omg once upon a time i had 500 ZCL, and they didn't move much, and i sold them... now look...i wanna cry.
Happens to a lot of people, just consider it an expensive lesson. Back in the days I had a good chunk of MINT coins. Due to no further development, the price went down to 1 satoshi and I sold them all. After few months the development re-started and it went up to 30 satoshi. So I know how you feel. Also look at the people who sold XVG really cheap (not really a fan of XVG myself, just giving an example). The lesson I learned is that you should not sell anything if it becomes worthless (It isn't going to give you good money selling it dirt cheap anyways). Just keep it into backup drive and forget about it. Who knows what will happen in future? |

As far as you have your private key, you will be able to claim your BTCP.
However in order to "spend" those coins (ZCL as well as BTCP), you need to use an actual wallet (not paper wallet) like Swing or Eleos. I personally prefer Swing wallet for ZCL.
Can You enlighten me. Now i have Elios wallet but have a balance only on t address. Will I get BTCP or not and if not what should i must do? I generated Z address there and what is the next step? T-address is good enough. Z-address if for those who want to keep their balances hidden. If you can see your balance in Eleos wallet, you're good to go. Make sure to keep a backup of the wallet file somewhere. |

I am not a miner and don't understand the technicalities of it.
I've supported your coin since the early days when it was less than $2.
Whilst this coin has done amazing in recent weeks (and I'm happy for all involved), I find your increased coin circulation far too aggressive!!! It has literally doubled in a very short space of time.
It just doesn't make it worthwhile holding them anymore, due to the huge inflation!!!
Your White paper does not say much, except that there will be 21M coins in total, which worries me even more.
I'm sure other investors and early adopters will feel the same way as I do.
What measures do you have in place to prevent this massive inflation getting worse?!

Hi, i am mining ZCL since 2 weeks now. I think a lot of people are mining ZCL now because the current profitability is very high. The mining difficulty is very high compare to a month before. Before, i could mine 1 ZCL everyday, now only 0.01. The mining difficulty compensate the inflation. I don't think there is a massive inflation of the coin. There are only 3 million coins now. We are still not at 21 million coins. And there is surely new adapters of ZCL now to compensate it. And look at Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash, they have a lot more coins. Ethereum has so much coins in circulation too and it is so expensive now. But people still think that thoses coins are cheap. After the fork, all BTC holders will be awarded BTCP at 1:1 ratio, in addition to ZCL holders. That will make the total circulating supply of BTCP = ZCL Supply + BTC Supply However the total BTCP Supply is still capped at 21 million, just like BTC |

Hello, I have a trouble with my zclassic wallet adress. It seems that someone has the same adress as mine. I didnt recieve the last payment from pool to my adress and checked the block explorer. I saw that last transaction was the transfer of 1.26457671 ZCL from my adress but I even dont have such balance of ZCL. I should have recieve 0.10271895 zcl as payment from pool but no such transaction in explorer. Im using this adress for about 7 months and there were no problems with it. And how can it be that 2 wallets have the same adress??!!! Please, help me with this problem and you have to resolve it because it may become the big problem for all ZCL network. Get the desktop wallet and import the private key You mean the old one, swing wallet? Cause Elion doesn't have such option, only previously backed up wallet.dat may be put to specific path. I'll ckeck by myself That's why I like the Swing wallet. It has better interface than Eleos and you can easily export the private keys. |

I'm assuming the profits (and hence tax) will be calculated only when you convert your crypto holdings to fiat. You don't need to report any profits or tax as far as you keep holding crypto (just like capital assets). This is what my understanding is. |

None of the wallets support seed words? The only way to back them up is by file backups?
Are there any plans to implement seed words? That is the only backup method I'm comfortable with in the long term.
I think there are lots of problems without seed word. I am testing Elios beta wallet and after rebooting my comp it it is not initiating quick like other coin wallets. It hangs on "activating best chain..." And after rambling on other tabs and return to Welcome, You'll see white area and no info at all! Whether it hangs or doing some work, who knows. I don't know what issues you have been facing with Eleos, but I am using Swing wallet and it is working great!  |

You'd have to load your private key into a wallet app, I would think? The wallet apps currently available aren't that great, however... The recently released eleos wallet requires you to put the `wallet.dat` file into the correct folder manually (if you want to load an existing address), I believe. I am using the Swing wallet and it s working like a charm. There is no need for the eleos wallet. |

This is my first post so apologies for the noob question...
Do we expect to see a huge sell off of btc to exchange for zcl right before the fork? I don’t expect holders of btc to sit on 1:1 ratio of btc instead of selling some off for ~80x the number zcl at the same ratio.

None of the exchanges have yet confirmed their support for the fork. Your best bet right now if to keep ZCL in your wallet (or paper wallet) where you're in control of the private keys. |
