901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was ripped off on: October 16, 2023, 09:15:48 PM

I don't think the guy actually owns the car but the plates on the car are New Jersey - 12845QQ and he gave me a name of Damon Eden
That's pretty bad if you didn't see him live on cam we can't able to trace if he provided a fake name and plate number but you still need to provide this to the police department or try to report the scammer on this link below then present all information that you mentioned here including the name and plate number they can maybe able to contact Damon Eden and trace who owns the plate number  "Jersey - 12845QQ".

I think this is what you are looking for - 7ff518aae3b8c95c530410aff6c37601c8a3cfda65cd960c3ad63a0551ac57a6

There's no way to reverse this transaction it has already had 454 confirmations. Only 0 confirmation can still be reversible.

How did you find this guy?
If you have more other info than wallet ID and transaction you can maybe still able to find that guy.
Like the full name or a plate number of the car if the guy gives you some pics of this car?
903  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet would you recommend? on: October 16, 2023, 08:29:13 PM
I downloaded the Windows installer on my PC, and the app on my cellphone, so I will start with this.
We'll see how it goes.
Have a great day

Would you mind to tell us what name of your cold wallet is?
So that we can give you a guide on how to connect your hardware wallet to Electrum.

About creating a wallet on Electrum you can follow this guide below.

904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: same XMR(payout) on 2 different machines on: October 16, 2023, 12:16:48 AM
You should move this to the altcoin mining section this section is for Bitcoin mining support.

I think you are pointing to the reward being sent to the same wallet?

The image shows both miners mining on the same blocks so I think you are pointing to the rewards that are on the same transaction.

I think that's normal if both miners mined in the same block you should still be rewarded depending on how many shares you submit.
905  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Confusion please help out mate on: October 15, 2023, 11:31:51 PM

Please all I want to know Is the basics and how can I benefits from this Bitcoin that is exploding everywhere.
There are lots of ways to get benefits in Bitcoin you can start by buying and holding Bitcoins I don't think you still need a book to read by just holding BTC but for safety, you need to learn how to make a cold storage wallet check this link below.

Or if you want to be a developer then there is a good source to learn about developing Bitcoin check this link below also don't forget to scroll down to the bottom for more books to learn about Bitcoin.

906  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S17 produce only discarded shares on Braiins with stock firmware on: October 15, 2023, 10:55:27 PM
Braiins says there is no problem.
In the meantime, all S17, also the S17e are not able to mine. They produce only discarded shares.

Any other ideas?
I couldn't think of any other reason why.
How about the pool ping? You might have a slow internet connection that leads to share submission delays.

Or maybe your current network is infected bitmain has a solution to this you can check the link below or use APtool to scan your network and miners.

I hope that you can share your miner's status screenshot here to give us some clues.

Take note claiming free BTC from the faucet is not a job if you are looking for a job I think you can earn $2 from captcha typing.

I worked on some of them before like 2Captcha, megatypers, and Qlinkgroup they paid me in BTC. I don't know if they still have a BTC payment option so check for yourself.

If you have some skills you can also check this link

Or I think you can try to promote referral links from exchanges like Binance which offers a 40% commission for every trade that your referral/friend made.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core, avoid_reuse on: October 15, 2023, 04:23:29 PM
By default, avoid_reuse is set to true so I think it should show all balances on the GUI have you checked if the Bitcoin core is fully synced?

Or I think if it does not show all balances can you import manually those addresses (reused addresses) in the GUI?
You can use this command on the console

Code:
importpubkey "mypubkey"

Alternatively, if your purpose is just to monitor your wallet addresses why not use 3rd party tool like this link below to check all balances

909  Other / Meta / Re: Post was deleted from local thread, what is the possible reason? on: October 15, 2023, 01:58:01 PM
I translated the deleted posts but this type of post most likely be deleted by mods because it's off-topic.

Since your local section only has one thread make sure to post only related to Crypto. I believe someone reported your post about the self-moderated topic, I don't think OP deleted your post what I believe is your post was reported to mods which is why the PM you receive tells you that it was deleted by the forum moderator, not the OP.
So you don't need to create a new thread just to discuss off-topic you can directly go to our off-topic section.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Miningcore help ?? Sha256Asicboost not supported ? on: October 15, 2023, 10:14:29 AM
This is the first time that I heard of Miningcore are you trying to host a pool?
I found miningcore on Github if the algo is sha256d then it only mines altcoin that supports sha256d not bitcoin.

If I were you bring your issue to the MiningCore developers if you want any help on how to add more algo in MiningCore.

Check this link below you might get some idea of how to add coins and algo.

911  Other / Meta / Re: Inquiry on: October 15, 2023, 12:29:34 AM
You might be pointing to put your post or thread into the watchlist because if you talking about bookmarking then the browser already has this feature to bookmark a page.

If this is the reason why you can't go back to every thread you made then you can just click the watchlist here on the forum.
Once you click it, It should show all active threads where you made a thread or post.
912  Other / Meta / Re: It is bad to use AI to help my post quality improve? on: October 14, 2023, 06:27:35 PM
I think there's no problem with using AI to correct your post's grammar just make sure that you didn't make posts plagiarized like the other said it's against the forum rules.
And take note if the posts you write are fully AI-generated then you might get tagged by DT members if someone reports your post as AI-generated.

If I were you like others said in previous posts above use Grammarly because as you said before you just need to correct your grammar and punctuation then why not use Grammarly? Unless you need something more that Grammarly can't provide?
913  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New control board for s17pro not working. on: October 14, 2023, 05:03:45 PM
If you switch the miner to DHCP mode it would automatically change its IP based on your current network.
This means the IP that you are trying to access is no longer the IP of this unit you need to use the IP report button to scan the right IP of your unit.

If you don't know how to do it then follow this guide below.

914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Founder CZ said that, Copy trading now live on Binance. on: October 13, 2023, 11:51:30 PM
My country is not listed in the list you provided, and I was able to see the copy trading tab in the future section of my Binance app.

Maybe you will consider updating your Binance application, or if you are operating on the Binance Lite section of the Binance app, you should consider switching to Binance Pro; that's where I found the copy trading tab.
My Binance app is up-to-date and already set to Binance Pro but I don't have copy trading tab on my account.
I also tried to switch to the lite version and go back to Pro but still no copy trade.

Maybe I'm not lucky to have this feature and maybe it's only available to those who have big funds in their wallet?
915  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Help for the paranoid - how to transfer from Ledger to Seedsigner? on: October 13, 2023, 11:27:48 PM
It's not the best practice restoring seed phrases generated from another wallet is not safe.

If you still have control of the Ledger wallet I suggest create a new wallet on Sparrow offline for safety and send all funds from the Ledger wallet to Sparrow.

916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Free RPC username password on: October 12, 2023, 04:53:50 PM

a simple question can we add multiple username in bitcoin config ?

to access rpc and assigm them seprate wallets

So you want to develop a web wallet where users don't need to download a full blockchain with a separate wallet and want to manage them on a pooled single wallet with your node?

If it's for the RPC server then no it doesn't support multiple users you will need to develop software where you can track sent/received to each user and make sure that they can only spend BTC that belongs to their wallet address.
Or else you will need separate full nodes for each user but this will require more resources.

Since you mentioned you are planning to develop a marketplace why not use BTCpayserver for your users? It has a feature called "BTCPay Server Wallet".
You can find more details about this here https://docs.btcpayserver.org/Wallet/

Don't worry about hosting BTCpayserver you can run it with your PC and it requires a node but you don't need to download the entire blockchain, the minimum pruned is around 5GB according to their documentation.
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Founder CZ said that, Copy trading now live on Binance. on: October 12, 2023, 12:01:03 AM
Only verified users in eligible regions will be entitled to access Copy Trading
and participate in Educational Missions to earn rewards.

https://www.binance.me/id/support/announcement/binance-futures-meluncurkan-fitur-copy-trading-ef9c6f27dbee4cd78bb2738380889461

Maybe that's what you mean, but that rule existed when copy trading first started and was used as a challenge to earn rewards.
Maybe you are not verified or in a country where it is not allowed.

I'm a verified user but still, I couldn't find the copy trader tab on my Binance app.
I searched a bit they have a list of supported countries that have this feature copy trader my country is not listed there so that's the reason why I don't have this feature.

Here's the list for those who dom't know yet

918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Free RPC username password on: October 11, 2023, 11:51:31 PM
I couldn't find any but check this one https://chainquery.com/

Or I think if you don't have enough space in your PC why not use a cloud service or VPS hosting where you can install a full node and start your project there?

Aws is offering a free trial for 1 year I think and Google Cloud also offers $100 free credit that you can use to start a remote desktop.
919  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The right way to share a PrivateKey with a customer. on: October 11, 2023, 11:30:15 PM
In short, you are planning to develop a web wallet?

There are some ready-made web wallet which is open-source why not check it's code and apply the code to the web wallet you are planning to develop?

Here's the web wallet https://coinb.in/#wallet scroll to the bottom to find the the GitHub page.
The only difference is it requires an email and a password but once you create a wallet you can dump the private key there.
920  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AvalonMiner 1166Pro-72 on: October 11, 2023, 06:40:20 PM

Thank you for help.
I changed all cables but same issue.
Can an avalon machine work with one board? I would try to test board by board.

Nothing changed on the new logs.

I don't know if it would work with only one hashboard but you can try.
That's why I suggest it to test them one by one it might be similar to the Bitmains unit where you can run a unit with one hashboard.
