Not really willing to ship first. I've shipped about 5 of these and done plenty of transactions on here, anyone can vouch for me. 1 broke one time. I re-shipped. I can refer you to past people I've shipped to and the buyer who I re-shipped to. Note too that the one that broke was the first I shipped-I've since learned how to package them.
1603  Economy / Goods / Re: Cuba's Havana Club Blanco Rum:illegal in the states on: February 05, 2013, 08:06:04 PM
Havana Club Blanco is no longer available in Australia.  We have to buy Havana Club 3yo.  It's a mostly clear rum, but no blanco

o.0
So you can still get legit Havana Club but not the Blanco? How dumb is that? I know the 3 year you're talking about. Its good rum, but one for sipping-DEFINITELY not mixing (its too high-quality and think about a Mojito with spiced rum...ughhhh). The Blanco I always use for Mojitos (my favorite). That Cane Sugar grown in tropical Cuba paired with the century-old tradition of rum making in Cuba makes for a very smooth Mojito.
There are other, cheaper brands of Cuban state rum that come in Blanco. Can you get those?
1604  Economy / Goods / Re: Heirloom Papaver Somniferum (Opium Poppy) Seeds on: February 05, 2013, 05:58:38 AM
Holy Jesus Fuck dude, are you nuts? DON'T DRINK THAT SHIT! It has a damn good chance of fucking you up permanently.

There is an old Ukrainian poem/song that, to paraphrase, tells a story about a mother with a sick baby that just keeps crying and crying. The mother just doesn't know what to do to make the baby stop crying, and asks the neighbors for help. They suggest she does what you did with the tea, except instead of water to boil the bulbs in milk. So she does that, and feeds it to the baby, and the baby calms down, and never ever cries ever again. Ever. Morbid poem, but a good f'in lesson. Don't do that!
They used to market anti-cry aids to babies that was just heroin. As long as you know what you're dealing with and are smart about it. You can get a really good idea of your dose by how many bulbs you use and how long you let them soak in the water. But good lookin out, I don't want to die.
1605  Economy / Goods / Heirloom Papaver Somniferum (Opium Poppy) Seeds on: February 05, 2013, 02:35:03 AM
Hi everybody,
In about a week I will have a sizeable quantity of heirloom Papver Somniferum or "Opium Poppy" seeds. I won't tell you the name of the variety, but I have been growing them for about a year. I chose them because originally because of their ease to grow. I live in CA and had them in planters in my backyard. I watered and fertilized them and they started taking over like crazy, so I replanted them in the garden in my front yard.
This is the same plant (and even in some cases, variety) that is used to produce illicit Opium as well as Morphine, Heroin and prescriptin narcotics. Although its legal to grow these plants in the US, I originally obtained the seeds abroad. They make beautiful flowers. Of course, you could score them and get the resin out of the bulbs, but you wouldn't exactly be starting a growing operation.
I have never scored the poppys to extract the resin, but I have made a poppy tea on a few occasions. You pick the bulbs off when you otherwise would collect the resin from them, let them dry, and boil them in a pot of water on the stove. Filter through coffee filters and you have yourself opium tea. The taste is not a bad one, but an acquired one. The effects are definitely noticeable. You are ingesting Morphine and Codeine. Its a good sleepy time tea-you don't nod out or anything.
If anyone is interested I can send you a handful of seeds (enough to get some growing) for .25 BTC, shipped. Only USA-sorry. I don't want to be cited for sending "drugs" internationally lol.
They will be ready to send in about a week's time. Let me know.
Thanks!

Kaplan has their own little classroom at their school. Not that thats necessarily a testament to how good they are vs how much money they have.

FYI I have made a simple app to turn keys and public addresses into QR barcodes. All I do is wait for them to be generated, copy and paste, and I have 2 barcodes/bill (private key and public address). It goes without saying that I can't read let alone remember a QR barcode. Trust me, I understand security concerns. I am trying my best to come up with solutions to fix them. I already have one customer. Hopefully he'll be nice enough to put in a good word when he gets his bills.

It is all three-don't forget profitable. Thats why I do it. The going rate for a BTC is always about 20-30% higher on there.
1613  Economy / Goods / Re: The Easiest,Safest, and Most Profitable Way to Cash-Out Your BTC: BTC Paper Bills on: January 30, 2013, 02:38:12 AM
The cotton paper printing is an interesting offer you make.
Unfortunately your entire Statement of Controls consists of, "I will not look twice at your private keys-they come out of the printer and the hologram goes on."
... I will pass for now.
I have further taken what you said into consideration. I know I could type away all day that I'm not recording keys, but that wouldn't do anything. So, I only glance at the computer screen (with printer prompt in front) and print sheets of the notes. I had my 5 year old cousin put all the stickers over the code. Unless that bastard was recording keys there's no way anyone in the world knows them. He loved playing with stickers too.

1616  Economy / Goods / Silver! 2 x 1 ounce Bars [Johnson Matthey and Sunshine Mint] on: January 29, 2013, 11:23:30 PM
Hi everybody,
Up for sale I have 2 x 1 ounce Silver Bars. One is by Johnson Matthey, the other is by Sunshine Mint. I don't like to part with my bars, but with the BTC being where its at I'll let a couple go. As you can see from the picture, I just cut them from their sheet and put them in hard plastic holders (included!).
I am asking for each bar, shipped anywhere in the US.
Thanks!

*note: scratches/blemishes are on plastic cases, not bars

Some notes have the private key recorded on them. The Leonardo note and any custom note just have the barcode. I don't think I can memorize a barcode by glancing for a split-second at it.

Those are valid points. However, I feel strongly this is a safe rout to go.
I figure about the week delay time (before confirming arrival) would be enough to catch fraudsters. As far as scammer buyers go, they don't receive their BTC until they confirm with me they got the order. This will all be done through eBay messages.
The best idea: just stick with a seasoned eBayer and you'll have no problems. I ignore people with less than 20 feedback comments.
I appreciate you trying to warn me-we stand united against scammers
1619  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Bills on 100% Cotton Paper w/Security Holograms:Classic Design or Custom on: January 29, 2013, 04:02:32 AM
Safest, Easiest, and Most Profitable Way to Cash-Out Your Bitcoins:
Offer them for sale on eBay as a Bitcoin bill. People on eBay pay WELL above the going rate for Bitcoins (they probably just know no other way of acquiring them). PayPal does not condone the selling of Bitcoins because its a  "electronic currency". And, sellers who have sold Bitcoins through PayPal have been burned by scheming buyers who put the coins in their wallet and say they never received anything. And since there's no real way to prove it, PayPal sides with the buyer (ALWAYS) and you are out however much you sold the bitcoin(s) for.
But with Bitcoin Bills you are selling a product-a novelty you could call it, since it is physical, has a unique design, hologram, etc. PayPal cannot keep you from selling them. So, what you do is in the terms of the auction explain that you are sending the customer a physical bill. And once they confirm receipt of the bill and leave positive feedback, you fund the bill by sending whatever amount of bitcoins the sale was for. I have sold two bills on eBay doing this, and: $22/bitcoin plus $2 shipping. And once the buyer leaves positive feedback for their "Bitcoin Bill", I funds it; easy. Even with PayPal, there is no going back after positive feedback has been left.
So, whether you want to go paper to keep your wallet secure, transfer bitcoins physically, give them as a gift (probably to someone who knows little about bitcoins), or cash out by selling them on eBay, Bitcoin Bills are for you.
