901  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: DITO stocks - dapat ba mag invest na DITO? on: November 23, 2020, 12:57:11 PM

There's a possibility na kapag bumili ka then waited for years, hindi lang x2 or x3, maybe sobra pa. But yeah, we have different preferences on how we will invest money and for some, they see new stocks as an opportunity to grow money in the future lalo na't alam mo yung takbo nung company nila.
902  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Union Bank Launches Blockchain Xcellerator Program on: November 23, 2020, 10:55:55 AM
Thanks for sharing this info, I've noticed na ang bilis maka-adopt ng Unionbank sa modern right now, ang smooth ng kanilang online banking and now they're offering a program about blockchain solutions and etc. 3k pesos for a program about blockchain solutions, architecture and security? I guess unti lang ang mag-iinvest sa ganitong program unless may malaking benefit once makapasa ka ng phase 3 like kukuhain ka mismo ng Unionbank. Mayroon din kasing ganito sa coursera and other platforms na nagooffer ng free courses, may certificate din naman yun and same benefit din na dagdag credentials sa portfolio mo.

Katulad nalang ng CCNA, I know some of you are familiar with it, once makapasa ka sa certification, you can work as a network engineer at malaki ang chance na sa cisco ka pa mag-work. So kapag nakapasa sila sa program na ito, sana may malaking benefit din sa kanila ito, like maging part ng blockchain/cryptocurrency department nila.
903  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: November 23, 2020, 10:21:19 AM
Mahirapan pa tayo mag-adapt jan sa "CASHLESS SOCIETY" internet connection nga natin hirap pa pabilisin... Hehe!

Di pa tayo handa.

ANG MAIPAPAYO KO LANG!

PAGHANDAAN NA NATIN ITO.

EARN MORE BITCOINS AND ALTCOINS.

Kapag dumating yung panahon na handa na ang Pinas sa Cashless Society. HANDA KA NA RIN!
Kapag cashless, all currency yan not only cryptocurrency but also fiat ang magagamit sa digital transaction sa isang cashless society. Yes, I agree with it, hindi pa tayo handa at tama ka sa sinabi mo na ang internet connection is one of the important things for implementing cashless society. Kasi kapag full cashless na talaga, meron na din dapat tayong public wi-fi which most of us can access freely at walang cap. Sa ngayon, unti palang naman ang may ganon at kung titignan mo sa provinces, imposibleng mangyari dahil mabagal nga talaga ang internet.

So probably, sa NCR palang mangyayari ito bago pa mangyari sa buong Pilipinas. Earn more bitcoins and altcoins ba? hindi lang naman cryptocurrency ang need sa transaction kasi pwede kang gumamit ng fiat, like what I've said, hindi lang sa cryptocurrency ito pag sinabing cashless.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2020, 03:41:31 PM
why is no one talking about Valorant's first strike tournament. <...>
well, for starters, the real deal starts in December. The qualifiers are ongoing but, from a gambling POV, there's not much to talk about, i mean, bookies are not even offering lines for the quali phase, so...

but maybe people will talk more about it next month. I think First Strike is the biggest Valorant tournament so far, i'll definitely keep an eye on this tourney, should give newbies like me a good idea about who are the current top teams to follow in upcoming tournaments.
No talks about it since many platforms still not adding valorant on their eSports betting, they don't see the potential on a game that a lot of players in NA, EU, and Asia. I keep waiting for this 'cause I want to bet on the teams that I think will win. Already have correct predictions since I know every player how they play and their mechanics on the game.

The first strike will definitely like Worlds of LoL, it's just starting, and probably during the international championship, gambling platforms will notice it and add it to the list.
905  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: November 22, 2020, 03:24:52 PM
This is when humanity comes to play. As human beings we not only have to be moral but actually obligated to to help each other during this need of the hour. But I feel, that bit only for this pandemic, there's some part of the world that lives under poverty in extreme difficulties and hence it is really important to help them as well even when there's no pandemic. If everyone who can afford to help helps, then we won't have any problems for decades!
We can help other people as long as that we can, during this pandemic even though I don't have extra money to help other, I use my learnings in college to teach other people whether it is for academic or here in crypto world, so far it is going well and they are aware what does the real bitcoin is and they are no longer believe in easy x10 money that usually use bitcoin in their ads.
The only thing we must do is to help each other even in simple ways, right now I'm helping my family with other expenses such as internet expenses during the pandemic. It's hard to find a job right now and since I have a lot of opportunities here in bitcointalk, I'm using it to help them, and thank God, the BTC price is still increasing.

Here in my country, we've experienced a lot of typhoons and add the current pandemic, many people are now suffering so it's best to help them even with simple donations. Many people are depressed right now and we must encourage them to be brave and motivate them to grind again and go back to their normal lives.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 22, 2020, 02:20:54 PM
The habit of gambling commonly same for a person in the situation of success when he get success in gambling it will be a habit for him in most of the time so getting your mind clear will help for get away from this but it will not been a bad habit

But if he uses gambling as a habit, he will get deeper into gambling, and in the end, he can become addicted to gambling. If he becomes addicted to gambling, it is very difficult to control himself to get out of gambling because his mind will think about gambling. You can play gambling, but don't use gambling as your habit because that will posses you to playing gambling without stop, even if your money is run out. I am sure that you don't want to become addicted to gambling, so you need to pay attention when playing gambling.
Gambling with cautious mind is more important whenever we are about to bet because even single bet can change the entire life in positive or negative depending on our luck and we can reduce the risk factor by keeping the bet amount under control. Important point is we have to keep our ego low when we are on losing streak it will give some room to make the right decision.
Agree, always keep control of the money and don't be greedy. Don't always think that you'll gonna win because you're blinded by a huge pot. When it comes to gambling, we should have a practical mindset that once you win, it's enough and always take advantage of the situation.

If you experience a losing streak then it's a sign to stop and cool down your mind, if you continue might give you a breakdown.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 22, 2020, 02:02:51 PM
It seems that the recovery of each countries' economy has a factor in the price of bitcoin but I doubt that it's the "main" reason for the price growth.

Still, there's no 100% assurance that the vaccine will work and doesn't have side effects if a whole nation didn't try it.

If this was true and have done a lot of trials before producing, then by 2021 mid-year, all economy might come back to normal. I hope that our governments spend more money into this so we can go back to work without worrying about the virus.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 22, 2020, 01:47:15 PM
Already played gambling during High school with my friends, of course, our intention is to just play since it is very thrilling and interesting, there's money on the line. Now, I'm playing gambling on online platforms, nothing serious and just playing for fun.

If I win huge money, probably gonna invest in something that I will use for the long run or maybe go for business. It's a once in a lifetime scenario and I'll make sure that the money will be spent wisely.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 22, 2020, 01:26:02 PM
Well, it actually depends if you like to play multiplayer or single games. There are people who usually play solo and don't want interaction with other people while some are good at interacting with people that's why they like multiplayer. I personally like multiplayer games, I can personally tell if the players in the lobby are good at it but sometimes if I'm not in the right mood, I prefer solo play.

Gambling is a money-risk game, it means that you need focus and doesn't want disturbance unless your purpose is to have fun and enjoy, I guess it'll fit on you.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 21, 2020, 07:44:35 PM
Actually, it's hard to make a very good meme on a complex thing such as crypto. I've already seen a lot of memes in crypto but it's not very impressive and I guess, investors will not be attracted to that. Well, this is my opinion but I think crypto doesn't need memes to get viral. Actually, cryptocurrencies are getting viral because of hacking. Many social media accounts like YouTube were being hacked just to promote a cryptocurrency, I know that the company is not the mastermind but it's because of their bounty.

Investors are very brilliant people and things like this wouldn't attract them since they have very deep humor about money.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how add security to our bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2020, 06:59:54 PM
If you are using platforms such as coinbase, I suggest keeping your device safe first because if you add any extensions like 2fa for additional security, you can't do anything once breached. Coinbase is a good platform for saving BTC and has a lot of users. If you don't have a lot of bitcoin then I think it's enough but if you have a lot of bitcoin then consider buying trezor hardware wallet, it's much more secured since you're the one holding it.

and btw, I'm using electrum for 2 years, nothing unusual happened to my wallet and of course, I keeping my computer a malware-free device.

913  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: November 16, 2020, 08:34:39 PM
This blog was really helpful.

I guess the all of the list are legit since coinbase is included. I also saw fiverr which is a great platform for those who have skills, haven't tried it yet but I know it's legit since many people here in my country are using it especially right now, it's hard to earn money. Google also was included so it is an assured that you can earn money through these applications. Thanks for sharing the blog, it will be a huge help to us especially to those who wants to grind for money since we are suffering on the pandemic.
914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I make 10 000$ month? on: November 16, 2020, 08:02:15 PM
10,000$ is a huge money mate, this forum isn't a social media platform with a google AdSense that gives revenue to your posts.

and besides, this platform isn't generally made for earning a profit, it's made purely for discussion about cryptocurrency so I doubt that there are users here who earning like that.
Maybe those people who're doing a daily jobs here with high pay rates such as campaign management.

Also, we shouldn't focus on earning money here, not a good mindset. But if not in here, maybe in gambling and you have 100% luck maybe you'll earn a lot  Cheesy
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the difference between Bitcoin and bitcoin? on: November 16, 2020, 07:39:47 PM
Thanks for the information but bitcoin will be always bitcoin. Well, honestly I don't give attention to any of this as long as we understand what it means. IMO, 3 years in my forum, it's not a big deal discussing with anyone here since they're getting what we mean by our statements.

Things are getting complicated and I don't want to make terms be complicated also.

As long as your thoughts about bitcoin was understandable, it's fine but still, it's a good find that there are differences between bitcoin and Bitcoin.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 16, 2020, 07:01:04 PM
Most crypto users are familiar with the HODL (Hold On for Dear Life). It's a good thing if you can HODL. I want to say HODL for dear life, not for lifetime. There is a reason why am I saying that. During the last bull run in 2017, I had more than enough funds to start a real life business by selling my Bitcoin. And to be honest, starting a real life business was too important for me since I was doing a job abroad. But sadly, I was greedy and had been waiting for more bumps. Eventually, I regret and now I can't do anything with that fund since bought a dew worthless shitcoin.

So if I HODL for dear life, then I should sell it for my need. Even I would won more BTC now since there were many opportunities when bitcoin dropped up to $3K.

What's your opinion? Should we HODL for Life or for Lifetime?
We should HODL for life, bitcoin will still give you another opportunity in the next bull run. Let's be practical on this, if you think that your money was doubled or tripled, and it will give you a good life, then it's enough already and sell it. The 2017 bull run serves as a lesson for us that we shouldn't be greedy and be more practical since it's an investment. I'm investing in bitcoin because I want to make a profit on it, and setting up a target price would be also good. Always check daily if you will still go on or if it's too much already, you're the only one who can assess it since only you know how much you've invested.
917  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 16, 2020, 06:24:44 PM
I have heard about that news but instead of being happy I felt disappointed because its price would be hard for a third world country like us to afford. It will only be affordable to rich countries. However, Covid-19 seems to be a normal thing these days. It isn't as scary as it was. People are now able to handle it better.
Yeah, probably our country will gonna have a loan again just to buy vaccines and our country will be stuck on debts. I don't think we will fully recover really fast after the vaccination, there is too much money to grind.

To be sincere I am tired of this Covid talk, there is more to Covid than it been reported in the news, everything has been hijacked by some power group, why was Chloroquine treatment rejected and this was proven effective in developing nations but in the developed world where lobbying and politics of the world is a big contest it was politicize. Good that the vaccines are coming up now and we can start 2021 with fresh hope
Well, sometimes I'm also tired of talking about COVID-19, it makes me depress but I realize that I should check more and hope for a better 2021. I don't want to live the rest of my life wearing a face mask and shield, COVID should be stopped and also to recover our economy and live normally again.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 16, 2020, 01:29:01 PM
I don't see any threats to bitcoin right now, it keeps increasing and resisting for a new all-time high. People are still using it and day-by-day, the users of it are increasing and the community is growing. Many people are putting trust in bitcoin right now because they see the potential of it in the future.

For now the threat can occur because of the vaccine from Covid19,
we know the impact of the pandemic on cryptocurrencies is very big, it has been seen in the increase in the price of Bitcoin,
news that in 2021 a vaccine is ready to be distributed to the world, for cryptocurrencies of course it is still a mystery,
but This is just my speculation, because the vaccine is available everyone returns to their normal life and people readyto sell their investment.
I don't think so. It just shows that even with or without a pandemic, bitcoin can resist. So even there's a cure to COVID-19, bitcoin will be the same 'cause it's not a huge factor for it's development. The proof? well, the current price is already at $16k.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 16, 2020, 12:08:04 PM
why is no one talking about Valorant's first strike tournament. This tournament was organized by the developers which is Riot games, it's a regional qualifier similar to League of Legends that has LCS, LCK, LEC, and LPL. First Strike in NA was already finished, and FS in other region is currently on the go.

or maybe there are only a few people who know Valorant or don't really like it? It's a fun FPS game, the competition is quite great and I'm looking forward to discuss and share my thoughts on every game since I'm watching all Valorant tournaments in NA.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 11:55:57 AM
Casinos are business and they will continue to make money every gambler plays. People think they can beat Casinos but rather they are victims of their greed, the feeling that you had already won but your not contented then you want to gamble more hoping to multiply you winnings but it in the end you’ve just lost it all.

casinos are not just a business but they also care for other people and to the economy of the country they are living because some of those casinos are donating money or cryptos to the people in need and also paying tax to the government properly and the rest of the earnings is thiers for them to keep .

when a gambler win more than his capital he already beat a casino and if that is his only goal he must stop because playing in the long run is always in favor for the casinos .
Long run mentality should be more in entertainment, don't think casino as a money-making work is not a good idea. It'll definitely lose you more money and more time being wasted without earning. I agree that casino isn't just a business that purposely grabs the gambler's money, they're big contributors in the economy and also helps to develop our society.

We are losing money because it's our fault, casinos aren't the one who should blame for our actions. As long as there is greed on your heart, it will definitely destroy you, be contented that you're already enjoying the game, that's why it's created for.
