I was starting to feel like a mooch...  Glad I finally got a block for us with the new ASICs.

 you have 1/12 of the pool you will get many more to come!
45324  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is cloudhashing.com a scam?? on: August 05, 2013, 01:17:19 AM
Can anyone who has purchased a cloudhashing contract comment on the effectiveness?  Are you receiving the hash rate you paid for?  Any other pros/cons?

     My first payment is due Aug 5th. So  we will see what they pay. they are hashing on bitminter about 850Gh.
 So the guess is I will get 10%-30% of my contract which is for 6gh.  Although they have it written as  5gh.

 Basically they have been a disorganized mess.  I will post on monday if they pay me some coin. or if they do not pay me.
45325  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [12 TH/s] BitMinter.com [ASIC support: var diff, Stratum, GBT, rollntime] on: August 05, 2013, 01:08:06 AM
Might as well remove cloudhashing from your website.  It seems BTCGuild is there preferred pool.
EDIT: Remove AD's I mean.

true.

cloudhashing is back and close to 850gh

Canary has shipped close to 10000 sticks. He mentioned he would post  tracking sunday I am sure you will get tracking tonight.  Just As I will get my tracking for my sticks soon.
45327  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Rumors on: August 04, 2013, 04:19:46 PM
When they are about .15 per they will be a reasonable mining platform. In today's world anyway.

 at .15 btc   30 = 4.5btc  and about  10gh in hash power.

10 gh would earn 1.3 coins in the next 10 days at a diff of 37 mill
45328  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [NOW SHIPPING] #16 ASICMiner Erupter USB - .41 to .55 btc (CE + RoHS news) 1000+ on: August 04, 2013, 03:43:17 PM
i have faith in his judgement, he has been honest to us so far...

he will have his price reasonable for us all to profit.

Yeah He has sold me around 60 so far buys;

10 = 6 purchased
11 = 6 purchased
12 =10 purchased
13 =14 purchased
15 =12 purchased
16 =15 purchased

My first 36 purchased were at .95 each.

  I think 63 sticks so far.  Maybe 1 or 2 less. I can't remember exactly.

 If I got some kind of loyalty discount.
 I would buy 50 at .2-.3   each.
  I have around 15 coins to spend they  come in this thur. from coinbase.

I am selling usb sticks on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151094299574&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

 this is a basic setup it uses bitminter and windows 7 .   the sticks are the lowest cost gear that you can buy quickly.   I can do a private sale of 1 usb stick via paypal for 70 dollars free shipping to the usa. As you can see on the ebay listing I am a longtime seller on ebay.  send me a pm if you want one.
45330  Economy / Securities / Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts,-UK LTD company on: August 03, 2013, 11:11:37 PM
i was actually considering joining cloudhashing and taking the platinum contract, however it now seems that the price has increased since yesterday on the platinum contract. it was something like £300+ now they want £600+ Shocked. therefore ruling me out!

there must be demand then.

yeah I guess.  well hashing started on July 23rd so 2 weeks come to  aug 5th.  I stayed with my contract and did not  change to the sept contract. So 14 days of coin are due to me on aug 5th. even if it is at the 10% rate.

that is 1.4 days. most of hashing was at 31 mill not 37 mill.   I have a btc number in mind that I should get on the 5th of AUG.  I will post what I got.

I found a good power supply for 5volt hubs.  I am going to stop stealing this thread and post a usb hub thread.

yep that is the link.  they are now 28.99 but rakuten  had a 20x point  promo so 3x 28.99 = 86.97.

 then  20x points are 1740  or $17.40 usd.  net of 69.57 for the 3 or 23.19 usd each.  I am waiting on the shipment.

I may get them on monday they ship from NY I am in NJ they gave me a usps tracking number this morning.

Remember that I use windows 7 pro and the asus maximus gene v mobo with an i5 3470s cpu. (may be a 2500t I will check it)
It is higher quality gear left over from my gpu farms.  So my testing may be worthless for a raspberry pi guy.

What is origin zip code?

I believe it is 60181, or at least somewhere near there.

yes 60181 is correct
45335  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [NOW SHIPPING] #16 ASICMiner Erupter USB - .41 to .55 btc (CE + RoHS news) 1000+ on: August 03, 2013, 01:05:04 AM
660 GH/s sitting on your table

Difficulty Factor
Hash Rate (mega-hashes / second)
Exchange Rate ($/฿)

Coins   Dollars
per Day   ฿10.62   $1,119.72
per Week   ฿74.33   $7,838.06
per Month   ฿322.82   $34,039.56

Now calculate the cost of 10 port hubs and the amount of hours you would spend unwrapping and plugging each one in.   Shocked

running a 2000 stick usb farm would be a lot of work. the cheapest hub  I have found is a 7 port hub for 24 dollars it has enough power. comes with a 5v 4a wall wart that is 20 watts 7 sticks is 17.5 watts 6 sticks is 15 watts  so 6 and a fan would be 16 watts. no one is running a 290 hub 2000 stick farm.
you would need 290 hubs at 24 usd  each or 6960  usd in hubs!

 I may try to run a 200 stick farm not sure.  I am running a 39 stick setup now and it is very easy to do. I know I can go to 100 no problem.

what hub and host system you using? i was having issues running 5 x 7 port hubs on a pi (which should do 45) - it would always leave 3-4 sticks on 'ready'. its not a power issue because even if i removed sticks it always left 3-4 hanging... seems like a comm issue. all hubs were plugged into one hub and that was plugged into the pi.
 right now I have some good quality boards left over from my gpu farms.

an asus maximus gene  v will run 100 plus sticks with windows   7 you can use a low power cpu  like a 2500t   any low cost platinum  psu works.

this  psu
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0064LWJ3U/ref=sr_1_1_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1375491710&sr=8-1&keywords=antec+ea+450&condition=new

with this cpu

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151088343934&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT     I had four of them only need 2

 and this mobo

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-Maximus-V-GENE-Republic-of-Gamers-motherboard-/321174455256?pt=Motherboards&hash=item4ac77d43d8

  would run 100 plus sticks   I am playing around with hubs    having trouble deciding what to use.

waiting on these to test.

http://www.rakuten.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=252364608

  here is a shot of my farm

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151094299574&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

 it has 39 sticks in use  but I am sure it can go to 100 on each of those 2 pcs in the photo.  I get 15 sticks  from Canary brings me to 55 sticks..

I will sell a few 6 stick setups on ebay and next order (17) I want 25-50 sticks  my farm will also be able to run 4 gpus at lite coin when the colder weather hits.  I have got to love Canary's speedy shipping.  Make all of this possible.  Not trying to side track or hijack this thread.

  As Canary has made my change from gpu to asic low cost fast and easy.  Hats off to the yellow bird!!

Wow, congratulations, WhitePhantom Smiley

 Doc  you beat me to it.  A pair of mini rigs  and 4 to come sweet!    roi will be fast for the first 2!  diff will jump to 37 mill and stay at that for 12 days.

 in those 12 days you will get about

 161 btc   diff will then jump to 44 btc you will earn about 136 coins  so figure close to 300 coins in the next 24 days sweet.

Plus you are the king of bitminter at 1th!

I have been grabbing asic usb sticks I am up to 14Gh 42 sticks with more sticks coming. I am  Still waiting on bfl gear.

 I may mine with 100 sticks and that is it till bfl gear shows up.

 It looks like I made a bad move buying the cloudhashing contract wanted to help out bitminter oh well.I could have 15 sticks from asic miner for the same price as the contract.

so 10 by 20 is 200 boxes in that wall. 10 per box? gives you 2000 sticks.  nice hash power. 672gh. this will get you at just about 10,000 sticks sold. Nice!

 I am thinking how many I can host if I push. I may get up to 200 sticks hashing. I do not think I can do more then that.
45339  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner USB Bitcoin Miner Price Drops 80% to 0.175 BTC on: August 02, 2013, 06:03:23 PM
Whats amazing to me is even at this new Rock bottom price theses things are still barely worth it..   Roll Eyes

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/

Crazy all the people paying higher then this..   Do they not even do the math?Huh

 yes people do the math. at .48btc a stick roi will happen in 100 -120 days if hash rate growth slows. many people believe that hash rate/ diff growth will flatten out.
