nice green candles, though to be accurate, you need 46 more...

Happy b-day, bones.  Wink

I was wondering how you guessed my age. However, it looks like I posted my age a year ago. Oh well, thanks to equifax, some hackers have all of my info anyway.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2019, 01:10:54 AM
Just got back from my small B-day lunch at my Mom's. Thanks for all of the good birthday wishes. I see the market still over 4000. Smiley I'm fresh out of smerits at the moment so +2 WOsmerits to those that didn't get a party favor.

883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 23, 2019, 06:14:16 PM
Nice green candles to go on top of my cake on my special day. Smiley
884  Other / Meta / Re: [UPDATED February 16] LoyceV's Trust list viewer on: February 23, 2019, 01:37:18 AM

that wouldn't make much sense.... not really know tmpf and owcatz and be distrusted by them...
but why would d_eddie  ever really distrust me? Roll Eyes
he won something and got paid by me .... (or maybe i did something else wrong never know of-course)

They may have distrusted you because the only trust comments that you have given so far are positive. Some people want people on their trust list that call out scamming behavior. Not sure if this is the case with the three people that distrusted you, though.
885  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1-election: Rank up pipeline on: February 23, 2019, 01:20:25 AM
People with less than 250 merit don't like me.  Cry

86. bones261 (321 Merit earned) is included by 8 users with 250+ earned Merit and 0 users with 10-249 earned Merit.

See, it's not just me.  I'm still now sure how you ended up on my distrust list, and now that I'm getting closer 250 I find myself liking you more and more.

It must be the merit sauce...  I like it dry, with two olives.

I hope to keep serving it up, just as you like it.  Wink

can't figure all out of whats happening here Roll Eyes

Even if I pretend to know what's going on, TBH I'm as confused as hell, too. Almost the same felling that I get when I read a scientific article on Wikipedia and I get to the sections with all of the equations.  Cheesy
887  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1-election: Rank up pipeline on: February 22, 2019, 10:35:46 PM
It’s all very complicated, I’m not desperate to get onto DT1. It wouldn’t change me much as a poster. I’d still contribute in the same way I have since 2014.

Disclaimer: I think that I explained it to you properly. However, I'm still quite a bit confused by it as well.
888  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1-election: Rank up pipeline on: February 22, 2019, 10:23:30 PM
Where does this put me, anybody shed some light on it? Will I be on DT with the next update?

40. LFC_Bitcoin (455 Merit earned) is included by 9 users with 250+ earned Merit and 6 users with 10-249 earned Merit

Probably. You will need to maintain the following thresholds.
10 votes from people with 10+ merits. You have 15. However, votes only go to the people who most need it. If the person has more than 1 person per 10 merit on their custom trust list.
2 votes from people with 250+ merits. You have 9. However, votes only go to the people who most need it. If the person has more than 1 person per 250 merit on their custom trust list.
If you make it to the DT1 list. Then the number of other DT1 members who have you on the trust list must exceed or be equal to the number that distrust you. If more distrust you, then you are not DT1, until that changes.
Oh, and by the way. For someone to be able to vote for you on the 10 merit or 250 merit level, any merit that you gave to that person doesn't count. So if someone has you on the trust list with 12 merits and you gave them 3, their vote cannot go to you for the 10 merit level. Or if someone has 262 merits and you gave them 13, their vote cannot go to you for the 250 merit level.

Just so you know, you are already on DT2 because Bill gator has you on his trust list and he is DT1.
889  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: “World’s first unhackable device” on: February 22, 2019, 10:00:56 PM
The Bitfi wallet was just bad. It was nothing but a glorified brainwallet. It would only be as secure as the password that you came up with. We all know that under most circumstances a brainwallet really isn't that secure since any password that a person can remember probably does not have the required entropy. It didn't help that people were also able to easily change the firmware on the device. I'm not certain if this could have been done remotely, though.

OK, I see. Locking thread.

891  Other / Archival / Is jeffersonairplane account for sale? on: February 22, 2019, 06:08:14 AM
Today I came across this thread selling an account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5108676
Quote
As topic says, I have legendary account for sale.
Including everything ! Email, stacked address, private key off the address, original email and everything needed
20 green trust ! 280 sMerit
This is the very best account at that price you can find anywhere!
It is not inactive, so there won't be any suspicious for inactivity.
Price is 650$ and it is not negotiable.
We all know how hard is it to earn Legendary nowdays, especially with green trust and that kind of merit.
Proof of the account: http://prntscr.com/mjok1d

*Everything needed is included in the text file.

The proof of account leads to this screenshot

If you look at the redacted name, you will notice that the tops of two small f s appear in the name. I check BPIP.org and only found these legendaries with registration date in February 2012

jeffersonairplane seems to be the only account that fits the bill. I am leaving neutral trust for now on jeffersonairplane account.

Hello, I am new at these raffles. How long do we usually wait for all of the seats to get filled? Indefinitely? I guess that is why I see other people reserve a spot but do not pay in the other raffles until more spots get filled. Live and learn.
893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 21, 2019, 06:13:03 AM
Meh, breakthrough to 4000 rejected.  Cry
894  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Bitcointalk.org collectible coin? on: February 21, 2019, 06:09:44 AM
Never mind Silver.

It seems only proper that any limited offering be minted on, at least 99%+ Au.

Bitcoin is ultimately looking to supplant Au.

It's poetic.

... personally, I would wish for Platinum, but recognize reality being what it is.

How about we make it from jade instead? And instead of the shape of the coin, we will make it the shape of your favorite green object.  Cheesy

896  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated thread deletion count not updating. on: February 20, 2019, 06:50:55 PM

This count has been stuck for a while. Am certain there have been deletions since that tally.

Maybe they weren't deleted by the thread starter?  Have you tried to reproduce on one of your self-moderated threads (assuming you have one)?

The moderators very rarely delete anything in the Wall Observer thread. The moderators are deliberately hands off. They changed the "thread starter" a couple years back to infofront since the original OP was no longer active. The moderators had temporarily locked the thread a couple years back because it was a nightmare to moderate. Infofront was appointed to moderate the thread. When you try to report a post to the moderators, you get a big disclaimer that states they don't moderate off-topic, double posts, etc etc.
897  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda breaking forum rules ? on: February 20, 2019, 02:31:04 AM
OP can always contact iTech Labs and ask them about RNG certificates of certain sites. Actually, I am not sure what OP is trying to do here. Ban Lauda, ban advertisers, ban gambling sites...ban everyone?

The primary purpose was to get Lauda banned, or at least removed from DT. When it was pointed out to Thule that even Bitcointalk.org has a banner add for a gambling site, it switched to a campaign to ban gambling advertising. However, even if theymos implemented a ban, (which he won't,) I'm sure that he would give people plenty of warning so they could remove their sig advertisement. I'm sure Theymos doesn't want to ban a substantial amount of users on this forum.

899  Economy / Lending / Re: [[LOAN REQUEST]] 0.5BTC to 1BTC with Collateral - Repay on the 15/03 on: February 19, 2019, 10:09:50 PM
@OP. 1st of all, most people are not going to give you a BTC loan here with real world goods. It's a big hassle to transfer these items to their control. 2nd, it's not considered good collateral if you had previously offered it up for sale. If you need a loan and want to offer real world goods as collateral, it is probably best to just go to a pawn shop rather than here.

Confirmed! Welcome back Smiley

I've left a neutral tag as reference. You may want to remove all posts that you didn't make, so you won't get banned for plagiarism later on.

Ok i'll do that after i come home, i'll remove all thats posts. Thank you so much for all DT members who help me with negative trust until this account back to me and remove that now, thanks to bitcointalk community and recovery team.

Edit : already did. all not my original posts deleted except 2 topic where i cant delete because that topic started by this account.
How to delete that i dont know, may be i just lock that posts.

And now reported that 2 posts to moderator.

Lock the thread and also edit the Op statement to state something like "deleted." You can also move it to archive as well.
