You know how 4 pin fan connectors usually have a smaller polarizing plate that allows a three pin connector to fit on 4 pins properly? Well these connectors have a full 4 pin wide plate. Both of the three pin fan connectors were forced... One works, the other doesn't.. Can't send a picture without removing the fans - which I will do in a short while. Right now, it looks like Eligius is down - showing as dead in cgminer. The current pool hashrate is 300 Gh/s - down from 60+ Th/s Anyone have a preference for a backup pool? Yep, have one. Connected up, ready for smoke test #1 - 10 seconds on, check fans, see if any blinky lights blink....
EDIT: Cooler fans turn, blinky lights blink. There's a blue LED on the inside that is so bright it lights up the whole room when it blinks.
Problem #4 - only one case fan works.
Trying to plug/unplug, but the connectors are in a bad spot just under the fans. And the board they plug into has full 4 pin connectors and the fan plugs are only three - they have to be forced down onto the 4 pin connectors because they don't fit....
EDIT again: OK - skipping the fan for now. Each fan plug in under the other. I have to remove the working fan to connect the not-working fan. I'll do that later - right now, I'm about to break my network by changing my gateway IP and subnet.
If you don't hear from me for a couple of days - send a rescue party......

Yeah excited to have Miner's ready to hash as onslaught of difficulty is going to be a challenge. Once the miners are running next step is to see how much can we overclock the Miners  there is some new info from knc about stable 550 at 1 watt per gh trying to find a link for that |

Got this taken care of. Yes - I was going by the orders. I might have put some pay-in addresses in my spreadsheets. Will double check everything against your spreadsheets tomorrow, once the Jupiter is up and hashing.
thank you it is an easy error to make and I am sure you will correct it. like I said to thomas_s I have been stressed about preorders. you guys did a lot of work to keep us informed over the bitcointalk outage. I wrote that post late at night after a long weekend and after seeing it this morning it looks a bit too nasty. I've run tech support for forums before and I've done tons of stuff on the interwebz there is nothing you can say or call me on the forum that will phase me =) thanks for being cool about it |

glad I found this thread. after this site went down and now came back up I decided to copy all threads on addiction and the group buys that created the mining gear.
addiction has knc Jupiter miners from 3 group buys
buy 1 9 of 12 have been delivered and are hashing these buyers have addiction shares on hand.
buy 2 0 of 8 have been delivered . ---------------------these buyers do not have addiction shares.
buy 3 0 of 5 have been delivered. --------------------- these buyers do not have addiction shares.
this is as of oct 7th. please feel free to let us know when the remaining 15 miners are delivered.

paper work isn't a mess -R- must have been going by the order page not the spreadsheets when he was transferring data, my sheets show all the payout addresses that were submitted for BTC payments and some paypal. your info was correct but r copied the wrong payout address . I apologize as my post appeared nasty. I have been stressed a lot about my different preorders from various group buys. and the down time of the forum freaked me out a bit. |
