801  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 06, 2016, 03:21:40 PM
How on earth I'm the only one who didn't get a BOT reset then ? my stats are still the same . (I did get my first week payment though)

are you posting with a wrong account or something?
there's many missing payment on this campaign, and now it just got worse. time for someone to open a scam accusation? not me though, I'm busy.

My bot did not reset. I'm also capped at 150 posts since its been 10 days now since last reset and i usually post 18~ per day. The payment that i did receive does not reflect either last 2 payout #.

Over the course of the last 2 months i've been constantly(almost everytime) shorted posts payout and at the moment have about 300 posts unpaid (since i received a payout for 103 posts earlier, though i posted 130~ valid and 150~ valid for the last two unpaid periods).

Copy of example of PM's ive sent;

Hello Bitcoin Boy, i hope you're having a nice day;

all payment received now, thanks

I was missing 236+~ paid posts, i received an additional payout of 150 posts, so now only 86 posts would remain unpaid. Much better than 236 posts unpaid. Thanks.

So at first i had over 300 posts due during the 3 week "prenew bot" period, lets just say 300 for simplicity. I received that max 100 posts payout you sent. So 200 left to pay.

Then after that, there was a 2 week period with no payout;

I received, today,  a payment for 135 posts out of 171 for this week and last week. And i am still missing over 200 unpaid post from the 3 weeks "bot break" before we changed bots.

Which means 171-135=36 unpaid for the "post new bot period" +200 unpaid "pre new pot period" = 236 unpaid.

Then i received a manual payout of 150 posts. Thank you very much. Which means i now have an outstanding amount of unpaid posts of 86 posts. (236-150 = 86 posts outstanding)

Not a big deal anymore, but its still on my mind and i'm curious to why the manual adjustment payout also capped at 150 when i was due more.

If those 86 posts we're not paid for a different reason than being overlooked, then disregard, so yeah mostly curious at this point. Late happy new year and all that stuff. Smiley

After that it continued to accumulate slowly.
802  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: March 06, 2016, 02:46:23 PM
it will sooner rise than fall...
yepp, constant is the best!

One thing we have not been the past 2 periods is consistent.  One a very positive.... then a little negative.  It makes no sense, I cant find good speculation to why it's happening.

That bad thing is price has fallen some.   And that can be a slow ride up.... so it's a interesting time.

Maybe they're moving huge self contained datacenter freight containers somewhere cold by ships, this would mean 3 weeks or so of downtime?
803  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][EU] 3x Antminer U3 with PSU + 2xS3+ with 1000W PSU on: March 06, 2016, 02:41:57 PM
0.1BTC=+/-32€
1U3= 40/50€

1BTC=+/-320€
So that's 160€/1xS3+

PSU is sold what I paid for it (including the extra cables)

I'm not counting the VAT and shipping I paid on all of it.

Compared to my local market and what I found on ebay/amazon, I can't find cheaper for a ready-to-mine kit.

In fact BTC to euro is higher now... 1BTC=+/-360euros

EU is Crazy. You're selling S3+ for more than what we're selling S5's in North America. I'd sell S5's for that price myself.

That wasnt my picture, I was just showing you what frame I have.  Its in my garage put away right now.

Yeah i understand, i meant could you possibly link to a live picture. The link you gave me has been taken down. Also where would you ship from?

im in sask, canada

Alright, please get back to me when you have more details. Cheers. Smiley
805  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][EU] 3x Antminer U3 with PSU + 2xS3+ with 1000W PSU on: March 06, 2016, 01:57:54 PM
Bumping.

I realize it may seem "expensive" for US based miners, but this is a EU offer.

I think it's reasonnable compared to ebay/amazon/aliexpress given that I am EU based, so no VAT to add and shipping would be reasonnable and fast.

Hmm, i think you could get a S7 for around that price. But if someone with free electricity want quiet gear, then maybe. Still...

Well if you find me a S7 for 1.2BTC, I'm buying !!!!

i've honestly not found any S7 under 2.5BTC.

I believe I am a resonnable person and very much open to discussion.

here's the french market:
http://www.leboncoin.fr/annonces/offres/rhone_alpes/occasions/?th=1&sp=1&q=antminer

here's the EU market:
http://www.ebay.fr/sch/i.html?_odkw=antminer&LH_PrefLoc=3&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR4.TRC0.A0.H0.Xantminer+s7.TRS0&_nkw=antminer+s7&_sacat=0

Well you're selling 3 u3, 0.3BTC  + 1.5BTC total1.8BTC. (I guess you're including a lesser PSU there) Thats 10-15% higher than what lesser batches goes for here. I'm not sure how VAT account for a 50% increase in price. Bitmain also sold u3 in small batches for 20$ each. So thats almost 300% increase in price. *shrug* I dont understand why people buy those anyways Smiley

Give the bot sometime to pay out. I received my first and second payments three hours apart. I am still waiting for the bonus though - if they did not change their plan.

Well i got 0.072 when i should get about 0.1 for current payout timeframe (1 week + a few days late still pending on the bot) + about 0.092~ for the payout that was skipped, then +0.02 bonus. Actually if you take the skipped payment and subtract 0.02 instead of +0.02 thats pretty much on par with what i should of received.

Are they going to pay 0.14~ in the second payments?

Still havent received 8X posts to be paid from when we changed bot as well.

Can you provide a live picture? I think we missed our timing Tongue
810  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [25 PH] ** 5x AVALON6 GIVEAWAY ** Kano CKPool (kano.is) [0.9% PPLNS] US,DE,SG,JP on: March 05, 2016, 11:32:09 PM
Hi Kano

Slush pool email out to all the members about voting whether to stay at current 1MB, go to 2MB or 8MB Block size.  What is your take on this and what direction is the pool going with that?  Seems like bitcoin network have been really really slow lately unless people are willing to pay 4x fees or higher and we're already at this 1MB limitation with so many blocks in the 970+KBs.  I'm hoping we can get over this hump fast as even a temporary solution of 2MB will help get BTC prices stabilize and hopefully go pass $450 easily.  I'm sure you have better idea and directions on this and if you can shed some light for us, would be appreciate it.

I dont really see why a fork would make BTC go up easily. I think people may be more inclined to dump, but we'll see. I dont really know if we should change the pool to "vote" for Bitcoin Classic/2MB etc.
811  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 + 3D printed mods on: March 05, 2016, 10:55:34 PM
A friend of mine printed up the mods for me and I installed most of them on my S5 last night.  I did not have the flat top M3x5mm screws so I couldn't do the intake or exhaust ducts just yet.

Bottom plates going on.
http://i64.tinypic.com/1zz25bp.jpg

Top plates on.

Controller board reinstalled and ready to hash!
http://i63.tinypic.com/14a8xzp.jpg

It runs about 1*C cooler with just the top and bottom plates (fan set at 60%) and 1dB quieter.  When I install the intake and exhaust ducts I will also be adding a pull fan and then play around with oc'ing.

I was thinking/hoping the plates would have a bigger effect on the miner than a measly 1C/1dB. I look forward getting the final numbers when you install the ducts, however.
812  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BM1384 Pod Miner plus trade-in/recycling - an interest and feasibility poll on: March 05, 2016, 10:32:14 PM
I probably have enough for sticks. But if you want to trade it for one of the S5-controller-compatible pods that'd be alright because I won't have enough chips for everything.

If you want. I'm from Canada so we'd just need to take the 3x $ shipping cost back and forth in the math. Then i could send you the two boards at some point.

I just thought you were giving up on S5 chips pods? Or are they Bitfury pods?
813  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB][To Canada] More GPU Rigs frame & Powered USB Risers on: March 05, 2016, 10:25:35 PM
Hey.

I have 5 x risers. 15$ for the whole lot + shipping/escrow.

Thanks

Thanks Smiley Will take them if they're working powered USB. PMed.

Still looking for more mining rig stuff.
814  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BM1384 Pod Miner plus trade-in/recycling - an interest and feasibility poll on: March 05, 2016, 03:55:00 PM
Depending on how near, look at kilo's "Community miner discussion" thread. That's basically taking over my TypeZero project and the plan is to build a USB-connected board that'll fit on an S1 chassis with BitFury chips.

What should i do with that dead S5 board you sent me? I still have it. Are you still pulling chips for sticks?
815  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB][To Canada] A couple more GPU Rigs frame & Powered Risers on: March 05, 2016, 11:31:34 AM
Anyone has some laying around? This is an example;

Also interested in nice powered usb risers. Cheers.

Added a note about Powered USB Risers. And i'm still looking. Smiley

Also you can tell costumers to to put his name and some proof from note before he/she send so that you can easily know who is your costumer.
I think its the best if you generate address every time you have a costumer so that you can recognize it easily..

Orrrr you can generate a new BTC address for a particular order #. I'm not sure why OP is trying to complicate this Tongue
Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V has been around for a long time.

ah yes, but i like this more https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=14940.0, also for some reason he does not accept bitcoin

Yeah this is also exactly what i'm looking for and i know where to get the parts and how much they cost, but i feel rather lazy building it myself. I'd much rather let someone make a bit of profit on it. But 70$ per is already pushing it. There's like 10$ of materials there.

can you do one for me i can pay you 50 for it

No i dont have the time/energy to do it myself, thats why i'd want to buy it done. Also i'm in Canada, you're probably in the US? Just double shipping would be more than 50$.

819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verifing Customer Payments on: March 04, 2016, 07:39:19 AM
If I’m selling a service online is it possible to tell which customers have sent payment other than generating a new address for each bill?

The right thing to do is to generate a new address for each payment.  Instead of trying to find some other way to do it, perhaps try and find a way to make unique payment addresses less unpleasant to yourself?
It's not hard for us. I just figured it would be easier on customers.

Easier how? Copy pasting an address isint particularly challenging.
820  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need help choosing psu for my antminer s7 on: March 04, 2016, 07:27:30 AM
First off I purchased the EVGA SuperNOVA 1300w psu thinking its is enough. This is how it is setup https://imgur.com/Eig0vG4  I have lots of those "vga" 8 pin to 6+2 pin connectors that will connect to my miner. Can I use these? Also is it safe to go from 8 pin to 6 pin? Also some of those 8 pin give 2 6+2 pin giving me a total of 8 possible 6 pin connections to my miner... I just want to not risk burning my miner because I gave it too much power on one pci-e

If this doesn't work, I will buy 2 separate power supplies because I only have an 120v/15amp outlet. So what power supplies do I need to to run the miner?

Keep the evga 1300 run it on 2 boards use all six cables

and then get a 760 watt psu  run 1 board/blade and the controller.

if you want I have a quality seasonic  760 watt platinum used good price.

http://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-SS-760XP2-Platinum/dp/B009VV55TA/ref=sr_1_4?

some will tell you the evga 1300  can do the trick and on the batch 1 or batch they worked you could split cables.

if you have a batch 8 or newer do it right.  I can sell the platinum  seasonic to you cheap. with 4 pcie connectors

you could add a new evga 750 watt http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Crossfire-Warranty-220-G2-0750-XR/dp/B00IKDETOW/ref=sr_1_5?

this would do 1 blade and the controller

Well my miner is from batch 8, and I don't want to spent more money than I already did for this psu. I can return mine and buy a 850 watt psu and buy your 760 platnuim one. Would that be fine?

I don't know about the 850.... "Power Consumption: 1293W + 10% (at the wall, with APW3, 93% efficiency, 25C ambient temp)".  It seems like you are wanting to push a PSU hard.... not sure why.

Keep the EVGA 1300 its a good PSU.  You can sell it after if you need to when your finnaly done mining with it.  And get the one phil is selling.   I don't see reason to go to 850 to power 2 hashing modules... and try to push the psu.

Good point, but I just want to make sure is my set up safe to run on the miner?

Like i said in PM's, the 1300 is good. Just get a second PSU, even a 650W G2/P2 would do for the last board. Put them on a surge suppressor and power everything simultaneously.

I ran that B8 for a bit like that. Albeit with a 1050GS and a 750G2. Same deal though.
