981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 07, 2023, 06:29:27 AM
Well now look like I have said it too soon. Now Twitter has removed the doge logo from the application. And the price of doge coin has fallen 9% in the last 24 hours so again Elon Musk is controlling price of his favorite coin.

982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion on Cardano on: April 07, 2023, 05:07:23 AM
I have been holding some Cardano for some time now. I became interested in this project because the creator Charles Hoskinson did work with Vitalik Buterin on Ethereum. So I think he knows somethings about crypto projects.
I like to invest in projects that have a Stable coin. Cardano now has its Stable coin Djed and it was launched only a few months ago. The largest digital currency asset manager in the world, Grayscale Investments, has alot invested in Cardano too.
983  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think talents is different from skills? on: April 07, 2023, 04:24:55 AM
Well I think these are 2 different things you have. Skills are with training and talent is something that one just knows how to do.   Talents are like in music you take a singer that can carry a tune and the skill that a singer must do is perfecting that note.

Then you have a chef who has a special talent. They have that talent of knowing how to cook and there is that skill to make sure that a menu is set for its restaurant patrons. It takes this talent to perfect his skill, it is not something that just any person will know how to do.
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: April 06, 2023, 06:48:05 AM
Well there is not a reason you should not love Bitcoin. Bitcoin is amazing thing to invest in and if we hodl them there will be profits waiting for us in the future.
Exponential technologies like Bitcoin take a while to reach critical mass but when they do they progress rapidly. I believe Bitcoin will become the dominant method for storage and transaction of value in the coming years.
It will be hard to imagine a time the blockchain didn’t exist for future generations. In my humble opinion, we have not even begun to see the real global adoption of crypto and discover the full utility of blockchain.

986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 06, 2023, 05:14:56 AM
Well I think there was many of us who did think this was just a joke. I think the website icon was changed on April Fools day so we have every reason to think it was just a prank by Elon Musk.

I did not think he would keep this icon up for this long. I wonder to myself if it is a permanent move or he will take it down. It is now almost 1 week of no blue bird so starting to think we might expect some more news from Elon Musk favorite coin doge.

988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: April 04, 2023, 07:08:06 AM
These cryptocurrencies are very volatile, their value can fluctuate greatly. Many memcoins are created as a joke. Given that they were created as a joke, it is likely that Memcoins will attract scammers who will commit scams. I don’t understand why else they are created, so they often come and go along with the popularity of their meme.
I don't think that you're right. There are some meme coins that gained certain popularity and continues rising and improving. It works the same way like with all the other crypto. If the devs are serious about the project - they will do everything in order to make it grow and gain popularity.

At the moment, meme coins have more minus than plus. Meme coins are a relatively new phenomenon and do not have a long track record of performance. It can be difficult to assess their potential for long-term growth and stability. They are often created without a clear use case or long-term roadmap, and their prices can be highly volatile and difficult to predict.
They have no potential and are doomed to low interest. Meme tokens can only be interesting for a certain event in the long run, this is most often a losing option. As an investment, they are not suitable, they are more like a lottery. The developers of such projects are only interested in personal profit.

I agree with you. In the long run, the meme-coins isn't even worth considering. Just one statement by Elon Musk can bring down or raise the rates of meme-coins and not only them.

Well only meme coin for me to consider for a long term hodl is original meme coin Doge. We saw yesterday something that is so big for this meme coin now it is the face of Twitter.
We have to guess Elon Musk has something planned for his social media app. He did not just do this for a quick laugh. He is thinking how he can make more money and he is giving us hints by doing this.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: April 04, 2023, 06:37:11 AM
Well since we are still experiencing a 'bear market’, and it still remains a dangerous time to invest at the moment. I also do not think this is a good time to be investing in Altcoins especially newer ones. We just can not be so sure if it is a scam project or a pump and dump.
I think it is safe to say that you would be better off investing in Bitcoin if you want to invest. It is better then risking investments in Alt coins because we know the price of BTC will rise once again. We can not be so sure about investing in Altcoins.
990  Other / Off-topic / Re: Love, sex, romance on: April 04, 2023, 06:17:34 AM
Well it is not a good thing for you to have a addiction. It doesnt make a difference if the addiction is to a drug substance, something like being a thief, or something like sexual activities.
Having sex is a good thing. It can lower your blood pressure and give you better heart health. It will also build your self esteem and build confidence.
I think sex is really necessary for a man and woman. But not if you are doing it too much. If it is a addiction taking over your life you need to seek help from professionals.
991  Other / Off-topic / Re: How often do you have time for your family? on: April 04, 2023, 05:54:16 AM
Well I think about my family alot especially both of my parents. Both of them are not in my life and I never did really know much about my father but even that makes me think about him. They are still my parents and I will not be here if it isnt for them.
My family now is a small one. We do not go on vacations very much anymore just sometimes when I was very young. We are trying to be together for Christmas and other holidays but we all have different lifes so it can be difficult for this to happen.
Family is very important though so spend much time with them as you can. We will not be alive forever and you do not want to hold any regrets when your family members begin to pass away.
992  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: April 01, 2023, 07:16:45 AM
Well I do not think Elon was buying twitter with big plans for making profit. He is just wanting to be in control of it and have powers to make changes. He has so much money what does it bother him.
And now he has made source code for Twitters recommendation algorithm public. Making for more transparency for Twitter. https://www.reuters.com/technology/twitter-makes-content-recommendation-code-public-2023-03-31/
993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price and my mindset on: April 01, 2023, 06:38:34 AM
I have been thinking about the Bitcoin price alot recently. Just where we will be in the near future and the far out future. To decide if now I should sell some because I did read we will see price of Bitcoin fall down to 12k and lower.
It was 10 years ago on this date that price of Bitcoin was $100. Today price of 1 Bitcoin is $28,000 so that is 280 times more then it was 10 years ago. I think what does this mean price will be in 10 years from now 2033.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun sued by SEC. Effect on Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2023, 06:24:52 AM
Well it does not look like it made a bad effect on Bitcoin. Price of Bitcoin is still price for each coin of 28k or more. We might have predicted a loss in the price but now we can be certain no effect from Justin Sun being sued.
I am not certain if it has something to do with it. But Justin Sun has made the offer to buy 41,500 Bitcoin in control of the US Government for a 10% discount. https://news.coincu.com/177777-trons-justin-sun-offers-to-buy-41500-btc/
995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Failure is Important on: April 01, 2023, 06:14:29 AM
Failure is truly very important for many reasons. One way to look at it is by thinking that if you don’t attempt to learn something new because of the fear of failing. Then you hold yourself back from learning and growing from the experience.

The key to success also requires the process of failing along the way. If you fail you learn that we can pick yourself up to be better and approach the situation with a strategy. If you expect to be handed down everything to you then you won’t learn the lesson of hard work, dedication, persistence, and value in life.

Failure allows us to regroup, and rethink how to better execute a plan for a successful outcome. Having persistence after many times failing is also another key element of success. Because will others have either quit or stop trying, you are only one step closer to success.
996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Predictions? on: March 31, 2023, 03:55:45 AM
Well I am going to say I would be very happy with a 35k Bitcoin price in April. We have not seen this price of Bitcoin since May of 2022 I do believe.

Your price prediction is also in agreement with Bloomberg. They say it will reach this price after United States Fed rate hike. https://coingape.com/bitcoin-price-set-for-35000-after-us-fed-rate-hike-decision-bloomberg/
997  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime did you watch first? on: March 31, 2023, 03:46:07 AM
Well not my first but just seen Full-Metal Alchemist .The movie was about two young boys name Alphonse and Edward Elric. Their brilliant father studies to become an alchemist when the young boy's father found out that their mother had cancer.
Their father left the young boys age a very young in search of a cure, left with their ill mother who would eventually die from cancer. The boys were mad at their father for leaving them and seeing their mother wait for their father to return back home.
In hopes of bringing their mother back from the dead, Alphonse begins studying alchemy and all the notes left by his father. In a failed attempt to bring their mother back from the dead, the young boys paid a hard price which would cost the right arm and left leg of Alphonse and the complete body of Edward.
What they brought back from the dead was not their mother but an abomination that had to be killed. Alphonse realized that his brother’s body was trapped in another dimension called the portal of truth. Alphonse quickly attached his brother’s soul to a suit of armor.
In an exchange for returning Edward Elric's soul from the portal of truth, Alphonse would have to pay the price by giving up his right arm and left leg. Later the young boys Alphones age 13 and Edward age 11 start the search of finding the Philosopher's stone.
By this point, Alphonse has a prostatic mechanical right arm and left leg to give him mobility and help his brother search for the Philosopher's stone to get their bodies back.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 30, 2023, 06:41:09 AM
Well it takes alot for me to invest in a new alt coin project. We have seen many alt coins who did not survive and in the end were scam projects. So many we seen were 'pump and dumps' and investors lost all their money.

I am very careful with investing in new projects. If there is one that encourages religion, political, or some agenda I will more then likely avoid it. It just sounds too much of a scam for me. If I want to incest in alt coins I will stay with Ethereum or other top coins.
999  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 30, 2023, 06:09:38 AM
When it comes renting an apartment versus buying a house in my opinion is not a waste of money for a number of reasons. One of them may be that you are still a young who may not have the money to buy a house.
Another reason why it can also be why people would rather rent than purchase a home may be because they do not have a big family and do not need that many rooms. Purchasing a home, at the wrong time can also be costly for the buyer who can find it difficult to make their mortgage payments on time.
This is why they recommend starting to save money so that when the time comes to make a big purchase you will have enough to put down 10% on the home you are looking to buy. Renting an apartment may be the only option for some and for others a temporary place to live. It is always nice to know that you can live anywhere and just pack up and move.
1000  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: March 30, 2023, 05:15:02 AM
When a Pay-Cut occurs in any working environment, it creates a demotivating attitude for the workers. There have been many studies conducted that have shown that when this occurs a worker's performance becomes less productive.
The workers begin to slack off by showing up late for work and become less responsible once wages have been cut. On the other hand, when word gets out to the workers the company will have some layoffs to creates a atmosphere and environment of fear. This as a result makes the worker more productive.
The workers fear that they may be in the line of potentially being one who who get a lay-off This a great example that many businesses around the world were faced with only two options. Either cut-off employee salaries or lay-off employees were the decision that had to be made by a boss due to the pandemic.
