941  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com is Down ? on: October 08, 2023, 06:14:29 PM
For now, their issue is related to DNS but the DNS provider is only offering monthly and annual subscriptions.
Why the owner of preev.com didn't switch to free Cloudflare isn't that enough? Switching to free Cloudflare could save costs while providing SSL, CDN, and DDoS protection for free and also eliminate DNS expiration.
942  Other / Meta / Re: Does deleting our own posts harms our acccount ? on: October 08, 2023, 03:51:16 PM
It shouldn't have any bad effect on your account but deleting your old posts might affect your forum ranks. I heard someone with full member rank deleted his few old posts and it ranked down.

Do you have any reason why do you want to delete your posts?

Since your current rank is member it might rank down to newbie if you deleted old posts.

I think for safety if you want to delete your old post to avoid ranking down you can report/request to mods to delete it for you.
943  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My more than 2 bitcoins got stolen just 2 days ago. on: October 08, 2023, 03:30:02 PM
Yes, Electrum wallet used on my laptop only.

Are you sure if your Laptop is clean?
You might be using a cracked OS?
Or maybe you are using a fake Electrum wallet?

If this is for HODL you should make a wallet on an offline device or laptop and never save the password and seed phrase anywhere in your PC/Laptop.

How are you sure that your funds got stolen?
Did you check it from blockchain explorer?

You can maybe still able to reverse the transaction if it is still unconfirmed why not share your wallet address here?
944  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got it all wrong from the beginning on: October 07, 2023, 04:30:07 PM
Take note it's a bad security practice if you import the seed phrase into a different wallet software.
Sample if you generated a seed phrase from Coinomi it's not advisable to import it into Trustwallet, Electrum, or any wallet. That's a bad habit if you keep continue to do this you just make your wallet exposed to more potential security risks and privacy leaks.

Always remember that the security of your wallet is your responsibility and always follow the best practices to avoid potential risks.
945  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is this a scam!! Help on: October 07, 2023, 03:57:26 PM
There is no free money by just depositing and waiting for a few days to make a 600% profit.

That's pretty obvious it's a scam it's better to bet the $500 on the betting sites you might be lucky and able to make $3000 in return if you win in a row.

So why did you deposit $500?
Even newbies I'm sure they won't fall into this trap because it's impossible to make huge profits in a short time.
946  Other / Meta / Re: Can I stake multiple BTC address? on: October 07, 2023, 03:46:06 PM

Some might say, Why don't you stake BTC or PGP and sign a message saying that? The thing is, I don't have a desktop device at this moment. Most of the time, I use Bitcointalk on my mobile. I hope everyone understands my situation.

What wallet do you currently use?

Mycelium Wallet has a feature to sign and verify messages if you have a backup private key you can import it to Mycelium Wallet but make sure you only use it on an offline device for safety purposes.

If you are using Electrum then currently it does not have this feature but someone mentioned this feature on Electrum Github to add sign/verify message and I saw someone contribute and tested it to Android. Let's hope developers will add this to the next Electrum version.

947  Other / Meta / Re: Python script to automatically delete or edit all bitcointalk posts on: October 07, 2023, 03:10:34 PM
Since you cant delete your account here, and deleting posts manually one by one is a pain, i made a python script to automatically delete all posts that can be deleted, and to edit those which can only be edited (changes subject and message to "x")

I couldnt find any terms of service for this website, so not sure if this is even allowed.

The delete option I think is allowed but editing all posts and changing it to just X or anything I think it should be not allowed because if someone finds your tool I'm sure they will take advantage of using it to spam links.

I think it would be better if you removed the editing option instead and I don't see any reason why they want to delete old posts it is already part of the forum history.
948  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is there a way to ASIC mine using my bitcoin core instead a pool? on: October 07, 2023, 10:48:05 AM
Having your own node and running your own local pool is the only way to mine solo without 3rd party.

But it's a waste of time and power if you only have one unit to mine solo because you will never be able to solve a block or it takes decades before you can solve a block.

Based on the pool where you mine solo I never heard of that pool before and according to Whois, it's 2 months old.

Look:
Code:
Domain:public-pool.io
Registrar:Cloudflare, Inc
Registered On:2023-08-09
Expires On:2024-08-09
Updated On:2023-08-14

What I see here is you are trying to promote this pool here.
949  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17Pro hashboard - no power on: October 07, 2023, 10:32:13 AM
What domain 4 are you talking about is that the voltage domain? But what exactly?

There are 5 testpoints on the hashboard if you want to diagnose the issue there is a manual repair guide from Zeusbtc you can maybe get some idea of how to fix them check the link below.

950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How can I retrieve private keys from a phone with faulty panel. on: October 06, 2023, 07:04:18 PM

Yes. Motherboard.
That's like the main phone isn't?
So I'm thinking, is there a tweak that phone apps will remain the same if they have to put new one without new installation of Apps just to get the wallet seed phrase and private keys from th phone.
That would be pretty bad if they said it's a motherboard, most technicians say that if they don't know exactly why it's dead because it's time-consuming to find the issue but some technicians who specialize in hardware can able to revive a dead phone or can able to dump the whole data from the eMMC. Only a few technicians have a tool to dump data from eMMC like jTag tools. Because this tool is pretty expensive.

So I suggest find a professional technician who knows more about data recovery because they can able to dump the data or transfer the eMMC chip to a new host(motherboard).
It's not cheap unless you do it by yourself but the problem is you don't know if the eMMC is still ok or dead.

Do you mind to tell us what unit model your phone is? Maybe I can give you some DIY guides that can help to dump the data from eMMC I know some free jTag tools but limited supported units and if the
951  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon miner 1166 pro miner board temperature error on: October 06, 2023, 05:30:40 PM
Hi everyone

the asics does not mine and it gives me a temperature error (-273) on PING(0) Does anyone know the possible solutions?

I don't know exactly what happened to your miner but if you got that error it might be overheating.

If you can share the whole API logs and post it here we can maybe able to find out what the cause of this error.

Or better learn how to read the troubleshooting guide how to read the API logs you can download the guide from this link below.

952  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Repaired s17Pro hashboard - eeprom error on: October 06, 2023, 05:09:17 PM

For example, I see that I dont know the different between the eeprom and pic file.

They are different according to the Zeusbtc below the hashboard has a PIC chip and EEPROM chip so maybe yes you need to restore a pic file but the problem is do you have a working pic file? ZeusBTC is selling pic files in a package, not by piece.
However, I don't think the issue is the pic firmware the error is pointing to EEPROM so maybe the file you read from another hashboard might also have corrupted EEPROM you need to find a known working hashboard to read the EEPROM and flash it to these hashboard.

953  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience R909 usb problems on: October 05, 2023, 07:41:06 PM

thanks its probably a dud miner. Zadig doesnt detect it to update driver. have checked everything except a different usb cable.
the troubleshooting steps that guide offers for the R909 is if it doesnt work restart it XD.
the software i was refering to was zadig as well as other usb software ive used to try to detect the device.

Is there any sign that the unit has power(LED lights and a fan spinning)?
If it's running then maybe the USB cable is defective you need to replace it since that's the only one that you haven't tested yet or it could be the USB port is broken try to clean it with isopropyl alcohol and brush or replace the USB port.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: SAFEPAL SEED on: October 05, 2023, 07:21:55 PM
FindOuter is not working for me... idk why I'm checking the other

How it does not work?

Or are you still pushing your Python code with suspicious links?
Don't use that code you provided previously because it contains an unknown link safepal never mentions that they have an ep.isafepal.com link as you can see the first letter from the domain name starts with "i" it could be a phishing link. The safepal domain is safepal.com it does not have "i".

I smell something suspicious here if you are using chatGPT to generate the Python code then it won't generate a code related to brute-force because it's prohibited.
Are you trying to promote your own code with suspicious links and pretending that you are trying to recover the missing/incorrect word?
955  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Flashing control Board S9 to R4 on: October 05, 2023, 06:56:58 PM
Who said that it would work in r4 units?
Pretty bad you bought a c5 control board I never heard that c5 control will work in R4.
The control board that you should buy is the Xilinx control board because it's universal.

Also, I checked Bitmain's download page they don't have SD card firmware for r4 units so the firmware you download can only be flashed on the dashboard GUI. You can try to flash it through the browser let see if it would work.
956  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bank-free Bitcoin Mining on: October 05, 2023, 12:02:53 AM
You've said that you have been mining for the past few years but you don't know how to mine BTC?

You might be just talking about mining altcoin because you won't be able to mine BTC with mining rigs or you won't be able to make a profit mining BTC with GPU rig.
If you say mining rig it is usually based on the GPU cards, not ASIC.
Mining BTC requires ASIC which is more efficient than GPU's what I see here is you are trying to promote this site I know someone promotes FCFpay service here but most of them always have newbie posts with attractive words.
957  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience R909 usb problems on: October 04, 2023, 11:42:01 PM
What exactly the software included you mean?
And what source did you download it?

Have you installed the driver? Without a driver this unit is undetectable you need to install the driver that came from Zadig.

You can follow the guide from Kano on how to install driver below

Or directly download it from https://zadig.akeo.ie/

All guides and troubleshooting for Gekko units can be found here https://kano.is/gekko.php
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: SAFEPAL SEED on: October 04, 2023, 11:25:27 PM
I try all the words that start with the same letter that I have written in my copy, I will try btccreover

You just make things complicated and wasting time to make Python code to work.
FinderOuter is ready to use you don't need to make any Python code just to brute-force a one word from your seed.
Look at this sample

Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214021.msg62454836#msg62454836

Isn't that easy?
959  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Repaired s17Pro hashboard - eeprom error on: October 04, 2023, 11:00:37 PM
The error might be an incompatibility issue since you said the EEPROM you flashed came from another unit am I right?

It won't work you need an EEPROM that came from another dashboard but on the same unit.

The hashboard must be synced if the serial numbers are different the control board won't recognize it.

There is a way to bypass this if you don't have Eeprom backup on that unit.
To bypass this you need to boot this unit with Braiins OS.
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC block rewards - what addresses win? on: October 04, 2023, 09:27:21 PM
Are you talking about coinbase addresses?

Mempool.space should give you enough insight about blocks including what addresses where the new BTC is generated or wins a block.
