The official team of Espers coin introduced a new logo Looking kind of strange the logo, imo. Squeezed. Anyway is having a modern look but it lacks the coin identity, nothing says is espers, furthermore is not far away from the old one. I don't know the rest but looks like the designers are weak, if you ask me. This logo designed that would better represent our goal of being a modular system that processes data in a scalable manner. looks more like a mail envelope...you'll be sending your money away to be never seen again LOL! fucking ethereum icon copycats, only to look more retarded and stupid hahaha
another example of shitcoin narrative "we are in this for long term"....is more than 4 years not long enough? LOL
This can be added up at the old cliche " i'm in for the technology ". I also think 4 years are enough, and since nothing happened, i doubt it will ever happen. ......modular system that processes data in a scalable manner.
this is an example of "tech" foreplay.. words that sounds something techy and valuable but does't hold any value for your money hehehe

no way ! What?! This year? Not talking about this year, neither last year what are you talking about.... Bogdan aka gawlea left this year, so did Adorid raetsch and the rest who didn't left last year your team fallen apart because you are a bunch of scumbags liars i left? i am not active anymore but still running the wallet server and will continue with that. i am not contributing anything, yes. just a lack of time due to more important stuff than "earning money". but i am still up to date to most things. and time will change, when my other projects need less time, i will do more on bismuth than just providing infrastructure. Your retchy server is your business. Nobody will caress your head, feel your hair or give you a candy for that. The era of informational douchbaggery is upon us, which underscores that people are busy with their shit and are in general quite lost in the galaxy of new information which comes to spotlight every moment. We just do what we do best: take money from the guy next door and leave. Nobody stops to give something a try. Nobody cares. hm, what? See you are the one who lacks understanding LOL..want me to explain it to you?...or you are just pretending you don't?

components will be fixed with new model releases. asus tuf 3080 didn't cheap out on components BTW.
It's funny, $700 gpu's with $5 capacitors instead of $15 and then you rma and they say it was your fault hehe Igor's Lab was the first to make an observation (not a definitive note of blame) regarding the capacitors. Of course every tech channel wanted their clickbait videos uploaded for maximum crisis views. Hadware Unboxed had a much calmer and methodical review of the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhyCdraz54sThere's always a chance the 1st iteration will bear some great abilities that the manufacturers will quickly nerf. In this case the first iteration simply had a little power delivery issue which will be fixed on next production run. Suffices to say this card was rushed to production. Nvidia should be subject to a class action lawsuit over this particular release. It would be nice to see it happen. Most likely that will never happen. I simply don’t understand why nvidia has shit releases over and over and over and over again. more of a complaint about shortages and somewhat of bad parts. The only saving grace was I was not able to buy one ☝️ so no real loss for me. gamers hate miners (crypto people) due to buying up the cards. now they get the taste of crypto---just like buying shitcoins after an exchange listing LOL

i am really sorry, that i don't care, being mentioned somewhere. on discord you can still see, that i am a foundation member.
and before you ask, no i didn't get paid and i expected that, even if there would have been a payment.
i saw you were removed from the website, so the rest, and it looked like you left or being removed. other was my question and i didn't had the intent to ask if you were paid or not, but since you mentioned it, may I ask why you didn't got paid if you provide infrastructure to Bismuth network? this is strange. because in the last year, i did nothing else, than maintaining a server, which only takes a few minutes every month. this is qhy crypto is like it is. think if linux torvalds expected to get paid in his first 2 years developing linux... torvalds didn't have a premine, dev fund, mining tax LOL and how did linux take off as an OS? answer: with more people developing it. and what do you think, how did they got paid? and additionally... ah no, you won't understand it nor do try it. have a bad day, as it seems that is what you are looking for all the time no. you are the one who didn't get the point, which is---no developers jumping onboard, why? because bismuth is an "ethereum wanna be" shitcoin. just like the other dead shitcoins that are "bitcoin wanna be" by the way 2.0? LOL, just like linux distributions what features are plagiarized from ethereum or other ethereum wanna be shitcoins will come up?. the "2.0" is an ethereum move LOL copycats---->the more you do this the more obvious the shitcoinfuckery hahaha except for newbs who are caught with this newb trap. that's the end game copycats because there are just 1,2 or 3 programmers who makes a living off newbs around here

he problem with new video cards is that they do not keep the factory overclocking and crash in games and software, where the video processor frequency is higher than 2000 MHz.
it was the cheap components (caps) that cannot handle those high frequencies.

Almost every gigabyte gpu I ever owned needed to be sent back as an RMA
I dont have any problems with my last GPU since they was coming out , i have the Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080 Ti 11G ! Never got any problems with it on mining or on other things like gaming even in the summer when its hot. I bought one the first when they was going on the sell if they was aviable. 1080 (Ti) are really great, still have plenty of them running without any problems. 2080 (Ti) are already crap. The coolers are too cheap, the cards will run too hot if you mine with them, compared to other brands. Sold them all long time ago. 3080/3090 same story, check the videos. Components are the cheapest. The cooler is crap. The power cable slot is a joke and will break if you unplug the cables frequently. The backplate is a design fail, because the right fan cant blow enough air trough the card as intended. cable slot is standard 8pin pcie for non-founders edition. so no problem there 3080 is not an "overhaul" upgrade to a miner if he..did not setup rigs with 1000w or below PSUs (lack of pcie cable, efficiency is lower by getting far away from 50% load ) - you must use separate 2 pcie cable instead of 1 pcie cable(with two 8pin socket), (you can still get away with 1 pcie cable with 1080ti) - with more power the mining room should have enough temperature allowance (room will be hotter) and gpu spacing is good enough. components will be fixed with new model releases. asus tuf 3080 didn't cheap out on components BTW.

You best double check on gigabyte. They cheaped out on their 3080 caps hehe

Newer upcoming models from manufacturers will fix the issue..the issue on cheaping out on components LOL!

they think spreading lies will make their mining more profitable LOL specially the ones with old cards...like someone around here Yeah, usually benchmarks come the next day or so, on vega and now the 3080 they never came in the next day which makes you wonder the reason behind it. Vega was the most profitable gpu to date in all history of mining, at its peak, a single vega used to earn almost 20 usd per day per card on monero and you could not find anybody talking about it. I had inside info about it but since I'm not a miner, I never purchased one myself to see it. even expanding to bigger mining farms (scaling), density is still a "major" feature. imagine managing 30 cards vs 300 or more cards, with bigger farms you will have another headache/expense --->someone/ a person skilled enough for that additional management/troubleshooting etc., space/shelves, and electrical lines and outlets etc.. at the bigger scheme of things, managing 500 cards vs 1000 cards you'll get how much reduced work is the 'minus 500'.. at 30 cards vs 60 cards you might not feel the 'extra work' very much. remember ASICs expensiveness/price are not just derived from just being efficient it is also derived from being dense. like 1 unit for (insert very high hashrate here)
|
|
|
A lot of people bought a 3080 and so far nobody has said anything, it reminds me when the vega came out, nobody said anything about its hashrate on monero, now we know why nobody is saying anything, it does 100 mhs, yes we saw this value sometimes but it was from strange sources and not from a random 3080 user. A troll at reddit said his 3090 does only 80 mhs, I wonder why he was saying such lie, probably discouraging people buying the cards for mining I guess.

Well, is not the op at fault here, the media says "bitcoin miners" as refiring to mining in general and common people believe their gpus can be used to mine bitcoin and then they come here believing they can get rich fast with 1 or 2 gpus, it's hilarious ehhe
those days are looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong gone. even if you mine with a few gpus back then you should have hodl for a few years to make a significant amount of money.

with the new leg up in GPU tech, the gap with ETH asic mining vs ETH gpu mining is now very close.
since litecoin days we never seen a coin that grew to millions to billions of market capitalization where GPU mining was kicked out since the beginning of ETH.
ETH plan to move to POS is waste of such a feat in terms of mining with commodity hardware (GPUs) for a coin who resisted ASIC mining dominance.

Can someone remind me of the Business use case for Espers? At one point they planned to do decentralized Website Hosting? Ist kinda unclear on their website what they try to achieve….
there is no business use case for shitcoins like espers. the business use case for espers is "YOU" ...you buying their worthless bags

dirty cheapy poor asian troll still thinking someone ever asked his misery opinion Said by the guy who do shitcoin scam and sock puppetry for a living lol your bold fake statements are not interresting without any facts, i'm ordinary Espers holder from late 2016, you're poor asian troll-nocoiner with tiny peni$ ) an ordinary "espers holder"...hmmmm ...so you're the poor cheap miserable around here LOL! you can earn much more if you'll mine eth-zec-others , sell 'em & buy ESP immediately much misery! This can be added up at the old cliche " i'm in for the technology ". I also think 4 years are enough, and since nothing happened, i doubt it will ever happen. that "i'm in for the tech" is one of the most dangerous LOL. specially for ethereum "wanna be" coins due to ethereum's success. "wanna be" coins just watches the breakthrough of successful coins and they imitate it/copy/make tweaks to their shitcoin scam so they can make that "tech" statements, pretty much like the fake ass influencers and trading gurus who just copy the what the "real deal" did and claim they are that good or for the worse "even better" hehe

@arielbit I understand why are you so mad, because this project is not what you are expecting, nor the development is not what it was supposed to be, but hey.. it is what it is.
From my point of view, the good and the bad things are:
The good thing: This coin is good for newbies in the cryptospace, for those who wants to test the blockchain with small amounts of money, i.e. you can buy like 35000 ESP for $1 and play around with the coins.
The bad thing: You can't stake small amounts of coins like 100000-200000 ESPERS.
ESPERS is something like DOGE coin but much cheaper, with stacking.
i am not expecting anything from this project, this shitcoin is just an eyesore. "testing blockchain with small amounts of money" are one of shitcoin narratives to lure dumb money in to your shitcoin scam. another example of shitcoin narrative "we are in this for long term"....is more than 4 years not long enough? LOL

Pretty amazing I can sell my 1070s for over $100 and I paid $340 for them over 3 years ago.
Yeah but you need to understand gpus prices are not like used to be, gtx 1070 used to be sold for $349, now $499. Yeah, if you buy a 3070 today for $499 and then gpus prices increase once again to a 4070 $699 then yes you will have a resale value better than when you bought and that will hold but pay attention that $349 you paid in 2016 is today $499, inflation and other things. A good example is when you could buy a 3 bedroom house for 500 dollars some decades ago and today that money is worth a 3070 ehhe Yep, that's the speed of money. A dollar today is worth 2 in the future. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush, or something like that haha. Mining is a good hedge against all the crypto's value going to poop. Getting $100 for a video after 4 years might sound great now until you consider in 4 years it's 1/2 of what it is right now. As always it's good to diversify - own different types of wealth (property, equities, rentals) and even in mining own nVidia and AMD cards in a mix. Diversify? Looks more like a portfolio to me, you add healthy foods in the mix because wherever you are going with all the poverty prevention, if that one and only body fails-game over.

That's why for people who ROI their cards many times over, they just want those old card out of their precious space, so they can put the new cards in their place.
