Bitcoin Transaction are instant but for some reason like double spend seller mostly want 1 - 3 confirmation to confirm receive due to a lot of double spend .
If the transaction is sent with min fee and confirmed inputs, it is indeed very hard to double spend it even if it is unconfirmed. The issue of tx malleability is completely a different thing.

Governments can regular the exchanges (Bitcoin <-> fiat), but I don't think they can regulate bitcoin itself...

I think they could not pay my pending balance, look at this one : can they afford it? BTW, "Completing 23 miutes on this module will earn you 23 Satoshi" What can I do with 23 satoshi lol

***UPDATE***
Mr. Moriarty just got in touch with me.
I have to say that he is in the process of making things right with me. He owed me .3234 BTC. After a couple of back and forth emails, we agreed to the following. I would remove the negative rating and he would deposit .20 BTC in my account. Which he has done. Further, once I update the posts I have made and let folks know the outcome, he will then release the balance of .1234 BTC to me.
After having talked with Mr. Moriarty, I was informed that somehow my account was hacked. He does seem to be quite busy working to contain the situation. The fact that he is reimbursing me out of his own pocket, in my opinion, does speak volumes to this man's character.
Bitlaunder.com seems to be making the effort to correct things.
Best change your username then lol. Maybe simply abandon this account lol

Nvidia GeForce GT 220
GT220 is a low-end graphics card released in 2009... You can mine with it, but don't expect to get much hashrate....
|
|
|
Thank you very much for that. I will give some of these a go.
No problem. Have fun mining

That's the Txid that Multibit gives me but I check the wallet address, it doesn't show any transaction sent.
Weird. Maybe I found a new bug? What should I do?
Have you tried Tools -> Reset Blockchain and Transactions ??

Don't miss the details lol Contract starts in April and ends 1 year from start date.

Is there an exchange or provider that actually charge zero transaction fee? Just curious... Even blockchain charges 0,0001 Like I say - you can use Bitcoin-qt and pay 0.00000000 BTCbut you might risk a very very long transaction confirmation time. Well, with bitcoin-qt, you can't really send a zero-fee tx unless it is a high-priority one. You will need to play with raw tx But, you can create a zero-fee tx very easily with Electrum

Is there an exchange or provider that actually charge zero transaction fee? Just curious... Even blockchain charges 0,0001 The tx fee is not taken by exchanges/gambling sites/blockchain.info. You can send your tx without any fee, but you may need to wait for a very long time to get it included in a block. For some case, it will never be confirmed.

Is there a list of trasaction that the fees went to miner ? wonder how much they are getting .
When a block is found, the miner will get block reward (25btc at this moment) + tx fees of all the tx included in that block. Take block #285523 as an example. https://blockchain.info/block-height/285523Block Reward 25 BTC Transaction Fees 0.01831 BTC

Perfect! Didn't see that before somehow. Will try No problem. BTW, it is pretty weird. If you view the site in Chinese, you can find that support email at the bottom. If you view the site in English, you can't find that email at all.

Is the whole problem solved now?

I haven't heard of any bitcoin exchange based in Philippines, but have you check localbitcoins? You maybe able to find traders near you...

Thanks for reading the fine print, I am bad at reading instructions. I dont think it's worth it if it starts in 3 months and what the difficulty will be at...
You are welcome. Yup, and that is exactly why the hashrate is "cheap"...

Sonny,
At this time i am running at about 58-60C. I have been running 24hrs with no issues after re-install and adjusting USB/PCIe sleep settings.
OK, good to hear your problems are all solved now

I haven't jumped on the band wagon yet, I'm still debating what hardware to use, but a 4 x GPU rig using fast but not bleeding edge, cutting edge, but leading edge cards that are at better pricing ...
Radeon R9 280 or 270 for example ... 50% or less than Radeon R9 290X
You will get better hashrate with R9 290x, but definitely not 50% better lol. FYR: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

Don't forget about p2pool. You get many of the benefits of pool mining while helping to protect from a 51% attack. And you should end up with more coins because of lower fees.
This True. The only problem with p2pool is that, you need to have decent hashrate, or the variance will be pretty high.
|
|
|
I see, so you are using a laptop.
To be honest, you shouldn't try mining at all with a laptop because (1) It is very bad and inefficient (2) It will very likely be overheated.
