941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: June 02, 2023, 09:50:37 PM
The concept is we have to think that bitcoin is a potential asset to hold in the long term, so that our investment goals are more focused and not thinking about how the market will react. Bitcoin will always have its moments ups and downs over a period of time, so it doesn't really matter how the market reacts once we have established an investment pattern. The problem lies in how knowledgeable we are in investing and most beginners get stuck in market conditions, so they don't try to learn the long term to invest in bitcoin.
Beginners seem to understand how the market works and how bitcoin can give them returns. But many newbies are too afraid to leave the market especially after they have invested, I mean they always monitor the price movement which at a certain moment has changed their investment plan especially when the price actually drops lower. I can say that as one of my personal experiences at beginner, but as I've been here longer and seen how bitcoin works over the long term, my investment plan hasn't changed much. So I think they need time, they need something convincing that in the long term bitcoin can give them returns, that's the experience.
Perhaps, it was very common to those who certainly don't have an idea about investing as they never know what they are doing. Because investing should be played so well in order to succeed -there is a plan, as a key role to win the market and earn a profit but somehow, this has been usually missing to many investors. They are not guided which is why they'll never do what they gonna do next aside from selling but to know when that is totally had missed out.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Keep Buying Bitcoin Alone if I Have Limited Resources? on: June 02, 2023, 09:23:12 PM
Well, some are saying that putting all eggs in one basket is not a good idea but I'd just think that investing in Bitcoin alone is not also a bad decision. Because we believe that Bitcoin is a good investment and the most promising project in the crypto space we have some confidence that it will grow and pay us back what we are invested (ROI). In fact, it was better to have a single investment  (Bitcoin) rather than shared it with altcoins as we know that altcoins are reliant on the Bitcoin's market trend.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 02, 2023, 07:54:30 AM
So far the game is going about how I expected. Miami can’t cover MPJ and Ben Gordon. Looks like they’re leaving Ben Gordon open who is absolutely punishing them right now. They’re going to probably switch up and let MPJ run free in the second half. Nice to see Denver immediately exploiting their advantages. Miami is in trouble and we’re only 9 minutes in.
It's Aaron Gordon btw, and he's really punishing below with those smaller defenders on him. The switches Denver are absolutely stunning and I guess this will be a blowout game for the Denver unless Miami make some adjustments and decrease that outside shooting, they're really salty out there especially for Strus right now with 0-6 3PT FG.

Yeah, it was Gordon who are doing the damage and says the guard of the Heat is "too little", so for game 1, he has the impact for the Nuggets.

For Struss, we went scoreless for the first time in a series opener and they've lost big time. Time for him to make the adjustments next game, it might be over if the Nuggets scores 2-0. They haven't been in this kind of score in the playoff, they even went 3-0 against the Boston Celtics. But it seems this is a different team that they are playing and we should also give coach Malone some credit for inspiring his players.

The Nuggets have adopted a different approach this time around. Despite having a size advantage, they are not solely relying on driving the ball. They have shown excellent ball movement and have confident outside shooters. Jokic, in particular, poses a significant challenge for the Heat as they struggle to contain him, and he elevates the performance of his team. If the Heat can find a way to make Jokic's life difficult, there is a chance for them to secure a victory. However, the question remains as to how they will accomplish that.
944  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 02, 2023, 07:15:06 AM
I'm not going to lie. Although I highly value my privacy, I've sent my documents to multiple platforms in order to complete kyc. I was kinda forced to do so, though.
Personally, I believe that the moment you upload your documents to the internet, you should consider them as compromised since no website/database is 100% safe.
However, you should not send your personal information to any random online service. Do it only with services that you trust.
The last part is important because if you send them to completely untrusted sources and websites just to earn free bucks then you are ignoring the part where it will cost your privacy which is far more worse case.In these casinos we have to do KYC but with legit sites and not too much but sending them to unknown sites is very risky and avoided at any cost.
It's already risky when sharing personal information, so it becomes even more crucial to be cautious when dealing with gambling sites that may not have a reputable track record. Personally, I haven't provided Know Your Customer (KYC) information to any gambling sites. Currently, I'm enjoying gambling without the need for KYC, and the site I'm using allows it. However, I'm aware that there might come a time in the future when I'll be required to undergo a KYC process. In such a case, I would be willing to comply, as long as I trust the site to keep my information private.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: June 01, 2023, 08:35:37 PM
A few days ago, I saw a KOL with a large number of fans on Twitter. He was recommending a project recommended by many KOLs. As long as he followed his guidelines, he could get more airdrop tokens. As a result, when I clicked on the link, connect When my little fox wallet is signed and confirmed, my assets will be reset to zero. I checked the data on the chain, and in a short period of time, he actually defrauded more than 20,000 US dollars in digital currency, which is terrible.
That is why we should have to be more cautious when it comes to investing online and most especially if we are about to click some links that we need to log in our passwords/usernames. In fact, this is not a new strategy of scammers but if you are a greedy person, you'd still fall into them which is why, despite the awareness we brought in here and even outside the forum, still a lot of people got tricked and scammers still continue doing this for they know that there are a lot of greedy individuals that can be their victim.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 01, 2023, 01:36:56 PM

I think the over 216.5 is worth considering, considering that the Denver Nuggets will win.

What if the Nuggets do not win? There is no assurance that the Nuggets will win. Although they are playing at home, it is not guaranteed that they will win as being overly confident often leads to mistakes. That is why only a few succeed in gambling.

Regarding the pick, which is over, there is a decent chance of success because both teams are known for moving the ball and not relying too heavily on one player alone. Scoring-wise, it should not be that difficult. Based on the Nuggets' average of 118 points in their last four games, if the Miami Heat can reach 100 points, it should result in an easy win.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: May 31, 2023, 01:43:23 PM
Naoya Inoue is no doubt already compatible with the 122 division and honestly seems looked overqualified even before entering officially that division. If let's say he loses to Stephen Fulton, it's just that he can't take the champion here but against anyone else in that division, Inoue can surely topped most of those. But I'm sure if he really loses here for real, the fight is a close one and a rematch is probably the next in line.

If Inoue loses this match, then we will all be proven wrong because we are expecting an easy victory for Inoue to claim the championship. I mean no disrespect to Fulton, but when you compare his record to Inoue's, there is a significant difference. So, even though Inoue is the challenger in this fight, many still anticipate his victory.

I wouldn't expect a rematch because I truly believe that we will not witness a closely contested fight. Most likely, the fight will either end early or go the full 12 rounds if Fulton opts to avoid taking risks and decides to focus on surviving rather than engaging in exchanges of punches.

So if there's a rematch, most likely the champ has succeeded in defending his belt.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 31, 2023, 01:11:10 PM

Miami heat vs Denver nuggets it will be a good matchup as we all know that both teams are strong enough to prove themselves that they are worthy of That trophy. and the most favorate here is the Denver nuggets as we all know how they play they are too strong that Even Lakers can not compete them. But Miami heat and their star Jimmy Butler want to compete nuggets even they have small lineup than nuggets but still they have a chance to win. And in game 1 we can predict what happen next.

Game 1 may provide us with an indication of what could transpire in the series, but the Nuggets must exercise caution, as the Miami Heat have shown proficiency in snatching victories on the road. In fact, they defeated the Celtics three times on their home court during the Eastern Conference Finals, implying that they could replicate this feat against the Nuggets. Their objective is to secure at least one win on the road to gain a home court advantage, ideally in either Game 1 or Game 2.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 30, 2023, 01:28:34 PM
Haney tries to follow in the footsteps of Mayweather but I think he is so far behind the Money. When Mayweather fought Castillo and won via controversial decision the former immediately give Castillo a rematch and there, he proved that the belt rightfully belonged to him.

For Haney, if he thinks he is better than Loma, even if they fought four times, he would still be victorious if indeed his skills and talent are way above Loma so why the talk?

Mayweather's name in boxing is 'Money' because money follows him every time he fights. In the case of Haney, he isn't a pay-per-view (PPV) attraction like Mayweather, so he still has to prove himself more before reaching the status of Mayweather before retirement. Mayweather has fought the best in the boxing world and has dominated most of the fights he won. As you mentioned, he even gave rematches, which sets him apart from Haney.

I think there are two similarities between both boxers: they are undefeated and sometimes considered boring.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 30, 2023, 12:43:04 PM
As long Ginebra will reach the Finals, it will bring a lot of money to the league, so expect them to play against Bay Area in the season to come.
That's a given; that's why they are sometimes criticized. Some people believe that the league favors them to be in the Finals because they are the most popular team in the PBA. Additionally, the word 'luto' (rigged) appears every time the team wins. This is not a new phenomenon, as Ginebra has a large fan base but also faces a lot of criticism and has many haters.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: May 29, 2023, 10:26:17 AM
Finally, the fight every boxing fan has been waiting for is now sealed. I guess this is already 99% happening. Odds are already released as well.

Yes, the fight is official sealed by both parties, odds are showing that Spence is the underdog.

Still, I think Crawford is winning this match. As a matter of fact, to be quite frank, although this is a battle of undefeated fighters, I don't see this as a 50:50 match. I agree with the odds. Spence deserves to be the underdog. The last time he fought was more than a year ago. And then he had no fight in the whole of 2021. In his last few fights, he only had a UD against the two Garcias, Danny and Mikey, and only a split against Porter, who Crawford knocked out.

I think one of Crawford's advantage here is that he can adjust on the fly, he can fight both lefty and orthodox and majority of his fights are won because of that as his opponents can't adjust to this style. And then his sharp shooting, he has a knockout power and he hasn't been chin tested in his career. As compare to Spence who almost goes down against Ugas. And if Crawford lands that left hand, we will see if Spence can hold or will simply go down because of the power. And yeah, he fought more than a year ago so ring rust might be a factor too.

Even here in the forum, a lot of users are rooting for Crawford to win. Well, this is a good challenge for Spence.
As he knows that he's the underdog on this fight, he has strong motivation to seriously prepare for this fight.
This fight is a lucrative one for both boxers, and they will be earning good money no matter what.
The OP can edit the date to July 29 though, happening in Las Vegas, Nevada.

https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/5/25/23737604/terence-crawford-vs-errol-spence-jr-finally-official-for-blockbuster-july-29-fight

There is also an interview on Crawford stating that Spence told him that he took the easy route and fight Porter Jr. And then Spence calling Crawford too short for the 147 lbs and then him responding by pointing out that Spence is too fat, Lol.

So yeah the trash talk has started already since the official announcement of the fight. And whenever I check social medias like Twitter, either both or one of them are trending. And with that, it means it has now gathering steam and hype (again).
Trash talks seem to be one medium of hyping their fight and the more it gains attention and interest. Of course, their supporters will keep throwing vias decisions. But I like how it works and it changes the odds, a spike is possible to happen as the date of the fight gets closer. Both teams are preparing so well but I give my vote to Crawford, he got all the advantage over Spence. And I see his confidence to win the fight which is also a big factor.
952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need signal service on: May 29, 2023, 09:57:06 AM
Help me to find out any best telgram signal group. I dont have time for analysis. Just check the signal and trade. Thts all i need for trading crypto. So suggest me some best signal group.

You can trade by following different telegram groups which will bring you profit. But you have to risk money as well as profit as there are many telegram groups where scams are more common. So you have to be careful about this and you must look to get signals from trusted groups. I think trading with signals is a lot of ricks for your money.
I'm not really sure what is in the mind of OP and I'm not sure if he is aware of these signal groups. Because as you have said "most of them are scammers" and if OP already knows this and the consequences that await him, he would never seek any suggestion about this. But unfortunately, he does like he never knows anything but I couldn't assume that he was also innocent about this, maybe he trying to play some game which makes us think that he is indeed innocent.
Well, those who think they could get a profit from using this signal will eventually lose in the end.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano still a good investment? on: May 29, 2023, 06:06:18 AM
As long as Top 10 on coinmarketcap/coingecko which is still worth it to have it, but you should know CEO ADA coin not interested for increase of coin price, he is just focus for development their ecosystem, Project DevelopmentThe CEO's primary focus is likely on overseeing the development and advancement of the Cardano blockchain. This involves implementing technical improvements, enhancing scalability, improving governance mechanisms, and fostering partnerships to increase the overall value and utility of the Cardano ecosystem. So never expect Cardano price will be the same like 1 year ago
Yes, those on the top 10 are worth investing but we also have to consider their market performance and as we can see Cardano isn't that looking good. There are several coins that are not on the top 10 coins that are even performing so well which I think it was worth rather than choosing this project. What I mean is that Cardano is not the best coin that we are looking for if we wanted to earn a good profit unless the developer will tried to show more improvements of the project in order to look even better and usable in the crypto space.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: May 29, 2023, 03:35:01 AM
No matter what we do, we can't say how effective (or less effective) our strategies in gambling are because, in the end, we are still the losers of the game while casinos are earning more. The message that the article is telling us is that there is a way to avoid big losses from gambling addiction. Now, it was on our part how we manage ourselves and listen to the advice of old-time gamblers. But seems not to believe someone who will say that their strategies really working, that is not far from being a liar or scammer.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: May 28, 2023, 09:56:37 PM

If the OP has no urgent needs with his funds, he may probably lose some if he will sell his btc today.
So even if he bought at such prices, he can still gain but need to wait when the market surpasses such levels.
BTC and ETH are already for long-term investments, so should not worry too much about their market unless, the OP needs to sell it now.
When it comes to other alts, everyone should do their due diligence because anyone can suggest an alt to invest but it is you who needs to study the alt.
This will happen if we invest in something that we never really understand. Because I see that OP is impatient and probably what he thinks is that he can get profit too quickly. Apparently, the situation is likely not giving him a favor after investing and so the doubts have begun. It is a challenge for investors who think that crypto investment is a quick-rich game, some easily give up when seeing the market decline and upload their altcoins immediately and regrets happen. And I believe that OP is struggling hard to think if he HOLDs or just SELL them, much more difficult if we are relying on the income of our crypto investment.
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: May 28, 2023, 09:30:23 PM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .
Starting online investment, particularly trading, can be a rewarding endeavor, but it's not without risk. As a beginner, the key is to first educate yourself thoroughly about the markets, trading strategies, and risk management. Understand that it's not a get-rich-quick scheme; it requires patience, discipline, and continuous learning. Start small, diversify your investments, and only invest money you're prepared to lose. It's advisable to consider seeking advice from a financial advisor. Your success in trading largely depends on your ability to make informed decisions, stay updated with market trends, and manage risks effectively.
You can't call trading an investment as it was a really different concept.
Well, anyways, choosing to trade is a good idea for anyone who wants trading but of course, it was not just "wants", it also needs dedication and passion. It is not because we got influenced by others who show their huge income because if you have heard, a lot of people come to trading but guess what, only a few of them succeeded. It is because trading is not an easy job, this is not suitable for impatient people, and most of all, not suitable for emotional individuals.
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: May 28, 2023, 12:43:40 PM
The bull market hasn't arrived yet. A massive correction happens befor the bull market transition. For now we see small corrections that drive the price move within specific range. The market that grew from the price range of $16k and reaching around $27k  happened all of the sudden. From there bitcoin wasn't able to move good in position. In particular it tried to move high above $30k, but it couldn't achieve it. Altcoins were also following bitcoin which means the market is self driven and the altcoins season too hadn't started.
Speculations arise that this year 2023 we gonna see a bull run but as we observe, it is still far from happening and if we look into the market history, it took 3-4 years before the bull season come. I'd say that most of the newcomers today are too impatient because those who have experience in the past bull season had already an idea of when it comes and when the bear season comes as well. That is why we have this 4-year market cycle and we expect that bull season comes after halving which was next year.
958  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 28, 2023, 11:59:32 AM
...
It's still wise to gamble because you just want to have fun, just shows you're not after winning huge but your main desire is to entertain yourself. Remember that regrets are always in the end so think twice before playing.
Gambling has been made to give fun to the gamblers but something we need to accept the changes that happens today. People gamble today thinking that they will multiply their money. They'll think that gambling is the solution to their financial problems but unfortunately, many of these gamblers suffered instead of making money more. Too bad to see that some of them become addicted and make their lives miserable.
It was our choice indeed but something to say that it was not right to think that gambling would be considered as to be an income generator as it likely impossible.
959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: May 28, 2023, 08:46:46 AM
If you don't want your job anymore and want to go full time in trading, quit on your job.

But, if you're going to be practical and want to play it safe, you could do trading, just don't quit your job. You could gain experience in trading little by little by spending some time trading when you don't have work, like every weekends or any day when you don't have anything to do. Then, when you know you can do it, quit your job then go full time in trading.
That is a good suggestion because learning can't be instant. Meaning it takes time and more experience before we fully understand trading and make ourselves confident that we can earn profit from trading and make this our main source of income. If we quit our job, meaning we are cutting our one source of income. So it must be sure that we earn enough from trading similar or more from what we get from our job otherwise, leaving is not the right option to take.
So OP, should have to think it several time and consider the impact in your finances when you don't have salary to receive at the end of the month.
960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 27, 2023, 09:55:07 PM
Cryptocurrency is risky, and while we are aware of the basic requirements that must be in place in order to profit significantly, not all of us are aware of an appropriate season to trade. Most professional traders prefer the bear season, which, in my opinion, is the best period to conduct critical study on crypto projects, uncover ethical road maps, and invest in them for a possible solid future. The bull season is most likely harvest time; we reap what we sow in the market. Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
Based on my experience, I've found out that trading during the bull season is more profitable than during the bear season.
There is why,
 - the price of coins usually goes high during the bull season which make you earn a profit in just an hour and possibly double or triple it at the end of the day.
 - while during the bear season, the price drop is usually what we can experience and we need to hold for a few days or even weeks to recover so we can sell. That absolutely takes time to make money during this season which is why I often not to trade, especially when seeing Bitcoin drops.
