861  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Babagsak Pa Kaya? on: December 24, 2020, 10:44:45 AM

Maybe ilang years pa ulit? 2025 ang next bitcoin halving, baka magkaroon ulit ng halving effect at magstart ng panibagong ATH soon. Baka nga yung pricing ngayon is tumaas pa ng tumaas, patuloy na nagreresist ang BTC ngayon.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 23, 2020, 06:03:28 PM
And now the next challenge will be.. can Bitcoin hold this value until the end of 2021? I just can't believe that in spite of world economic crisis due to this current pandemic which is still in effect but Bitcoin did reach this all time high therefore how much more if the world become new normal in which people can go back to their way of life.
Well, I'd say that due to this pandemic Bitcoin became a thing because investors tend to move their stash in crypto to save their money from falling in stock. Through this pandemic, everyone finds out how good investing in crypto is because no matter what phenomenon we face it won't directly affect the market. And now a lot of institutions and companies are now venturing into it which is why I believe that the growth is now more firm compared to what we have before and that could be the reason why Bitcoin break the resistance and set its new ATH. Finally, after we been through we finally saw Bitcoin reaching the $20k mark and it keeps growing.
It's really terrible when seeing the price of bitcoin can reach a price of more than $20k because if you look at its history this is the latest high price of bitcoin, I am very afraid bitcoin will collapse again because I see demand from this year is very different, few people are interested in bitcoin but strangely can have this expensive price.
Indeed. Most of us here are terrified that bitcoin's price will collapse again, just like what happened in 2017; that is why I am temporarily stopped buying bitcoin for now because I don't want to experience the same thing that happened to me at that time. But this year is very different because many big companies are having a huge interest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that mass adoption is really happening, so there are chances that bitcoin will stay on its $20K price until the next year of 2021.
Many of us learned from the mistakes back then, we really didn't expect the downfall after reaching the ath in 2017. So right now, it's better to play safely in the market, you might lose a lot if made a mistake for not trading it. I have similar mistakes in the bull run 2017, that's why I'm applying it right now, it's better not to be greedy. If we know that we already gained a lot, doubled or tripled, it's time to assure your profit, don't wait for an unexpected downfall.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: December 22, 2020, 11:57:39 PM
In this forum, we do not have gender that need to be shown. There should be no distinction between male and female here same as no discrimination both gender. If the admin on the forum wants to distinguish male and female then the account itself would specify by having a profile picture but this is not the case. We the bitcoiners does not  have any issue with gender but yes we do love any women to join in bitcoin.
Agree, as long as we invest and making money on cryptocurrency, gender doesn't matter. In any case, every work is not just applicable to one gender as long as we want to grind and earn more money. People are just into discrimination that's why there's a huge gap between it. If people aren't judgemental then prolly, there's a huge change in crypto, not just only here but in different jobs and opportunities. \

I know plenty of women that show interest in cryptocurrency and I don't have a problem with that, people with negative mindsets are just ruining things.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk on Bitcoin: "Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money" on: December 22, 2020, 11:51:36 PM
Probably trolling, his tweet doesn't make sense, he's just trolling those people who have bought bitcoin and waiting for it to go up.

Also, it's not that big deal, people on social media shouldn't take as a huge influence even they're elites of the elites, on the flow of any currency in the market.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: December 22, 2020, 11:37:12 PM
There are more usage opportunities of Bitcoin in Africa if the African's will stand in one and accept the cryptocurrency to boost their economy and make them buoyant. Africans' problems are from their ground Fathers, hope they will embrace the technology and move faster with the tech for a better eye opener.

I really impressed with Africa and Africa government is very great, because they do accept the bitcoin, it meant, the government want that their people use bitcoin and crypto currency and promote it and in this wise, the other governments will see it and their learnt from Africa and may be and hopefully they will be do something like Africa's government to allow their people to use crypto currency and earn from it.
Actually, the Africa government has done many projects like an adaptation of the use of cryptocurrency, it's a great opportunity for them to take part in this modern technology and market. Countries from 3rd world countries will learn that cryptocurrency will give a boost to their economy. We should be progressive each year, adaptation on what's the modern should be constant because if there's a huge gap, we the people will suffer into this.

Like now, countries like US and China have different payment systems that we should imitate for us to have transactions and negotiations with other people on different countries that will develop our economy.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin FAILED? on: December 22, 2020, 10:57:03 PM
Bitcoin has come into many places and already dominating the market so I guess that Bitcoin does not fail. If you check the chart right now, you'll know that bitcoin is still growing and keep resisting to have a new ATH. And what are you saying that average people can afford to buy it? Bitcoin is very expensive right now as it grows at a low price but you can even buy it on decimals and make it grow.

Some of the known elites in the world are now appreciating the potential of bitcoin and adopting the use of it, so it's a huge success for bitcoin this year 2020.

Been enjoying this campaign, hopefully they'll get back  Grin

Thanks Hhampuz  Wink
If so, remove your signature and avatar because if many users want to use it for free then the campaign cant proceed immediately (maybe). I remember Hhampuz telling people about this idea at another of his campaign, I forgot about that campaign. Never affraid losing your place as the manager will usually consider you a previous participant in the campaign, but only if you re-register at the time of the announcement.
Oh thanks for the reminder. It will be a free promotion since we have existing posts in the forum where the signature can be seen. I'm glad that @Hhampuz will still consider the old participants when the campaign continues so I guess there's nothing to worry about removing it.
871  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 01, 2020, 03:31:13 AM
@Timelord2067

I did see the BPIP DT changes & asu’s ~ fest. I had to drag my balls in there & ~ him too.

Looks like  has changed their mind about distrusting asu:

Did you see this post or this other post?
Another issue? I distrusted him last night, I don't know why he's not on my distrust list right now. It's just a couple of minutes.
I already updated my list again.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability on: November 30, 2020, 08:37:09 PM
I've studied a lot of it during my college days in the subject of Probability and Statistics. It's easy to determine each probabilities but tbh, it's not that big deal.

Even if you have worst cards in poker, you can still win since the game doesn't based on luck only but in skills too. That's why I like poker, it's very different from other card games.
873  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: November 30, 2020, 08:11:04 PM
I feel sad for you, a lot of BTC loss this year. I supported the flag.

Last month (Nov. 2) he paid a lender on our local, maybe there's still a chance. There are possibilities that he could be a victim of the recent typhoon here in PH or affected by the pandemic, but I don't think they will consider that reason since he hasn't paid any amount since January, already 11 months.

3ByTmVLLd6hrjtT6trwG9C1aziEmbTkZAH (coins.ph) is his wallet. Coins.ph is a custodial wallet so you have a good chance to know his identity. it seems that finaleshot2016 had a transaction with him.
Yeah, that's the time he covered the loan and it's not only with me, he got a lot of transaction in different users in our local. If coins.ph can disclose the owner of that wallet, then it's possible to get his identity and contact him but I don't have any idea if coins.ph will do that since it'll be a long process and more papers, try to contact their support-help@coins.ph.
874  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: asu's loan default on: November 30, 2020, 07:35:54 PM
Sobrang unexpected nito, same case kay tym but we're not still sure kung hindi na ba talaga siya nakakapagbayad pero mukhang matagal ng hindi bayad dahil january pa. 0.3BTC ay hindi biro, masyadong mahirap ipunin lalo na't kung ang inaasahan mo lang is btc campaign.

1-2 months na lack of communication, di mo maiisip na may ibang pinagdadaanan since ang last message is magbabayad na daw ng full then naging inactive.

It will serve as a lesson to all of us about how much ang irerequest nating loan at kung kaya ba natin agad ito bayaran.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: November 30, 2020, 07:07:02 PM
Oh nice, you're very lucky that you have a school that teaches about Bitcoin, it's pretty rare since some school doesn't adopt any modern applications, always teaching the traditional applications in subjects. I guess in the near future, most of the universities will now teach about bitcoin especially the blockchain, which is next-gen technology.

This is a huge start for bitcoin and it might get stronger if many people adopted the use of it. Also, it's a great opportunity for them since some of us are struggling to learn about it and they're learning it at a school with modules. If they've learned it early, you guys can innovate something or create a development for cryptocurrency.
876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social Media Comment with link investment on: November 30, 2020, 06:28:03 PM
I've noticed that a lot on Facebook, the comment section of any popular platforms is full of spams of investment scams. They're taking advantage of those popular platforms and Facebook should make an action on these spammers because many can be a victim on this. Always ask someone that is knowledgeable enough in this kind of scheme, always find assurance on any things where you're investing.

Social media platforms are commonplace for scammers and various scams are happening here because many people are still uneducated on different kinds of scams. If you've seen something like this, warned your relatives since we're lucky that we have this kind of knowledge to avoid being scammed.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitter accounts of crypto gambling sites on: November 30, 2020, 05:33:26 PM
The list is great, it can be used for updates on any promo or benefits of a gambling platform.

Of course, gamblers wanted some freebies and giveaways and their way to give those is through social media platforms such as Twitter.

Also, It's very helpful to save these Twitter accounts to avoid some fake accounts that imitate these popular gambling platforms to scam people.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 30, 2020, 03:38:03 PM
Valorant eSports update:

Since I'm too excited to bet on the esports tournament of Valorant, I look for a gambling platform and found this website where we can bet in Valorant that accepts cryptocurrency: https://unikrn.com/bet/games/valorant

Riot Games have already announced the championship system of Valorant.
Valorant Challengers --> Valorant Masters --> Valorant Champions

The start of the qualifier is March 2021, the date of the second qualifier is June 2021 and the last is September 2021.
Watch the full video here— https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Eo2qszu3Jo so you can understand how the system works, they're implementing a lot of tournaments.
879  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gambling Platform with Signature Campaigns in Forum on: November 30, 2020, 01:12:16 PM
Nice information bud, all of the signature campaigns of popular gambling platforms in this forum are included.

Also, there's an existing thread about it, not just gambling platforms but all of the existing sig campaigns in here. And the last time I checked it, it's still updated. Check here—Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns

There's already a general overview thread for signature campaign paying in BTC here in the forum. It might be a redundant thread since most the campaign listed on the OP is already there unless you have something to discuss about the campaign of casino here in the forum. I understand your point that this is for casino campaign already. Just want to brought up that there is a general campaign thread in ever you didn't know.  Smiley

Signature Campaign List thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
I think OP is making a different list than the old and well known thread.
OP is trying to list all the gambling Site that have a signature campaign the other list is about a campaign that pays with BTC.
Make sense, but when it comes to campaigns, participants don't choose where to join, it doesn't matter if it's a mixer sig camp or gambling sig camp. I think this thread is for those gamblers who look for gambling platforms that spend a lot through promotions here in bitcointalk, it means that the gambling platform is very active and worthy to stay.

Maybe adding some reviews on diff gambling platforms might help a lot of people especially gamblers.
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: November 30, 2020, 07:01:30 AM
No doubt that VR is progressive technology, but I personally wouldn't want to gamble in VR mode. Speaking from personal experience, I think that VR is best for doing things you can never do in real life, like playing shooting games, fighting zombies, or flying, or boxing, etc. However, the whole visual thing can be distracting, so if we're talking, say, about playing poker - you might find yourself in an hour wishing to take off that helmet and get some rest, you won't be able to focus fully on the game.

I completely agree with you, but when I was reading your comment I came up with the following idea: players play poker in VR helmets and they see the pulse and pressure of other participants during the game. I think this would add a certain edge to the game and maybe even new bluffing strategies  Grin

Nice point, if you can feel that then you certainly used your experienced as an advantage. Playing pokers is more on skills and strategy, if you can actually feel those real life setups you can manage to use it as one of your tool to do what you think is going to favored you and allow you win over your opponents.

It's something that you can take as an edge while using VR right. Technology keeps evolving you need to find ways to adjust and keep yourself finding good advantages and possibilities.
Agree to it, VR is a new technology and is used in the gaming industry but as a gamer, it's not interesting for me but wants to experience it. You can use VR if you're comfortable using it and if you feel confident while on a VR mode in gambling, it might get you a win. So at the end of the day, it will always depend on the person, elite gambler or normal gambler can use it if they found it helpful in their gambling experiences. Most people disagree with this innovation and stating that it's useless but I realize that some are looking at this kind of technology especially those people who don't have confidence in gambling. We shouldn't take it as a not-helpful device or not-needed especially when we didn't experience it yet.
