901  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tarot reading for Crypto on: May 15, 2023, 03:04:02 AM
Well I would never pay a tarot card reader to give me economic price predictions. I think this is like scammers trying to take advantage of hard working people. I would not trust them for any kind of financial advice and would not waste my time with these people.

Beware because these so-called tarot readers will say something just for money. And not only this they will try to prey on people who are desperate for positive news and good financial advice. They will read your future and give you financial advice that you want to hear.
902  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: May 15, 2023, 02:16:04 AM
Well my Bitcoin price predictions has not been very accurate if I am going to be honest. I predicted a price of BTC to be 100k by the end of 2022. So maybe I am not the best for this price prediction. But even then I am still remaining 'bullish'.

The year 2024 is still a far time away in terms of crypto. And I think it there is good chance price will be closer to 100k. My prediction is that in the year 2024 the price of 1 btc will be 50k to 100k in price.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: May 14, 2023, 07:22:50 AM
The CEO of Ripple Brad Garlinghouse believes the US government lawsuits against the company will end in the 3rd quarter of this year. I think there will be a lot of people buying more xrp when the US government drops case saying XRP is a security.

I am still hodling onto my XRP and will buy some more when this happens. https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2023/05/xrp-ripple-ceo-garlinghouse-predicts-sec-lawsuit-resolution-by-end-of-q3-2023/
904  Economy / Economics / Re: Concers About Going in Business with a Friend on: May 14, 2023, 06:46:53 AM
Yes it would be very concerning for me going into business with my friend. If two friends are putting money to do a project and at first they assume all the risk that whatever money they are putting together to do this project is to make a profit.
But instead, the project ends up costing more than what was expected and one of the friends bails out of their commitment to fund the project. And the other is stuck with the bill to pay for the cost of the project.
It would become a difficult issue to have to deal with it and would ruin not only a partnership but a friendship. If you need to do this, have a business plan so that when you are ready you don’t have to rely on that friend and have to put a friendship in jeopardy.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Osmosis or Tezos? on: May 14, 2023, 06:13:16 AM
Well I have staked Tezos before in the past. I would not think it is a good idea to do now but I am more familiar with Tezos project then I am with Osmosis.
And Tezos is its own network. And this can not be said the same about Osmosis. The marketcap for Tezos is $824 million and the marketcap for Osmosis is only $312 million. I would invest in Tezos instead of Osmosis for that reason just right there.
And I am nervois about staking a token that rewards 20% it just seems like it is too much.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market on: May 14, 2023, 05:58:08 AM
Investing in the stock market is like investing in anything else. When it comes to investing in the stock market if you are not prepared to accept the possible losses then you should risk your money. Take the time to investigate on how the stock market works and when is a good time to invest.
If you are worried about losing money and think it can be very bad, then investing in the stock market is not for you. You must accept the risk that you are taking when getting into the stock market.
It is like Bitcoin where it can be 'bullish' and 'bearish' so be prepared and take the time to consult a stock broker or financial adviser.
907  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mobile Devices with Malware Pre-infection Attack on: May 14, 2023, 02:22:06 AM
Well it feels that every day I get a text message that is a spam text message. It is sometimes from a person and it is sometimes from a big company like Amazon or a clothing store. It is a text message saying I have won a contest or a text message trying to give me something for free.

I have felt tempted to click the links but I will never do this. I did always think to myself that we can not get a virus on mobile devices. My friend says he got a virus on his tablet from some link he clicked. This scares me because I did not think it was possible.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: May 14, 2023, 01:48:00 AM
Do Kwon has been released on bail in Montenegro. His bail amount is $436,000 and this is 2 months after being arrested trying to fly to UAE with a fake passport.

If we are being honest this does not surprise me. He is so rich and he has so many connections. https://thenewscrypto.com/do-kwon-to-be-released-following-436000-bail-approval/
909  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to teach a child to save? on: May 14, 2023, 01:34:36 AM
Well my nephews each get a allowance from their parents each week. To get this allowance they must complete their house chores like helping out with cleaning dishes and taking care of the pet dogs and cats.
It is important for them to learn how to save money from a young age. It is their own money to spend but I make sure to teach them importance of saving. This means just not spending all on video games and going out to the movies with friends.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: May 14, 2023, 01:17:26 AM
The new Twitter CEO named Linda Yaccarino is following Shiba inu and Dogecoin. I think this is 'bullish' news for people that are hodling these 2 meme coins.

Does this mean Twitter is going to accept the meme coins sometime?  https://crypto.news/incoming-twitter-ceo-linda-yaccarino-follows-shiba-inu-dogecoin/
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: May 09, 2023, 07:03:04 AM
Well this is a big turn of events now. SBF is asking his Judge to drop all the criminal charges against him from FTX case. The charges of securities fraud or money laundering he did not ask to be dropped.

Will this man only get charged for these small crimes? https://www.reuters.com/legal/indicted-ftx-founder-sam-bankman-fried-urges-court-toss-charges-2023-05-09/
912  Other / Off-topic / Re: John Wick 4 on: May 09, 2023, 06:10:32 AM
The saga continues with its legacy, John Wick 4 is open in the box office, and I cannot wait to see it. My friends are saying it has lots of action scenes. I cannot believe that the main characters, John Wick, Keanu Reeves, are still the same since 2014. The man looks the same from John Wick 1 and just does not look like he ages much.

Will this killer assassin finally close out the series as we all have waited years for the release. It is a movie for me its worth to pay the admission to the cinemas. I can watch it for free online but want to see it on the big screen with loud stereo audio.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: May 09, 2023, 04:36:18 AM
XRP has been in legal battles for past 2 years. It does not bother them because the CEO of ripple Brad Garlinghouse says XRP is going to expand to the UAE.

Major factor is because of the consumer base and regulatory development in the middle east. https://bitcoinist.com/just-in-ripple-ceo-weighs-company-expansion-dubai/
914  Other / Off-topic / Re: Birthday celebration. on: May 09, 2023, 04:06:18 AM
Celebrating birthdays annually have always been important to me. As it is just another day to get older. What matters to me is the milestone years. To some it may be an argument, but it might be a taking from your pocket if you celebrate every year.

Alongside that, having a family can be costly purchasing presents for everyone.   Like 13th birthday, a celebration to start teenage years. 16th celebrations of coming-of-age. 18th birthday when you became legal in most countries. Then after your 30th birthday its celebration recurs each decade.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion on Cardano on: May 08, 2023, 05:58:31 AM
Well Hydra has now gone live on Mainnet. It is long time awaiting level 2 scaling protocol that operates on top of the existing Cardano blockchain.

916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: May 07, 2023, 07:04:34 AM
Well I have put a lot of trust in my Bitcoin investment. It is my only investment so in many years I think I will be very happy that I did not sell any of my coins when there was a lot of fomo being spread on here and on the internet.
I do not think that Bitcoin will crash very low. But yes I am quite sure there is going to be many corrections still ahead of us. We must be patient with this and just know there are many years of profit and big gains for us who are patient.
But yes it is a good idea for your friend to join forum. If he does not want to join he can at least read up on Bitcoin. It is not for everyone but I think he will want to invest in it himself.
917  Other / Off-topic / How much will you run your AC? on: May 07, 2023, 06:20:44 AM
It is really expensive so do you ever run the AC on hot days? When it comes to running the AC, I was taught by the best, my dad would say it was too expensive. And it is very true because it can get pricey to run electricity, instead.
I was taught to open all windows throughout the day to ventilate the air in your home.  I also make plenty of ice to enjoy my cup of water or lemonade ice chilled. I also try to have plenty of water bottles stored in my freezer so that when I get thirsty my water will be refreshing.
I also take advantage of the free air that they have running at the mall and it’s a great way to not run your AC home and cool off. Afterward Ill head over to the gym where they also have the AC running all day and go swimming for 2 hours.
In the evening when I get home, I run my fans and the AC by the time I go sleep to stay cool at night and be able to get some rest. I make sure to program the AC to run only for 4 hours max. So take advantage of places like gyms, libraries, malls, grocery stores, and movie theaters.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - what is your plan when we reach $100k? on: May 07, 2023, 06:04:44 AM
Well it is nice to think about Bitcoin with a price of $100k. But even though I am 'bullish' I do not think this is going to happen for a few more years. Maybe I am wrong about this and I hope I am but at current rate it will not happen this year and probably next year after halving at soonest.
Bitcoin is my only long-term investment that I have. I am really hoping it will bring major profits since I have been hodling for long time now. I will sell some at 100k to be able to buy my first house or even buy a new car I always wanted.
Since Bitcoin is not a short-term or turnaround investment, and ideally don’t want to sell your Bitcoin but rather buy the dip. And watch over time with patience, you will be happy that you hold on and didn’t sell your Bitcoin.
919  Other / Off-topic / Re: School or Skills on: May 07, 2023, 05:12:59 AM
I strongly believe it is more important first to go to school to learn and obtain the necessary skills for the career that you want in your future. It would not surprise me if a young kid was so gifted and talented in playing soccer that he did not need any school means he will not need it in the future.
School is more important because you get to learn the basic skills that you will use in daily life for example reading, writing, and math. Even if you were taught the skill of hunting, fishing, and farming at some point you will have to you the skills taught in school to even do business.
Today the majority of office or administrative jobs require you to have a high school diploma or even a college degree. If you do some type of general labor, or construction jobs do not always require you to have any type of schooling.
However, these types of jobs are very hard on the body because they will require the use of your body by digging, picking up, pulling, walking, squatting, and constantly doing repetitive movements that will eventually take a strain on your body.
This is why our parents perhaps did not have the opportunity to go to school and get a degree. Always encourage me to go to school and get a degree and get a good career so that I will not be miserable stuck with a job that would not make me happy.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: May 07, 2023, 04:54:14 AM
Well I am now looking at Dino. Yesterday it had gains of 120% and it makes me think many people are interested in this project.

It just got listed on a exchange called Bitget. Bitget is worlds largest copy trading platform for crypto. https://www.bitget.com/en/support/articles/12560603784070

There is also rumor of connection with Dino and Elon Musk. https://in.investing.com/news/elon-musks-possible-connection-to-dino-token-sparks-interest-3630385
