681  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: January 01, 2024, 01:22:53 PM
Did someone have used them already? I think that I'll have my time to try it out within the next few days. Is this an instant thing that I'll receive back the tip after sending the tip to you poorbot?
I used it earlier, and it's almost instant. After I sent the tip to poorbot, it took 5-10 seconds before the site recognized my tip, and once it went through, I quickly received my freshly converted coins through poorbot's tip.

It's great that no account is needed and your coins will be tipped back if you fail to exchange them.
Nice, thank you for sharing your experience mate. That is good to hear that it is just going to take a few seconds and it is an instant thing that will be sent back with the tip. After I receive my payment, maybe I will take a few bucks to try it for experiencing as well.

It was because when I have withdrawn, I am  not just so sure if the fee of the network have deducted it to my withdrawn amount since the network fees have been so crazy these times. So if the fees of the tipping swap won'y cost a lot, this is a good help for everyone that is looking to save fees for withdrawal or just simply want to gamble with other cryptos with their stake accounts.

Hi, tipping feature on Stake currently is not subject to any KYC procedures as far as I know. Deposits and withdrawals could be though, when deemed necessary by Stake.
That's right, it's not subject to KYC but what's subjected to it is when you're going to deposit and that's being asked on me. I think that poorbot has got a lot of balance on his account and it's actually a good situation that he's doing this service for those that wants to have a swap inside the platform itself. Soon, I guess that you'll have other services as well to the other casinos. Do you mind to tell what are the other casinos do you have on your plans in adding poorbot? Or do you have plans already or no this 2024?
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 31, 2023, 10:17:57 PM
Even if we do speak about playing just that for fun but it would really be just that normal that we are aiming for making money or win.
We used to say this and that's why we just want to have fun and let it happen what has to happen. Most of us don't want to lose but we acknowledge losing because that's always part of gambling. Whether we will be having a good day and have that much profits, somewhere in the next days it's acceptable that we're just going to lose then.

As part of gambling, we want to win but we just don't want to lose without taking anything. With that, we just tend to think of it as we're having fun and any amount that we're losing is basically just going to go be like an entertainment fund so you choose what makes you happy and what makes you survive when you're having a bad day and losing streaks.

Feeling will really be reflecting out basing on the condition that we are really that facing on,whether it would be that negative or positive.
And that's why choose always to be happy because it's not that easy to be like one but we can control our emotions despite of the ugly situation and don't let the situation control you but, you have to control the situation for your own sake.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: December 31, 2023, 09:13:16 PM
IF you want safety by just being at home then obviously you have to choose doing it online. There is no need for you to interact with other people and you're all set to gamble at anytime as you wish. While gambling offline is also safe in terms of that physically because there are the guards and the staff that will cater your needs and all you have to do is to gamble and your money on them.

It is a tie actually when people think both are safe in many terms that you can think of. And it all depends to the preference that you have and if it's like that you just want to gamble peacefully, then go to your PC, couch or balcony and then you're good to go and gamble online. But if you want it the other way then that's how the other option will be. Anyway, whatever is the choice that you are making, all it takes is a few wins and a lot of losses.
685  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: December 31, 2023, 08:31:55 AM
Dependable? if you're a person that just wants assurance then it is for sure that you should have real estate investments. It's going to stay for long and it's a traditional asset that will be suggested by your mom and dad. But the world is changing, you have accepted that nothing is going to beat real estate for the investors that don't have an idea about Bitcoin/crypto. I'd say that I've proven that crypto is here to stay and made profit from it and it's one dependable asset or investment that you can have as long as you know what you're doing.

I think that it's the same with real estate, you can also have mistakes and there can be a bubble from there and once it's popped, you're going to be badly affected by it. If you're for the most traditional assets then you shouldn't just choose real estate because there are the precious metals, bonds and all the other investments that are low risk than crypto.
686  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How is an ordinary person's week going in your country? on: December 30, 2023, 02:46:40 PM
I have always been interested in the way of life of residents of other countries. I'm an ordinary guy from Russia, I work as a finance director for an oilfield services company. We have a vacation 28 days a year. 7 holidays per year.
My day usually starts with the fact that I wake up 1.5 hours before work, drink coffee, shave, do a nice hairstyle, wash up. After all this, I call a taxi and go to work. Work in our country is 8 hours and 1 hour for lunch, a total of 9 hours, but in our country, you usually eat in 15 minutes, and the rest of the time you work. After work, I sit and watch movies, TV series with my wife, or play PlayStation with friends online. On weekends, I usually get enough sleep, and my wife and I go for a walk, go to some restaurant, used to go hiking, but now we live where there are no places where you can go hiking.

And how is life in your country? If possible, write down your week

I apologize for the broken English
Well, not that unusual and I think your life is kinda chill. My usual weekend is too hectic honestly, since having a week that's mostly having a job and side lines. During the weekends, I also do the same as you, playing games, getting that much sleep and malling sometimes. This usually happens on a Saturday but during Sundays, it's like one of the days that I just need to take my time and don't have much thing to do so I stay.

IMO, your life there and with us and the other countries, there's not that much difference at all. We work 8+1 hours everyday and sometimes 6 days a week for the other countries but typically it should only be 5 days a week. With all of those breaks, paid vacations, paid leaves and holidays. The mere difference I think is the lifestyle of each of us and the cost of living.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: December 30, 2023, 11:17:37 AM
For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.
I think those that have a lot of altcoins that they've earned from campaigns and bounties, if it has a value that they can sell it quickly, they'd definitely do it without any doubt. But if it's seen that there's no value at all, they don't anything with it but just keep on holding it until they see that there's a growth or a value. They're lucky to see it having $50 - $100 and even luckier if it's going to be more than that. That's why if there's a value and liquidity on exchanges with those tokens or altcoins, they're all quicker than anyone else to dump it.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
Most of them are becoming valueless because the developers understand how it works. That's why they are giving like a threshold on how long they're going to hold or lock the tokens from the bounties that are distributed and they're allowing first the devs and main investors to do the liquidity for them. They're releasing it first with those people and they give priority to them because they should be the one to make money not the bounty hunters. And what's next is the little amounts and market liqudity is left to the receivers of the rewards from the bounty.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: December 29, 2023, 11:09:27 PM
Those programs are needed by the gamblers that can't stop themselves and what they need to do is to make sure that they're not taking advantage of the situation of these gamblers that have no control over themselves anymore. That's why self exclusion and even if there are government bodies that are also stepping in on this issue. I think that's a good and fair program to them to see how hands on they are with the gamblers that are losing their control.

The responsibility of these establishments and even the governments are not ending. While they do their part, the gamblers also need to do their part for them to keep on helping themselves while they are getting some help on how to move forward and start a new life if they've been coming from a very hard situation of being addicted gambler. Because that's not going to do them any good if they can't help themselves as well. So aside from the responsible gambling, they also need to discipline themselves.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 07:33:23 PM
Gambling whether you play it online or offline is a mental game there are a lot of mixed emotions going on while you play
Excited when you're winning, anxious when you're chasing your losses, ecstatic when you won a big amount but have anxiety about cashing out.

It's a roller coaster ride when we are playing in casinos whether online or offline that is why we always come back to gamble because we feel alive and we have mixed emotions.

But after finishing the game what's your overall feeling how did you overcome this feeling and how many hours or days did it last?

Be honest with yourself and vote on the poll on What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling?
No choice for being meh? Yeah, that's usually my feeling after gambling. If I win, it is satisfying but if not then it's just the typical feeling of being meh. Like having a frown face, I am not sad nor disappointed but sort of like that but that's how it goes with gambling, right? We can't always win and we mostly lose at most times. Those who are still frustrated when they're losing, if you don't gamble, you'll never be frustrated. But that's how it goes and that's what you need to understand when you do it.

And even when we lose we did enjoy gambling as we stayed for how many hours, that's still fun and satisfying, right? It's like your payment to the entire enjoyment that you have experienced so there is nothing to be regretting at all. You just have to play out with your mind and think of what's essential for you because that's not going to give you any satisfaction when you think of the negativities since your money is already gone away.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 29, 2023, 06:44:37 PM
Questions like this has popped out in several occasions and arguments concerning Bitcoin investment. My friends will say you must lose before you gain or rather have more experience investing in Bitcoin. If its how it work, Bitcoin isn't for a low income earner as well as not gonna make you rich when you can't invest something tangible to it. On the other hand people are been made big and wealthy in same program. What does it in tell, cos am quite sure people had already known what's going to happen in the market in the nearest future to give them the strong mindset to invest porously.
It is not about a person who's a low income earner or a big earner. It's about understanding the entirety of Bitcoin about it being a very volatile asset. If you have understand that then obviously, you're aware that there are some thoughts that you'll get to see along your investing here that it's not always going up. There will be times that the market is going to be lower than you are expecting but at times, you'd see it moving up a lot.

My biggest fear is losing my hard earn to something as volatile, vulnerable and uncertain as btc.
Then invest somewhere else which don't have a lot of volatility unlike Bitcoin. How about go with gold, real estate or any of those typical assets that are tangible and you have no worry that they are not going to show random volatility as you buy them. Bitcoin isn't for the fainted heart so if you've got one then you better step out or keep on learning.

What's the possibility you invest without losing. Is it guaranteed in this kinda market?
Let's say it in general that there's no investment that will guarantee you profit. If there's one, then it's likely a scam.
691  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you see young girls who engage into prostitution on: December 29, 2023, 11:19:13 AM
Sadly it happens that someone will do anything in favor just to get those possessions that they like. I think one big influence is about the shits that are all over the social media. This era and generation are totally out of their minds where they are glorifying someone's body count and making it like a trophy for people to show. I'm not sure if I'll be glad or not that I was born into a different generation that has a better understanding of issues in society.

On the other hand, if it's become a profession of someone. You just can't justify any argument towards that person if that's the only livelihood or job that she can ever do. But I believe that everyone has the skills and period to realize that what they do is not for their betterment if it is something like this. Watch the interviews of those people that once worked in the adult industry and we can just connect it with the topic because it's the same thing that they do. Most of them said that they regretted it and they've been wild and carefree during their younger days and if there's one thing that they want to correct, that's their profession that they went in and they'll avoid to choose that.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 29, 2023, 09:50:05 AM
I have read complaints about gamblers not paid for their prizes and jackpots or not paid fully. There are also others who are banned or whose accounts are suspended and their funds locked. I think most, if not all, of these complaints are against casinos and betting sites that are licensed.

Even here in the forum you can read such complaints. There are even scam accusations because of such experiences. But the casinos they are accusing or complaining against are all registered. I doubt that these complaints and accusations are all false. Some of them might be true. So although gambling in registered casinos is the right thing to do, it isn't a guarantee that you will have a perfect experience.
Every licensed casino has its own players who are having problems not just with these prizes but with the policies that are imposed on them. But with all that, there's always a basis as to why it's done on them. I understand the point is that even if a casino is licensed, it does not exempt a gambler not to experiencing a bad thing about them.

Some of them might be true but when a representative responds to them, you get to see that many of these accusers are also abusers. So, it's a case to case basis with the experience but that doesn't mean that the registered casinos are a scam. I think we can all agree that there's a guarantee that a license casino will definitely operate as what's given to them with the licensing because it's part of it having a business. But with the various experiences and complaints, they have no control about the users that are also abusers. And with the legitimate ones, they have control over it and can respond with genuinity and a reply of help for their concerns.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 29, 2023, 08:35:55 AM
Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
There is, it's just the fun or happiness that gambling gives to those who are saying it's fun is there. But as an observant, you don't see it from your own perspective because that's not the fun that you are anticipating. But in reality, if you're having fun and you gamble, that is on you and you don't need to wait for someone to tell you that you should have fun. You don't need to get the validation of other people because that's how you should gamble and have fun. So if they are telling us that they're actually having fun, we can't argue with that and that's their feeling and experience.

Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning
That's it, that's the fun that they do and found it through gambling and that's not impressive to you because that's what makes you think that there's no fun at all. But if we're going to take a look and see those actual people that are saying that they do it for fun, you might see the actual fun on their faces or reactions based on how they show it to the other people. Anyway, it's a huge argument about people that don't see gambling as fun and profitable, this is like a debate that's always going to show.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 28, 2023, 11:40:47 PM
So, the question is simple, in your gambling activities all through 2023, how much your biggest win?

And in loses as well, how much was your biggest loss?

Is it possible for you to calculate your cumulative wins and losses, and tell if 2023 was profitable or not; to you in terms of gambling?

Lets discuss..
Not for me because I've transferred from one casino to another one and another one again. I don't know how much I have accumulated in gambling by the wins and losses that I've made. But it is not a lot to be honest because I am a controlled gambler and I don't dig a lot with my budget whenever I have. I can say that I am still on a better situation even with not that a lot of wins but also simply don't have that much losses as well.

Or that's actually a win for me that I am still in my sane as I gamble and I know what actually is happening. I don't want to sound that I am a saint but that's what really it is. So for those that have a lot of losses, I think it should start with your mindsetting and change that if it's not helping you a lot this year. Next year is another going to be a long year for you to start making your own paths in gambling whether you're a compulsive or controlled one. What you must do is to protect yourselves from spending a lot that you can't afford to lose.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 28, 2023, 10:38:10 PM
That's right. Marlon Tapales lacks the firepower which is the truth even when he is up against Murodjon Akhmadaliev. He ain't the type to knockdown a boxer which is why he is trying to end it in technical style. Well, he ain't Manny Pacquiao or The Flash Nonito Donaire who have that punching power to knock their opponents out but I believe he will come back stronger.
They have their own strategies inside the ring and I still think that Tapales is a good one after receiving all of those hooks that are like bombs. He's still managed to stand long for 10 rounds. That's already a long round but it would give him more applaud if he'll be able to finish all of the rounds and it will have a unanimous decision

That's a good new if Inoue would really think of fighting outside Japan. I believe Nery is also a decent opponent, was once a champion and I believe he is better than Tapales. Time for Inoue to bring a championship fight in Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, "am i right?".
I don't think that Inoue will agree to fight outside Japan. He's the champion and he's the one to dictate where he wants to fight but if he's okay with that then that's going to give him more credibility. What I am saying, many fans will look up higher on him if he allows his next fight to happen outside his country. Going away from home and you'll have to defend your title, that's something else and not all boxers are like him because they just give the demand of the fans or wherever they are confident to defend their belts.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 28, 2023, 10:12:38 PM
If a gambler is young, it won't be a problem sitting more than 7 hours straight but with food and water.  Grin
But as we grow older, the older the gambler is, the less time that we can spend in gambling in a straight sitting. For me, I couldn't do that any longer time like 2-3 hours anymore, and note that it's not going to be a straight sit. I'll have to take breaks because my eyes can easily get irritated if I am gambling online. I think that I'll be more exhausted if I do it at a physical casino, why? Because of the ambiance and noise and the people go left and right that are confusing my attention.

That's why the younger that we are, for sure that it is not going to be a problem that we can sit for straight hours gambling and you'll still be fine aftewards except that you are in a losing streak. And that's the problem of most young gamblers, they don't have much money at all and that's why as they grow old, that's the time that they can do anything they want and like us we can have some allocation and budget on gambling but the time that we can spend is no longer the same unlike when we are younger for which time is not a problem at all and less stressful.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 08:36:40 PM
Is it possible one can dodge KYC verification request after winning a big amount of money and decides not to withdraw a lump sum but bit by bit in smaller amounts.
It will be noticed by the system of that casino where you have won a big amount. If it's possible that you're able to withdraw in bits then you're good to go but do not be surprised if they suddenly ask you to comply with a KYC and complete it for your withdrawal to proceed. Because that's what usually comes next when you're going to withdraw such amounts from these casinos. So, just prepare yourself for it since the backlogs from your account will be seen by the admins there and if there's something that triggers the alarm then you'll be asked and stopped.

I have read many posts talking about how they wanted to withdraw the money they won but due to the amount they wanted to withdraw was big, they were asked  pass kyc verification because they never did when they first registered.
There's always the rule about the casinos that they can ask you anytime if they want to or if there are some suspicious transactions or activities found on your account. It's always included on the TOS but we don't read it and we just moving on with the registration and then will be reminded afterwards when we're on that situation. And that's why everyone is aware of these policies made by the casinos whenever you're going to win big amount or even if you just deposit huge amount all of a sudden. It is going to alarm them why someone who doesn't deposit huge amount started to deposit, it's due to AML/KYC procedures and policies.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 28, 2023, 07:24:12 PM
Happy Christmas to all gamblers. I have been reading some threads and comments that many people have been saying that they find it very difficult to stop gambling (not only gambling addicts), but on one hand, I really think that it is not hard to quit gambling even when you are winning and not winning, but it is you who can't control yourself. Bets can not force one to stake, but a gambler can force themselves to stake a bet, even when he or she does not have money to bet.
It doesn't matter whether you are winning or not. And if you're saying that it's not hard to win in your best shape, no one's going to quit when he's winning. We have to remember that when you're at the best moments of your life and you're winning, you just don't want to see it stop and that's why no gambler is thinking that he should quit by that time when he's got all of the money that he's winning. We as gamblers are the ones responsible for our actions and whether we continue or not, it is our own will that will be forcing us to do it.

Some gamblers did not learn how to gamble. They just see themselves doing it, but they can't stop it. Why because they can't control themselves, even when they are not an addicted gambler?
What do we have to say about this?
How can a gambler do gambling when he didn't learn it in the first place? It is quite confusing but it seems that you see it as a willful action that we do. As you are saying these people can't control themselves and are dependent on their own course of action. They are not yet addicted but the time shall come that they will because of how they're not able to control it. When someone is experiencing out of control, you can say that they're about to get addicted and no one is able to help themselves but only them. And of course, no one's gonna stop them from betting but only themselves.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 27, 2023, 11:35:49 PM
There are gamblers who are real gamblers and are aiming to make money while doing it. But there are also gamblers that can be said to be recreational gamblers and they are doing it mostly just to have fun. With that, there's no need for any argument whether someone gambles for money or for fun. IMO, let them do what they wanna do because we're all in it for the reasons that are valuable to us.

We can be actual gamblers and are on it for the money and when we lose, we can have some adjustment and just say that we're just looking for some fun.  Grin
Actually, it doesn't matter right? Because what matters here is that you are not gambling with others money and it is your money that you are gambling with. Because if you're for the both or either and you're gambling not with your own money then that's where the argument starts and the reminders about on how we should be able to be good gamblers regardless of the reason we do. We should only gamble what we own, and we should lose what we own, and gain what we own.

Where are the Ame fans here? Your boy is back in the professional scene together with the Azure Ray roster but they won't be playing for the same team. They're going to play for the Xtreme Gaming team and this is one of the strong teams that we can see in their region currently. While the former Azure Ray lineup is left with the two players, Lou(1) and Jiang(5) in their respective positions there. And what's sad about Azure Ray is that their EPT points are gone. Despite winning the championship in the ESL Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with 4,800 EPT points, based on its rule then those EPT points are totally wiped out and gone. It's not surprising that the Azure Ray team owner or manager has allowed that to happen since he owns both teams. I thought that this type of rule has been gone before like having two owned teams per tournament but I guess running two teams is allowed as long as they won't participate the same tournament. For easier vieweing, here is the new roster of Xtreme Gaming that everyone is optimistic with.

  • Ame
  • Xm
  • Xxs
