Are you running version .0.9.4 or higher?

If not, you WILL have issues. I currently have three daemons running on two servers, all with no issues, all synced from zero. One is the block explorer at http://gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org:3001/, the other is the daemon for the pool at gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org/GMC/public, both of which can be publicly viewed. My personal wallet as well, syncs without issue. If the version number is correct, then I really don't know. I'm making a bootstrap very soon (later today) and will see to it that you have the link. But it should sync from zero without issue, other than it will occasionally freeze in the ~500,000 range, in which case restarting the daemon cures it. It might do that two or three times before fully syncing, but that's the ONLY issue I've had, and frankly haven't seen that since we got the client generally released last week.

Of course. We intend to be as transparent as possible, but when things are being negotiated, jumping the gun on announcements tends to have a detrimental effect on the negotiations. If you haven't already, enable coin control and look at the date. March 27th is not yet mature, it's a thirty day cycle. If you have coins that are older than 30 days, look at their weight and how long it's been. It generally can take up to a week to stake, though TEK is usually quicker than that.

We're already in talks with some of them. Response has been guardedly positive so far. We are ALWAYS open to suggestions from the community. Community makes a huge difference in the lifecycle of a cryptocurrency. Doge had really nothing to offer, no innovation and ridiculous production, but you couldn't avoid it because it's proponents were EVERYWHERE, having fun. Somewhat annoying at times. We have a lot to offer, so if we could gather that kind of crazy devotion, we'd be the in game currency for all games in not time

could very well be. If I remember correctly, they run the same front end I do. MPOS. It's probably the most operator friendly pool software there is, unless the MySql files get screwed up. Stratum, which is a separate program, will keep pluggin' along. It sometimes takes a lot of tweaking to get MPOS back online if something goes south in one of it's database tables. Nothing gets lost, and it eventually can be put right (which is also pretty good for pool software!) but it can be a cast iron bitch to fix.

I learned to set it up because solomining just don't work for me. No matter how many people have tried to help, I cannot make an asic mine to my wallet. Don't know what the hell I've done wrong, but in sheer frustration I learned to build pools Not much difference between solo mining and pool mining if you're the only one on the pool. And unlinke solo mining, all I gotta do is point cgminer to the right ip. Pretty easy when it's "localhost:3333". Taking them "live" is a bit more complex, due to security issues, but once it's set up and debugged, MPOS pretty well takes care of itself as long as you keep an eye on it.

That is my pool. No idea what's going on with coin-miners, but they always used to be a decent outfit. Hopefully they got all updated. Meantime, the GMC pool listed above is working just fine, and we could definitely use more miners. Thanks for the Plug, jonesd

I'm probably speaking out of turn here, but have you considered taking a shot at it yourself? Forking the github repo is a once click thing, and you could play around and see what happens. I'm not a programmer, and I've started doing this as I have time. Which isn't a lot, but it's interesting to try. And if you're successful, you are part of the development.

To my knowledge, we do not have a full time coder in this project, but several who are occasionally willing to help. Defaced, Noise23, and Presstab have all contributed at various times, and Tranz has reviewed code as well. I would personally like to see Coinsolidation have a go at it, and rebase it to BTC core if it can be done. He just did that on a project I'm part of, GameCredits, and it's a very nicely functioning wallet. I'm not sure how well that would work with a coin descended from Novacoin, but I don't know that it wouldn't either.
