741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 12, 2023, 01:16:48 PM
Yes, Nonito is more technical than Pacquaio and probably the reason why he is can fight up to this point. Not that badly damage as compare to Manny wherein he has go to a lot of wars around 126-135 against some of the great boxers during that era. And then at 140-147, fighting bigger guys.

Not really that technical, though Donaire has also suffered devastating knockouts in his career. It's Pacquiao who is truly more technical in the ring. Although he may be perceived as a brawler, his exceptional ring IQ is highly evident in most of his fights, allowing him to dominate his opponents.

Both fighters are indeed technically skilled, but they operate at different levels. While Donaire has achieved success in his career, he cannot be compared to Manny Pacquiao, who has already left an indelible mark in boxing history. This concludes the discussion on their respective abilities and achievements. Smiley

Anyway, going back to the topic, there's only 4 days before this fight will commence, have you place your bets already?

More betting are already available now.

742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: July 10, 2023, 02:31:37 PM
I will stop playing if the government will stop all online casinos and gambling sites. But as it was still available, even though the government ban Bitcoin this will never affect gamblers. They might ban Bitcoin but not ban crypto, so we can use ETH or any altcoins as long as it was acceptable. Gamblers still have the option and as I said, once gambling sites are open, people will still gamble. And besides, the government is also benefiting from these casinos as they collect some fees and taxes.
743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 10, 2023, 02:05:28 PM
Before starting any job, one should know about the job well. It must be viewed with caution while engaging in trading or investing. Financial markets are simply unpredictable and risk is present at every turn. Before investing you must educate yourself and do thorough research to understand the potential risks and then invest. I think it is natural that there is always risk in trading.
Indeed, it was necessary to have the full knowledge into something that we have to work with most especially in trading due to it is not just a simple task to be done. We can't underestimate the market as it moves unpredictably making us lose if we are not careful. Act with caution - that was really the best thing to do otherwise, we can be like those people who suffered big losses because of making wrong decisions.

But, it was not just we need knowledge, we also need to control our emotions and manage to be more patient as this is very important in a trading job.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 10, 2023, 11:01:28 AM
But it seems that people still don't care about that because many people still try to make money from gambling and even try to use gambling as their main income. They should be aware of this and look elsewhere to make money because that will give them a better chance of making money.

People often learn from their mistakes, and when it comes to gambling, some may try to see if they can make money from it. However, it's important to note that gambling should not be relied upon as a consistent source of income. Relying solely on gambling for income would mean leaving a stable job for something uncertain.

The chance of doing that is really something unusual if you're still thinking the right way. I mean, for leaving your job in exchange for taking gambling as the main source of your income, we all know that the uncertainty of the gambling place or the outcome can't be as accurate as we can think of, unless you will serve as the casino itself, or you'll be making your company have a wide reach and use that influence to make more referrals.

Things that I personally think you can do if you choose gambling as a major venue for your income-generating sources
As a player/gambler - it was not an income-generating resource. But if you are the owner and stop your day job just for the sake of running a gambling business, that was a good choice. Indeed, it was a big mistake from relying on our future for luck and we use our hard-earned money thinking that we can double it. We can't go into falling influencers encouraging us to gamble and earn more because the truth is that the more we gamble, the more lose. In this case, there is enjoyment happen but we are now chasing our losses.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: July 10, 2023, 08:21:52 AM
The US government and the cryptocurrency market are having a lot of ups and downs, and it seems like they're headed towards a very important conflict. This conflict will determine the fate of many people and companies involved in cryptocurrency. They might have to shut down or move to a different country.
Cryptocurrency is a big threat to some government budgets, they out rule the regulations and functions of Cryptocurrency for reasons best known to them. How would a government imposed strict rules on Cryptocurrency simply because it's citizens are acquainted with the entire crypto space and they're making cool money from it. The US government, and other countries prohibits Cryptocurrency, the whole idea is just terrible, for those working from the comfort of their home just been online, Wil starts finding difficulties in their perspective areas
Truth be told for crypto to go full adoption, it must be properly regulated by the government, this will help the ecosystem to be safe and secure, If there is no regulation, people will suffer the consequences and government have rights to protect their citizens, but what i don't like is the approach they are using in fight the industries, a responsible government that cares for their citizens will dialogue and find a lasting solution and provide a clear guideline crypto should follow, I believe we will get to that point some day.
Without their support, people remain doubtful and have less adoption. Indeed, we need regulations and rule to follow as this will minimize scam and fraud but some people don't understand it instead, they're thinking that the Government is an enemy and against crypto existence. There is a good reason why they implementing this but we can't also ignore the possibility that some government officials will take advantage of the situation and impose huge taxes which is also a reason why some investors do want their participation.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: July 09, 2023, 09:56:14 PM
The bounty time almost death now so if bull market will coming then we can received lot of good bounty!
There are no good bountys available to earn money right now. So what's your target? When we will received good bounty?
Okay, let me tell you that it was hard to see good bounties anymore. Sadly, it was noticed that bounties these days are mostly scams, maybe some are not but it was very unfortunate that you can't sell your rewards because it was not yet listed on any exchanges. These are the reason why hunters had stop from joining and promoting them as they are spending time and effort but got nothing in the end.
Yes, it wasn't like before that many hunters become rich through this but now, it was only disappointments and frustrations.
747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 09, 2023, 04:16:52 PM
I'm curious about the recent pump in Bitcoin's price. What are your thoughts on the factors that contributed to this surge? Do you believe it was primarily driven by positive news, investor speculation, increased mainstream awareness, or a combination of these factors? How do you think this pump will impact the overall cryptocurrency market? Looking forward to hearing your insights and opinions!"
Whenever bitcoin makes an increase in its USD value it means the demand for Bitcoin has boosted as that has reacted in the price so since Bitcoin is not like all those shitcoins/altcoins it then means using the term pump in your attempt to define the recent price increase in bitcoin is wrong so in an attempt to uncover the reason behind the recent price increase for Bitcoin I stumbled on a couple of reasons but then we have to know that Bitcoin as a volatile asset, does not rely on a particular event of news to make a price rise since it price depends only on the demand.
And whatever the reason is, this is really how the market looks like - it dumps and it pumps.
Of course, there will be reason but I don't think we need to find it instead, let it happen. Let us also accept the truth that Bitcoin will pump after the bear season and the rise is somewhat expected this time and in the coming days. We're getting close to halving and the next is projected to be a bullish season. With the rise that we see these days, it was just an indication that the market is active and it goes along the same thing that we experience in the past.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: July 09, 2023, 01:43:48 PM
It was not really important but have to think that the crypto space is boring when we are just talking and focusing on Bitcoin alone. Because of the existence of altcoins, the more it attracts investors and hype the market, and we have the option to take. In fact, not all altcoins are worthless so people are buying them because it was also considered as a good investment aside from Bitcoin. That is why I'd stop thinking that altcoins are nothing because they also contribute something to the crypto space and even make traders and investors become profitable.
749  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge One Million Dice Bets with Profit every week. on: July 09, 2023, 12:38:46 PM
Okay, just keep on trying because what we need is for you to show us the result of your strategies.
I can't say it never works exactly but thinking that you are gambling, you're not in control of the situation, and most likely, you will fail. That is why we can't assume that we gain a profit weekly in gambling but if we talk about trading, maybe people will believe it.

But anyways, that was your plan, and I expect changes in the coming days as your goal is not achievable.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 09, 2023, 11:23:52 AM
"Bangko" indeed. Sad to note but I think the coach of the Magic has not seen the right time to let Kai play this is only one game, maybe in the next game they can give Kai some minutes but for us hoping that he will be signed by the Magic should taper our expectation as that possibility is very slim.
I've seen a lot of memes regarding the 'expectation vs. reality' situation. Fans were excited and expecting to see Kai play, but he wasn't even given any minutes. However, I read some comments explaining that it's the style of the summer league for the coach to manage minutes well, ensuring everyone gets the right exposure. So let's hope Kai will get more minutes in the succeeding games.

Back to the PBA,

Batang Pier ML @2.16 vs Dyip
Magnolia -12.5 @1.86 vs SMB Beermen

^^ That's my bet, i'm backing Magnolia for now as i think that they showed no mercy on their past opponents so against their sister team, i don't that their will be "sagip kapamilya" here as this is just a show of force, no bearing at all.

I like how confident you are with that Magnolia -12.5 bet, because a typical gambler would go for SMB + handicap or even moneyline.
751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall or rise? $30400 the recent price on: July 08, 2023, 08:12:23 PM
We should expect more of this fluctuations this period as we are coming across the halving gradually, now that we are inbetween $30,000 and $31,000 indicates that there's likely possibilities to break resistance and hit more high to about $40,000 soon while amidst this will be high volatility on both rise and fall, Which can also mean that there's much expectations that we can arrived $60,000 before the end of this year as well as part of the preparation for the next bullrun for a new all time high against next year.
But you also need to be careful of market price reversals. We won't know when the price will reverse when FUD starts coming. Just need to be vigilant and stick to the strategy you made and make sure to have a backup strategy, it will really help. reaching a price of $40k is already high enough and it will be a strong enough resistance to be broken.
Once it pumps and hyped, dumps come next and FUDs manipulate the market. I was certain that there is price corrections but seeing the current market sentiment, I've been positive that it never be going a worse scenario like dumping back to the $25k level. We're not going back to bearish seasons as the halving near comes but instead, we can expect more on the rise because people believe in the positive impact of halving rather than believing the negative news. To expect $40k, that seems possible (or even more).
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: July 08, 2023, 07:43:18 PM
I’m not sure how bounty hunters are being classified as “investors” for the rewards that they have gained in the campaigns they’ve joined.

Although that they do hold tokens and being patient, it does not mean they are classified as “investors” unless they have used their own personal money to buy tokens and hold.

The only thing that bounty hunters are investing other than time and skills are just for paying gas fees to exchange their earned tokens in CEXs and DEXs.
Both of them have in common and that is both of them are about to hold but in terms of acquiring their coins or tokens are totally different.
That is why they are being called hunters and while the others are investors and it literally has a different meaning. Because Investors had to choose what projects to invest in and spend money on it while hunters just get it with just a little effort and no worry about losing as they are not spending money.  That was clear enough to say that they are different.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2023, 01:47:57 PM

It's just one game, and it has already shown how overrated he is. His poor shooting is very evident, and what will happen when the regular season starts? I think Wemby's season is not going to be easy. So for those who are thinking of betting on him to win the ROY (Rookie of the Year), I guess you have to think twice because thus far, he has not impressed us yet.

Yeah it's just one game, a summer league game, he has a lot of pressure being the greatest prospect next to LeBron and yeah he had a poor shooting night. However, if you look at his game, he actually made an impact both offensively and defensively. He just still needs to adapt to the game of NBA. I won't say he's overrated, because he had shown us his ability is one of a kind for 7 foot guy. I can't wait for the regular season and see if he really lives up to the hype, If he can win the ROTY. But I know he will eventually become better and better. He already have the skill and he only needs to develop, hopefully without a major injury he'll be a future hall of famer.
Agreed, he is not overrated. It's only that the public has extremely high expectations and has been hyped. To be honest, I don't think Wemby will ever be as excellent as Lebron, especially in his early years. However, too much pressure may be beneficial to him because he will be hungry to develop and always offer his best effort, only if he can handle the pressure. Allow him some time. Just look at Giannis and how much better he is today in comparison to his early years.

You can't blame the people. He was the number 1 pick, so it's only natural that people expect him to be the best rookie next season and be highly competitive against the older, star players. The highlights I've seen of him on social media are really impressive, but when I watched his first NBA game, I was disappointed.

We're not blaming him; we're just disappointed because our expectations were not met.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 08, 2023, 01:06:49 PM

For Fulton and Inoue, only two weeks to go before their fight night and since this fight has been through some delays, so yes, we can say that both camps are just having some few touch ups so that they will not overtrain and derail from their intended goals. They wouldn't want that for sure and I know that both of them is excited already and excited to have this fight, finally.

Everyone is excited, I'm sure. This is going to be one of the best fights this year, especially for those of us who have followed Inoue's journey. It may not be as popular as the Crawford vs. Spence and Davis vs. Garcia fights, but the kind of intensity we are looking for in a boxing match is here, thanks to Inoue. I hope Fulton coordinates by giving Inoue what he wants, instead of hitting and running around.
755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not Just Buy BTC? on: July 08, 2023, 12:23:53 PM
Influencers will say everything good in order to convince people to use their platform. Now, if you keep following these people and continue reading what they wrote, it certainly puts into your mind that they are right. Well, of course, Bitcoin is going to believe that will rise and be bullish again in the next few years but something we need to be careful and also analyze what they have said because it can be possibly a trick.

You can buy Bitcoin and hold them but must be sure also that you are using the right wallet where to store your Bitcoin. You can't find safety using an exchange wallet, it would be better to have your keys and password.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: July 07, 2023, 09:55:02 PM
It's not too early to conclude that Litecoin outperforms Bitcoin. Regardless, my view is that Bitcoin remains the leading cryptocurrency, Litecoin's recent resurgence demonstrates its growth potential and relevance in the marketplace and Litecoin's strong community engagement and dedicated development team continue to drive innovation and improvement.. Wink
It was not too early but never had the chance. Because even the price of Litecoin will pump but this is not the reason to say that it was better than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is unique and different from others while Litecoin is just an altcoin, there is a big difference between them. We can say that it will possibly outperform if both of them are playing the same role but they're not. So, we can't compare Litecoin to Bitcoin and besides, there is no valid reason why we should have to do it.
757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 07, 2023, 01:33:35 PM
TNT vs Beermen tonight at 7:30 PM.

There's no spread for this game yet but the moneyline odds for TNT is x20. Looks attractive but knowing their struggle, I think betting on that is just a waste of money. Maybe the spread is around 20+, so I guess I would just stay away from this game, this is very hard to predict.

This game is likely to result in another blowout loss, as SMB is currently leading by 18 points. If the spread was set at -20, it is highly probable that SMB would still be able to cover that spread. So far, TNT has been performing poorly in the PBA on tour exhibition games, consistently finding themselves at a disadvantage in mismatched games.

Well, the game is over, and it's very certain that SMB has covered the spread.

The final score is 111-74. That was a complete blowout, resembling an international game between a top-ranked team and a team at the bottom. SMB showed no mercy here.

And this is what happened in the game.

758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: July 07, 2023, 01:10:51 PM
joyce may be the favourite on their first match, but on this second one, zhang may come up as slight favourite by bookies. but i guess, a lot will still place their bets on joyce for the second bout.
Yes, Zhang is now a slight favorite, as indicated by the odds on https://box.live/boxing-betting/zhang-vs-joyce-ii-odds/. The odds for Zhang to win are (-140), while Joyce is listed at (+100). Let's see what unfolds. Personally, I initially thought Zhang would be the underdog, but with these odds, I might lean towards picking Joyce to win.
He won't be an underdog because he won in their first fight. Although we may say that it's an upset win, the bookies had already adjusted for it since people already believe that Zhang is the real deal. Zhang is not fighting a fighter who has won a championship before, so that further solidifies why he is the favorite now.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Emmanuel Navarette - Aug 12 on: July 06, 2023, 02:09:23 PM
This fight is not going to end via decision; it's going to end by KO, and either boxer could win. I'm excited to see this fight. This is the kind of fight I've been looking for, where both boxers are willing to give their all in the ring. While we haven't seen the fight yet, considering the quality of both boxers, I believe they will fight until the end, which is why I think it's likely to end in a KO.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 04, 2023, 02:05:16 PM
Yes, at that time, the odds are really not in favor of Casimero because his weight is really dragging him down and making him inactive in the industry because of the same problem and just like what happened when he got stripped before he fought Butler, that might happen too if his fight with Inoue have been restored. But that just cannot be as after Covid subsided, another variant hit them again and made the government of Japan to close their borders to all foreign people.
Many events occurred during that time that led to Casimero losing his belt. However, we can still experience the excitement we've been missing in the bantamweight division if Inoue becomes a champion again and Casimero becomes a contender, as they are now in the same super bantamweight division. Let's hope this fight materializes, as it will undoubtedly satisfy the fans who have been eagerly awaiting this highly anticipated matchup.
