801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 21, 2023, 11:39:23 AM
I personally care about it enough that I am sure they will not share it with my government since it would be illegal for me to play in a foreign casino. If I trust that they will not share it with my government, then I am fine about it.

And 99% of the places do not share it, so I can easily give my KYC without a worry, it doesn't really change much and doesn't really end up making it any different, we just need to end up with something that would be a little bit different. I know that not a lot of people end up with something that would be a lot worse or better, we just need to end up with something that needs to be secret enough from outside sources. Me sharing it with the casino is fine, it would be not fine if they share it with someone else.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Know When to Stop. Lesson for Everyone, Particularly Investors on: October 21, 2023, 11:28:11 AM
It's definitely a good idea to stop time to time but also not every time you are irritated that doesn't mean you should stop, that's not how job works. If you want to be a professional trader one day and just make money from it, then you can't just love every minute of it, there will be times when things go wrong and you need to learn how to reset and get back to being better. I know that it's a hard thing to do but it's just how it is and could be the only way to move forward.

I hope that it could get to a point where we could make some profit from it, and I know that it's going to take a while but that is what you can do with it one way or another. I know that it is going to take a while to be able to reset like that and not be mad, because not everyone wants the same thing, but I believe it should be very important for everyone to do it one way or another, they could get better at it eventually and do a great return without a doubt if they just put the time in and work to make it happen.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC approves BlackRock's spot bitcoin ETF on: October 21, 2023, 10:59:40 AM
There is nothing to feel sad about the guy who lost money while trading because whales manipulated the market. To be fair we are talking about a situation that is doing exactly what it says it does, and there is nothing shocking or unexpected here.

The whole point of bitcoin market is that it is volatile and it doesn't really do anything that would be a shocker for anyone, it is literally what this whole world is about and we need to end up with something that is a bit more decent here. At the end of the day, we are not going to end up with a result that would be unexpected, we know from the start that we could lose money and it is volatile and it could be manipulated. Anyone who joins this market, must be aware of what could go wrong.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Crypto Exchange Moves Money for Gaza Groups on: October 21, 2023, 10:30:15 AM
Honestly there are both sides that does things for wrong reasons. Did you know that Mia Khalifa (the porn actress) wanted to use all her pornhub income for helping Hamas and the company rejected it and froze her account and gave all that money to IDF (Israel military).

You could support Palestine, you could support Israel, this isn't regarding the war, but this is about freedom and if you want to help someone you can help that person. It is your money and if you are charged with funding terrorists then you will be charged with it by a judge, not by a company and if the company freezes your account and doesn't let you use your money, then I am sorry  but that's illegal and I really do hope that Khalifa would sue them for every penny they have.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 21, 2023, 09:41:00 AM
This would be such a bad idea but also it depends on the job you are doing as well I assume. Like some night shift personnel may not have that much work to do and I am guessing that it is not going to be something to do for them, it is just being there and maybe work an hour at most and then just rest is spending time.

As someone who worked at nights before for a very long time, I can tell you that there aren't that many things that you do during the night, you just keep the place busy but that's about it. I believe that we could end up with something that would make sense on the long run, and for that we could gamble because it would give us something to do. I personally watched tv series Cheesy. It was a fun period but there was no room for growth.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: Isreal and Palestine war and losing your wallet phrase and password on: October 20, 2023, 09:05:16 PM
Another approach to this could be just having something in your pocket? Like a ledger wallet or even a simple usb? I mean if it is on your keychain for example that means that you are going everywhere with it, you have it on your keychain after all and that means you are going to end up with a good result. If you are shot and at hospital you still have your keychain unless they stole it, or if you are bombed and have to vacate then you can take your keychain with you, if you are anywhere, even if you go to another nation, all of that means keychain will be with you.

A simple usb that goes into your keychain would solve 99.99% of these problems. Only possibility that could make things go wrong would be just the fact that you may get it stolen if you are way into the war itself, and if you are in the war itself where you are fighting against other people then I am sure that bitcoin is the least of your worries, people firing bullets to your head seems a lot worse than losing your coins.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a Threat and BTC leads on: October 20, 2023, 08:11:34 PM
"Left" as in china? Russia? Bangladesh??? These are not leftist, where did you learn that dictatorships are leftist? The whole point of socialism and leftist political behavior is to give the power to people, equality, if there is a dude at the top that makes you do whatever he wants, how could you consider that equality? Just because they call themselves left, you believe them? By that logic I would say North Korea calls themselves fair and USA bad too, so we should believe what they say too? That makes no sense.

In any case, I do not think that bitcoin is banned in any of the free nations, and you could just keep on using it the way you want to use it, I am free to buy and sell and use it however I want for example and I am quite happy about it. There is no need for my government to try to save me, it is not going to end up with anything good and we should try to avoid angering our governments with bitcoin by doing anything silly with it in our nation.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: October 20, 2023, 07:42:46 PM
Honestly Arsenal has to win this game if they want to win the title, there is nothing that is looking good about Chelsea these days and I feel like it wouldn't really be anything that would make them lose in this game. Chelsea is just way too bad and they do not have a way out neither, with too many managers and too many transfers, they still couldn't figure out what's wrong with the team and they are going to end up being worse.

The mistakes started with firing Tuchel, they shouldn't have done that to begin with and I believe that we are going to end up with something that would be a little over the top and shouldn't really worry about it at all. I think it is going to end up with anything good for them in this game.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin's Price Surges and Drops Unexpectedly on: October 20, 2023, 03:26:35 PM
Basically that's just what it does, we buy and sell to make it go up and down, there isn't really that much different answer than that. We may see some "reasons" for people to buy and sell, but it is always the same, they sell because they think it will go down, and they buy because they think it will go up, that is about it and nothing more, I think it should be quite important to make it work.

I understand that it may not be the ideal situation at hand, but that is definitely the best that we have right now and we should be focusing on it like we wouldn't anything else. This would be the best thing to do in this regard, otherwise it is going to cause a lot of trouble for a lot of people if we do not know what to do.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Launches Futures 2.0 on: October 19, 2023, 09:01:16 PM
I am not sure if this would bring them higher like they hope it would but I am guessing that at least "some" people will be excited about it. I get that it may not be for people like me who has nothing to do with things like these, but at the end of the day some people are excited about it and that's more than enough for them.

I believe that the best thing we could do right now regarding this situation would be just ignoring all the improvements and just focus on not having any beta issues, I am sure that they have done all the tests they need to do and will keep doing it until the last second but it is not going to be easy to find every single issue, sometimes when there are upgrades like this it ends up being a little bit harder and that causes a bit of trouble. I think it should be a tough deal and can't be really considered all that great easily, it has to be something that would result with an issue that's not going to be easy at all in the end.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 19, 2023, 08:39:19 PM
This basically tests someone's relationship. If you are gambling so much that your spouse tells you to stop and yo udo not, that is not testament on your addiction, that is testament on how you do not love the person you are with enough. This isn't like eating or drinking or anything fun, this is gambling, it's addiction, it's a bad thing, like how your spouse may also say stop taking drugs, it is a good thing that they are trying to stop you.

It is not time to "be the man" and reject them, if you do not listen and keep doing it and do not care about them, that means you do not love them enough, any man would know that if you love a woman you would stop breathing for them, you would die for them, stop gambling is nothing compared to that. My wife is not like that, she likes to gamble too, so we do not have that type of stuff but she did ask me to stop some things back in the day and I quit them, even though it was a tough deal, I still did it for her.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin & Cryptocurrencies: Pioneers of Freedom Amidst Financial Crisis on: October 19, 2023, 08:10:43 PM
I agree with this, it's obvious and maybe not a new point of view, it was literally in the whitepaper that Satoshi wrote and definitely the core values of bitcoin but that doesn't mean I disagree with it.

Anyone who is invested into bitcoin should know the values of it and should approach it differently. I get that it may look a bit different and difficult at times but that doesn't change the fact that we are going to do something that would be a little bit different approach. Hopefully we can reach to a point where we could end up with a good return one day or another, and profiting is part of this.

Because even though the values are important for something, the results are also quite important as well. We can't have bitcoin being small amount with tiny marketcap and keep supporting it, if there are enough people who supports the ideas behind bitcoin then it means there must be all those people buying it, which would in return make the price go up.
813  Economy / Speculation / Re: The crypto market has changed and I think its a sign of mass adoption on: October 19, 2023, 07:21:02 PM
Chart definitely shows that we are on the verge of something bigger, that is what it is telling me. Whenever there are possibilities of rises this type of thing happens and the more people that joins the better the possibility of us doing better as well. I get that this can't be really all that true, we should be considering the situation a little different but that is not really the thing we should be caring about, we should be looking for something that could benefit them a lot better. I know that this will take a while for them to make it work but that is going to be a tough deal if we want it to work better.

I hope that we could see people make a bigger return this time around because if we are getting a lot more people then it should grow a lot more to leave all of us something, and the bigger pie means there will be easier time to sell since there are a lot more people that is willing to take up where you left off and keep taking it further.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s long-term investors own over 76% of all BTC for the first time on: October 19, 2023, 04:54:35 PM
Like I always say, the decision for the price is based on the market, not the rest. So even there is just 1 bitcoin left in the market, then whoever owns that 1 bitcoin and puts it up for sale will end up deciding the price of bitcoin.

If you own bitcoin then you are not deciding the price, it is in your wallet and you are not selling it, how could that change the market price of it, it would not and it would not cause the price to move at all. So, the holders are not the ones that decide on the price of bitcoin, sure they buy at one time to hold it first, and that is good idea and sure it may have made it go up, but since it's long term, it is just one purchase and not really a big deal.

I believe that we are going to see it go up more in the future but that is based on traders who sell and that will make all the difference. I get that it may not all that simple for the time being, but we need to end up being a lot more hyped about it to buy more and make it go up.
815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin base case target on 2030 is $682,800 according to Ark Invest on: October 19, 2023, 03:58:19 PM
I would say it would not be really unrealistic to say 682k for 2030, that seems like a quite good deal to me. I am not saying that it will not be able to reach that, nor would I say that it would be much bigger than that, I think that would basically be what it is.

I get that it may look giant right now and feels like we may not reach it, but calculate how many times higher than it is, if we take like lets say we are at 30k right now, that would be a bit above 20x, and reaching 20-25x in about 6 years wouldn't be that much of a big deal. That is also 2 halvings away, so we are going to end up being probably near 100k next year anyway or the year after that, I have a feeling that 100k by 2025 is not impossible and that means it would just leave about 6x left for another whole 5 years, with another halving in it as well. I think that should not be impossible to reach, we go up with the price anyway and we should be thinking that this is quite possible.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: October 18, 2023, 08:35:30 PM
Neymar getting injured was exactly what everyone expected anyway, not like that was a shocker to anyone. I mean dude is made of glass at this point and he gets injured more times than anyone I know. He was destined to be one of the best players after the whole Ronaldo vs Messi rivalry, that was what everyone thought at least, but Ronaldo and Messi is playing better at their age right now than this guy because he keeps getting injured.

That was a bad transfer and shouldn2t have spent that much money on getting him, PSG was smart to let him go, at least they have some salary space created by him, and made some money, and they used that to get some decent players. To be fair PSG got dembele who gets almost as much injured as Neymar does but we will see.
817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wow! US Gov among largest Bitcoin hodlers with over $5B in BTC - and Tim Draper? on: October 18, 2023, 08:03:48 PM
I mean they had the biggest one at that darknet website owner thingy, that was alone a huge one and they still probably have some of it. I think it's fine, governments could and even should own bitcoin, it does help them realize how much profit they are making.

Think about a nation that seized bitcoin at 2014, and it was just 100 million dollars, and now it is maybe 5 billion, wouldn't that nation reconsider their stance on bitcoin because of that? I would, and I am sure that "governments" are filled with people like you and me, so that means they would definitely consider that as a good thing. I believe that they may hold a lot, but they may actually consider buying even more to have some good investment structure for bitcoin.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Magical Is The Magic Money ? - Bitcoin on: October 18, 2023, 06:58:59 PM
These type of topics makes me chuckle, I mean why are we trying to praise or bash bitcoin, why can't we just act normal and just carry on with our life. Why is it that we must see something as either the very best or the worst? Is there really a reason for that at all? I do not see the point of it to be fair and I think it has to be something that will change a lot on the long run. I get that it may not be all that great for the time being, but the current situation shows that we are going to end up with something that will not be all that big.

I hope that we could get to a point where we could maybe see things change, and for that to happen we need to approve the situation to a point where it could end up with a better result eventually. If we can help it get better that would be lovely but that doesn't mean that we have to have an opinion that is so one sided, we can enjoy something without trying to praise it or bash it forever, that would not help anything.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP and Roblox and Bitpay on: October 18, 2023, 05:23:23 PM
Honestly XRP is nothing but Ripple is a great company that works awesome for themselves. If they built something else I can see myself using it because the yare doing amazing work as a company. The trouble for me is that just because Ripple is working awesome doesn't mean that XRP is doing awesome, that is not the case and it doesn't work that way at all, I know that it may sound like that for a while but that is totally unrelated.

Company making profit means the company is making it, for you to personally gain from the success of the company that means you have to be a partner or shareholder, you are not, you are just buying XRP and the price of XRP only goes up when other people buy XRP to make it go higher and this has nothing to do with the company.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: October 18, 2023, 04:08:22 PM
I do not think that it will go up like that, first of all dropping 10x means dropping 90% I assume, if something is 100 dollars and drops 90% that would be 10x to recover, that is probably what OP is talking about right? Even in that case, I would say not a lot of things can drop 90% or more and then go back to what it was.

Yet, if you check the top ranked ones, they will improve a lot eventually and should be good enough, I get that it may not be all that much right now, but that doesn't mean that we are not going to end up with anything that would be different on the long run. I think it is going to be a big deal eventually but we need to give it some time before we could make it go differently, it should be very important.
