981  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which crypto investment have you tried out? on: August 26, 2023, 10:24:26 PM
Tell us your crypto investment let’s learn from you and tell us which platform you used. Personally have tried out flexible savings; flexible savings gives opportunity to make passive income everyday on your savings based on the percentage allocated to the savings you subscribed for.
I've also used flexible savings but it seems that it's not really that much. Plus, you don't hold the custody of your coins if it's on an exchange.
Which exchange have you tried flexible savings? Once you can get the right exchange that has a good reputation then you’re good to go,
It was on Binance, I don't think that it's worth of time and money. What's the right exchange that you're talking about that has a good reputation? Binance can be considered as that but I don't think that I'll be on it again.

especially those ones with prove of fund reserve.
This can be just words of trust. You'll not know if they're actually having the actual proof of reserve if they're able to provide it for you. And even they show you that, you can't be 100% sure that everyone's going to be filled if that has been used.
982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copytrading with Binance Leaderboard traders on: August 26, 2023, 01:52:19 PM
I agree that you can make money on copy trading, but unfortunately in this case the trader will not understand how he earns or loses money. If the exchange gives such an opportunity, then you can compete with the selected trader. My friends do this, but they don't invest more than $500. This option allows you to analyze your mistakes and correct decisions.
As long as they invest what they can afford to lose and they know what's happening with their trades, as they copy trade. There can really be money to earn there but it's not that going to be mostly common. If you don't trust your instinct and way of analyzing the market, you can copy trade but it's not going to assure you to win most of your trades.

I can't deny that copytrading can indeed help beginners to trade while learning every step that has been done by the professionals. But we also shouldn't depend too much on copytrade. If it's occasional then that is pretty good. But not too often. Because we also need to develop our own skills in trading. Try careful analysis and make good planning for trading. I'm also studying everything. Thank you for sharing. I'll keep the link you OP linked.
It can be a stepping stone but those newbies that are new to the market don't have to be hard on themselves and be dependent on it. Much better that they'll still get to trade on their own.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 26, 2023, 12:42:50 PM
In our country, they were legal like 2-3 years ago but then the government finally decided to stop and make them illegal because of the series of kidnappings due to this type of game. Despite that, there have been a lot of new websites/apps that have come out but they don't have a license to operate so that means they're illegally operating and they will be held behind bars if they get caught. That's possible that in some other countries, they could also face jail time if one has but it differs from each country. But I am just saying that maybe you should change your game if you wanna gamble.
Right mate because choosing an illegal game as a gambler limits you in several ways such as the availability of the games on multiple casinos and also how you intend to deal with the law when they come knocking,  because cockfight or any animal fight at all is mostly seen as illegal activities in most places of the world including my own country,  unless in a few limited remote areas where such practice still take place.
It happens in remote areas where laws aren't recognized although some basic laws have been appreciated. But the reality that's hard to accept is no matter what laws are there especially in countries like ours, this won't be stopped.

I remembered that number of cases of kidnapping happened and most of them are agents or connected to that cockfighting casino. I wonder what happened to those victims since there's no news about the missing persons. I believe that after that casino that is forced closed by the government, several illegal cockfighting casinos appeared but no one really shined or I guess some of them are still operating today in the underground scene since they can't promote it or make a public stunt about it.
Yes, I still remember it until now and the sad update is that there's no longer news about those kidnapped victims and cockfighters. The most recent news that I have seen is that the family is being bribed 20 million pesos for them to stop looking for their victim loved one.

Also there are APR savings on each newly listed tokens upto and more than 100% depending on how the event goes, these are opportunities you can get if you use flexible savings. Basically this feature is only available on CEX
Those are the risky ones and I'd avoid them because they're not really good tokens for you to put on that APR savings because they mostly are going to be down the soonest it adds liquidity.
Btw, this shouldn't be here but on Altcoin Discussion.

I'm cheering for the Philippines to secure a victory against Angola, although they are now heavily favored.
We have to. Everyone is cheering for them in group A. Despite that it's not really going to be an easy way, 2 more games and the next one will define if there's still a chance or none although the last match is against Italy and it's like a hands-up match for the Gilas. This isn't the Gilas that we used to know, despite of being belittled and having a little chance to get on. We've seen how the team cope up against Dominican Republic which have been thought that will stomped the team easily but no. Angola for tomorrow and then Italy on Tuesday. Many are hoping that by tomorrow, they could get a win against them but on Tuesday, it's like that the majority are no longer optimistic.

987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: August 26, 2023, 08:10:45 AM
I think exchange based tokens are strong token and they also going long but its depends token activity if token is strong there concept is strong so its will be good its means exchange are help but main thing is token roadmap..
Like a few of them are good to long for long term but this is to each their own. As you're saying that token's activity is the concept that investors have to look at.
Well, it's right but aside from the actual token's movement. There's the involvement of the actual exchange if they're doing good or not. You can see that for example Binance and its BNB.
Whenever there's news about Binance having trouble with SEC, the coin of it reacts and that's why it's like playing in two books. The economy of its token/coin and the exchange itself.
988  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GILAS PILIPINAS UPDATE ON FIBA WORLD CUP! on: August 26, 2023, 04:17:25 AM

990  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thailand national airdrop highly likely... on: August 25, 2023, 11:55:16 PM
But what's going to be the effect of it? We've seen these airdrops with real money which is like the US injection and printing of money like brrrrrrrr led to inflation. This leads to $14.3B although it's a different thing from the incident that I have mentioned. There's a certain rule on how and where you can spend this airdrop if you're from there. As he's a pro crypto, there could be more to this and this is just like giving the idea to its citizens that, "hey crypto is within us soon".

991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: August 25, 2023, 11:28:36 PM
Yes, trading is way more profitable than long term hodling. But have you been trading and making decent income in most of your trades? Because it’s easier being said than done. Trading is done with high knowledge and skills, and only experienced traders only stood the test of time, because a lot end up losing and eventually quit from trading. That is simply the reason why most of the traders end up settling with long term hodling. At least, when you hold and tend to forget that you have been keeping bitcoin in your portfolio, you are likely to profitable when the market is in profits.
Truly easier said than done, if someone wants to argue that trading is more profitable in the long run than long-term holding. That's his opinion and mostly based on his experience. But with all of the people here being aware of how profitable long-term holding is, it's already justified by most of us because it did happen to us. Remove the pressure on yourself when you're trading and transition into holding which is not going to require you a lot of work. Just as you've said, you can just likely forget that you're holding and return to the market when the bull run is in and you'll be surprised at how much your portfolio has grown for being patient. Both trading and holding requires patience but I'll choose to be more patient in holding without the need to check the sentiment of the market.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: August 25, 2023, 10:54:32 PM
Ico, ieo, defi, meme, nft and so many altcoin trend came,  created hype and then end. I notice, when a new trend start, then trend Related new altcoins are getting lots of investor and become profitable! And seeing such success ratio, scammers also launch their token and destroy the trend and hype with scam. Now Ai coins are in trend. FET, AGIX and OCEAN are suppose to be good for investment. What do you Think?
Only the earliest becomes profitable with any new trend that's being set to the market. Yeah, as of now, those are the AI coins but I don't still think that this is the right time for people to look at it as something profitable. Who knows what may happen during the bull run if the majority of them are going to be profitable.

Time to invest AI coins or you avoid?
I am avoiding, although I know that it can be profitable for these trend setters. But I've got my own focus and that's to buy Bitcoin and other few known altcoins that I know that can be a good choice to hold. If you think that you'll be good holding these AI coins and you're optimistic with them, not all of them will be.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Security measures in casinos are better than exchanges! on: August 25, 2023, 10:25:25 PM
We heard that data breaches and hacks in the crypto currency exchanges are more often and almost every exchange faced that but when it comes to casinos they're actually better in that isn't it cause I don't see any casino's got hacked like exchange which means the casinos are having better security standards when it comes to protecting the data and funds.
That only means that most casinos are investing in their security or have people that are working hard to protect their systems and operations 24/7. While for the exchanges, they're probably just doing the same thing but it's that they're more targeted by the hackers and that's why they're inventing and discovering more ways to abuse a little hole that they see and attacks it through it.

If that so then how is it possible for the casino why not by the exchanges.

Your thoughts!!!
Another thing is that, when these hackers do it at the same time and they're more with the exchanges, the success rate that they're doing is more than the casinos. But who knows, I don't have the stats for that.
994  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Back to loss glory on: August 25, 2023, 09:55:36 PM
It's possible when people realize that this age is no longer the kind of type that they wanna live. I think that I am in one of the best eras in life where I was able to see the old times and as well as the digital age. Life was truly simpler before and it was the best feeling, it makes me cry when I remember those days especially kid's days where I don't have to think of responsibilities and bills. Everything is just there and you just have to live and survive and have something to eat, that's it. But today, with the golden age of the digital era, things have been set as a standard like you have to be successful and be an achiever. Anyway, that's their description of life and success but you know that everyone who's giving the precious moments on those old glory days are also successful people for their own thoughts.
995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What could be the problem here? on: August 25, 2023, 09:29:09 PM
There is no fault of newbies because they are new and they feel every movement of market as a new thing so excitement is must but if they continue their trading with same behavior then this will be their mistake.
Unless they learn from the mistakes that they have committed. Things are learned through experience and that's what they need to do, to learn from the experience that they're going to have from it. If the mistakes are consistent and they're not making anything better then they should have just quit. But if they are persistent and has a vision of what they're trying to do, that means that they're able to extract the lessons that they're learning through the process and it's not that hard to obtain even if they're beginners and they're courageous to take those beginner's losses.

996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If there was an instant transaction coin on: August 25, 2023, 08:56:34 PM
I think Nano does that but they lack exposure thus, people don't know that they're the type of project that you're working on. Since I am not updated with this project, I didn't know that they've already made a rebranding and they've got now the ticket symbol of XNO. As for the aim of OP of trying to get into this type of transaction, how can you incentivize the miners? or there's probably none just as the other projects that you have seen doing this thing for themselves.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 25, 2023, 08:23:07 PM
The game was actually close not until the last few minutes when a lot of turnovers happened. Too many free throws that didn't count as well.
I was cheering them while I was watching and shouting like it's not night here in our country. KAT did it the veteran way, it seems that it's not yet his full performance. During the last minutes, it seems that most of the players were tired and when JC was fouled out, they don't wanna move anymore. Those double three-point shots of Peña was the actual turning point and momentum of the Dominicana. Still, props to the Gilas team. We have never thought that the match will end up this close.
Turnovers and those forced three point attempts of the Gilas was really the thing that loses their momentum, too bad they could have won that. Lot of dribbles outside the paint and they can't even push it through that's why they tend to force it on three points. KAT can easily make fouls and as a good free throw shooter that was a turning point as well for them. With those rumors that it will be a blown out game by the Dominican Republic, it was really surprising it's this close.
19 turnovers if that's correct. The ball possession for the Dominican Republic was too long on the very last minutes of the game. That really had turned the table and they're on the lead during those minutes. I don't know, they're all pros but they probably need more experience on those crucial times and having no JC to lead them inside the ring, it's like that they don't know what to do and the dribble drive of Dwight and Scottie, that's too long because they don't have time left anymore. What a waste of time but anyway, that's already a lose for them.

It's a heartbreaking loss for the Philippines They are doing great all throughout the game it's in the last two minutes two that they falter their defense is not good they let the Dominican Rebublican score easily I hope they are going to be well organized next time they are touted as the best Gilas team to compete in FIBA.

They are going to meet Angola in the next match which lost to Italy, The Philippine team lost to Angola the last time they met in FIBA 84- 81 in overtime, I hope they can avenge their blowout loss to Angola.
That's okay, they didn't lose as if an easy lose. That's part of the game and IMO, that's better than what people are expecting against Dominicana that they'll just be eaten alive. But with JC's lead, he really was a great boost and motivation to the team.

Hindi ako mahilig sa coffee at teas pero sana mas maraming ganitong shops ang mag accept ng payment mapa-lightning network man o actual btc.

Actually this is not the first Business to offer the same mode of payment, yun nga lang most of them is hinde na nagooperate.
I remember a blog by Coinsph before about restaurants na nagaaccept ng Bitcoin as mode of payment, pinuntahan ko yun before unfortunately nagsarado na pala ito agad.
