45348  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Largest Effective USB Hub for Block Erupters? on: July 30, 2013, 08:40:18 PM
I found a 20 port one I ordered it today. it should have the power needed.

http://usb.brando.com/usb-20-port-hub_p03123c039d015.html  the power supply is 20 volt 4.5 amp.

that is 90 watts  even if the unit is 70 percent when it converts to 5 volts you get 63 watts..

at 2.7 watts max for a stick  you would have to need 54 watts.  I am waiting for delivery .
45349  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or K1? A List. on: July 30, 2013, 04:24:41 PM
So how exactly did whoever who tested the Plugable USB 3.0 hub get it to fit 7 erupters?

This pictures seems like it'll only fit 4 at max.

they most likely used extensions like these

too risky to drive all packages at once... what if something happens? then no one gets shipments...  Grin

I never quite thought of it that way but losing 3000 sticks packed and ready to ship would suck   it would be 1650 btc. plus the shipping purchased for it.

Why is my bitcoin transfer "Pending"?
Last Updated: May 15, 2013 07:04PM PDT
Bitcoin transactions show up in your account almost instantly (just a few seconds) but stay "Pending" for about one hour until they are verified by the network. Once a transaction is verified, it will show "Complete" in green.  This lets you know that the transaction cannot be reversed and that the funds can be withdrawn.

Due to a certain degree of randomness, sometimes pending transactions aren't picked up by the bitcoin blockchain as quickly as usual. The transaction should go through eventually - if it doesn't for 24 hours it will be automatically cancelled and you can re-initiate it.

If you're wondering about a pending bitcoin purchase, you can read more here.

Never had this from them until today.  Has Any body ever had this happen?

Yes, I've had a coinbase transaction pending between them and my wallet for 8 hours before, despite the "instant purchase".  No clue what happens, but eventually the tx shows up on the blockchain.
yeah it took under 1 hour to fix itself. ty for info.

And an AiTech 10port, with 4A power supply:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009NESU4M
Feedback from anyone that's tried any of these is appreciated!
AiTech 10 port case looks similar/identical to Juiced hub, different name only (branding)?

once you get AiTech going, please post a review on the USB HUB thread!

I have the silver version of the aitech  it appears identical to the anker  which I also have.  both work fine  they handle 10 sticks with no  issues. I use this fan

I was able to get in touch with walletbit.com and they have organized a new wallet company.  they transferred my previous address to their new company.  so this means I am still using my same btc address that I paid the 3 coins to you .

45358  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Rumors on: July 25, 2013, 01:17:04 PM
.01 for past buyers would make for a lot of very loyal customers for ASICminer as well as any resellers who honor it and pass along the savings to their past buyers.  It would also quiet the people saying that buyers of these will never get ROI.

It almost sounds too good to be true.  Watching and waiting for Friedcat to make an announcement.

  .1 not .01 LOL!

But truthfully I can see the math in it working.

One)   this will make btc price move up  I can get 36 sticks for 3.96 btc come hell or high water I will want 4btc  canary sold 5500 sticks  yes that is only 550 btc plus shipping but other people sold 3000 sticks so that is a  real need for about 850 btc

two) if you can sell a pair of  these on ebay for   150 bucks you will turn profit.

three) ebay kits of 10 sticks and a anker hub for 750 would be a hot seller.

four ) at .6btc for a new buyer these start to look much better then a jally from bfl  even if bfl catches up with jallys.

five) bfl has shipped june july august sept oct and some of nov   in jallys only.  so this move will hurt them with new jally orders

45359  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Rumors on: July 25, 2013, 01:06:03 AM
Wow!

Are these resellers legit or are they selling the usual Chinese knockoffs? I remember a thread with official resellers. Will group buy organizers have the same status?

As said this will kill further activity as guys wait for the lower pricing.

If true, Canary you have another opening for a packer? Cheesy

Canary will need one! he has sold about 5500 sticks! 36 to me that would mean 36x .1 = 3.96 btc for 36 sticks! even with a tack on of  .34 btc to ship and handle it would come to 4.3 btc.   by the way this is absolute brilliance by ASIC MINER.  IF IT IS TRUE!!
45360  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group Buy #14 ASICMiner Erupter USB - 2+ day group 46+ ordered on: July 24, 2013, 08:09:52 PM
well it is a heck of a rumor.

if true I could get 36 sticks at .1btc each.  actually a smart thing to do if they do it.  although it would mean a lot of work for the resellers.  I wonder if they would go back all the way to buy 1 .
