Do I need to have Z classic electrum wallet in order to get bitcoin private?
Or do I get BCP when using my Eleos Z classic wallet?
That electrum wallet seems so important because it seems like its that wallet that delay the fork
Did you got answer to your question? I'M also in the same boat I have swing wallet and I dont if need to use another wallett to get the bitcoin private. If anyone know it please share with us. Any wallet is fine. As long as you have your ZCL private keys, you'll get your BTCP. |

I'm new to Crypto and mining so please excuse me if this is ignorant. I read the BTCP FAQ, but I'm still uncertain how these matches typically work. All my ZCL is in the Windows Swing Wallet so those are fine. I have BTC at Coinbase. When the snapshot happens will I get BTCP for the BTC I have at Coinbase or should I move them to another wallet?
I was trying to use Exodus as my primary wallet. I'm assuming I might not get a match for any BTC in there since they don't support BTCP?

You will be able to claim BTCP for all BTC for which you're in control of the private key. AFAIK, Coinbase does not provide you the private key, so in that case you should move it to some other wallet. I prefer Electrum on Windows. It is light-weight and easy to use. |

You can sell ZCL right after the snapshot. No need to wait till receiving coins in BTCP wallet. Okey great, do we normaly get to know the exact time of day the snapshot will take place or just the day with these hard forks ? There will be a block number (ZCl or BTC or both) at which the snapshot will be taken. You can keep an eye on the block explorers to see when that block is mined. Block number would be announced on official Reddit / Twitter etc. |

With the cryptocurrency massacre happening now for just about every coin out there, should the semux team consider delaying the mainnet launch until things cool down?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, etc. all are getting hammered today and yesterday. Seems like bad timing to introduce a new coin.
Thoughts?

Upgrading from RC4 to RC5 requires complete re-download of the blockchain. It's a pain in you-know-where. I hope this will not be the case in future versions.
Why download and wait for a whole block, if you can copy the datbase folder. I tried doing that, but the syncing stuck at 97% and frequently disconnected from peers. In the log file it showed errors. So I started sync from scratch and it worked. |

That's crazy. 184 billion coin supply at $3 price is 552 billion dollar market cap. (In perspective: Bitcoin's current market cap = 175 billion) Do the math before expecting crazy returns. but we do not know how much the total capitalization will be in a few years. I think 1 dollar will be an excellent result)) I am not against optimism, but do you really expect BCN price to be multiplied 200 times in a year? I do not know for sure. but look at the XEM or XVG!!! what growth they showed in 2017 !!! Every coin has different fundamentals. Look at the market cap of the coins that gained 100x and also look at their reasons behind growth. BCN's premine history will never allow a sustainable growth. That's why it's clone XMR became "the people's choice", not BCN despite of being original Cryptonote coin. maybe you're right! I will not argue)) let's see what bcn shows I have no grudges against BCN, I hold a chunk of BCN myself. So I'll be very happy if it achieves that kind of growth. It is just very very unlikely, that's all. |

I have seen a lot of people trying to hide taxes especially the ones using localbitcoins. They forget the fact that government can trace them based on earnings received in their bank accounts.
Many of the localbitcoins trades are cash-in-hand transactions. |
