doc has anyone  said they will send you a bitfury stick to work on? If you need one Let me know via pm as I increased my order to 24 .  I can mail you one if you don't have one.    Maybe next fri the 11th  for my delivery.

Thanks a lot for the offer. It won't be necessary though. I should have remote access to one soon, and probably later receive an actual device.

sounds good

44985  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 30, 2013, 08:59:00 PM
I'm trying to understand why ASICMINER is waiting to decide on the order size for Gen2... given the opportunity cost of not mining blocks and the, presumably, low cost of manufacturing the equipment... shouldn't the order size for Gen2 just be "as much as humanly possible given ASICMINER's budget"? What would the rationale for choosing a smaller order size be?

Probably because one order of the right size in the right moment is better than the alternatives they have. I'm with them if they want to wait and see the capabilities of the competition before deploying.

Playing "Wait and see" is a dangerous game if you are a mining hardware manufacturer.

the game has become very difficult.  look at the bit fury stick same power as an am stick  truly exists is not vaporware/  So if AM want to do sticks  what is the correct move?
Build a 1gh stick and sell for .3btc?
Build a 2gh stick and sell for .6 btc?
Make a clone of the bit fury 2.5gh and sell at .7btc?

Can Am do any of the above by nov 1st?

I am confused I thought you closed this buy down> I have 2 questions:

one  can I add to my order of 20?

Two does this have windows 7  bit minter.com java client support?  I know Doc H was working on it. I would order a few more if It works with bit minter.  thanks phil

Yes I had a reserve order cancel partially so those are now available again Smiley

Bitminter is being worked on but I don't think it's ready yet. CGminer in linux and BFGminer in Windows and Linux are working, check the OP or Beastlymac's info page for installation instructions.

He had a cancellation

Talk to bitminter. I'm waiting for cgminer myself but the bfg in the op should work

cgminer is working in linux and I'm sure it will be ready for windows very soon.

"Accepting PayPal", where? It thought there was a link before.

I won't be accepting Paypal for these last 31 units. Just BTC at this time.

Hi my order for 19 sticks plus 1 replacement for a dud  arrived today.

I got the the 19 sticks but you forgot to send me a replacement for the dud. So you owe me a stick. Not to worry I am placing another order today. I would want  9 more sticks at .11 = .99 btc plus the replacement stick.

Please let me know we are on the same page. and that you realize I am entitled to the replacement.  I know you handle 1000's of sticks and this is only a 1 stick error.

I have ordered more then 300 sticks from you and this is the first error on your part.  I am sure you can fix it pretty easy .

  Thanks  phil

this was the payment for the 19 sticks

Please let me know we are on the same page here..  Thanks again.
strange... i grabbed 2 blocks of 10 from inventory and packed them up and shipped them out... but if you say so, OK...

yeah I was surprised as it was a pair of ten packs.

But the gold ten pack was short 1 stick and mixed with 6 gold 3 black.  I just set them up for overnight test all 19 work fine. I am going to setup an order for the 9 plus the one in about 10 minutes.  Sales on ebay have slowed  done quite a bit but i am still selling a few 5 packs.  Thanks for fast reply  phil

only thecanryinthemine and silentsonicboom have delivered any working gear to me.  I have ordered more then 400 sticks from them.

My point is I am not doing well on anything but AM usb sticks. I have more then 25 btc in preorders and 500 usd with bfl. about 3.5k

0 delivery but to be fair theswede75 was super fast with the refund on that dead deal and my biggest preorder with 17 coins is about 2 days old and on schedule for under 2-3 weeks.

Still no video not much info and you only have 54 sticks prepaid.

 https://blockchain.info/address/1AHvViTD5wohPywNYHi8NZ8uPhbY9dZXCY  only  21.6btc

I sent 17 btc to ssinc for his sticks. as he had a lot more info to show on his prebuy.

I do want to order as I am a preorder junkie but please a little more info before i send my btc out into cyberspace.

This was the last straw for me to not even consider these guys. Stack this on top of no video, no proof of work.. nothing.... don't waste your time
Might as well call it VaporFury1
If you are going to have a pre-order, SHOW US WHAT WE ARE ORDERING!

We got some boards today!

Aaaaaand it seems to be one of our better screw-ups Smiley

hint: look at the USB connector pins ....

/running for paint thinner now

why so hateful?
He is probably like me 0 for 5 on preorders with a lot of coins floating in cyberspace.  Maybe he did not make a lot when this was gpu and not asics. So he is disgusted.  Myself I wanted to buy  but I have now been told my knc orders will be 7 to 14 days wait. Was hoping they would be on time and now that the delay is certain I am holding back.

Doc H I have 20 of the  new fury usb sticks on a preorder have you made them play n play with the java client? The preorder has reopened and I can get some more I would like to buy 4 more but they cost a lot. Let me know if you have had and luck with them.  thanks phil

I don't have access to a device yet, so I can't implement support yet.

Hello, could you explain to me why we gain more bitcoin with Bitminter past 24 hours. what the problem is the pool is too small to solve the blocks?

Anything can create blocks, even an old laptop solomining, or a much smaller pool than ours. But the time it takes on average will vary a lot.

We had a 99.9% CDF block. 1 out of 1000 blocks will be that unlucky, for any pool. What we need to push through unlucky blocks faster is more hashpower. So tell your friends to join Smiley

thanks for the info on the sticks.  I do not have one to send you as I am waiting for them.

Do we put the delivery address and return address for the label as the same??? Don't see your from address anywhere for self printed labels
put your address for both but put in Canary's zip code  60181 in the spot that asked if shipped from different zip code

 this is correct

usually closed means closed.....   but Canary has quite a following.... and will deliver!

Nice.  Still waiting for bitminter.com  and Doc H.  to confirm the java client will work.

I really would love to swap out my 100 AM sticks with these.  I could have a 200gh farm plug n play. On bitminter.

Indeed. I am awaiting clear instructions, refund etc. from Metabank. Apparently they ran into irreversible customs issues and will be refunding the miners.

i read refunds are starting to show.  at least the first 4 orders
