I think the field of medicine is going to be developed too because given how it's difficult for us to work on pandemic, new things will be developed to contain another in the future.
633  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin doesn't care about Tesla and Amazon on: July 29, 2021, 08:14:46 AM
Even if bitcoin doesn't mean care about these big companies, the companies care about bitcoin, specifically their interest in it so they have to try and make money out of it given that they know that they can make millions if not billions in a short time span. Of course bitcoin doesn't care, it's a decentralized platform after all but that doesn't mean that it's susceptible to manipulation.
634  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino top news on: July 28, 2021, 12:41:02 PM
I don't know if everyone is going to settle for that, afaik most faucets only pay a little amount so I don't think that we will see people getting interested in these faucets. Plus, it makes people dependent on faucet which takes up a lot of their time which could've been used to find other ways to make money or earn crypto that's much better than faucets.
635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moonbet - Become the Owner of a Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: July 28, 2021, 12:07:57 PM
50% is really high in my opinion for a reward for hodling your token, it's kind of suspicious to me, but I could just be a dumbass and it's just a normal rate. But hey, welcome to the forum. Is it like staking in a gambling platform?
636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: July 28, 2021, 11:25:43 AM
2$-3$ is very small profit and i strongly believe that even a new user will not agree to stop the trade with only 2$ profit. Good news like new listing,new partnership,mainnet launch,Hard forke , these are some news which can increase the orice of token from 20% to 100% easily. 10% i think is minimum investor want profit.
Depends though, what if it's the last leg of the run and the incoming graph is steadily going down? I would probably go down and take that profit and just go back in the market when it's on the most absolute or assumed absolute bottom. But if it's not the case that I am talking about, then you are right that we shouldn't take that profit since it's not that much.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Speculators have a lot of "enemies", many of which come from themselves on: July 28, 2021, 10:43:45 AM
The only way to fight those enemies that you're talking about is probably just be yourself and embrace them. Don't fight them because they only get worse, befriend and slowly discipline yourself and in time this enemies will slowly disappear.
638  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Autocash.live Ponzi Project on: July 28, 2021, 09:56:34 AM
Done my part reporting the website, hopefully no one has fallen for this Ponzi schem because that just means that the scammers takes the win which ends up with them already alright abandoning the project and at the same time they can start another scheme on a different name.
639  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin Mining Scam on: July 28, 2021, 09:21:54 AM
~~~
People need to be warned as much as possible about scams to prevent them from becoming victims of scams. Scammers try to scam people in various ways, who know what the consequences of depositing on these websites can be to protect themselves from being scam victims. But there are some greedy people who are easily attracted to any tempting offer. So as much as these scams can be exopse, people can be kept safe from scammers.
Given how long crypto has been in the space even the Internet as we know it, I think people should know by now the different kind of basic scams that they can encounter when they are browsing or perusing the Internet. I don't really worry too much about greedy people because I know that my word will only be disregarded, those kind of people learn from first hand experience.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: July 28, 2021, 08:50:32 AM
I don't think that blockchain technology will completely wipe out banks. Banks will find a way to adapt to it, or at least create other aspects to continue to exist. Blockchain and traditional banking will coexist, and everything will become a fact of survival of the fittest at some point.
Traditional banks have cash, and blockchain is cryptocurrency. If they want to replace these banks, then this also means always using cryptocurrency instead of cash, which is almost impossible.
Not wipeout but replace although, I don't think that I am going to say that it can replace because it works in counter with banks, blockchain eliminates the middle man and banks in a sense are a middle man to any kind of transaction, so I don't think that they will probably allow blockchain to be the dominant one.
