Beginners are not entitled to join signature campaigns. So this burst posting is not applicable for beginners in the forum, but maybe what you are trying to say are those that have only started to work on signature campaigns. Of course, burst posting is strictly not allowed, otherwise they will be removed from the campaign, or worst they will get banned from engaging into different campaigns.

And with this trading of merits, its clearly bias. Merits are being earned because you deserve it, not because you exchange merits with other forum members. If you keep on doing it, it's actually not a loss in the forum but its a big loss of yours. You are depriving yourself from creating growth in the forum, earning more merits means that you have positive improvements, not because you sabotage the forum.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 10, 2023, 11:22:53 AM
even when tapales is in his prime years, he'd lose this fight. Inoue is just a different monster, tapales be lucky if he survives 12 rounds but most probably it's going to be Inoue by KO.
I agree with you on that. It's hard to be biased; we're not blind, and we can see how good Inoue is and how powerful his punches are. If we look at how he beats his opponents, it's easy to tell that he always dominates. His opponents are afraid to trade punches in a toe-to-toe fight; they just fight to survive but still end up failing. Their only chance is to prolong the fight, but there's no chance of winning.

betting is still yet open but the odds will probably be Inoue 1.3 vs Tapales 3.4 you have to be a die-hard fan of Tapales to actually bank on him. he is a champ though and by any chance there will be an upset, it's a facepalm to Inoue fans.

No, I guess if the odds of inoue is 1.30, I think I'll take it as it's an easy money.  Grin
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 10, 2023, 11:06:54 AM
Though loss for Bucks. Especially when it was Giannis' career night. He couldn't break his career high record, he was too tired in the last period. Bucks could only score 8 points in last 7 minutes, besides last 3-point which is meaningless. Pacers played the ending better and won. Turner and Mathurin helped Haliburton for this win. Mathurin made a career high with 26 points.
I haven't watched Damian Lillard with Bucks jersey yet but I could imagine how good they would be without injuries. I also liked Pacers tonight but I guess Sixers and Celtics are in better shape than these teams in the East.
54 big points for the big fella, unfortunately it was not enough as the Pacers is very though with Haliburton as their leader specially that dagger 3 that put them up with 1 point and then they played hard defense of Giannis. Also Giannis touch the ball, they are putting a lot of pressure on him, yeah he was really tired putting that huge numbers and then he didn't got any help except for Middleton.
That's a disappointing loss, especially when Giannis made huge buckets to score 54 points, but they ended up losing the game. However, I think it's okay for Giannis. I remember in an interview, he was asked what's more important to him, his personal stats or winning a championship, and he responded that winning a championship is more important. That's why they have a good chance now with Lillard on the team.

They really missed the services of Dame here, it could be a different outcome if he might be in the game. Giannis might not get that 54 points though, but what's important is that they needed a win to keep them at least at the top of East.

And with their lost and Hawks winning, they are tied with them 5-3 apiece.

There was no clear status as to when Lillard will come back, as of now, here's the only information we have.

Watching these YouTuber 'technical analysts' is like witnessing a comedy show. They just scribble lines on a Bitcoin chart and act like they're gazing into a crystal ball. But the reality is, they're about as accurate as a broken clock – right only twice a day. It's laughable how they sell this snake oil, predicting the future with squiggly lines. I wouldn't bet a Satoshi on their so-called insights!
Unfortunately, a lot of naive people still fall on their so-called insights. The reason why these number of youtubers grow even more and continue to share their own technical analysis to those people who easily fall on their traps. For us, we know that everything they say and predicted are all lies and hard  to happen, but in the eyes of these less knowledgeable people, their analysis makes them more educated about bitcoin.

At the end of the day, we know that they're up to something. And that is not to actually to educate people and save them from losing in their bitcoin investment, but to gain sympathy to the people and make them subscribe to their channel because that's the only way that they will gain a good income from youtube.

Wembanyama has been having a tough time lately, especially after that fantastic performance against the Suns earlier this season. They've been on a losing streak with big margins, and today, they fell to the Knicks with a 21-point deficit. Wembanyama only managed to score 14 points, which is a disappointing 28.5% shooting percentage. Coach Pop really needs to figure things out; the trend is starting to look pretty concerning. Could it be that Wembanyama's weaknesses are getting exposed?

Yeah, and Wemby got an overrated chant in that particular game, watch the video from youtube.

Wembanyama hits Immanuel Quickley's hand away and gets overrated chants from Knicks fans

This Warriors vs Nuggets game is coming down to the wire. I’ve been watching the game and I have no idea how the Warriors have been staying in it. The Nuggets are beating them in basically every category and outplaying them, but for some reason it’s a 1 point game with a couple minutes left. I think the refs giving them a ton of trips to the free throw line is the only area the Warriors are shining.

The Warriors still ended up losing, which is a bummer. It could have been a thrilling game if Curry hadn't missed that shot to tie the game. Jokic also missed two crucial free throws that could have made it a two-possession game. The Warriors had a real shot at tying the game or even taking the lead, but it was just bad luck that their last-second play didn't work out.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / $300 Million Crypto Scam in India. on: November 09, 2023, 03:18:07 AM
This is yet another major scam that's been making the headlines recently. According to the news, this scam apparently kicked off back in 2018, probably during the crypto market's bullish phase in 2017 and early 2018. What's hard to believe is that the people behind it are only getting nabbed now, which might have something to do with the involvement of some government officials.

Quote
Authorities Are Involved
The perpetrators primarily sold investments linked to a local cryptocurrency called Korvio Coin (KRO coins). They also reportedly sold several other cryptocurrencies through fake websites. At least one of those cryptocurrencies was a rug pull, as the developers abandoned the project after receiving the investment.

Four police officers are among the most recent individuals who have been arrested.

----

I think that even when a certain country is regulating crypto, crypto education remains crucial. The truth is, it's not limited to that country; even here in the Philippines, we're dealing with a surge of crypto scams. While what happened is absolutely unacceptable, hopefully, it will teach people to stay vigilant against investment scams in the crypto world. The coin they're talking about here is KRO Coins or Korvio Coin. I checked it on CoinMarketCap and it's not listed there. So, it seems these scams mainly target Indians since it's only recognized as a local cryptocurrency.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 08, 2023, 09:18:08 PM
You know, we can't expect the people to believe the same thing that we opted to believe. We all have different points and views about bitcoin and what is right for us may be wrong for their own interpretation. And that's okay since bitcoin is not perfect as it should be. And these people will eventually learn the reality about bitcoin in time when the rest of the people are into bitcoin and there's only few left who believed in fiat.

But if we can educate them about bitcoin as early as today then it would be better. However, convincing them to stick with bitcoin and believe just like how we see bitcoin is another story. That could end up as a scam. And we are obviously do not want to scam them, but to open their eyes on the realities about bitcoin that they fail to understand because their minds are focus more on fiat.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 06, 2023, 06:06:23 PM
I don't think a young man who barely knows anyone older than him will be heard. I think that your neighbor, if he has money and adult children, will be able to figure out his own entertainment. We have no right to interfere with advice where we are not asked. Therefore, you can observe, and if one day you are asked for advice, boldly go to save your neighbor. But for now, do not do good so as not to receive evil.
The problem with most of the older gamblers is that since they have better experiences in gambling, so they know more how to deal with gambling than those who are only starting to gambling. With that, it’s really impossible that your advices will be heard. However, it also depends on how you are going to deliver your advice. If you advise like a close friend, probably he will try to listen and consider your advice especially if he knows he is going far with his gambling habit. But if you advise him like you know better than him in gambling, you are only wasting your time because once he feels offended and sense that you are already over interfering on his own gambling business, then your advice will be useless and will only be taken for granted.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 06, 2023, 03:30:50 PM
My picks for the upcoming games are the following teams:

1-Knicks +1.5
2-Jazz +4
3-Kings +1.5
4-OKC +3.5

All of them are underdogs, but I believe they will play harder to get back on the winning track, especially since they've all already suffered 2 losses. I considered using a martingale strategy, but since the game schedules are very close, I've decided to place a single bet on each of them.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: November 06, 2023, 12:37:13 PM
Garcia like Tank Davis said has poor boxing technics and I have to agree with that, Garcia is almost like the popular YouTubers who are turning to be boxers the only difference is that Garcia has a very strong left hook aside that his boxing game is poor.

I don't know much about Oscar Duarte but I think he is also atmost an average boxer and Garcia even with his poor Technics should be able to put him away with a strong left hook that connects well.

Tank Davis has the right to claim that because he defeated Ryan Garcia, he is the only boxer who has defeated King Ray. However, let's set aside Tank Davis for now as he has already reached a different level. Ryan is making his comeback, so let's see if he succeeds in that.

I'd also like to see Tank Davis fight Isaac Cruz in a rematch since Cruz is a tough opponent to crack. Their previous fight went the distance, lasting 12 rounds, and Davis won via unanimous decision. It was a highly entertaining fight as Isaac Cruz showed no fear of Tank Davis's power.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 06, 2023, 11:42:09 AM

Warriors lost on the road. Maybe the Cavaliers was favored on this one because they have the homecourt advantage, and it seems like they defended their home. Good win for the Cavs.

They really need that win because it would be their first victory at home. You can imagine how the fans would react if they can't win on their home court. Once again, it was clear that the Warriors faced a size disadvantage. They couldn't stop the Cavaliers from attacking the paint, and they struggled to prevent offensive rebounds by their opponents. You see, the Warriors played a small-ball style of game, and their best chance to win is by shooting with a high percentage. Unfortunately, in this game, they didn't do that.

Here are their statistics:

Field Goal Percentage (FG%): 36%
Three-Point Percentage (3PM%): 39%
Free Throw Percentage (FTM%): 67%

They need to perform better than these stats to secure a win.
792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can it be real bull or just a temptation. on: November 05, 2023, 08:51:11 PM
I feel that the recent bullish moment is just a temptation to increase the hype in the market, in the next few weeks the price of bitcoin will definitely move stably and sideways, it's not yet time for bitcoin to pass its ATH but I'm sure before this year ends, the price of bitcoin will pass $40k. Bitcoin is a very volatile asset and market sentiment really influences its price, so don't ever think twice about Bitcoin when the market is bearish or bullish.
We have to examine the details of the causes of the increase rather than just talking speculation without sources, even though your assumption is just a temptation but the fact is that Bitcoin still remains at the current price of $34k, the price should fall below $32k if your assumption is correct, every market increase is definitely support causing the market was at a high recovery rate before the bullish period. My prediction is that the market will reach $50k by the end of this year as the very close halving period will trigger a high market increase next year.
Could it be a real bull or just a temptation, I think that does not matter anymore because I always believe that every price of bitcoin is significant and that the present price has something to do with the future price of bitcoin. Although its undeniable that we still get to see market price decline in the next few days but we all know that it's always temporary and bitcoin price will eventually recover afterwards.

However, with bitcoin halving that is soon to happen in the market, then obviously we are heading into a bull market soon but we can't tell exactly as to when it's gonna happen as the market remains unpredictable every single day.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what if bitcoin becomes inferior on: November 05, 2023, 08:23:53 PM
I looked for traces of Satoshi on the Internet. I've read all of his posts since 2009. He is sublime. If you read his writing, you can feel his passion. I have a little bit of bitcoin. I'm pretty relieved just to have Bitcoin. But if you look back at history.. Yahoo lost to Google. Yahoo was great, but Google was even better. Satoshi gave us a gift called Bitcoin without any greed and went somewhere. The problem is, new geniuses are born all the time, and technology advances. Bitcoin is not physics. It's blockchain technology. Which means that bitcoin is not an immutable law. A better technology than Bitcoin could emerge. What should we do if someone gives us a better system than bitcoin as a gift and leaves? It performs better than Bitcoin, and it even has the perfect decentralization of Bitcoin, which we value highly. Bitcoin was created in 2009, and now it's 2023. Cars made in 2009 cannot be better than cars made in 2023 or later. What if someone with as much genius and passion as Satoshi is creating a system better than Bitcoin?
This is not new for bitcoin. A lot of potential projects are born in the market everyday but until now, not any single project has replaced the position of bitcoin. That is the same with the situation you have cited OP. It's not actually a threat for bitcoin if something new better has come up, because the real challenge is if that project will come to conquer the crypto market for more than a decade just like bitcoin did. Of course, there will be higher potential coins that will arise in the market that has better innovation compared to bitcoin, but the problem is if it will get bigger market demand higher than bitcoin since we all know a king will always be a king, and bitcoin will always be the lifeblood in the crypto market ever since.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting online courses? on: November 05, 2023, 02:08:05 PM
I have tried betting on sports a few times, but I know there's a lot more I need to learn and understand. Has anyone here encountered such courses or have any knowledge about them?

I know I could search for this information, but I'd like to hear your answers or opinions directly. Thank you.

Personally, I learned sports betting for free by using various sources, and now I no longer struggle. Learning the basic terminologies in sports betting is crucial so you can understand what people are talking about, especially in forums.

I like you share this to you https://www.si.com/betting/2020/05/13/sports-betting-terms-definitions-gambling.

It can be helpful for anyone looking to learn more about sports betting terminology.

Once you're familiar with the terms, that's when you can start experimenting on your own. This will help you determine if you're good at sports betting or if there are areas you can still improve. It's a lengthy process, so it's essential to be patient and realistic, rather than aiming for quick money, as that's not the recipe for success.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 05, 2023, 01:10:11 PM
Are you watching the game now? It seems like TNT is really feeling the loss of Pogoy and Mikey Williams, as they are currently trailing. Though I can say it's a close game now, since Castro isn't playing well, I think their import will be tired in the second half. I thought the high spread was overvalued, but there's a big chance that Magnolia will win this game and cover the spread. Anyway, I think I'm going to place a live bet after the first half since there's currently no live betting on my sportsbook.

Yes, it's tough to watch TNT trailing by a lot of points. They used to be a strong team, and it's surprising to see them losing by such a big difference. There's still the second half left, but if you believe they can make a comeback, TNT's moneyline might give you some appealing odds.

It's not over yet, there's still hope in the last quarter as TNT is only down by 8 points. Even if they don't win, they might at least cover the spread. Miller is the better import in this game, but I hope he doesn't run out of energy. Oftana is currently the top contributor among the local players. The PBA is a very unpredictable league, and a lot can happen in the last 12 minutes. So, let's enjoy watching the game. I thought it was going to be boring, but it turned out to be an entertaining matchup.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the second Satoshi appears? on: November 04, 2023, 09:58:57 PM
Right. Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin. He's a genius. Bitcoin systems and communities are working perfectly, and everyone is crazy about Bitcoin. But what happens if someone creates a blockchain that is faster and better than Bitcoin and puts it out into the world without any greed, as Satoshi did? Are people going to ditch Bitcoin away? In that moment, we're going to see a blockchain that's performing better than Bitcoin and is perfect for decentralization that everyone emphasizes. What will happen?
For me, its never a threat to the original bitcoin innovation. It needs to prove its utility case first and should exceed the performance and profitability  of bitcoin so that people will be more attracted to invest in it and make it as a priority. However, it may take years for it to happen and for sure, with the high rate of scams in the market, people will be more cautious not to invest and trust into new innovation unless if it can outperform bitcoin and its utility cases in the market.
797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Importance of emotion while trading on: November 04, 2023, 09:33:12 PM
Almost everyone cannot make the right decision in an emotional state, so it is very important not to make decisions in an emotional state because it is very likely that we will make the wrong decision and this can have bad consequences for the trades we make. If we have achieved the target we have made then it would be better for us to take the profits we have obtained and even if we plan to continue then we can continue after taking some of the profits we have obtained, you are right, we must be able to be consistent with what we have achieved. do it to achieve the targets we have set.
People could make mistakes when they are not thinking straight and whatever you do that makes you not think straight should be avoided. Emotional decisions are one part of it, I would say that it is not going to end up being all that crazy and we should be considering that as a big deal, I think it would be very cool if we could make it work somehow but that doesn't mean that we are not going to be able to make a profit out of it.

I think it would be quite strong decision if we could make a profit from this type of thing if we are smart about it. I think the best way to avoid these feelings or anything that makes us question our decisions would be a little bit distant from the investment and focus on something else with our life.
Every decision that is manipulated by a strong emotion will not be good in the long run. It might only be feasible at first but it will never work in the long span. That is why to free yourself from wrong decision making, then never trade or invest when your emotions are not stable. Do not be greedy but learn to trade and be open for losses because that's what trading is all about, not only exclusive for profits but losses as well. When you do that, the risk to lose becomes lessen as you dont get pressured trading and expect instant profits.
798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest with caution - Don’t be blinded by the speculation of incoming bull run on: November 04, 2023, 08:44:28 PM
Not only when there is bull run, but the moment you decide to enter crypto investment, at least you should make extensive research and understand your  investment and all its risks because the moment you risk your money, there is no way backing out, otherwise you will experience nothing but inevitable losses in the market. Scamming happens any time and anywhere so learn to be more cautious as much as possible to avoid regretting and blaming other people for your unexpected losses.

However, seeing this post is also a good reminder not to be blinded by these too good to be true projects most especially that we all think that bull run is only about profits, but in reality this most awaited bull run can also make us lose instantly most especially if we chose to trust altcoins more than bitcoin. Seeing altcoins are cheaper than bitcoin, so its not surprising that people will be tempted to buy more altcoins than risk their money in an expensive bitcoin.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2023, 12:31:07 PM
What's scary about the Nets is that there is no clear franchise player for them right now. So everyone wanted to prove something in this game and so they played like there is no tomorrow and regardless who they are facing next, it will be a very dangerous team.

That makes the Nets really unpredictable because it's hard to know who will make a big impact in the game. Unlike other teams with clear superstars, the opponents can usually predict who will lead the team.

What's interesting about the Nets is that everyone on the team is ready to contribute. Their last 3 wins on the road were very impressive, but they need to win at home. However, facing the Celtics might not be easy because Boston is very confident right now. But it's worth a try; an upset is possible for sure. So, I'd like to bet a small amount on the Nets' moneyline since they're on a winning streak.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 04, 2023, 10:54:24 AM
I decided to look at some of the NBA action tonight to try and turn something small into something decent. All the games I picked are at or past halftime. All favorites, but that doesn't mean anything.

Pacers
Bucks
Heat
and tossed in a college football game Wyoming. All moneylines and so far 1 game is done(Pacers just ended). Good luck to me.

Congratulations on your NBA bets! You won all three because they were moneylines. If you had taken the spread, only the Pacers would have covered. As for the college football game, I hope you did well, but I didn't check the result because I wasn't following it.

Anyway, there's only one game that I find interesting to watch tomorrow. It's an early game in my time zone, but I want to watch the Suns play the 76ers. Will the Suns win a game on the road after losing two straight games at home, or will their cold streak continue?
