I voted yes, mainly because I am becoming disillusioned in altcoins in general. I didn't like them much in the beginning, tried to give them a chance, but it seems most of these [ANN] threads are circlejerks and scams. It would be nice to see this place return to bitcointalk instead of shitcointalk.

Bitcoin isn't for the lazy, in fact it seems to discourage that unless you want to go full scammer. I have been here some time, am no stranger to misfortune, yet I have never begged or even taken out a loan here. I continually try to improve my skills and knowledge about bitcoin and I use that daily to earn helping others. You might find throwing yourself into learning and developing skills to be quite cathartic, it has worked well for me. Good luck.

So you are saying that you think I am lying when I say there are no board or ED salaries?
The financial records have been released, yes, the website needs work, it's been improving since a new webmaster (also volunteer) came aboard.
No, I simply said "I'll believe it when I see it". I have no issues calling a liar a liar if they are in fact lying. That isn't the case here. The onus is on The Bitcoin Foundation, which has done nothing but paint themselves fools since inception, to show us why this changing of the guard matters at all. I have to agree with Olivier Janssens that the whole thing should be dissolved, as there continues to be no direction or plan besides the same circlejerk everyone has seen for years. r/bitcoin is an echo-chamber for sure, but a lot of people made some good points here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3wyt85/ive_just_been_forcibly_removed_from_the_bitcoin/Also from: https://github.com/BruceFenton/bitcoinfoundationplanThe foundation Chief Scientist is Gavin Andresen. This is the funniest of all. Your "Chief Scientist" sure has acted like a petulant child because no one in the community wanted XT.

Three new board seats? What, three new seats for people to enjoy football player-like salaries and paid expenses? Just to be clear, no board member recieves a salary. There are also no expenses paid for board members. The Executive Director role used to be paid and is now also volunteer, some minimal out of pocket expenses are reimbursed. It is correct that the Bitcoin Foundation overspent in the past. No one involved with those decisions is still with the foundation. We can only do what we can moving forward. I'd urge people to look at the actual mission statement and make comments. The Bitcoin Foundation is here and exists, most productive thing is to see how we can most effectively have this organization serve Bitcoin. I'll believe this when I see it. You guys have yelled transparency and make unprovable statements, yet this still doesn't work: https://bitcoinfoundation.org/transparency/Spring of 2015 has long passed, and 2016 is upon us. Does it take that long to cook the books? I mean, that giant donation button at the bottom of the page still works.

We were told that previous change of leadership was supposed to turn the foundation around, so I don't see how this one will yield better results. It's still a festering sinkhole for money and it's probably never going to change.
Literally, the only purpose it serves is to prove that such outdated governance models don't work. All centralised systems are prone to corruption and you're doing a fantastic job of demonstrating that.
They have done an awesome job of showing us who not to trust - Charlie Shrem, Mark Karpeles, etc. Gavin Andresen has made a laughingstock of you all with this XT business as well.

And todays newbie account asking for a loan without collateral or reading the rules goes to ..............

Please just disband your foundation already. All you guys do is spend insane amounts of money to do nothing that promotes wider adoption of bitcoin.
EDIT: Removed my previous kiddy-diddler comment until more compelling evidence surfaces.

exactly why should i post that address if i would not have balance, you may have not checked properly or may be you havn't copied correctly, i do have 1.59btc at the moment in wallet, leaving you again my wallet address its open anyone can check it please.
1MWmBn9G3PNSrzQyHQnR7xvZEegGntArvq
its in localbitcoins.com
Meaning you possibly have 1.59 BTC. Seeing as it is on-site and you don't have the private keys, you don't own any bitcoins. Also, no localbitcoins username - do you not want people to check your reputation ?

Darn you Blazed!
We both beat you because you need to come out of the windmill every now and again.

Considering your reputation, it might be helpful to post a public key showing that you might actually control a wallet with that amount of bitcoin.
I have seen others attempt to scam naive individuals with this sort of thing, hoping their greed will outweigh their common sense.

I took a brief look at this ... you should consider removing the code at bottom right that shows where your admin panel is located and move that to another page on your server. Many tales of woe have began because of this.

Wow, you ppl can really twist things around to your liking.
I dont recall ever blaming fincen for anything. What i did say is that our problems began shortly after adding the new Tier Level system and complete UI upgrade with all the new features meaning i believe the problem exists within our code base somewhere.
If this is true, then I'd rethink the developer I hired and get someone competent to come fix things. Perhaps revert back to my old system until the new one is tested in a sound environ. Seriously, where are people hiring these "web developers" nowadays ?

So Cryptsy is still not communicating with their customers? Unfuckingbelievable. And yeah, the KYC stuff should have nothing to do with the current debacle. My god this is pathetic. We need a Mt. Gox-type picket at their door. Do they still have a door?

Siameze, if you ever want to go the other way, i.e., my cash in the mail for your btc, let me know I might be interested. I agree with you about Coinbase. They closed my account for a silly reason. Not sure how an exchange with what must be a pretty small user base can afford to be so selective about their customers.
Sure, thanks. I was doing business with a reliable guy every month from localbitcoins for cash in mail, he unfortunately stopped selling. 2 + years was a good track record for me, I hate having to do this all over again. :-/

Says someone who is promoting a MLM ponzi in his signature
I agree, I have no sympathy for people that lose their coins by continously promoting and participating in these scams.

Since I too left a trust rating for MZ, I agree with what has already been said. I will change my rating from negative to neutral at least when he makes good on his outstanding loan. Yes he was a pretty nice guy but fact remains he defaulted on a loan without saying anything to anyone. This is no different than would happen to anyone else under similar circumstances.

about 2 months ago I stolen the account and his e-mail he had also changed, how do I get it back ? Altynbekova my account name and has become a full member, HELP ME, PLEASE,,,,,
link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=511579Can you sign a message with an old address of yours? How come you only now noticed? how do you mean? The profile my old account , what should I do? Meaning you open up your bitcoin client and use the bitcoin address listed in your ccount profile to sign a message. Then there can be no doubt you are indeed who you say you are, unless the attacker stole your private key as well.
